Very clean hotel breakfast was  amazing so much choice  and to have afternoon tea and pastries was a real bonus the  hotel  was very central  for the beach and restaurant and the staff were very helpful to

The afternoon tea service is very welcome and again now includes coffee.

We usually book the Pavilion (annexe) which has large rooms with balcony, tea & coffee making facilities and is accessed via the pool area of the main hotel.

The hotel is really clean and they serve coffee and tea in the afternoon.

free lemonade always available at front, free breakfast til noon each day, and free afternoon tea.

Breakfasts were very good and tea/coffee and cakes were served in the afternoon.

They have a little room by the pool you can shower in, a really great touch, so we enjoyed our day and freshened up later before our flight
- excellent location with some great restaurants and lovely coffee bar up the street 
- good value for money

The only downsides 
- the WiFi seemed variable for the first few days

That was my only quibble about this three-star establishment that offers five-star value: clean, comfortable rooms; the famously expansive breakfast buffet, served until noon; a swimming pool in a cozy private courtyard; afternoon snacks and coffee; a small bar;

The hotel has a lovely feature off afternoon tea and it was ok when the established staff are about

An added bonus was free tea, coffee and delicious pastries every afternoon.

The breakfast buffet is particularly noteworthy; there must be 50 meats, cheeses, salads, hot and cold dishes, breads, coffees, .

The room was clean and they provided a constant provision of coffee, tea and toiletries.

There was only a covered up window which i could not use or open and that made the room very dark.

but when they are not and leave a young girl with a dark haired gentleman in Blue shirts then it’s not good as they are far to busy talking and smoking out the back.

4   Half the room was dark: no table light, the safe hard to see.

The hotel is quite Spanish so quite dark in some areas.

We had booked a superior room in the annex, this year the room was terrible, very dark and dated and a VERY small double and a single bed.

Rooms in the Pavilion annex are rather small and dark.

but hotel is quite dark and dated- the walls in halls and rooms could benefit from a lighter or neutral colour.

501-504 ground floor (not a purpose built hotel) are chilly (April) and dark, No windows with any aspect.

When I entered, I got the impression that it was very old fashioned , very dark wood, and older style furniture ,

Your keycard opens the door, where there is an eerie abandoned lobby with heavy old furniture.

You access the other building by walking through the garden and swimming pool area, using your key card to open the garden door which leads onto the street where the Annex entrance is found.

The entrance door is opened by using your master contact key, which opens your room door and garden door.

my travel companions had a room facing the street and were unable to open their window because of the noise.

Very disappointed to open my curtains and see a window box of dead plants (see photo).

You should also note the hotel opens up the restaurant to the public in the evening, both the nights we used it groups of 10 plus of the same people a group of girls stampede into the restaurant and literally empty the buffet starters, mains,and puddings and take it to there tables so nobody else can eat and everybody including hotel guests had to wait for replenishment which was extremely slow.

Gripes include not having visibility of what type of room you're going to get until you open the door (small/medium/large bedroom; type of bathroom (bath/shower/both); balcony); and the quality of the (albeit optional) buffet dinner service was variable.

but it was too noisy to open the window to sleep if you felt too warm.

Swimming pool and jacuzzi are both lovely for a chilled day,

Our room overlooked the pool which is an internal courtyard and was very quiet.

We had a room with a balcony so were able to sit out ,there is a small pool too and a hot tub .

The Galeon is altogether a more upmarket place with its Pavilion annex with jacuzzi on the roof, its shady swimming pool and sumptuous breakfast buffet.

Outside there is a pool area and jacuzzi and a small bar is inside.

The pool and jacuzzi were welcomed on the hot days!

Close to everything, excellent service and idyllic little pool area.

A nice little pool with a really relaxed atmosphare.

The highlights had to be the rooftop solarium with “plunge pool” which was a welcome relief on the very hot afternoons!

There is a vast selection of hot and cold foods everything you could ever ask for and more.

It is splendidly located in Sitges old town amidst all the shops, cafes and restaurants, just a short walk to the beach and has a huge Mercadona supermarket just round the corner.

The quality and quantity of the food was sublime.

though to sample the restaurants and bars of Sitges.

Breakfast was delicious and well equipped with everything you could possibly want to eat - go for the sweet pastries they were amazing!!

As everyone mentions the breakfast ( until 12) is legendary and now has 3 different coffee machines and a large selection of teas for every taste, loved the egg menu too.

Chilled cava and a huge array of delicious food offerings, both hot and cold.

We saved a fortune on evening meals as we didn’t really eat a lot after that!

lots of good restaurants and clubs just minutes away.

Location, cleanliness, staff, food everything was 5/5 and will be back here on my next visit to Sitges.

I booked the smallest single room due to the low price and it was overall good value.

The bed in our room was comfortable and enormous.

We had the good fortune to be relocated from its sister hotel, El Cid, to a gorgeous attic room with a roof terrace at the Hotel Galeon -- all for the same price.

I stopped in a balcony room in the main building, plenty of space fantastic shower and moderately sized fridge with free bottles of water, kettle and safe.

Lovely friendly hotel spotlessly clean comfortable room ,excellent breakfast so much choice,vending machine outside room .proffesional  staff especially Roberto on reception close to bus stop and train station in centre of stiges.

One room near the entrance had been turned into a library where you can leave and take unwanted books.

Spent 4 nights in this wonderful hotel what a pleasure all very professional and competent From rooms to staff and all I encountered on my visit can’t  wait to get back there again you were all wonderful and helpful Thanks Philip

Everything is clean and staff are friendly, this  is a great place to stay especially if you don’t want to splash out too much.

Rooms were clean, was two days towels didn’t get replaced so pack your own in case, but very happy with the experience overall 

5 minute walk from the beach, not suitable for sandcastles and I would recommend beach shoes for the little ones as it’s very chunky and the sea is very stoney - crocs did us wonders otherwise she wouldn’t of enjoyed it

They wanted a hotel within their budget (~£600), that was All Inclusive and was close to a beach.

- Hotel is in a nice town and only 5 minutes’ walk to beach and train station.

Pineda de mar is fairly quiet, it as a nice beach and a few shops

The hotel was kept very clean and all staff was always cleaning, the  beach is 5 minutes walk, local shop close by which was handy.

Alot of guests go to the beach (which is just a 5 min walk away) and others are happy to sit under the canopy by the bar in the sun, we did this a few times.

but it’s close to Barcelona and the beach.

- the hotel was 5 min walk to beach and town and train station
- they have free paddle boarding and kayaking at the beach
- the entertainment staff were brilliant with kids  mine were so sad to leave them.

Guests on inclusive package get a hours free access to the water sports centre on the nearby beach I took a sea kayak out and had a lovely time.

Location is great short walk to the beach or to the square where there are a number of bars and restaurants, you can get the main train into Barcelona with return for 11 euros or I would recommend getting the main train (4.80 return) or the kids train (5 euro return) into Calella where there's lots of shopping to do or plenty of places to eat.

The beach is shingle tho so if u have beach shoes it’s worth taking them.

The village is so lovely,  the hotel is max 10 min from the beach, train station and village square.

Less than 5 min walk to lovely beach and town centre.

Location:
The hotel is situated with short walks to the promenade, beach and train station, which can take you to other towns and Barcelona, and also the main squares where you will be greeted by ample shops, supermarkets, opticians, cafes at great prices and sometimes market stalls and a decent sized children's play area.

but breakfast is until 10 so it’s an hour wait, some bits aren’t included but it’s things like frozen coffee, cocktails & branded ice creams 

Pools are cold and unheated but we arrived just after a storm so would be absolutely fine in summer and they did get better after a day or two.

Food was horrible (worst I've had in a 4star hotel) cold, bland, burnt pizza and i never want to see a jelly or a moose dessert ever again after eating it for a whole week, it was so boring.

COLD MILK by the tea and coffee facilities .

The pool is a little cold- kids didn’t seem to mind.

Just returned from a weeks holiday at this hotel, this is our second time we have been here and the last  it’s definitely gone down hill since last year our room was  small and had no sun on the balcony all day  so never sat out on it , I found the bar staff miserable  and the drinks very weak  they just fill the glass with ice  and very little alcohol, food repetitive and always cold sorry to be negative

At this time of year all pools cold and get a bit of getting used to.

but the food was bland and barely warm some of it cold, this is the only all inclusive hotel I have ever known that the bacon at breakfast is restricted to 2 pieces per person, the young girl serving it looked as though she didn't want to be there.

My biggest negative would be the cold pools

Sunbeds round the splash pool were took us pretty quick and the water there was so cold, the other pool I preferred it was easier to get a bed, had the sun most of the day and was slightly warmer water.

I personally couldn’t even stomach the chips they where like sticky cold sweets.

I’m not a fan of being cold at all and I’m not that bothered about going in the pools

Customer service on checking in was awful the male receptionist was rude and didn’t explain how to get to the room or anything .Food was bland Often cold and menu

Every night there is something different,I didn't experience cold food unless I got a salad, maybe the negative reviews on here the people were expecting the salad buffet to be hot??

Many people have mentioned the ice cold pool - even in 32 degree heat which we had the pool was freezing - that's no exaggeration - it's not really not somewhere to stay for long, which was a shame for both adults and kids.

although It is true that the food was quite cold at times and I am not usually particular about very hot food.

We had a great holiday, the weather was lovely and the hotel is great. The staff are really nice and helpful, the pool was big (and freezing!)

Occasionally they had to queue for drinks, they managed to get sunbeds and enjoyed the adult pool daily (which did have the odd child in it).

- Multiple pools and sun loungers available at all times of day.

They take the towels after the whole day and most guests will never get a chance to spend time by the pool.

The staff cannot do enough to help you, the children were entertained every day and the pools were wonderful.

Lovely pools, good children's entertainment.

Pools are nice with slides in one and the other for older people.

I recommend buying some swimming shoes as my daughter cut her toes in the baby pool!

The kids love the water slides and yes everyone does queue for sun beds around the splash pool

We have just returned from 1 weeks holiday with 3 adults and 5 children, Food was great no complaints from any of the children, pools and slides was great fun and a nice temperature, the lifeguards was very attentive and we felt our children was safe.

Positives; pool areas nice, children loved the splash pool.

The pools with the slides has a heigh restriction so if  you’re not above that it they wont let you on.

The positives:- Entertainment for kids is good I’m here with my granddaughter who is 3, cleanliness is very good throughout the hotel
Negatives:- the food is not great, the meat is poor quality & there is no kids buffet & it takes too long to replace puddings so I gave up waiting, the worse thing I witnessed was the lady serving you cooked chicken was using the same tongs to put raw chicken on the grill big NO NO.

I had previously asked that the hotel be contacted to see if it was suitable for someone with poor mobility and told that it was.

Very poor cocktail choice you could only have 3 or 4 and would have to pay for any other.

Entertainment very poor in evenings to entertain adults and older children.

Entertainment was poor and it's inside on the tinest of area's 

There isn't much around the hotel 1 shop that sells cigarettes and it's closed all day Sunday.

but I think it could do with a shake up tbh as it was poor compared to many other places I've stayed in.

I travelled with my wife and 2 young kids aged 3-5 and we found it hard to keep the kids entertained, the pools are freezing, so you end up in the poor games room where your spending a fortune.

On arrival, I had been very upset over my poor elderly father,
He had to go into a care home, I was stressed and wanted to cancel the holiday,

The entertainment I feel was very poor and I often felt very board most nyts that I spent it in my room.

don’t expect web surfing too much, signal better around the reception

No information on arrival what is where and what's is the price, no info where you can find the info board and when you can sign for excursions, limited space available so find out and sign quick otherwise you will missed, poor organization of things, and if you want do something you will have to make sure you get things by asking, looking for a lists etc.

Room sizes and facilities in rooms let this hotel down (not of a 4 star standard) and reception very poor at resolving issues.

We was given incorrect information and ended up taking a taxi which cost over £100 !!

We were told there were no available rooms to move us BUT then told if we paid over 10 Euro extra per night we could be upgraded!!!

So you have to pay for drinks and food from 11am check out?

Ice-creams and ice pops for all inclusive were boring and very cheap quality, even my kids didn't like them.

We asked to be changed in to a bigger room and told it will cost another 25 euros per person per night.

The entertainment staff are phenomenal and whatever they get paid, is not enough.

Also one of the only places I know that you have to pay for a lot of the stuff when it’s all inclusive.

but for a cheap deal you can't complain too much.

When there’s 20 people in a queue for a drink, what you’ve actually paid for when you booked your holiday, it kinda leaves you feeling exhausted by it all.

however sometimes I paid for water and sometimes I didn't.

but then we got back to the hotel and they refused to pay the €100 fair !!!!! !

Parent should be prepare for extra money for games during stay as all are for extra fee.

If you're coming for a more of a lively environment, like we was hoping, we travelled into Lloret De Mar for the night (Cost us 30 Euros in a taxi each way).

Feedback - maybe consider allowing people who are on nighttime flights to pay extra to have a late check out, we were told we could do this

Sitting here now for the price paid and such short notice I've not got much to grumble about.

as were the drinks on the AI, nothing watered down or cheap tasting.

also AI doesn’t start till 11.  and finishes at 11..but bar stays open just have to pay.

you cant get a drink until 11am and it ends and 11pm to which you have to pay If you want more drinks!

but it’s just wear and tear, a lot of the tile are rubber so works better for the lids

Food wise it’s okay, not the greatest but it was decent, but you definitely get a good go considering the price, was hard with a fussy child but they had lots of things like pizza pasta chips etc for them to eat.

The water rides are very good

The food is diabolical, reduced to eating chips each meal because the variety and quality is appalling

Not a great deal in the local area so choices are limited

Perhaps going in September was quieter as they found the staff very helpful (especially when their return flight was cancelled due to the French traffic control strike), the hotel clean, food nice and plenty of choice and the overall "all inclusive" experience fine.

The food that was available to us was hot and tasted reasonably nice.

Food in restaurant didn’t really cater for children should of been chicken nuggets fish fingers on every evening.

however the buffet breakfast and lunch so far have been good.

We was happy that no food was served outside as there was no flies while sunbathing!

What this place is great it lacks in other places

Rooms are compact

but didn’t get the room safe for free as it stated on the website (it was 4euro per day), but did get the late checkout for free.

After reading the reviews already my family and I Were dreading going here.The hotel rooms were loverly and clean and the bed were comfy.

but we used the terrace outside our room so this wasn’t a issue for us.

Not all bad haha,rooms are clean,tidy and spacious,reception staff are friendly(bar staff are your enemies).

We arrived by 3pm so was given our room staraight away.

We were told where the luggage room and the restaurant was and advised to go back to reception at 2pm to be given our room number.

Overall it’s a overcrowded hotel with them trying to fill every single room

The evening entertainment wasn’t very good and the room where it’s held was so hot , I don’t think it had air con or if it did it wasn’t very good.

The hotel put notices that all the towels left to 'reserve' sunbeds (before 10:30 I think) will be removed by staff,

however, is only followed until 10am, then you can leave your towel on a lounger all day while not even being at the hotel and it won’t be removed.

This happened when we stayed in 2019 and we saw it happening last week - we also saw what happens when people don't know the rules and get very angry at their towels being removed!!

There are signs up asking people not to do this,

Electricity turns off to the rooms when you remove the card so you can't charge your devices while out which also turns off the air conditioning very poor in my opinion.

The pool no inflatables allowed at short notice.

There are the usual issues around bagging them, while we were there the hotel introduced longer pool hours, and threatened to remove towels after 30 mins of no occupancy

The downside to the hotel is we were in a room with my wife and two daughters and the room was tiny for four people very claustrophobic so if you want space maybe get an upgrade because some people wouldn’t be happy having that size room at four star? Although it’s a grey area regarding sunbed reservations, your sunbeds will be removed which I can understand
