I'll include pictures with this review to show you. Whilst we didn't partake of the alcoholic drinks with our brekkie there was a choice of cava,whisky,baileys and others if you wanted them (and some did!)

The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice and is available until 12 midday.

The breakfast (available until 12noon every day) is amazing and includes something for all tastes, including cava if you fancy it!

Breakfast was served until midday each day, with plenty of options, including freshly cooked eggs, omelettes.

As other reviews have said the breakfast is outstanding - a large selection to choose from and the staff are attentive and very friendly .

Sitges is beautiful so glad we chose to stay here and not Barcelona as the boys had the best time ever on the beach and a couple of day trips to camp nou and to watch Barca play.

The rooftop has a lovely bar with great views and reasonable prices.

Exceeded all expectations of a 3 Star hotel for the price paid.

The rooftop bar is the perfect place for an aperitif to watch the sunset, and not at all expensive.

We booked very last minute a sea view room - worth the small extra cost.

but the overall experience for what we paid was good.

Serving afternoon snack at 5pm all included in room rate.

Location, price and amenities combine to make this a great spot for your Sitges holiday!

All in all, a great deal for the price, and a great place to return to.

We booked an airport transfer through reception and was given a fixed price.

It is reasonably priced and they offer a welcome drink and wonderful, enormous, free breakfast buffet.

They also have a terrific breakfast that is part of the room price which is abundant and delicious and served til noon.

When you factor in the price there is so much more in sitges.

It has an unbeatable price, great views of the water, and is right across from the beach.

Absolutely fabulous roof top terrace bar with stunning views and drinks not over priced, loved spending our wind down evenings up there.

Most comfortable beds in Sitges and a fabulous breakfast included in the price.

but a jug of Sangria was €19 compared to €15 last year and we paid €15 for a Hendricks gin and Tonic when the standard is €9.

We popped over the road to one of the supermarkets for cheaper cans of Estella for the beach in the afternoon (daily)
Sitges itself is a lovely place, clean, and safe for everyone I believe.

but the maids always gave us fresh, they could reduce laundry costs by doing this and keep the wine!

Roof top bar we went to a couple of times, this has fantastic panoramic sea views.

The hotel has a lovely rooftop bar, which is only open to hotel guests.

The staff certainly deserves a round of applause, there are little amenities like apples and lime water in the lobby, and bigger ones like a rooftop bar and pool.

Complimentary cava at the rooftop bar can not be missed!

They offered complementary cava and tea on their great rooftop bar and everyone, especially the lovely blond haired lady at the front desk was so helpful, welcoming and accommodating.

In the afternoon there was free coffee, tea and cakes at the rooftop bar.

Additional unexpected extras are such as: welcome cava in rooftop bar, complementary drink at choice of local bars, coffee pod machines and fridges in rooms and complementary daily afternoon tea an pastries.

The bathroom was small, with a shower only,

The room we had was small, including an old lounge chair that had seen better days, a broken glass table, and a functional shower in a tiny bathroom.

The less-than-good feature,  which caused departure after one night: a room that reeked of mildew ("moho"), with adjoining  tiny bathroom (barely room for one person) with aroma of mildew, urine, and mold (also on the shower floor/wall grout).

although the bathroom was tiny the shower was fantastic and it would not put me off returning.

But we had the possibility to shower at a small shower.

The bathroom was tiny with no counter space and a super cheap hairdryer you might see in a Motel 6.

The rooms are small, the beds are hard and the bathroom is tiny.

The shower was like a small wetroom with a tropical shower head, a telescope shower and jet shower.

This sounded great at first except that the room -located on the 1st floor above the restaurant- was actually smaller, with a tiny bathroom and a ridiculously huge bed that was taking most of the space.

The bathroom was small with a walk in shower which was powerful.

What bothered me was smoke, which would fill the room, and some younger  guests were smoking pot.

but also the lobby and tiny elevator which had a stuffy, musty, close atmosphere.

I too have to agree with a previous comment that on arrival the barman wasn't to the standard we had previously experienced, and the following afternoon the previous nights empty glasses, ashtrays etc had not been cleared and if the poor girl on duty hadn't enough to do

The pool side furniture needs attention as it smells of damp and is not pleasant to lie on.

We were extremely disappointed after viewing the official pictures promoted by the hotel and were met with dry pastries, stale fruit, damaged ham and flies in the milk for the coffee.

but that doesn't make up for smelly drains in bathroom,would not come back sorry to all your loyal fans but not for me.

This was a major annoyance as they sat on their balcony smoking and grating their chair on the tiles. .

The only slight downside was some inconsiderate tuneless singing emanating from the bar one night (3.30 am,to be precise) by a few guests who should have been more aware of the disturbance they causing - certainly not the hotel's fault.

The smell of bread is heavenly when it wafts up to your room.

but because it is fabric eg bedding style is  smelly, unhygienic and would be very hard to clean, and not a pleasure to spend time round the pool, it's the same furniture as two years ago.

There was no mold or mildew and the room was very peaceful.

We were constantly surrounded by smokers.

If we had any criticism whatsoever it would be that there was a slightly persistent smell of bad drains in our room,

My only criticism would be that amongst that fine option for breakfast, the coffee, tea, etc came out of a machine and it was disgusting.

We would of expected guests to smoke outside and this was not really the fault of the hotel

The room we were given was not as nice as last year, bit small and smelled of smoke, which when reported was dealt with.An upgrade might have helped us get over the trauma of having all our possesions stolen!

The tv remote control for example was disgusting.

She said the smell happens everywhere not only in this hotel

I hope the management read this and do something about cleaning the filters, since they looked filthy when I looked inside the air conditioner and it would be a relatively easy thing to fix.

It was not clean enough especially the floor around the toilet was dirty (old urine yuk) and remained that way the whole stay.

Incredible location, helpful and friendly staff.

The room was spacious, especially by European standards- we each had a night stand, power outlet, and drawer space. There were plenty of power outlets which was helpful too (one of our other hotels had 2, which isn't enough these days for all our devices!)

The cleaning staff were excellent and made the room up to a very high standard every day

In terms of location it couldn't be better placed in central Sitges and is right opposite the beach.

We were there for Christmas and we had glorious weather, we sat on the lovely roof terrace during the day and on an evening, great spot, very chilled, playing cool Jazz The Spa Pool stopped working while we were there, which was a shame as we would have liked to use it.

Teatime on the roof terrace is a nice touch.

Still my favourite part is the roof top terrace, it’s a lovely way to start and end an evening overlooking the beach and promenade with a glass whilst the sunsets.

Also in the afternoon on the terrace they provide afternoon tea for FREE !!!

The impeccable homely service, amazing breakfast, spectacular roof terrace, very comfortable bedrooms , excellent facilities, afternoon tea facility. .

Just back from a weeks stay at the Platjador, what a comfortable clean hotel, our room was at the back, we could see the pool from the terrace,

The terrace bar overlooks the sea and is excellent for an early evening drink.

Best of all, floor 5 has a roof bar and terrace overlooking the beach.

Only element that marred my visit was the price of imported G & Ts on the roof top terrace.

After a day out we look forward to sitting together with tea and cocktails on the fifth floor roof terrace, looking over the stunning sea and sky view.

Morning coffee on the front terrace is a pleasurable start to the day ahead.

After that, the complimentary action continues upstairs at the 5th floor terrace bar where there is a late afternoon tea and cakes service from 5.30 - 7.30.

Everything about the room was perfect:  great bed, good shower, clean and a lovely terrace overlooking the sea.

The bar on level 5, tended to by a cheerful bartender, is in a ideal location to enjoy a “nightcap”.

The bar on the 5th floor is a lovely spot for a drink in the evening.

They go out of their way to help the customers,  including the bar staff, the restaurant staff at breakfast, the wonderful receptionists and the lovely cleaners.

Roof top bar was very relaxing and lovely views with good service from the bar.

The bar room on the 5.floor has very nice view of the beach.

On check in we were given a voucher for a welcome glass of cava in the bar, which I may add has the most amazing views.

The views are great in the bar so definitely worth visiting.

Agree with another reviewer that the bar is under used/under promoted.

The roof area was amazing with bar and lounge and lovely outside patio overlooking the beach .The bar was open from 12.00am till 1.00am and served afternoon tea from 5.00pm.

Choice of soaps shampoos body lotion etc., The hotel also has a bar/terrace on the 5th floor where you can have complimentary afternoon tea ..and the bar serves drinks in the eve ,whilst we were watching the moon rise over the sea!!

1 minute from metro station, 30 mins walk from Nou Camp.

From the hotel, the best way to the Nou Camp would be the Green line straight from Espanya to Les Corts.

It was also on a good metro route to the Nou Camp.

The reason for our visit was to watch Barcelona fc at the now camp.

Hotel is only 4 stops on metro to camp nou, and easy to get to other attractions.

I would definately recommend this hotel, it is within walking distance to the city centre and camp nou, the tourist bus stops just outside the hotel, and there is a metro station if required

After the Camp Nou tour we hopped on the tour bus which was handy.

The main feature would be the roof top pool which has a stunning view and the hotel itself is in a perfect location for El Camp Nou, Las Ramblas and the Palace- all within walking distance.

Covered nearly every form of transport and a few discounts.Brill location for the Camp Neu and other major sights.about 20 mins walk to Las Ramblas.

Just back from trip to Barcelona mainly to catch Barca v Malaga at the footie with some friends.We had a wonderful time as the hotel is perfectly placed for the city centre or the nou camp.Rooms are very modern and clean couldn't have asked for better.Breakfast has a wide choice and was part of our deal.

Air conditioning was great and the rooftop was incredible with a beautiful view to Plaza d' España.

We always stay at B-Hotel because the staff is really friendly, the rooms are very clean, breakfast is super and it is well located next to the Plaza Espanya with lots of restaurants, bars and the Arenea Shopping Center.

Good location, just a few metro stops from Las Rambla and close to the Plaza D’Spain metro station.

Prime location at Plaza Espanya, clean rooms, very reasonably priced & excellent value   With quality better than most 3 star hotels ^ would be perfect were it not for the impossible to work out light controls & shower as mentioned by several previously.

The hotel is situated 300m from Plaza Espanya.

We stayed here as part of our 20th anniversary trip and had mentioned this when we booked, to try and get a nice view of the plaza from our room.

Rooftop-Bar with pool was very nice with look over Plaza Espania.

Wonderful hotel - with fantastic facilities, super helpful staff and all in a central transport hub - getting to all the sights is really easy from Plaza Espana..

The Aerobus from the airport drops you off on the other side of the Plaza so you get off, look around you in awe and there it is - with a huge B on the roof by the pool, shining like a beacon.

but you can still order a drink to the top and have a drink looking over one of the main plazas.

The property is located centrally near Plaza Espana station and near nice restaurants etc.

The hotel was located right on plaza españa so it was very easy to move around the city from there.

The hotel also has a great rooftop pool and is located next to the Plaza d'Espagna so really easy to acces by metro or by Aerobus from the airport.

Big thanks for our upgrade to executive level;room was fantastic and the pool overlooking the plaza is a must.

The hotel is located by Arenas and Plaza España.

Does not expect a life style hotel just a good one place to stay with nice room at a good price.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone who want not expensive hotel with very good standard and location.

BEST DEAL - the best price I found was booking direct on their website.

We got taxis to the familia and parc guell which priced from around 10/15 each.

but for general bar prices in Barcelona, the pricing is good.

Price clearly considers the decadent state of the hotel.

Price compare to the quality level is great.

The price I’ve paid has been deducted from cost of new booking.

Usually hotels of this standard are much more expensive and the staffs attention to detail is exceptional.

Variety of facilities like private mini bar in room,food lounge,roof swimming pool,star bucks coffee shop on ground level and good communication from staff.

Would definitely recommend this hotel, as the quality is far more than the 3-star awarded and the price is very fair for the experience you get.

I would definitely stay here again since you get such a 4 star feel for a 3 star price.

front desk staffs recommended us to nice local restaurants which are authentic and reasonably priced.

It's clean, the food is good and the view at the pool is incredible for the prices.

The roof top pool is amazing, and the rooftop bar is reasonably priced and serves delicious cocktails.

The only downside is that it’s on a very busy road so quite noisy at night time.

Our room was on the 7th floor and overlooked the roundabout, which was quite noisy

The location is noisy, traffic and dustman in the early hours.

but the surrounds aren't, so the noise still comes in.

As it turned out, this worked to our advantage because the garden view room was extremely quiet at night whereas the city view room would likely have been somewhat noisy.

Only downside - no English speaking tv channels and i do like to have some for background noise.

Busy area - light sleepers may need earplugs to block out the early morning street cleaning noise -

On the street side of the hotel, there can be some noise from traffic, while the back side is very quiet.

A lot of road works going on all over Barcelona when we travelled and although we where on the 6th floor it was very noisy from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm even on the Sunday so sleep was poor

No bar or hall area, a bit noisy for rooms above the street.

One minor problem is that when metro passes through, you can feel the vibration

Traffic noise isn’t as bad as people make out.

but the second room, though on the 6th floor, was just as noisy.

If you want a quiet room, choose one that does not look out over the Gran Via.

The only let down was the noise from outside - I get the location

Sometimes we could hear the noise of the underground passing under the hotel.

There is a LOT of noise from the metro and the road, as well as from the hall and elevator.

The only down side was my room was near the road so I could hear the traffic at night,

Rooftop pool and bar was amazing - great place to chill after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was good, only small criticism would be to cover the all the pastries, and the coffee from the machine wasn't great (but I got round that by using the Nescafe sachets with hot water!)

Rooftop pool is a must, shame it shuts at 9pm because you could finish your night sipping Cocktails.

Rooftop pool is pretty cool hearing the buzz of the traffic and people below on Placa d'Espanya.

Rooftop pool and bar a treat too - highly recommend.
