The hotel is in a fabulous location for restaurants and attractions.

Service is 5 stars, hotel is 4.5 stars, rooftop bar 5 stars, location 6 stars.

It is well located across from the harbour, it is clean, has lovely and large rooms, had a king size comfortable bed with good pillows and nice linens, and we fully recommend it.

The hotel is in a lovely position near to Port Vell and there are many good restaurants nearby.

The location is fine with a terrific roof top bar overlooking the harbor.

The hotel is in a well maintained old heritage building, in a perfect location between the gothic quarter and the water front/beaches.

The location of this hotel is great - walking distance to beach, on the edge of the Gothic district, close to Picasso museum, Barcelona cathedral, walking distance to La Sagrada (longer walk),  close to Metro trains and tons of shopping,  bars and restaurants.

It has good gym facilities and a lovely rooftop bar and restaurant.

The staff at the restaurant remembered us.

Enrico, the concierge gave us a thorough list of Italian restaurant recommendations also!

Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant to the people who cleaned the rooms were extremely polite and accommodating.

Plus making it easy to organize transfers, restaurant etc.

And provided plenty of restaurant recommendations that we loved.

The assisted me with fresh flowers for my guests rooms, we had a private dinner on the terrazza, they offered to help our group call taxis when needed, etc.

Particularly the roof terrace restaurant is a must see, perfect views and very good food.

The staff are fantastic, the hotel itself stunning, and effect food and the rooftop, wow!

Good restaurants were everywhere and the staff was so friendly and helpful when our bags got delayed a day.

We really loved the outdoor restaurant on the 6th floor.

Staff on front desk and roof top restaurant are super nice and helpful.

This place feels quite new from the lobby to the room.

Family room was very spacious- 2 proper beds for the children.

However the pools are hilariously small and any room located near the service elevator is probably pretty noisy in the morning.

But our room was small, with no view, the window overlooked an alley and had a curtain pulled shut for privacy, which made the whole room dark.

Only disappointment, was the room was a little small for the price paid - not like those pictures.

The hotel is small and only has 30 rooms.

The hotel offered a room for three adults and a fair rate (though the room was a bit small and had limited drawer/closet space.

Our room was very small and felt congested.

If you get a high room and a small tree you are set!!

The rooms are small and very dark with just a small glass door for light and you can see the man in his bed opposite in the run down apartments.

The room we had was tiny and with a view straight into the neighbours flat.

As far as arriving and departing, we were able to leave our bags with the concierge when we arrived far too early to check in.

Staff was always at hand to help with luggage , hail a taxi , help with getting around the city !

The reception staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

The hotel is great particularly the staff.

We were so warmly greeted by Emilio and during our four days stay, he was a continual resource.

Breakfast was delightful- both attendants were wonderfully helpful.

The reception team are exceptional, especially Enrico, who went above and beyond to make our stay an absolute pleasure.

Immediately on arrival, we were welcomed by Ruben and Mar.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, always happy.

All hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

There is music late at night on the roof and noise in the street,

but we were on the first floor, which was a bit noisy from street and sidewalk traffic.

Our room was very nice even facing the busy road and could hear noise,

The only negative would be that the front rooms facing the street can be noisy, however I knew this would be the case,

There was a very narrow balcony with the only room to stand with no seeds or table there was a very narrow balcony with only room to stand with no seats or table However as I mentioned above we could not open this door at night due to the road noise.

However the double glazing blocked completely all sound from the street.

The only thing I would change is to stay on a higher floor next time (I was on the 2nd floor), as the noise from the street below me carried into my room when trying to sleep my last night.

though we overlooked a sometimes busy street we barely heard any street noise with the dual windows.

Our room was unfortunately located above that street which was very noisy at night

Although we were warned that night noise is high in Barcelona we would have wished that our room would have been more protected from street noise which never seemed to stop

We were on the second floor facing the street so it got a little noisy at times.

but the glazing meant that we couldn't hear the noise from the road at all.

If you put two suitcases on the ground then you don't have much space to walk at all. But my biggest issue was the noise from the street (Barcelona is loud everywhere!)

Lower floors I expect suffer from some street noise later as the bars stay open until the early hours

The location for us was perfect.

Ask for a sea view room as the rooms on street can be quite noisy.

.. forward facing rooms get some road noise and unless you are on the top floor, the trees obscure the views of the marina.

Nice balcony/sitting area just outside our door, overlooking the lobby and out at the moored boats.

Large clean rooms, quiet property, beautiful rooftop and wonderful views I cannot say enough good things about this Hotel and its staff.

The rooftop bar and dipping pools are amazing with sweeping views of the yacht harbor, ocean in distance, gondolas, etc.

The roof terrace/pool and bar area had great views over the marina definitely worth a visit.

The hotel staff were excellent, the hotel food was excellent, the hotel itself was excellent and very nice and clean, the hotel rooftop bar was an excellent touch with a great view.

This time we got room no 11 with a nice view to the harbour,

Our waterfront facing room had double pane windows so very quiet at night, even with fun loving groups walking by at all hours.

I chose this hotel for a one night stay prior to a cruise because of its location near the port and old town and also the positive reviews.

Overall the hotel and hotel staff are just amazing - friendly, professional, accommodating, and the location and nice rooms are an extra treat.

As for location, it is right beyond the Gothic Quarter which is a treasure to explore.

The location is perfect, on the edge of the gothic quarter and adjacent to Port Vell, so within easy walking distance of the main attractions.

The hotel itself is in a great location walking distance to lots of great restaurants, bars, shops and the waterfront.

The rooms are spacious and the location is perfect.

We also had dinner at Restaurante Informal.

The restaurant is a great place for breakfast, and the Breakfast / Lunch dining manager Sandra gets a special mention - a gracious and helpful hostess, she sets the standard for great service.

While we did not dine at the on-site restaurant (Rooftop) which is supposed to be fantastic, we did enjoy the roof top bar area.

The staff are attentive, polite and they provided us with great recommendations on restaurants and sites to visit.

She was also  very helpful with giving us recommendations on restaurants   The service at the restaurant, Informal, was also very good and we enjoyed the food and great view.

Their customer service, the hotel, the rooftop bar, the restaurants, the room service and the food are 10/10.

Serras Barcelona has a fantastic rooftop restaurant with tremendous views.

The Informal restaurant was also exceptional.

It was a great location, great, helpful staff, great accomodations, great restaurant.

The gym was great for a workout, the terrace upstairs was convenient for a quick drink and tapas, and the breakfast was top notch.

They helped with transfers, dinner reservations and a birthday surprise.

We were especially impressed by Sandra, the restaurant manager, who went above and beyond to help when our daughter became ill. We will always remember her kindness and professionalism.

Young smart dedicated staff, like Sandra acting as the perfect host, or Carla welcoming you to the hotel, giving you directions and making sure you can eat out at the best possible restaurant.

Hats off to all of the front staff that gave us such great service and in particular Sandra in the restaurant was amazing.

Silent hotel near all artworks of Barcelona - friendly attentive staff - food and drinks from breakfast to diner were of highest quality served by professionals - room is very nice organised with efficient use of all available place.

The Rooftop Restaurant is top notch-so good that we consider it a destination itself-our meals, wine selection, and cocktails have been absolutely delicious!

We found the rooftop bar a couple of years ago --it's one of the best, if you can't stay in the hotel, at least check out the rooftop bar.

We especially appreciated all of the amenities in the room and felt completely at home!

Close to everything, the rooms are stylish, very quiet and nicely furnished.

Rooms are nice and I could relax there very well.

The room was decent size, very comfortable and the soundproofing was great.

Here check-in is a comfortable affair, seated in the light airy reception area, sipping fine cava, and enjoying a chocolate treat, The treats continued when we got to the room as it was my husbands birthday with welcome birthday cake and a bottle of Cava and a hand written note from Carla Serra.

The rooms were so sound proof this wasn’t an issue at all and the road wasn’t that busy.

Rooms on main boulevard were quiet with double windows.

but there are plenty areas for lounging outside of your spacious room, and all of the areas have an upscale feel to them.

pretentious water saving sink with no facility to hold water.could only get hot water out unless the water was left to run for ages negating the original design to save water.An expensive,small room with the only view from the window of a small alley.
