Very good location if you want to go around with the metro.

Hotel was perfect for a city break and was in a great location close to the metro and bus stops.

So easy it to get to and from airport 20 minute bus ride and the 1st stop and then a 4 minute walk to the hotel.

but bus and bikes after as it was roasting .

but used the metro too, it’s just a few minutes away, you can buy multiple journey tickets.

The hotel was walking distance to the Arenas Mall where there were lots of restaurants on the roof, and it was walking distance to the metro which we took to visit Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera, Las Ramblas Street, and many other sights.

Very close to metro and bus to get around and explore the city.

Perfect location right nesr Arena shopping centre/ tube station and the Placa d'Espanya where the Airport A2 bus and the Hop On Hop Off tour buses stop.

Stops for the Metro and Airport bus are virtually at the front door and the hop on hop off bus also stops here.

The metro is 2 minutes foot distance, and by local bus nr 46 to Barcelona airport.

The hotel is located near a metrostation, near the bus stop  
to the airport, near the the Font Magica area and a large shopping mall.

Great location on Plaza España, very close to a central metro station.

There is a hop on hop off bus stop about a 5 minute walk away.

Metro connection very good (Placa Espanya).

Good location,plenty of restaurants around the hotel,The metro was close by or you could hop on a bus to the city centre.Rooms tastefully decorated & good size & clean & cleaned daily.Reception staff were friendly,we arrived at 11 & our room was ready even tho check-in wasn't until 3,which i was expecting so that was good.

At night and early morning we can also feel the underground metro.

Plenty of 24hr supermarkets by the hotel in case you had forgotten anything (in my case, everything lol),  very close to the Mall, Aerobus stop and a few Metro stops, as well as the fountains.

Great location next to the metro so highly rated all round.

We got taxis to the familia and parc guell which priced from around 10/15 each.

but we visited parc guell, la rambla and barcelonetta beach with no problems.

Staff were also very happy to print of tickets to attractions (Barcelona FC, Park Guell. ).

She was also extra helpful on Sunday morning when we had reservations at Park Guell for 8am to find the metro gates locked at Espanya!

but if you want to see sights such as la sagrada familia or park guell I would recommend a taxi as these are around an hours walk away!

but the park around Park Guell itself is free and is lovely to just wander around.

It was easy to get to Las Ramblas and the beach area as well as the beautiful Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell - all a must when visiting Barcelona!

Would recommend Parc Guell (Lesseps metro station) Views of all of Barcelona!

Overall a fantstic break- don't miss our favourite highlights: Park guell, the beach, Nou Camp, Architecture, tapas, sangria and pleanty of sunshine!

Parc Guell and of course all the Gaudi buildings.

These sites were the highlight of my trip despite seeing the Gaudi Attractions, Barcelona FC stadium and Port Guell areas.

but a must on any visit is the  Parc Guell, Sagrada Famillia and El 4 Gats restaurant.

The location is brilliant - Plaza Espana is perfect and the views from the hotel up to the Palace and Parc Montjuic are perfect.

There are tourist attractions nearby (Parc Monjuic, Olympic stadium etc), and you can walk to the Ramblas in around 20/25 mins.

Air conditioning was great and the rooftop was incredible with a beautiful view to Plaza d' España.

We always stay at B-Hotel because the staff is really friendly, the rooms are very clean, breakfast is super and it is well located next to the Plaza Espanya with lots of restaurants, bars and the Arenea Shopping Center.

The hotel is at the Plaza Espanja and there is metro station almost next to the hotel.

Good location, just a few metro stops from Las Rambla and close to the Plaza D’Spain metro station.

Prime location at Plaza Espanya, clean rooms, very reasonably priced & excellent value   With quality better than most 3 star hotels ^ would be perfect were it not for the impossible to work out light controls & shower as mentioned by several previously.

The hotel is situated 300m from Plaza Espanya.

We stayed here as part of our 20th anniversary trip and had mentioned this when we booked, to try and get a nice view of the plaza from our room.

Rooftop-Bar with pool was very nice with look over Plaza Espania.

Wonderful hotel - with fantastic facilities, super helpful staff and all in a central transport hub - getting to all the sights is really easy from Plaza Espana..

The Aerobus from the airport drops you off on the other side of the Plaza so you get off, look around you in awe and there it is - with a huge B on the roof by the pool, shining like a beacon.

but you can still order a drink to the top and have a drink looking over one of the main plazas.

The property is located centrally near Plaza Espana station and near nice restaurants etc.

The hotel was located right on plaza españa so it was very easy to move around the city from there.

The hotel also has a great rooftop pool and is located next to the Plaza d'Espagna so really easy to acces by metro or by Aerobus from the airport.

Big thanks for our upgrade to executive level;room was fantastic and the pool overlooking the plaza is a must.

The hotel is located by Arenas and Plaza España.

The only downside is that it’s on a very busy road so quite noisy at night time.

Our room was on the 7th floor and overlooked the roundabout, which was quite noisy

The location is noisy, traffic and dustman in the early hours.

but the surrounds aren't, so the noise still comes in.

As it turned out, this worked to our advantage because the garden view room was extremely quiet at night whereas the city view room would likely have been somewhat noisy.

Only downside - no English speaking tv channels and i do like to have some for background noise.

Busy area - light sleepers may need earplugs to block out the early morning street cleaning noise -

On the street side of the hotel, there can be some noise from traffic, while the back side is very quiet.

A lot of road works going on all over Barcelona when we travelled and although we where on the 6th floor it was very noisy from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm even on the Sunday so sleep was poor

No bar or hall area, a bit noisy for rooms above the street.

One minor problem is that when metro passes through, you can feel the vibration

Traffic noise isn’t as bad as people make out.

but the second room, though on the 6th floor, was just as noisy.

If you want a quiet room, choose one that does not look out over the Gran Via.

The only let down was the noise from outside - I get the location

Sometimes we could hear the noise of the underground passing under the hotel.

There is a LOT of noise from the metro and the road, as well as from the hall and elevator.

The only down side was my room was near the road so I could hear the traffic at night,

Rooftop pool and bar was amazing - great place to chill after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was good, only small criticism would be to cover the all the pastries, and the coffee from the machine wasn't great (but I got round that by using the Nescafe sachets with hot water!)

Rooftop pool is a must, shame it shuts at 9pm because you could finish your night sipping Cocktails.

We didn't get a chance to use the awesome roof top pool since the weather was quite cold

Good location and the roof top pool makes this a great spot in summer.

Lovely spacious room, balcony and comfy bed.

Room was a decent size and cleaned everyday, there was a mini bar in the room with soft drinks and alcohol etc.

Wonderful touch was a bottle of Cava in the room on the day of our anniversary, thank you so much for that.

Upon arrival our room was spotless and the hotel was generally clean.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and hotel was always kept clean and tidy.

Ask for Sandra and Tejazvi as they are probably the best of the staff this hotel has (we interacted with others that were not helpful).

We enjoyed a few drinks on the terrace each night - the bar staff were all very friendly.

Lastly all the staff we encountered on our trip were lovely and always ready to help 10/10 trip.

The receptionists who met us upon our arrival were super efficient and even gave great tips about Barcelona.

I just stayed one night at B hotel, I have to say the staff was very friendly, they allowed us early check in, and had a good attitude in general.

I was instructed to contact the hotel again for compensation because "the lady with authority" was allegedly absent during check-out.

Great service with staff who were only too happy to help.

Thank you to the hotel staff for making our stay an enjoyable one.

The staff even surprised us by leaving a tray of cheesecake and berries and a bottle of champagne on ice in our room on the afternoon of my husband's birthday - we had never told them we were celebrating it and can only assume they noticed the date on his passport when we checked in.

Marianne at the front desk was very friendly and sweet, she helped me with several things.

Hotel is very nice, breakfast is wonderful staff very friendly.

Great location very close to the Magic Fountain and about 20 minute walk from
 La Rambla.

It is also less than a 5 minute walk from a metro station, and just a little further the Magic Fountain is Montjuïc, which we visited multiple times during our stay for such a special experience.

It also close to the national museum of of art, which also has the Magic fountain shows each night from 2130.

Placa D’Espanya and the magic fountain are a stones throw away.

We found lots of available public transport even on Christmas Day. Quick walk to the Magic Fountain and lovely central sqare with its fountain lit up at night.Our rooms were  well appointed, lovely bathroom, individual lighting, very comfortable mattress, variety of pillows, toiletries, mini fridge( which we asked to be emptied to store our own goodies bought in the local supermarket.)

I would thoroughly recommend the B Hotel to anyone vising Barcelona and in addition it is in a great location being near the shopping centre and the Magic Fountain

We enjoyed the 15-20min to Las Ramblas, and the Magic Fountain is a short walk away too.

Location is great- so much around to see and do inc the magic fountain, Olympic Park and easy metro ride to the beach and gothic quarter. We requested a city view and were able to access our room from 3pm ( we could’ve had a courtyard facing one earlier

Hotel is also close to the Montjunc attractions such as the MNAC, the Magic Fountain, Poble Espanyol, and the funicular up Montjunc.

Location is perfect right next to a metro stop, Olympic stadium and the magic fountain.

It is also 15 min brisk walk to the Magic Fountain and the Palace.

It is a 5 minute walk from the Magic fountain

The staff are lovely and it is very near to The National Art Gallery and The Magic Fountain display which is so amazing.

Near the Magic Fountain, a restaurant and shopping complex and over looks the Placa D'Espanya, which makes for beautiful views and a good range of places to go right by the hotel.

There is also Las Arenas mall right next door and Montjuic and the Magic Fountain are just a quick walk away.

The hotel is in a fantastic location next to the Bullring shopping centre and the magic fountain.

It was not until the following morning when we asked if the hotel had any tourist information that we where offered a small map only then did we realise that we practically opposite the Barcelona museum of art and the Magic fountain of Montjuic it is also only a few minuits in a taxi to La Rambla, Passeig de Gracia or the Sagrada Familia plus many more beautiful sights.

Hotel situated on plaza  espanya so plenty of shops and restaurants on your doorstep, as well as the magic fountain show.

Our room was OK, the safe was shocking a hole in the wall and advice on leaving valuables in reception is not what you want to hear the moment you arrive, and the curtain across a rail as a make shift wardrobe needs to be improved.

but modern, with a few weird quirks to figure out for lights and shower (the shower is transparent but there is switch by the sink to close the blinds and maintain your dignity)!

The room was great and it didn't take too long to figure out the remote lights and blinds.

but either at the bed or at then entrance to the room and to close the blinds between the batch and living are you need to find buttons above the sink
BREAKFAST - good selection of fruits, cereals, breads, pastries and a few hot items.

but cosy with a HUGE comfy bed - the bathroom did have a window with a blind that we couldn't figure out but it faced out to the side of the room so wasnt a big deal.

We eventually figured out that the controls to shut the blinds for it are by the bathroom mirror.

No matter what country you are in, you are generally able to work out how to operate light switches, faucets, blinds, etc.

but due to the street right in front it is a bit noisy even with closed windows.

There was a venetian blind in the window, But how to close it?

The window between the sleeping room and the bathroom was a little weird.

The only minus is no view from the window as all of them covered by big facade jalousie(

There’s a few things missing for top ranking in my opinion;
- Rooms facing the street are very loud even with windows closed.

which closed blinds, turned on/off lights, got the shower on/off.

but have electronic blinds you can adjust for privacy.

Took a while to work out the electric blinds in the shower and the inner toilet door didnt close properly,

and the glass wall between the bath/bed might be slightly disconcerting if you were sharing (but it does have a blind!)

The bathroom wall is made of glass, and you can open the blinds for extra light or close them for privacy.

One strange touch in the room was the motorized Venetian blinds between the shower and the rest of the room.

The Europa Fira Metro Station is just over a 100 metre walk from the Lobby.

We caught the bus from the airport which was super easy, and the hotel was right by the metro station so we caught the metro into the city each day.

but easy to get to these places as Metro station is right outside hotel and quite cheap.

Great location - close to metro and airport.

But, it is really easy to get into town with the subway or the bus.

Location wise is very close to the Metro station and therefore you are about a 20 min ride till the center.

but it was easy to use the Metro to go anywhere.

It’s very close to a Metro stop so it was easy to get in and out of the city center.

but the hotel is right beside the metro which will have you in the centre in about 10 minutes and about 20min to the port area.

The hotel is a very short walk away from the Metro and regional trains so it is easy to navigate both to/from the airport and central Barcelona.

Transport to city is a breeze - metro is 50m from hotel and 3 stops away from Espanya.

We also discovered that we could catch a bus right across the street directly to Placa Catalunya (H12, L94, L95) or use the metro from Europa/Fira for 1 euro each way (if you buy a 10 trip ticket at the station).

Out of the centre of Barcelona (but 15 mins by Metro which is just outside) this is 5 mins walk form the Fira conference centre.

The only drawback is that this is a local neighborhood without much nightlife or restaurants, But those are only within 10 minutes by metro or bus.

The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the metro which you will need as this hotel is near nothing other than a mall - no nightlife or restaurants to speak of.

The property is very pretty and only a few steps away to the metro station.

Overall I think having to use the Metro is a small price to pay for such a nice hotel and you can buy a transport pass from the airport metro station which is valid for several days, plus the airport run, to keep costs down.

Wonderful green surroundings, beautiful green plants in the hotel.

It is also famous for vertical garden Oasis and rooftop Pool with palm tress and lush vegetation.

Loved the architecture of the building, breakfast was amazing, the staff friendly and helpful.

This hotel boasts one of the best rooms I've ever stayed in, with modern amenities and elegant décor and one of a kind shaped windows.

Rooms are reasonably sized although a bit clinical

It is such a special hotel and truly an piece of art.

but if you like modern clean-line design, this should fit your taste quite well.

As you noticed from the photo posted by me and other reviewers the architecture is quite different than most hotels.

Architecturally the hotel is impressive from the room windows to the overall design.

Facades of the hotel is decorated and designed with energy efficiency in mind with sunshades on the building resulting in minimal viewing outwards from the rooms.

Now to the good aspects:

- The design of the hotel is very cool, and the property has a vertical garden that runs through the entire central atrium complete with palm trees and other tropical vegetation.

The design of the hotel and especially  the windows in the rooms add to its unique atmosphere.

Once you get to your door, it would be best if you were a football player and you knew how to hit the door like a football tackling sled because you REALLY need to push that door with some strength!.

At least 2 of the doors did not latch as the guests entered or exited their room.

but oddly the shower and sink was in the main room (separated by a curtain from the bed area) with just the toilet closed off with a door like a cloakroom.

Meeting rooms smelled musty and smoky and the bathroom doors in the conference space were so dark and confusing.

Intentionally removed the “Do Not Disturbed “ sign so that our room will be freshened up when we come back in the evening after our day out 

However , upon our return , a “ Do Not Disturbed “ sign was hanged outside our door which was never there when we left .
