I'll include pictures with this review to show you. Whilst we didn't partake of the alcoholic drinks with our brekkie there was a choice of cava,whisky,baileys and others if you wanted them (and some did!)

The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice and is available until 12 midday.

The breakfast (available until 12noon every day) is amazing and includes something for all tastes, including cava if you fancy it!

Breakfast was served until midday each day, with plenty of options, including freshly cooked eggs, omelettes.

As other reviews have said the breakfast is outstanding - a large selection to choose from and the staff are attentive and very friendly .

We got the free shuttle from Terminal 2 to Terminal, we then waited downstairs for the Monbus to Parc Can Robert, the service operates 24/7 and cost for 2 and luggage etc €14.10 each way.

Roof top bar we went to a couple of times, this has fantastic panoramic sea views.

Brilliant hotel on the beachfront, great rooftop bar with amazing views of the church in the old town.

The rooftop bar is the perfect place for an aperitif to watch the sunset, and not at all expensive.

The hotel has a lovely rooftop bar, which is only open to hotel guests.

The staff certainly deserves a round of applause, there are little amenities like apples and lime water in the lobby, and bigger ones like a rooftop bar and pool.

They offered complementary cava and tea on their great rooftop bar and everyone, especially the lovely blond haired lady at the front desk was so helpful, welcoming and accommodating.

In the afternoon there was free coffee, tea and cakes at the rooftop bar.

Additional unexpected extras are such as: welcome cava in rooftop bar, complementary drink at choice of local bars, coffee pod machines and fridges in rooms and complementary daily afternoon tea an pastries.

The bathroom was small, with a shower only,

The room we had was small, including an old lounge chair that had seen better days, a broken glass table, and a functional shower in a tiny bathroom.

The less-than-good feature,  which caused departure after one night: a room that reeked of mildew ("moho"), with adjoining  tiny bathroom (barely room for one person) with aroma of mildew, urine, and mold (also on the shower floor/wall grout).

although the bathroom was tiny the shower was fantastic and it would not put me off returning.

But we had the possibility to shower at a small shower.

The bathroom was tiny with no counter space and a super cheap hairdryer you might see in a Motel 6.

The rooms are small, the beds are hard and the bathroom is tiny.

The shower was like a small wetroom with a tropical shower head, a telescope shower and jet shower.

This sounded great at first except that the room -located on the 1st floor above the restaurant- was actually smaller, with a tiny bathroom and a ridiculously huge bed that was taking most of the space.

The bathroom was small with a walk in shower which was powerful.

What bothered me was smoke, which would fill the room, and some younger  guests were smoking pot.

but also the lobby and tiny elevator which had a stuffy, musty, close atmosphere.

I too have to agree with a previous comment that on arrival the barman wasn't to the standard we had previously experienced, and the following afternoon the previous nights empty glasses, ashtrays etc had not been cleared and if the poor girl on duty hadn't enough to do

The pool side furniture needs attention as it smells of damp and is not pleasant to lie on.

We were extremely disappointed after viewing the official pictures promoted by the hotel and were met with dry pastries, stale fruit, damaged ham and flies in the milk for the coffee.

but that doesn't make up for smelly drains in bathroom,would not come back sorry to all your loyal fans but not for me.

This was a major annoyance as they sat on their balcony smoking and grating their chair on the tiles. .

The only slight downside was some inconsiderate tuneless singing emanating from the bar one night (3.30 am,to be precise) by a few guests who should have been more aware of the disturbance they causing - certainly not the hotel's fault.

The smell of bread is heavenly when it wafts up to your room.

but because it is fabric eg bedding style is  smelly, unhygienic and would be very hard to clean, and not a pleasure to spend time round the pool, it's the same furniture as two years ago.

There was no mold or mildew and the room was very peaceful.

We were constantly surrounded by smokers.

If we had any criticism whatsoever it would be that there was a slightly persistent smell of bad drains in our room,

My only criticism would be that amongst that fine option for breakfast, the coffee, tea, etc came out of a machine and it was disgusting.

We would of expected guests to smoke outside and this was not really the fault of the hotel

The room we were given was not as nice as last year, bit small and smelled of smoke, which when reported was dealt with.An upgrade might have helped us get over the trauma of having all our possesions stolen!

The tv remote control for example was disgusting.

She said the smell happens everywhere not only in this hotel

I hope the management read this and do something about cleaning the filters, since they looked filthy when I looked inside the air conditioner and it would be a relatively easy thing to fix.

It was not clean enough especially the floor around the toilet was dirty (old urine yuk) and remained that way the whole stay.

Incredible location, helpful and friendly staff.

The room was spacious, especially by European standards- we each had a night stand, power outlet, and drawer space. There were plenty of power outlets which was helpful too (one of our other hotels had 2, which isn't enough these days for all our devices!)

The cleaning staff were excellent and made the room up to a very high standard every day

In terms of location it couldn't be better placed in central Sitges and is right opposite the beach.

We were there for Christmas and we had glorious weather, we sat on the lovely roof terrace during the day and on an evening, great spot, very chilled, playing cool Jazz The Spa Pool stopped working while we were there, which was a shame as we would have liked to use it.

Teatime on the roof terrace is a nice touch.

Still my favourite part is the roof top terrace, it’s a lovely way to start and end an evening overlooking the beach and promenade with a glass whilst the sunsets.

Absolutely fabulous roof top terrace bar with stunning views and drinks not over priced, loved spending our wind down evenings up there.

Also in the afternoon on the terrace they provide afternoon tea for FREE !!!

The impeccable homely service, amazing breakfast, spectacular roof terrace, very comfortable bedrooms , excellent facilities, afternoon tea facility. .

Just back from a weeks stay at the Platjador, what a comfortable clean hotel, our room was at the back, we could see the pool from the terrace,

The terrace bar overlooks the sea and is excellent for an early evening drink.

Best of all, floor 5 has a roof bar and terrace overlooking the beach.

Only element that marred my visit was the price of imported G & Ts on the roof top terrace.

After a day out we look forward to sitting together with tea and cocktails on the fifth floor roof terrace, looking over the stunning sea and sky view.

Morning coffee on the front terrace is a pleasurable start to the day ahead.

After that, the complimentary action continues upstairs at the 5th floor terrace bar where there is a late afternoon tea and cakes service from 5.30 - 7.30.

Everything about the room was perfect:  great bed, good shower, clean and a lovely terrace overlooking the sea.

The bar on level 5, tended to by a cheerful bartender, is in a ideal location to enjoy a “nightcap”.

The bar on the 5th floor is a lovely spot for a drink in the evening.

They go out of their way to help the customers,  including the bar staff, the restaurant staff at breakfast, the wonderful receptionists and the lovely cleaners.

Roof top bar was very relaxing and lovely views with good service from the bar.

On check in we were given a voucher for a welcome glass of cava in the bar, which I may add has the most amazing views.

The views are great in the bar so definitely worth visiting.

The roof area was amazing with bar and lounge and lovely outside patio overlooking the beach .The bar was open from 12.00am till 1.00am and served afternoon tea from 5.00pm.

Choice of soaps shampoos body lotion etc., The hotel also has a bar/terrace on the 5th floor where you can have complimentary afternoon tea ..and the bar serves drinks in the eve ,whilst we were watching the moon rise over the sea!!

We faced the sea with a balcony which was LOVELY.

The rooftop has a lovely bar with great views and reasonable prices.

The hotel has the very best location you could wish for - on the sea front just minutes walk to the old town, church and restaurants.

Our room was room 303, which we had booked a sea view.

We had a sea view room with a balcony which really was a good size and very comfortable.

Views from the front of the building are absolutely breathtaking, the spa pool and sun deck at the back offered a quiet space to tan and relax.

We had a room with a sea view balcony on the fourth floor, superbly clean, good storage space, great bathroom with a hydromassage shower, and very quiet at night (even in April people were coming and going along the front at night,

We booked very last minute a sea view room - worth the small extra cost.

We stayed here for a week in late September in a non sea facing room.

The location is great and the rooms with Seaview balconies give fantastic views.

We stayed in a sea view room with a balcony, and it was wonderful to watch people passing by at all times of day and night.

The bar on the 5th floor offers some of the best views in Sitges.

From the spacious rooms, to the hammocks in the extra room, to the complimentary breakfast and full-service snacks.

Breakfast was included and was really good.

The breakfast is very good and the all day/night snack and sandwich choices is very helpful to our stay.

Breakfast is included and we had eggs to order plus bacon/sausage, toast, fruit, etc every morning.

BUT what makes it an EXCEPTIONAL hotel is the level of service, professionalism, hospitality and friendliness of ALL the staff (front desk, breakfast room, etc.).

but here it’s a must and so much fun - a selection of cheese, spreads, sausages, fruit, bread, and pastries along with made-to-order eggs or pancakes - everything you need to get your day started right.

The terrace on the top floor is great - it has a really nice honor bar - the breakfast and snack situation is one of the best ever - overall great stay

The amenities of the hotel is first class, from breakfast and snacks through the day and mobile wi-fi provided to visitors, which worked very well for most of the times in Barcelona, Montserrat and Girona.

Breakfast was plentiful and great quality.

Breakfast had many things to choose from and The Honesty Bar was so convenient in the evening to sit on the terrace and relax.

There is a relaxing honor bar on the roof, breakfast beverages and 24 hours snacks are included.

The breakfast was great with both cooked and continental on offer with sandwiches, teas and coffee available all day.

The eggs are made to order, (much better than pancakes).

Delicious breakfast included, with eggs made to order.

Breakfast in the morning is its own event - complete with eggs made to order, every bread/pastry you could want, meat, cheeses, Iberico ham, fruits, yogurt, etc.

The bar on premises is closed on Sunday's and Monday's which is a bit of a bummer

Travelers tip 2: when planning your activities in Barcelona, keep in mind that many places are closed on Sunday.

The elevators, halls and rooms feel closed.

We had the drapes closed for privacy most of the time so the room had a cave-like feel to it.

but be aware that the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday.

The area is then closed for an hour, allowing the staff to remove breakfast and ready the area for the rest of the day.

We had the "city suite," and it was huge when the sofa bed was closed.

We didn't make use of the downstairs area as it was closed during our stay -

At 11:30, breakfast closed and an extensive choice of snacks, salad, soup, and drinks were available - all at no extra cost.

but once the doors to the balconies were closed, you could not hear a thing.

Because it was a holiday, many sites and restaurants were closed.

The kids did not like the fact that the sliding door separating the bathroom and bedroom did not close fully due to the design of the hanging rail around the wall which meant the door had no lock and a very small gap was left when closed.

however our adapter kept falling out when we closed the safe door.

Unfortunately, the restaurant next door was closed 2 of the 3 nights I was there and  I did not have a reservation for the first night.

The bedroom was dead quiet and so dark that it became too easy to sleep too long.

A bit concerned because the photos showed what appeared to be a dark (red walls) & smallish room.

I would recommend an upper floor as the 1st floor is a bit dark (and I was on the 'city view' side) and noisy if you have your windows open.

Everything was dark red and black not very inviting in my own personal view.

The only thing to note about the room is that it’s a bit dark and faces the street.

If I had one nit-pick it's that the room was rather dark, and there was an area of the room that wasn't lit at all.

My husband was able to sit up and watch tv while I went off to sleep in a dark room.

but to get to hotel you had to walk about 3 blocks  down a very dark narrow street/alley.

You can make the room as bright or dark as you want with the roll down blinds.

Perhaps the most important is that there is no clock that can be read in the dark so it is impossible to know the time with the shades drawn unless you turn on your cell phone.

but very dark due to red and black decor and lack of enough natural light.

Lighting could have been better as the bedroom was a little dark.

Rooms in the A part comprise 2 parts: a bedroom with bath facing the vertical gardens (very quiet,but a bit on the dark side) and across the floor a small living area with a hammock (this side faces a small road well frequented also in the night).

At first the bedroom feels a bit dark as there are no windows,

although this view and red colour of bedroom make this place rather dark.

The main reason I could not give it 5 stars was because the room was so dark with harsh lighting and it got very little natural daylight which kind of spoilt the experience.

The major Gaudi houses of Casa Batilo, Palau Guell and La Pedrera are all within walking distance

Basically anything you want to see, eat, or experience, is in easy reach!

You can really walk anywhere, beside Guell park.

We were able to walk to everything from the hotel, even Park Guell and Sagrada Familia.

Despite our time here being cut short, we were able to see Park Guell and La Sagrada Familia.

GREAT centralized location close to BOQUERIA (daily stop ) the Gothic quarter (Best hood to walk around) Gaudi's BATTLÓ and LA PEDRERA ,  LAS RAMBLAS , PLAZA CATALUNYA , PASEIG GRACIA , CHOK BARCELONA CHOCOLATIER  on Calle Carme (daily must eat) , 10 minute can ride to  SAGRADA FAMILIA and 15-20 min cab ride to PARK GUELL , 20 minute cab ride to the airport .

and riding bikes up the hill to Park Guell.

Most important  attractions are walking distance (Old Town, El Born, etc), and getting to Sagrada de Familia, Montjuic, and Park Guell is a breeze.

It is located in the same street as Palace Guell (100m further on same side) just off Las Ramblas, a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

If you ask us what we miss the most in Barcelona, it would NOT be the beautiful sights like the Sagrada or Park Guell or Port Vell - which we liked a lot.

Must sees La Pedrera, Sagrada Familia (book online, no waiting in queue) & Park Guell.

Location is excellent and, if you have the time, I would really recommend the Guell Palace - which is just down the Ramblas from the hotel.

Great location just a few blocks from La Rambla and the market.

The location three blocks off La Rambla, very convenient.

Location, location, location just minutes away from La Rambla with easy access to shops, restaurants and transportation nearby.

Short walk to La Rambla and Plaza Cataluna.

It is conveniently located near La Rambla and other attractions.

The location of the hotel is perfect - on a quaint side street just off  La Rambla a stones throw from Plaza de Catalunya which is a main hub.

Location is perfect too—-just close enough to La Rambla

The hotel’s location was very convenient, with the Plaça de Catalunya, La Rambla, and Passeig de Gràcia all within walking distance.

Reasons to stay here:
-Location: You're a mere 5 minutes away from La Rambla, La Boqueria, and the metro.

This hotel is in a quiet street in El Raval, a two block walk to La Rambla.

Centrally located, you can walk to most major sites (La Rambla was only two blocks away), with local cafes and wonderful restaurants nearby.
