The first room I was in did not have temperature control…they offered a heater.

Only complain is regarding the air conditioning that was not operating properly.

There had been some leakage from the A/C at one time and the wood surrounding the A/C was warped.

As others have mentioned, you cannot adjust the A/C temperature,

The air-condition is controlled centrally - no way to adjust the room temperature individually.

There were some issues with the rooms, you can't regulate the air conditioning so if the hotel thinks it's "cold" (25°C/75°F) they'll turn on the heater, the furniture could also be better.

but the bathroom has no natural ventilation.

The breakfast is wonderful with a wide selection of foods.

We especially enjoyed the breakfast, they had bacon and scrambled eggs, as well as all types of beverages (water, coffee, yogurt, tea, you name it).

Rooms are ok. Tasty breakfast, with fresh pao de queijo and really well organized, even it was really crowded in the morning, all was working in the breakfast.

You can't ask for a better location - right on the city's main beach plaza, which is a hub of activity into the evening -- which is why some may complain about the noise.

That night I slept with the window wide open to the street noise and the bathroom door closed.

I stayed on a weekend, so it did get somewhat loud (but not during “quiet hours”) and they could use about two more elevators,

Could hear the waves early in the morning.

I had an ocean-side room, and there's nothing like sleeping with the windows open and hearing the surf.

However the walls seem to be very thin and were constantly being woken up by fairly noisy neighbours.

The hotel is noisy, you can hear the parties on the beach all night, you hear the noise from upstairs, downstairs, neighbors, outside door.

but that situation almost wreck the weekend; 2) The beds, furniture and all room decoration are very cheap and  definitely not in accordance with the prices they charge, so with look for a comfortable stay proportional with the prices charges look for someplace else; 3) Avoid rooms that face the back of the Hotel, because we were at the ninth floor and still faced noise problems coming from the bars located at the streets on the back.

You hear everything from lateral and overhead neighbors.

Also, at check-in, the receptionist wanted to charge me more than the amount in my reservation, which I found disturbing considering the fact that he had located my reservation in the system.

The hotel room is very noisy: whenever one of your room-neighbours (over you, under you, or aside you) uses the shower or toilet - you think it´s your own.

though there we could hear people and music from the streets, I think in regular time the room could be silent enough.

The restaurant and bar had great service, they always did their best to satisfy the guest.

There are several transfer services that will take you to Blumenau.

My suggestion is to provide a shuttle service to the Navegantes airport and a concierge service to help with chairs and umbrellas on the beach.

The room had everything we could ask for: a very large bed, a whirlpool, and a balcony with a wonderful sea view.

We booked the hotel for one week and we decided staying there because it was close to the sea and we could stay in a room with a beautiful view.

This is a fantastic new hotel very well located at Balneario Camboriu downtown.

I had the room 664 and it was quite noisy, because it seems that the elevator machines were behind the wall.

They should be aware of this trouble and give us a room far from thi noisy neighbor.

although the acoustic isn´t, therefore  it is complicate to sleep when some other rooms are making some noise.

I was glad to hear that the hotel is smokers-free, as I'm not a smoker myself.

Our experience: 9:30 - sunday morning there was no more fruit salad because there was not people available in the kitchen to fix it.

The toaster to make snack, was broken and rusted, dirty.

There is no microwave in the room, they charge for breakfast R$ 15 and for parking the car R$ 15.

Oh, almost forgot, great location and guys from parking garage so helpful, just give the keys and they do the rest.

The hotel is furnished in the classical Ibis standard witch is very comfortable for the price payed, I've been to 4 during my last trip an I can find every thing with closed eyes, witch is kind of cute.
