 - Beside the prime location (right next to La Rambla and Placa Catalunya), the exquisite breakfast, and the comfortableness of the rooms, the uniqueness of this hotel lays with its staff.
 - We stayed at Hotel Jazz at Calle Pelai, just walking distance to Plaza Catalunya and La Rambla I totally loved Hotel Jazz, its location is perfect near all the main attractions in Barcelona, specially all the places to eat, to shop and to go around,
 - The location of the hotel is also fabulous, being very central and close to Plaza Catalunya with its fantastic transport links and La Rambla, with the fabulous shops, market and old town.
 - Also surrounded with cafes, eateries, restaurants, shops, shopping malls, walking distance to La Rambla and and Passeig de Gracia which lead us to Casa Batlo and Casa Mila makes us so happy to stay here.
 - The metro station is right around the corner and la Rambla was nearby.

 - Also no noise (most places in Barcelona have thin walls, you can hear everything, thank god this hotel was quiet) and the jazz music in the hallways is very nice.
 - And there were days that I noticed the hallways could use a vacuum.
 - However, tea/coffee station was not refilled daily without requesting or meeting the cleaning staff in the corridor for them.

 - When we learned that the bar was closed due to Covid, Silvia, the manager, had a bottle of cava waiting for us in the room when we returned, which was so incredibly thoughtful.

 - There was a lovely rooftop bar, which unfortunately is closed at this time of year,

 - The hotel is also very convenient to La Rambla, a major subway or metro station, the opera house, and the major food market of Barcelona, that is not to be missed if you are a tourist.
 - Also from the hotel a six minutes walk will take to the Gothic Cathedral and if you can be there on a Sunday at about eleven you will be able to enjoy some good happy Spanish music and join in the dancing in the square in front of the cathedral.
 - Los Tarantos is located here, which offers a great 30 minute Flamenco show.
 - We were able to explore Las Ramblas, check out La Boqueria and even take in an incredible flamenco performance because everything was within walking distance!
 - Well located near the Gothic quarter and near the Liceu Opera.

 - Location is awesome, just beside Barcelona sants railway station where you can get all international and local trains.
 - The hotel is easily reached from the airport, a single train with only 3 stops.

 - The main reason for me to have booked a night with Expo Hotel Barcelona was its being located right next to Barcelona-Saints railway station as I had to catch an early train on the next day.

 - but still, it's poor.
 - The room was not as in the photos, it was not very clean and quality of finish for the standard and price was poor.
 - summer in barcelona and poor air conditioning meant the minimum temp allowed was 21 degrees which is quite warm.
 - He began to raise his voice at me. Finally after all this he gave us a bigger room and took off the charges from the previous night and admitted that he was sorry that his mistake he said was "Making such a poor offer from the beginning."
