 - We paid around 100€ the night and the following ones went up to 220 €; simply too much.

 - but the closest metro (L4) is just 5 minutes away by foot and it has good connections with other metro lines.
 - The beach was also nearby, as was the bus and metro station.
 - The hotel is just ten minutes from the Glories shopping centre, tram stop and metro station and a few minutes from the Llacuna metro station so it's a good base to explore the city if you'd rather not stay right in the centre itself.
 - The people were really nice, very helpful and the location of the hotel was really good, close to the metro station, tram or bus which take you to the city centre.
 - The hotel is situated in what seems to be a residential area with very little traffic, a little park close by and a 5mins walk to Glories shopping centre and Glories metro.

 - There were lifts, people playing ping pong, swinging chairs, & a small section of seating with people watching a giant screen of soccer.
 - The lift was a pain !!
 - Must have room card to use elevators.
 - Our keycard did not work in one of the lifts and there did not seem to be an option to take the stairs.
 - I just really liked how chilled the hotel felt - and also the extra security measure that you had to use your room key to activate the lifts (have never see this before).

 - The only issue we found was after showering there would be a weird sewer-y smell coming from the floor drain next to the toilet (but a little airing out cleared it right up).
 - but not great quality - horrible coffee and stale rolls.
 - Breakfast was so-so, don’t expect much.. the odor on the hallway outside the room on 4th floor was a bit stinky..
 - The only issue we faced was the odor coming from the bathroom ( on rainy days according to the staff!).
 - Stale, ordinary bread and sub-standard ingredients.

 - Our experience from travelling to many capital and large cities is that rooms with a view over the city often come with a price of enhanced street noise.
 - Price point was lower than surrounding hotels.
 - Meantime, the rates went up,
 - Hotel Jazz is a very good choice if you want to stay in Barcelona, modern design and good prices and offers (try their website), excellent location at the very center of Barcelona (Plaza Catalyona and near Las Rablas avenue).
 - Excellent hotel, staff and price!

 - Close to Barcelona Stadium, Camp Nou, less than 3 minutes by walking.
 - Stayed here in May, staff were excellent during my time there, couldn't have been more helpful, about 50 metres from the Camp Nou and about 250 metres to the Metro so excellent location for seeing the city.
 -
 - Helpful staff, clean and tidy hotel in a clam area near Camp Nou.
 - It’s OK to stay for a couple of days if you’re planning on visiting Camp Nou,

 - I explained to the staff that our door was left open and the maids had left their key in our door and they weren’t fussed at all.
 - but a little basic, overlooked the main road which meant having the window open was a problem because of noise and I like fresh air at night.
 - Average breakfast and the worst part is that the restaurant is open only at certain hours during the day!
 - AC set at 26 and not possible to lower, so had to sleep with window open.
 - The restaurant was not open when I arrived in the evening so I had to eat in the bar area.

 - We had our Christmas company lunch at this hotel again this year and the experience was again outstanding: nice location and place, quite atmosphere, great food, extremely professional and friendly staff.
 - The stadium is only a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel and there are lots of tapas bars nearby.

 - I had no room store my suitcase, nor was there enough room to drop my things like phone, laptop, iPad etc.
 - but no one picked up my call.
 - My only criticism is that I didn't find the wifi was too fast, things didn't load too quickly and certain apps on my phone would take a while to load data.
 - Just to be clear, I stayed here during the Mobile World Congress, which has 90,000 visitors, so every hotel in Barcelona is full and expensive, and this was no different.

 - Walls perhaps a bit thin
 - Walls are very thin - could hear conversations of woman guest in room next door at all hours of the night – very interesting
 - Very noisy neighbours with paper thin walls - I could hear every word until 2am.
 - Walls very thin, I could Listen my neighbours TV.

 - I noticed and straight away checked our belongings as our room was right opposite the terrace and people walking in and out would have seen our open door.
 - We stayed here for one night as a group at the start of a cycling tour so arrived fairly late and had to get going quite early the next morning.
 - When people arrived at night, it disturbed me in my sleep.
 - Ricard told us it was too early to check in so we decided to walk to Camp Nou and there we took the Barcelona Touristic Bus.
 - Hotel should consider charging an additional fee for customers who would like to check in earlier (even 12pm) as we would have definitely considered this!
