Very easily accessible by metro and close to a beautiful beach!

Located in a good spot, walking distance to the beach, lots of restaurants and bars and 2 metro stations, there is a bus stop and a taxi rank outside.

Stayed 3 nights very close to the beach, metro station & a bus stop nearby.

Really well served by metro, bus and a short walk to the trams.

The location is great, close to beach, at the Rambla and close to metro.

Metro stop is a few mins walk also which is good.

The location of this place is ok.  It’s way form the hustle and bustle of the city which is only a few stops away on the metro.

Great hotel in a good location near to the Metro with a few good restaurants around.

The local shops, tubes and buses make this a brilliant location and without being in the hustle bustle centre.

the location is excellent for metro, bars and restaurants will probably stay there again

Great location if your visiting Barcelona ..10 minute stroll to the beautiful beach and a five minute walk to the metro and 5 stops down the line and your in the centre of the city..

On a positive only 5 mins walk from the metro station.

I like this hotel, it is near the beach and alao metro. especially staff are so friendly, the girl named katy in cafeteria is perfect , caring, always smiling and happy 😍 ( She is from georgia 🥰🤩 )

The staff were friendly and the hotel is location a 5 minute walk to the metro station.

City center is 15 minutes far away if you go by metro.

It was a nice, modern hotel in a good location, near the metro and the beach.

Quiet surrounding, well communicated (metro, taxi, bus) not far away form hotel, and prices are more than affordable.

Hotel a couple of minutes from Llacuna metro which is just 5 stops from centre.

Placed close to Metro, had some nice rooms and a great breakfast with all kinds of different tings.

Also the room are not so big and without wardrobe.

There is a wall rack for hanging clothes and a chair/ desk

but no storage apart from a couple of hangers on the wall.

There were only some hangers and a shelf, and that was it.

Shower not good, no closet, no blankets, no dryer, no wifi, no fridge, no english audio on the TV.

No closets, small table that was enough for the chargers and toiletries bags.

Do watch out for pickpockets, my purse was very nearly taken from my handbag as I was putting my ticket in the barrier at Llucana station (nearest one to the hotel) the chap was hanging around the machine where tickets are purchased and saw me get my purse out of my bag.

There was a small rail with hangers for hanging clothes, and one small open shelf above this, at high level,

: there wasn’t even a wardrobe or for god's sake there wasn’t even a toilet brush!

Bad: Lack of minibar, wardrobe, temperature in room just from 22 to 24 celcius and window locked.

there is only a coat closet without doors.

Six coat hangers between you all and no other storage.

+ air conditioning 
- wifi is free only in the lobby
- there is no closet in the room
- you can't open window in room

but was workable with shelves and hanging area.

but Travelodge's idea of replacing draws and wardrobes with one shelf and half size hanging rail is yet to be praised.

Be wary of security as well, unlocked stairwells, maids enter your room even if Do not Disturb sign is hanging.

The hotel room is very basic, no wardrobe, no safe, no tea or coffee making facilities,

We tried to call my phone and a Spanish man picks up.

The room was fairly basic - no telephone, fridge/mini bar, safe -

The window was small and had a plastic curtain, it certainly had the prison cell realness feel to it.

there was also no telephone in the room, so if you needed help from the reception you should go down there.

but that’s it, one plug near the desk and one plug at one side of the bed, so if you like your phone charging at the side of you, one of you is going to need a very long cable!

What happens the day we supposed to leave the hotel we had to argue with staff at front desk and  and then we have Been threatened by Manager of the hotel saying to uss That he will touch our staff and also call the Police and he did this in 11:00 clock even before check out time which was 14:00.

but we only noticed it at the airport and reached the hotel through phone.

No phone in the room, so we had to try and dry off and go down to stand in line in the lobby just to get towels.

but somehow my mobile device remained connected even in the room.

The rooms have no telephone, I dont usually mind about this,

Speaking of walking, there was no phone in the room for communication to the front desk

Room has no safe or drawer, if you need a hair drier or iron and an ironing board you need to go to front desk and leave a deposit and carry it up to your room because rooms don't have phones in them.

No room service, no phone inside the room, simple breakfast, parking lot without partnership with hotel, average staff, room without safe locker.

but makes you enjoy Barcelona without the need to be always on your phone!

The only downfall is no phone in the room and when on a high floor having to go to reception for requests.

The paella was awful, swimming in oil, crunchy rice, 1 prawn, 1squid ring, 1 small piece of chicken.

However I was booked under the GSM Mobile World Conference from the 20th at a much higher rate 3 TIMES more expensive!!!

Had my passport and mobile phone stolen mid week from the hotel cafeteria area,

so very bad 
2- Check in at 3:00 pm with no availability for early check in so we waited in lobby since 9:00 am 
3- No Telephone in room to call reception or room service or other rooms 
4- No Facilities in rooms by any mean

My bed was made up 3 times on my second day which is completely pointless the poor cleaners, no need for it.

All areas, including my room, had very poor air conditioning and you notice this especially during hot and very humid summer days in BCN.

Despite of the poor check-in the rest was not OK.

Don't spend 15 euro for a poor quality breakfast,

but a poor hotel in general for its price.

No fridge, hairdryer required a deposit and wifi only work occasionally in the lobby - you had to pay if you wanted poor wifi in the bedroom too.

Not sure what was happening in Barcelona over that period, maybe it was FCB's last game of the season or just poor planning from my side,

Customer  service poor as no help in moving 4 suitcases they just look and tell you  to move it by yourself.

although there was plenty to eat and represented good value the bacon and sausage was poor it does remind me of breakfast in Travelodge in the uk when they first started doing them and are now to a good standard so hopefully this can be improved overall a good stay

The hotel is quite far from anything decent, poor wifi and there always seemed to be a queue at reception which is very helpful (not).

We were only looking for someone to sleep so this hotel was well suited to our needs.

The lobby is crowded with people using the poor free wifi.

The cooked element of the 7.5 Euro buffet breakfast was poor

but poor wifi in lobby and charge for in room wifi.

Rooms are poor and service is unpleasant.

We had an early leave and was told to ask for a picknic bag which was very poor.

Stay here twice a year and cannot fault in any way .Great location ,area absolutely superb if your looking to live the Spanish way , relaxing and close to beach ,restaurants and metro .staff are great and have no complaints ,always attentive .

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights as we love the area around it, full of bars and restaurants.

The hotel is near beach and in the middle of city where the street full of shops restaurants bars and cafés

Air conditioning almost non existent, good location to beach and local restaurants,

but the location is good, 100 meters from the rambla, many options to eat close by, the neighborhood is really nice and but station is just in front of the hotel.

Her work was professional and also she gave us good advices about restaurants.

You can also find all necessary amenities (supermarket, drugstores, restaurants, etc) just around the block.

Close to the  beach  area  and so many cozy restaurants around.

There are many restaurants and bars just adjacent on a promenade.

The Food

The receptionist was very helpful and provided lots of useful information about the current situation He managed to rustle up dinner and breakfast, despite limited availability of potions.

Better off taking a stroll around the neighbourhood to one of the cafes and enjoy a glorious pastry or bread.

Have stayed at Poblenou before, it's handy for public transport and restaurants.

In the end he gave me the room i originally booked.

Very good location near the second local rambla, nice room & cleaning service

The air con itself (when on) isn’t that good and the room would just feel warm most of the time.

The rooms are tidy and clean, nice smelling, bedding are super clean  and nice smelling.

but inside of the room, everything was really clean and ok. The location is super, reception team was helpful and polite for us, maybe we are the lucky ones)

Everything worked and the room was well cleaned everyday.

The room was clean and like all Travel lodges basic in decor.

I booked direct so I got Wi-Fi in the room which was super fast, at no extra cost.

The room was quite nice, more than what we expected, and the staff were extremely friendly and nice, unlike the Paxton.

Rooms were cleaned great and all workers want to do it well.

The hotel offers a good wifi service, an amazing breakfast, and the room has everything you need (plus air conditioning).

The room was perfectly spotless and had wonderful internet.

The room did feel clean and well serviced so we were happy with that.

As always with Travelodge, the room was immaculate and comfortable.

The only thing which lacked was WI-Fi in our room so we had to go down to the lobby if we wanted free internet.

The wifi in the rooms was charged extra too.

There is no wifi in the room, only at the reception.

But it's pricey for the bare-bone room you get: 100 euros with no wifi in room.

I payed for WiFi in my room €3.90 for 24 hours, just another way for the hotel to make money,

We paid for the WiFi in our room, don't really understand why this isn't included in room rate as its a given to have WiFi nowadays.

The wifi in the room was very slow it only works in the lobby and lobby is small and crowded.

Travelodge is a basic hotel, no frills, no Wi-Fi in the room (unless you pay extra), there's nothing wrong with it

However you need to pay a fee to use wireless internet in your room.

but I believe that you have to pay to get wifi in the rooms.

pity they don't have free coffee in the room and wifi in lobby area is free

And  there is a charge for wi-fi in room !

The bad things- no wifi in the room (for extra 3,9eur per day you can get it..) and every single day the same breakfast..

If traveling to Barcelona I would definitely suggest visiting La Rambla and the magic fountain show!

Just a 10 min walk from the hotel gets you to the station from where the trains run directly in to Barcelona.

Only a half hour walk along a lovely beach to the Primavera site and the city centre being the same distance in the other direction.

Walking to the beach is about 5 minutes and with the subway you’re able to be anywhere so fast!

Within 10 minutes of going for a walk, we were walking alongside the beach watching people play volleyball, skateboarding, cycling, and rollerblading at 9pm at night.

If you come out of the hotel and turn right, a very short walk down and you’re there.

Well located with lots of places to eat all around. Easy to walk into Barcelona from here (we like walking!)

Great location (10 min walk from the sea).

The metro train service is 5 min walk away which took as directly to the port.

The beach and shopping centres are a short walk away.

and very comfortable.The location is very good, 8mins walk from beach, near a metro station that can take you to the centre in a matter of minutes.

The Poblenou area felt welcoming, alive and full of positivity.There are two Metro stops a short walk away, and excellent bus services, all of which were air conditioned.

It has many buses stopping round there, that can take you to the Centre, or the Bus Turistic, which was great for sightseeing.

Metro was an easy 2 minute walk away and the hotel is surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops and a shopping centre.

Nice hotel with great location close to buses and metro.

Location is super nice and the metro stop Espanya is just beside the hotel.

The metro is a few steps away and also Aerobus stops there.

Not even a stone's throw away from the Metro, Bus routes and taxis and very close to Fira Exhibition Centre.

The location is perfect with a metro station a 2 minute walk away which can take you everywhere you need to go, and is super easy to use!

The location is easy to access with the airport bus,

There is also metro stations just across the road making it easy to get anywhere in the city and a bus to and from the airport.

Many if the city's features accessible either by foot or by the nearby metro.

The hop on hop off bus is also around the corner.

So glad we stayed here.It was minutes from the Metro Station, a shopping Centre, and great restaurants.

Located in the center near Plaza Espanya, metro really close.

All tourist location is nearby hotel like 10-20 min in metro and 25-30min in bus.

It is also less than a 5 minute walk from a metro station, and just a little further the Magic Fountain is Montjuïc, which we visited multiple times during our stay for such a special experience.

All major attractions are either within walking distance or just a few Metro stops away.

but it is at biking distance (you can hire at the opposite of the hotel - ideal to stay above ground instead of taking metros in sunny Barcelona) and public transportation nearly at the door

Good location, just a few metro stops from Las Rambla and close to the Plaza D’Spain metro station.

Decent location close to the metro with places to eat nearby.

Plenty of places nearby to eat and drink, and with metro and buses easily accessible to rest of city.

but was welcome during our very warm visit and was never very busy.

Pool area is beautiful and never too busy.

but a short distance from the really busy city centre.

The hotel never felt busy and there was no trouble getting a seat at breakfast or at the bar upstairs.

Just a note, petty thieves are quite common in a lot of busy tourist areas in Barcelona.

We did not have any meals at B Hotel simply because of numerous choices in the city and a busy sight seeing schedule.

but the bathroom is very open so it kind of flooded one time), the plug connection which is on the other side of the night table (small detail) and the hotel is located to a big busy street so it can be a little bit rumourous at night (but totally didn't disturb us!)

The only downside of the hotel is that lower level rooms facing the main street are a bit noisy - so choose either an upper level room or one not directly facing the busy boulevard in front of the hotel.

Only downside is the noise from the street, this cant be helped in a busy city

At times a bit noisy due to a busy road and subway line right under the hotel.

There were sirens all through the night and it's a very busy road.

Our room was on the busy side of the hotel which faced the main street.

I would point out that a light sleeper may struggle here as this is a very busy part of the city with a metro line directly below,

Only gripe would be that the shower overflowed the bath and caused some flooding and the pool area got very busy and difficult to get a space.

but got really busy so sometimes struggled to get sun lounger.

Rooftop pool was always busy, is quite small

although was not very light as we had walls from other parts of the building outside our window it meant that it was really quiet which is always a bonus when you want a good nights sleep after a busy day of sight seeing.

The location is also brilliant if you want to watch the magical dancing fountains too!

Location of hotel was perfect as we chose to walk to all the sights.

Location is perfect 15 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes from the beach and walking distance to a large shopping center and many bars restaurants.

Very nice few days spent, location good and peaceful nights, really nice pool on roof.

Very good hotel and spectacular pool, the perfect location to enjoy Barcelona, very professional staff and full of interesting places around, museums, shops, the sea in 20 minutes.

We always stay at B-Hotel because the staff is really friendly, the rooms are very clean, breakfast is super and it is well located next to the Plaza Espanya with lots of restaurants, bars and the Arenea Shopping Center.

Amazing location with access to metro, local shops, sites and places to eat and drink.

The location is perfect so you can walk away from many city center points.

The most accomodating friendly staff in a beautiful hotel centrally located.

but only a thin sliding door for audible privacy.

Maybe, it's just that I'm an American, accustomed to a certain amount of privacy and that is not offered in B-Hotels.

but have electronic blinds you can adjust for privacy.

The bathroom is a little lacking in sound privacy, with dark blue glass doors that stop short of closing by a couple of inches.

but lack of privacy when not traveling with your partner.

There is a glass screen separating the bathroom from the bedroom, which have attracted comments regarding lack of privacy

It wasn't much of a problem for us despite the lack of privacy

Even after 23 years of marriage we all like just a little privacy.

but don't worry there are electric blinds for some privacy.
