Metro 2 mins from door and top shopping precinct at front door.

Very centrally located and 2mins to a metro.

The metro stations are both about a 10 minute walk.

Location is superb, you're in L'Eixample, right between two Gaudi sites and two metro stations.

In addition, the hotel is located about 50 meters from a metro stop, so easy access to everywhere.

There was also a metro station approx 100 metres away.

You can walk to all sorts of attractions and restaurants and the metro is just one block away.

The hotel was in an excellent location beside the metro and the rooms were very spacious.

The location is excellent - on a very glamorous street and right beside the Metro.

Once there, I discovered that 62 is also just a few yards from entrances to the metro and the railway system and a permanant taxi-rank, is set above a major bookshop, and is close to many restaurants, both tourist-oriented and more local in style off the P. de Gràcia itself. Perfect.

The location is central right next to the train station and metro everything is within walking distance!

I bought a T10 ticket which allows you to take the metro or bus for 10 trips and at 10.20 Euros it's a bargain.

The location was about as good as it gets: just  a short walk from Plaza Catalan and La Rambla, between two metro stops and in a district full of great restaurants and bars.

Also hop on hop off bus, metro and buses are right in front of the hotel.

Metro and turistic bus stop is very close.

Also easy walking from the airport bus stop.

There is a stop for the Hop On/Hop Off bus tours close by.

but hallway in between and main door so we could have both our rooms open and walk back and forth.

Negative: A little noisy, small corridors and big heavy entrance door.

but were connected with a private hallway.

You can hear noise from the street below and from other guests and staff in the hallway.

My only complaint is that the walls were fairly thin between the room and the hallway and we could hear other hotel guests walking around early in the morning,

but was 'hiding' at the end of the corridor.

The hallways of our level were hot and stuffy as well, there seemed to be no air circulating on that level at all, it was hot in our room and even hotter getting out of the hotel.

but not from other rooms or the corridor.

however, so those preferring cozy and charming may not like the cool vibe and the slight smell of musk spray in the corridors.

The bathroom doesn't have a proper door - sliding doors so not very private when somebody is in there and in the bedroom the door is a mirror/door that you slide across - this doesn't block any noise out at night from the corridors!

Terribly hot inside the lift and on the corridors.

No breakfast included in the room, You can hear the conversation on the next room, you hear the people walking on the corridor, bathroom are very simple.

The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on next door, the floors are wood in the corridors so you can hear all people traffic and the fixtures feel like they are about to collapse.

the location is right in the golden mile surrounded by posh merchants and restaurants!

Very nice hotel, location is perfect, walking distance to everything, lots of restaurants, coffee and shops, ice cream is just downstairs on the street!

Location is superb, minutes walking to subway stations and all the brand name shopping.

Great location on Passeig de Gracia-surrounded by stores, restaurants, and famous sites within walking distance-yet quiet.

The location was great as it was close to tremendous shopping, walking distance to Las Ramblas (but away from the crazy crowds), down the street from Placa de Catalunya, and close to plenty of restaurants.

(I wish I have better vocabularies to describe the room better) The location was even better, very close to subway and in the middle of Passage de Gracia, yet quite at night.

The hotel itself sits in the perfect location on Passeig de gracia.

Really nice 4* hotel in central Barcelona, on main shopping street close to Plaza de Catalunya, with plenty of places to eat nearby (El Nacional is down the road and well worth a visit).

We had a triple room which was roomy and sufficient for 3 people.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean!

The wheelchair accessable room was second to none including a private terrace.

Nice room with comfortable bed, shower is amazing, make me so relax after a long hot day!

They upgraded my room to one with a nice patio and was great!

Room was large and clean and included mini fridge.

I was welcomed with some cheese and grapes in the room.

The staff, room, and amenities were superb and top-notch.

The room and bathroom were clean and spacious.

If the room is available and you are hesitating, book it.

The room,  the staff, food, localization, etc is 5/5.

The interior design is modern and chic, the rooms are spotlessly clean.

The tow rooms can lock separately for privacy if needed.

We both had spacious family rooms, which are hard to find in European cities.

Rooms are decorated with exquisite taste; staff super friendly.

The room was very nice, clean, spacious and comfortable.

The only negative I could say, was that the suite sits literally outside the lift shaft. The lift being super fast (great when you want to get to breaky/outside or to your room!)

The wobbly sliding glass shower frame was also concerning, especially since it did not give you much room to get in and out with the toilet so close to it.

There are two drawbacks
- only "sliding" glass door to bathroom means almost no privacy.

The bathroom shower is more functional that we have experienced elsewhere in our travels, with a sliding door that keeps the room from flooding.

Sliding doors for everything which may seem heavy if you have any mobility limitations.

I heard that it's hidden behind the mirrored sliding door!

For example a sliding door for the wardrobe/hand basin would block the TV when slid open so that anyone else in the room could not watch TV.

Thirdly, the shower (which is great) is entered by a sliding door which annoyingly wouldn't stay open when you wanted it to.

The closet has a heavy sliding doors with double mirrors.

We didn't love the bathroom glass sliding door with no lock,

The only other negatives were no kettle - just Nespresso machine which cost 1.5 Euro a pop, a funny sliding wardrobe door which divided the room and got a bit annoying.

Then a closed off toilet room and the shower room, both with a shared sliding door, and the tub.

Breakfast let it down slightly, service was slow and quality of food not the best.

The only thing I would say is that they perhaps could do with another 1 or 2 people serving at breakfast as this could be a little slow,

No robes or slippers, dirty, sticky glasses on the shelf, inside wardrobe was all dusty, slow drains, shower was missing a part & low water pressure meant only a trickle came out.

It will take you only 10 min slow walk from Katalonya Sq.

there are only 2 laptops for shared use that were very slow and there was always a line (probably because they were so slow)

Tip: if coming from the airport, if you take the Aerobus, it's a bit of a walk with luggage, navigating through crowds, from Placa Cataluyna,

The breakfast was buffet style with a good choice of food including breads, cereal, fruit, cheese, ham and cakes.

We stayed 9 nights at the hotel and enjoyed the staff, location and breakfast.

Staff friendly and breakfast with a lot of fresh food and choices.

Loved the rooms, bed, breakfast, quietness etc.

..you couldn't find a better location and to top it all off, make sure you get the breakfast buffet as it was fantastic.

All staff were friendly especially the kitchen staff at breakfast and they even made a little rattle for the baby whilst waiting for his food.

The breakfast area is also nice , relaxing and the quality of food is also  tasty .

The breakfast was great, the location was great, the rooftop terrace was lovely (pool's a little small, though), and the air conditioning worked like a dream once the concierge politely showed me that I had, in fact, been blasting the heater for days.

Breakfast offering was second to none with plenty for all tastes.

We didn’t book breakfast there as there plenty of nearby café’s etc.

Family room was one of the biggest hotel rooms i've ever stayed in.

We stayed at a standard room and is was very nice.

We enjoyed a sangria and headed down to our room.

The only issue we found was after showering there would be a weird sewer-y smell coming from the floor drain next to the toilet (but a little airing out cleared it right up).

but not great quality - horrible coffee and stale rolls.

Breakfast was so-so, don’t expect much.. the odor on the hallway outside the room on 4th floor was a bit stinky..

The only issue we faced was the odor coming from the bathroom ( on rainy days according to the staff!).

Stale, ordinary bread and sub-standard ingredients.

The hallway on the 2nd floor smelled like mildew, thankfully the room didn't.

My only criticism would be the bad smell in the hallways.

Hotel is drab and dreary,hallways smelled like sour milk.

although our corner suite did smell a little - not sure why.

However, there was a very bad smell of pizza the whole time in the bathroom (seemed to come from the Subway around the corner) and their cleaner loves banging on the wall (as loud as she can) from 8am every morning.

Also there was an awful smell of sewage coming up the drain in the floor of the bathroom.

but for me it was so convenient , for the airport bus, getting around etc. .

We were going on a transatlantic cruise after a stay in Barcelona so had lots of luggage and convenience to the bus drop off mattered.

Enjoy Barcelona! Go to the sea, ride a bus, look at the modernist art, eat some churros :)

The staff are always friendly and helpful, and you can leave your luggage in a locked room by reception if you have a later flight home. Location is perfect; literally a couple of minutes from Plaza Catulunya where you can get the airport bus (5.90 Euros single & I swear it was quicker than the taxi we took last time!)

This hotel is in an amazing location as it is right on Las Ramblas, a stone's throw from Plaza Catalunya (where buses stop and many tours begin), and walking distance to many of the city centre's attractions.

This hotel was a 2 minute walk from the airport bus transfer and the same for the hop on hop off tours.

The location was perfect, right on Las Ramblas, as soon as you get off the metro at Catalunya and come off the escalators you can we the hotel straight ahead!

It’s close to all the highlights as well as the airport bus stop and metro train station.
