The check in process was very welcoming and seamless  we were checked in by cynthia (guest relations ,she ensured that our stay very nice ,my room was also clean and pleasant.

A suggestion for them would be to try switch things up as they read the mood of the guests, otherwise they would find themselves perform to an uninterested crowd.

My suggestion would be to kindly introduce water sports, eg, jet skis, kites.

Now this is a suggestion which can be a huge selling point to the hotel: in the drinks offered for all inclusive, I suggest that you put a one high end drink like black label to be in the list even if it's not part of the all inclusive package

SUGGESTIONS: please install a shower next to the baby pool, which is pretty far from the one at the main pool.

A suggestion is that they can improve on their house keeping services.

I can’t forget to mention the location of the hotel,that’s 17kms from Moi International Airport.That’s welcoming you to the glorious beauty of Mombasa town while traversing through.But with poor travel plans and timings you might miss your flight due to sometimes heavy traffic back to the Airport.

The hotel is very beautiful,customer service was very bad due to the fact the staffs concentrated on the members of parliament who were there for a conference stay and ignored us.

Whereas the check -in was a little shaky due to the numbers.

but a bit desperat to sell due to few numbers of tourists on the beach.

Due to the fact, that we had to leave the next morning for our safari - they organized a breakfast box and we could store our luggage for the time we were away on safari.

That means every time you leave the room, and due to the humidity in Mombasa, you could get the room walls wet (as I got them).

though Some staff overwhelmed due to over booking.

Last year, due to COVID, we were not able to spend our yearly holiday in this fantastic resort.

Despite having our full, for the last four days we never experienced food upsets meaning the foods are done in a good environment with due care taken in the preparation.

Kids will not want to leave the place due to the activities they organise from 11am and keep them busy all day and night, not forgetting the water park.

So, with a bit of uncertainity (due to covid), we decided we truly needed a break and therefore when the president lifted the lockdown on Mombasa and Nairobi, we picked our bags and left by road (felt more safe) to PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort and Spa Convention Center.

One of the receptionist was outright rude and looked down on me like I was so poor and joblese that told me my parents are the ones who paid for me.

The mishap of poor reception and the hotel unpreparwdneas was tolerated on those two accounts.

The internet was poor more so on the conference area. 3.

The rooms were clean and well maintained,  WiFi was on in all places at the resort, the food was amazing, and the water park was a hit for all of us.

The food was excellent, very clean rooms and  great customer from the staff especially Damieno (great guy this).

overall the hotel was great staffs were friendly especially at the restaurant the room was clean and well organized at the reception everyone was willing to assist and it was amazing  and loved the conferencing area as well i will highly recommend the hotel

Service including check in was slow and cumbersome.

The catering services and personel is very slow.

When we arrived for our team building on the 11th Dec I felt that the reception was too slow, the hotel had not made a place for us and we had to wait for almost an hour for the hotel to create space.

The waiters are also very slow and do not have any enthusiasm in serving you.

Only criticism was that the shower had very poor water pressure.

The room was very basic, the cleaning was okish, the bathroom was poor.

We were checked in 4 hours late, told to check out on time and the food was poor.

The hotel itself probably needs some updating, the rooms especially,

A few renovations required to the bathrooms(stained floor and taps not working).

but I believe this was more due to the overdue update needed rather than not being cleaned thoroughly.

Some rooms could use a bit of refurbishment though. 8/10

although the bathroom was crying out for an update.

Breakfast to dinner that accommodates all cultures, age and including those with health conditions like Diabetes, all very scrumptious and  luscious.

Some of the rooms at Voyager are in need of refurbishment,

especially bathroom has foul smell and outdated.

Only minus point is the bathrooms in the room, personally I think they need renovation.

Only recommendation is to renovate some rooms as they are a bit outdated.

My last day after having a tour in Mombasa town,I was given a room to refresh,B4 boarding my night train 🚂. .

I walked in and i was in awe, i mean the room was in immaculate condition, balcony offered unobstructed breathtaking view of the sea and also overlooking the pool are which was just amazing.

A hairdryer appeared 24hrs after requested.

The showers should be changed because they have little pressure.

Bathroom had low pressure coming out of shower.

A pair of sandals in the bathrooms, & stronger internet connection would make it much better.

The bathrooms are utterly ancient and in poor condition with stains, rusting and cracked tiles.

though i see some effort was placed to make the hotel plastic free, the showers where much to be desired with heavy iodine (Salt) in the water.

The hotel is very outdated , the door of our room wouldn't  close properly, the sink in the bathroom was very loose and shaky.

For example the showers were not working well and internet accessibility needs to be boosted.

Close your bathroom door at night so you don’t get mosquitos.

Downside was that the toilet water pressure was not good and took so long for the tunk to refill.

The room looks like a luxurious cell in Prison Break, with uncomfortable seats, dusty beddings, a high bed with a slice of a mattress, toilets that flush badly, beat up showers, salty water as courtesy room water, TV that is poorly tuned to free to air.

Our room had no toilet paper on arrival and the bathroom had little cold water.

I have a few cons though, the pool doesn't have an attendant especially for the small kids,
The rooms should at least have tooth paste and brushes, shower cap, and lotion, especially for AI.

Shower had a very poor jet of water so one had to stand next to the wall to get under the shower.

Apart from the location & Wifi, everything else is horrible, Room is very old school, Toilet and bathroom is very shower is horrible, Gym dont have normal machines to work out, Variety of food is poor, In room TV is nonsense no enough channels and its not even a flat screen.. No lifts available..

but my fault I am not sure if they have tall showers should have asked!!

The choice of music was poor and the team made little effort to engage the guests in dancing.

but it really means nothing because the 
Chef service is poor.

Food took forever to arrive and when it did it was quite poor.

In this day and age, poor TV and poor wifi is just not acceptable.

but trouble was with the waiters service very very poor they were more attracted to international tourists rather than local tourists after much complains finally after 2 days started geting service as we expected the waiters are very rude dont even smile but not all one waiter named Joseph was very good and ever helpful.

however noticing the poor safety procedures we did not want to stay.

the wifi is poor and customer service terrible.

He concurred and not only refunded the three unused nights, he also refunded the first night, equating to a full refund for all four nights (and I assumed he did this because of our poor night’s stay).

People complaining of poor variety and substandard cooking must have been very unlucky.

hence poor rooms esp for the money charged.

Said male looked aghast and treated the poor helper to tirade of abuse.

Better that than an attempt at fancy with poor execution.

It is dirty and the staff are lazy due to lack of training and poor management!

Snack bar orders take 45 minutes to get, poor selection, charges for ice cream , no bottled water to take anywhere.

A dump of a place, poor standards of hygiene as flies were all over the food, we walked out after we were shown our rooms were the toilets hadn't been cleaned properly.

Got a good ocean-view , clean room and I really appreciated how Esther and Kadzo always went out of their way to check on me throughout my stay and to even organize for a birthday surprise while I was there!

The hotel is so quaint and full of character, the rooms are beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean (opps there's another mention - thank you Lennox for keeping our room spotless and supplied with fresh water, coffee tea etc.

The housekeeping were very thorough everyday keeping my room clean to a very high standard.

Upon arrival we got our room and notice that the room is clearly not cleaned as there was dust everywhere ,we also noticed the funny smell in the room and the mouldy towels .Now I will talk about what really annoyed me and my husband , WE WERE STOLEN FROM IN OUR OWN ROOM !!!

Unfortunately, the room at the restaurant was exposed to scents, especially the stifling smoke from the grill.

Then things change, most men drink hard liquor and drink/drive, nasty things happen.

The rooms are just basic, not so clean, some stench from toilet meaning nit well cleaned , old school tv and furniture.

However, I wasn't so amused by the lingering smell of cigarettes in the room I got

It smells BAD; kind of like a mix of egg farts and volcano about to erupt.

although - and this is my biggest bugbear - they allow smoking by the pool so cigarette ash falls in to the pool.

My companion was asked to go and change his lowers for dinner and even when he did it was pointed out to be not the correct one. Disgusting!!

after a few days the smell of the BBQ they were cooking a lot of the meat on was really beginning to turn my stomach.

Things that made our stay unpleasant: grimy old tiny rooms, old linens that are not fresh (at least 10 years +), saltwater from the faucets and showers (you'll feel salty the whole time), clogged shower drain, mosquitos and no mosquito net, you will be nickeled and dimed: internet 350 shillings an hour for each computer (even

though is how many children are subjected at the hands of these disgusting Germans.

Our room was dirty and the bathrooms was disgusting.

Maintenance is badly needed (our shower was filthy and just a dribble) and some of corrupt staff need sacking.

Smokers don't adhere to areas off no smoking.

Thin, sagging matresses, pillows that had never been replaced, rusted fixtures, salt water showers with no hot water, mold in the bathroom, undercooked food, wifi non-functional and nickel and diming at every turn.

Hi, for the cost we are paying for the twin room:

1) Room is too small
2) Salt water in taps
3) Room amenities such as iron, hot water jug are not readily available including plates and basic cutlery

Staff were friendly and courteous

The rooms are small and in poor condition.

The bath water was very salty and the kids didn't enjoy shower because of this, the AC in room 108 was not working, the room was very very small for twin room, no coffee kettle or small bottles of water compared to their other Pride Inn Hotel in Mombasa town.

The only, negative, I have is the location of the dining room too close to the car park, if there are delivery's you are consuming car fumes.
