Loved the extensive coat rack, large fluffy towels and view from the bathroom.

The rooms are very well designed and user friendly, beds and bedding super comfy and the shower was great.

but the Casa Camper whether in Berlin or Barcelona has my favorite shower of any place that I have stayed in Europe.

The bathroom was away from the toilet and the shower was awesome.

The shower is also incredible and the room was very spacious and pleasant.

The amenities of the hotel is first class, from breakfast and snacks through the day and mobile wi-fi provided to visitors, which worked very well for most of the times in Barcelona, Montserrat and Girona.

I loved that we had 2 separate rooms - 1 for sleeping with washroom and 1 across the hall for relaxing with seating area, tv and hammock !!!

New, modern, lots of amenities - plus little fun quirk (hammocks in some rooms, key card on lanyard, loooong row of hooks for hanging things on in the room, "honest bar" on the roof top where you serve yourself and just make a note to be charged).

We had a suite (A35) for ourselves and our daughter / boyfriend and even with just the one bathroom it was spacious and sufficiently private for all.

The shower was so nice with optional handpiece or rain shower.

Friendliest staff, hotel full of thoughtful amenities from slippers for the room to small info packet about hotel and city to carry in your purse.

Each room is perfectly equipped with a great bed, bathroom, robes, etc.

You are immediately greeted at the door, provided a tour of the hotel, the amenities and shown to your room, where once again they take great effort to make sure you are well taken care of.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower has excellent pressure and good hot water.

Comfortable rooms, great staff, complimentary food and drink after 12.30pm, the roof terrace, the rain shower on the roof, the location, great chef who cooks your breakfast to order.

In a place like Europe where 5 stars don’t want to give you complimentary water bottles for the room, they had a dedicated area, filled with amenities, snacks and beverages, free of charge and around the clock.

The bar on premises is closed on Sunday's and Monday's which is a bit of a bummer

Travelers tip 2: when planning your activities in Barcelona, keep in mind that many places are closed on Sunday.

The elevators, halls and rooms feel closed.

We had the drapes closed for privacy most of the time so the room had a cave-like feel to it.

but be aware that the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday.

The area is then closed for an hour, allowing the staff to remove breakfast and ready the area for the rest of the day.

We had the "city suite," and it was huge when the sofa bed was closed.

We didn't make use of the downstairs area as it was closed during our stay -

At 11:30, breakfast closed and an extensive choice of snacks, salad, soup, and drinks were available - all at no extra cost.

but once the doors to the balconies were closed, you could not hear a thing.

Because it was a holiday, many sites and restaurants were closed.

The kids did not like the fact that the sliding door separating the bathroom and bedroom did not close fully due to the design of the hanging rail around the wall which meant the door had no lock and a very small gap was left when closed.

however our adapter kept falling out when we closed the safe door.

Unfortunately, the restaurant next door was closed 2 of the 3 nights I was there and  I did not have a reservation for the first night.

The bedroom was dead quiet and so dark that it became too easy to sleep too long.

A bit concerned because the photos showed what appeared to be a dark (red walls) & smallish room.

I would recommend an upper floor as the 1st floor is a bit dark (and I was on the 'city view' side) and noisy if you have your windows open.

Everything was dark red and black not very inviting in my own personal view.

The only thing to note about the room is that it’s a bit dark and faces the street.

If I had one nit-pick it's that the room was rather dark, and there was an area of the room that wasn't lit at all.

My husband was able to sit up and watch tv while I went off to sleep in a dark room.

but to get to hotel you had to walk about 3 blocks  down a very dark narrow street/alley.

You can make the room as bright or dark as you want with the roll down blinds.

Perhaps the most important is that there is no clock that can be read in the dark so it is impossible to know the time with the shades drawn unless you turn on your cell phone.

but very dark due to red and black decor and lack of enough natural light.

Lighting could have been better as the bedroom was a little dark.

Rooms in the A part comprise 2 parts: a bedroom with bath facing the vertical gardens (very quiet,but a bit on the dark side) and across the floor a small living area with a hammock (this side faces a small road well frequented also in the night).

At first the bedroom feels a bit dark as there are no windows,

although this view and red colour of bedroom make this place rather dark.

The main reason I could not give it 5 stars was because the room was so dark with harsh lighting and it got very little natural daylight which kind of spoilt the experience.

The major Gaudi houses of Casa Batilo, Palau Guell and La Pedrera are all within walking distance

Basically anything you want to see, eat, or experience, is in easy reach!

You can really walk anywhere, beside Guell park.

We were able to walk to everything from the hotel, even Park Guell and Sagrada Familia.

Despite our time here being cut short, we were able to see Park Guell and La Sagrada Familia.

GREAT centralized location close to BOQUERIA (daily stop ) the Gothic quarter (Best hood to walk around) Gaudi's BATTLÓ and LA PEDRERA ,  LAS RAMBLAS , PLAZA CATALUNYA , PASEIG GRACIA , CHOK BARCELONA CHOCOLATIER  on Calle Carme (daily must eat) , 10 minute can ride to  SAGRADA FAMILIA and 15-20 min cab ride to PARK GUELL , 20 minute cab ride to the airport .

and riding bikes up the hill to Park Guell.

Most important  attractions are walking distance (Old Town, El Born, etc), and getting to Sagrada de Familia, Montjuic, and Park Guell is a breeze.

It is located in the same street as Palace Guell (100m further on same side) just off Las Ramblas, a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

If you ask us what we miss the most in Barcelona, it would NOT be the beautiful sights like the Sagrada or Park Guell or Port Vell - which we liked a lot.

Must sees La Pedrera, Sagrada Familia (book online, no waiting in queue) & Park Guell.

Location is excellent and, if you have the time, I would really recommend the Guell Palace - which is just down the Ramblas from the hotel.

This hotel is in a quiet street in El Raval, a two block walk to La Rambla.

Centrally located, you can walk to most major sites (La Rambla was only two blocks away), with local cafes and wonderful restaurants nearby.

The hotel is in an excellent location - just steps from La Rambla with lots of nearby restaurants, cafes and shops.

but this one was exceptional, and we enjoyed the short walk to La Rambla and all of the nearby restaurants, shops and cafes.

This hotel is in the perfect area on a very quaint, small picturesque block, near La Rambla - I can’t say enough about the staff - Milos Vlad Angelica Daniel - so helpful !!!

Perfect location, just a few minutes off La Rambla, 10 minutes walk to the Aerobus airport transfer and a perfect spot to explore all around Barcelona.

It was just a few minutes walk to La Rambla so the location was good too.

It is located right in the middle of Barrio Gotico, so you are about 5 minute walk from Las Ramblas, and to the Arc de Triomf, Parc de la Citadella and Placa Catalunya where you can get transportation to anywhere, be it tourist buses or airport bus.

Rooms are comfortable, beds large and will ensure a good nights sleep.

The morning shift woman who checked us in (sorry I can’t recall her name) was so helpful in helping us determine what to do while we are waiting for our room to be ready.

Check in both times was really good and the second time we got our room at 10am as there happened to be a room ready.

Rooftop honor bar is awesome and I love the fact that the separate some of their hotel rooms from sitting areas so that a family can have one person napping and another watching tv

They also brought our luggage to the room despite us mentioning that we can do this on our own.

BUT what makes it an EXCEPTIONAL hotel is the level of service, professionalism, hospitality and friendliness of ALL the staff (front desk, breakfast room, etc.).

The room felt like an apartment with plenty of space.

Rooms are quiet, spacious and well maintained and stocked.

The separate sitting room allowed my insomnia-prone wife a place to watch TV and relax without bothering me.

We had a king room and it was large and well planned.

The hotel, room, and staff were all excellent.

The room we were in was much larger than many European hotels.

There was a lovely rooftop terrace with a beautiful view, honour bar and seating areas.

Snacks and drinks are available all day both downstairs and on the terrace.

Breakfast had many things to choose from and The Honesty Bar was so convenient in the evening to sit on the terrace and relax.

Be sure to enjoy the 6th floor terrace - we almost missed it!! !

Rooftop terrace, honesty bar - we used this on our first night when we were jaded and just wanted an easy drink without having to think.

What makes this a standout is 24-7 snacks (enough for a light lunch or dinner), a cooked breakfast, and a lovely terrace with a great view.

The roof terrace in particular is a gem and is worth spending time up there on a lounger or enjoying a drink from the honesty bar.

At the end of a long day exploring, it was a joy to sit on the roof top terrace and enjoy the view while relaxing with a glass of wine from the honesty bar.

As for the mini-bar, Casa Camper replaces it with another unique and customer friendly idea.

Chalk up another 5-star review for the place - this unique, centrally-located spot with it's all-you-can-eat offerings really can't be beat.

Very unique hotel with large room plus a second room/lounge with hammock and Juliette balcony.

We LOVED the unique layout of the room in this hotel with the lounge across the hallway. My daughter absolutely loved the hammock and amazingly slept in it all night (possibly because we were totally jet lagged!)

To the unique design of the rooms (a bedroom and a separate lounge with a hammock:) to the minimalistic design that is so modern.

Also discount offered on their equally unique shoes at the Camper store a few doors down.

There is a unique separate little living room with hammock and small balcony across the corridor from the bedroom.

Check in went smoothly - the room is a bit unique in that you have the main room and then across the corridor you have a second room, sort of a lounge area with a couch, table, hammock and another tv.

Overall a 12 nights in a super little boutique hotel that was  a great experience for the 4 of us that I highly recommend!

We loved evrything about this charming luxury boutique hotel from the luxury boutique decor, the roof-top pool and bar, the location, the romms while on the small side were clean and more than adequate.

We stayed at the Serras Hotel for five nights in May, and this hotel is truly what all boutique hotels should strive to be.

She made  very helpful suggestions and even went so far as to try to get us tickets to Park Guell when the reception staff informed us the park was sold out for the day.

They installed special handgrips in the spacious shower for my 91 year old father, were helpful in finding a good place to eat that was open over the holidays, made bookings for Sagrada Familia and Park Guell, and left little amuse bouches on the nightstand with a fresh solid glass bottle of water every night.

Although the room was not ready (as expected), we were warmly greeted with drinks (Cava for the adults, juice for my youngest daughter), and the receptionist booked us tickets for Parc Guell for the following day and gave us restaurant recommendations.

Apart from our visit to Park Guell, we went everywhere on foot as the hotel is well-located.

The hotel is blocks from the Born area with its Santa Maria del Mar gothic church and excavation of ruins from Philip V. Across the street from the ruins is the Parc de la Ciutadella with its zoo, lake, museum, beautiful fountain, and Parliament of Catalonia.

We also had dinner at Restaurante Informal.

The restaurant is a great place for breakfast, and the Breakfast / Lunch dining manager Sandra gets a special mention - a gracious and helpful hostess, she sets the standard for great service.

While we did not dine at the on-site restaurant (Rooftop) which is supposed to be fantastic, we did enjoy the roof top bar area.

The staff are attentive, polite and they provided us with great recommendations on restaurants and sites to visit.

Great location, Small, Personal, Innovattive menus and venus to eat/drink.

She was also  very helpful with giving us recommendations on restaurants   The service at the restaurant, Informal, was also very good and we enjoyed the food and great view.
