The resort has a sizeable length of beach and 3 large pools all surrounded by many beach lounges.

The hotel keeps the beach and area,s around the hotel very clean and tidy.

We also booked a romantic dinner on the beach and had a most accomodating waiter named Yudi who looked after us.

the pool, wide and well distributed, the bar and restaurant of any kind and style and an amazing beach with impressive landscapes.

We ate at a few of the other restaurants and also enjoyed them, in particular the Asian restaurant down near the beach.

It's right on the beach, with a lovely walkway between the handful other classy hotels in the area.

but well maintained with Beautiful beach and pool view.

I had 2 massages in the beach gazebos which were fantastic and so relaxing listening to the waves rolling in.

but its a beautiful thing to try for the first time,,the white sand beach is just phenomenal and the service from the staff was also so great,,the facilities is of the chain and everything is so kind that greet us everywhere we go,,,,thank you for made my day,,cant wait to get back to nusa dua beach hotel and spa again again and again,

The beach is lovely and the people are fantastic.

Such a wonderful resort , nice beach, best sunrise, good service, lovely staff , yummy food.

For variety there are many choices at each of the hotels as you walk along the beach.

The other hotels along the stretch did much better with their stretch of beach.

The beach was beautiful and the beach cleaners were constantly going up and down the beach to ensure it was kept clean.

The pools are nice and the beach is beautiful to be at.

Staying here for 2 night all was great, we choose the beach view.

Lots of other resorts on the beach you can visit.

but is more about the details of hospitality applied; from unique and beautiful architectural design to strong Balinese influence in the buildings, nice and warm smiles from the staff, super clean hotel room, marvelous breakfast and a lot of Balinese experiences like the Kecak dance performed in one of their restaurants.

They remembered our names and the service was impeccable , everytime.

The beach was lovely and clean and the Balinese ladies wandering the beach selling their wares were very polite and sweet.

Although clean, they are past their best and tired looking in our opinion.

Room and hotel environment so clean and the garden also so green and fresh.

I was amazed by the very well-maintained hotel building, the staff was very friendly, kind, and responsive to guests.

The hotel located on a very wide, clean, white sandy beach, and with a lot of trees in the area for shades, so it was perfect.

It was regularly clean and linen changed daily.

However, the guys tried very hard to generally keep the beach and shoreline clean,

Friendly personnel, excellent breakfast, clean beach and also swimming pool.

But cleanliness hygiene and actions for this are all our responsibility and particularly hotel managements.

All the areas at the hotel were always so clean and beautiful.

but very expensive now with the 21% service charge & government tax.

We were recommended a hotel car and driver to transport us to another town for a day trip, this proved to be expensive and we found that eventhough we negotiated the cost with the front transport desk, we had to call the driver out on his charges.

If you try to use the landline at the complaint counter they come and tell you to finish FASTER BECAUSE THEY ARE PAYING FOR THE CALL.

but overpriced when you add the 21% surcharge.

They did not charge us for late check out at 2 pm.

Upon check in, we were required to pay in advance for the full 7 nights stay in addition to a IDR4 million deposit via credit card.

We also found there seemed to be an additional 20% charge when you didn't pay for things at the time and charged them to your room.

Such is the balance of nature that the hotel doesn’t have to ‘fog’ to keep down mosquito numbers.

Food and drink prices are on a par with Australia and subject to a 21 per cent (10 per cent value added, 11 per cent service charge - you have to add this to all quoted food and drink prices) so eat up at breakfast.

An improvement would be to provide a couple of bottles of drinking water in the rooms free of charge which could then be re-filled from the dispenser in the hotel lobby and for those who did not want to do this could then pay for replacements.

A coke in the lobby or pool bar was 68,000Rp + 21% tax/service charge.

Just remember there is a service charge of around 25% (tip) plus tax each time you buy food & drink in the resort.

If you buy a Diet Coke, a service charge is added?!

Even had to get the doctor which was billed through the hotel and very expensive.

It’s such a shame they charge such high prices because the hotel is beautiful.

Don't: 
(1) It might be a burden for regular guess on standard room deposit at Rupiah 1 million per night stay on room deposit & the amount will only credit back 2 weeks upon check-out.

Whatever time you leave, the "all-in" formula stops the day of departure at 10am, even if you pay an extra charge for a late check-out.

We approached reception for help on contacting them and were told we would be charged.

The food was good aswell the only down side was we were never made aware that we have to put a “safety deposit” down and it’s £50 per night you stay they do take it off your bill when you buy drinks,food ect when you charge it to the room.

I even have to call so many times back and forth to explain and they change the lines to different person in charge, so many times for me to explain again and again to them then now still waiting for their checking on my deposit status.

We were fortunate enough to discover the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa on a recent trip to Bali.

When you arrive at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa, you certainly know you've arrived somewhere special.

We had a wonderful time at the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel.

On Friday evening Nan and Opa were honoured to be invited guests at the Full Moon Ceremony at the temple of Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa.

Despite this, we would return to Nusa Dua Beach Hotel at the drop of a hat and would recommend it to everyone!

That being said, the Nusa Dua beach hotel offers something a bit different.

Nusa Dua Beach hotel is authentic and we can’t wait to return at Christmas.

The Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and SPA is one of our preferred hotels in the area and it would be our first choice if our preferred room is available.

I felt very pleasant staying at the Nusa Dua beach hotel.

We had a wonderful retreat during the Day of Silence at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel.

Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa will give you best deal for your room and their accomodation, we also got upgraded room and free of pre wedding charge.

We recently stayed at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa.

but don't force your religious beliefs down the throat of paying guests, unless you are really up front about it when they are making the choice to pay to stay or not.

The area was really hard to get to other parts of the island - cannot walk to anywhere other than the gated part, taxis are expensive and the island is massive!

This hotel has big potential, due pandemic situation probably has budget costs and miss selling oportunitues with guests which they have at least.

We did not even wait that she tells us how much it would cost us.

Least occupancy rate so most of the facilities are closed.

The only downside was the cost of food and drink was very expensive.

We along with many other guests staying here went elsewhere to eat and drink where prices were far more realistic!

For example it costs more than €1 to get 1 piece of underwear cost.

For example, the manager told the bartenders to make us pay our drink and food order in advance and told the group that they were going to lock up all our mini bars.

however all of the hotels in the Nusa Dua area were pricey especially drinks.

Drinks are very expensive, as all of Nusa Dua is.

but the cost was nearly £50 per head, very expensive for such poor quality.

The pools and general area were ok. What I found a little disturbing was that the food was overpriced and at some points the quality wasnt even close to value for money, and the fact that when I placed a complaint at the pool restaurant it was dismissed and ignored.on the plus side on the palace club area we met a really kind and helpful person , Gin .

but expensive once contribution tax added.

I have only rated this hotel with 4, rather than 5, purely because we felt that the bathrooms could do with updating.

but it’s a little tired being over 30 years old and is in need of a refurbishment.

Requiring a bit of updating especially bathrooms.

5 rating was because our room, which we upgraded to, was rather tired and in need of a refurbishment.

Although the beds and pillow were comfy, the bathroom was small and outdated.

A little outdated..could use a little camping up.

Think it looked to be in original condition with no upgrade.

Little bit outdated, rooms and hotel might need some renovation, white plastic sunbeds on the beach are really retro style, less cosy beachside facilities compared to the neighboring hotels

but what  can they do if evrything in poor condition.

however bear in mind that it really needs a refurbishment.

The rooms are in desperate need of a makeover (they've not changed in the 10 or so years that I've been coming back) and one of the highlights (for me) the breakfasts, are not quite what they were either. .

however some room furniture & corridors renovation

but they did come across as a bit old, especially with all the new resorts & upgrades & renovations that seem to be occurring all over Bali.

The only real negative would be the bathroom which  really needed an update

The entire Hotel should be renovated urgently and is far from a 5 Star hotel.

Unfortunately the room was very tired, definitely requires a renovation as it is quite dated.

but needs a refurbishment of the rooms if it wants to keep a high standard

Couldn’t fault the resort, superb, rooms could do with updating!

The 3 restaurants have varied and delicious meals catering for all food needs and preferences.

Breakfast was great really hot food which is a nice change.

Pools and facilities are ample, even attended a free water aerobics class followed by a cooking class with free lunch from the class,
Breakfast was filled with variety of food, fruits and drinks and the staffs were amazing, my hats off to them.

The club is peaceful for breakfast, afternoon tea & evening cocktails.

There are fish, herons and other birds sat in the water besides you while you eat.

I enjoyed dinner at Tamarind, a beachside restaurant.

Back home this meal and experience would easily be around 1000 + I would highly recommend this as I would do this every visit , I don’t know how I could ever top this .

The restaurants are reasonably and offer a range of choice.

The big positive for us is the standard of food, drink and service in the Palace Club Lounge.

3 restaurants (1 was closed during our visit) Amazing breakfasts.

The food was great and the hotel was spotlessly clean.

Here a la carte breakfast ( which was probably the same menu as available in the buffet) was available, afternoon tea and cocktails.

The restaurants were lovely and all staff hospitable and caring.

Everywhere security and video surveillance.

The whole resort precinct in Nusa Dua is gated and security is prevelant

Beautiful hotel with excellent friendly staff who could not be more helpful .Plenty of security guards around the hotel and on the beach .

Security was high in all areas which was pleasing.

every thing was perfect… the kindness of the crew, the food quality and presentation, the room was big with a terrace, the spa, the restaurants decoration, the towels for swimming pool , free activities, the security etc

We picked NDBHS as the establishment offered the only  very unique original Balinese authentic design and layout, beautiful décor,  a vast selections of menu options amongst for 4 in house restaurants, 24/7 in room dining, right on the beach, high attention to security  and seemed to support the local community over some of its international neighbouring resorts who may have potentially had more offshore interest in profits.

We stayed in a connecting room on the ground floor and were a little concerned by the security of the French doors, only held by a small latch.

We had accidentally left the Safe open, and the cleaner notified the Management to the issue and for added security it was double locked.

The Guest Relations officer was also very accommodating with our requests for printing some important documents.

The hotel is right next to a pristine beach that is cleaned daily, with a turquoise clean sea, sheltered and protected.

Even if you walk into the area from the outside there are security checkpoints.

but when hotel “security” tells you it’s the hotel driver one expects the real price first up.

Very impressed with the level of security.

Security was present for this area of beachside resort hotels along with a conference center, especially at night.

Continued with the amplitude and cleanliness of the hall, the gardens with esotic smells and the paramount Balinese lines with the typical local gates, the asiatic lines of the towers, a real gong, the spaces full of flowers and local trees.

I find this pretty unacceptable, in as much as it was never highlighted in any hotel publicity material (so booked before we knew), double Standards because alcohol is really available, and it was explained that bacon was not on the menus because it was not right that if a Muslim was on the next table, they would see and smell the bacon.

The rooms that they gave us were old and dirty with a horrible smell of mold.

The rooms and beddings were smelling bad and musky.

The second room while much better in that the musty smell is not as pronounced is

Air con continually left running 24 hours per day, causing a damp feeing in the bed sheets.

the smell of the flowers make you crazy !!!!

although quite dated and some smell musty, for which there was no need given that it hadn’t rained for around six months.

But there are some tubbish on the terrace like cigarette

The pool area was super busy with lots of smokers (ughhh) and security didn’t want to deal with aggressive people - which was a shame.

We were expecting to be spoiled rotten, that’s why we paid extra for the luxury privileges.

The water for cleaning tooths are stinking.

We woke around 8am the first morning of our stay to an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke in our room.

The room had a really musty smell and we could clearly see they did not clean the toilet nor the bathroom because I had been throwing up and the throw up was behind the toilet still four days later.

(2) It is time to improve the quality of welcome drink, perhaps to replace with lemongrass tea or fragrance coconut or fruits punch.

We were shocked at the condition and as we walked to the room there were dead plants in the planters and cigarette

Laying face down I could smell a mixture of damp and sweat not sure if was from the towel or the table.

Tip for the resort:
Other scent in elevator (now it smells like a toilet refresher).

Really didn't want for anything as shopping, eating, and the beach were all close by (walking distance).

Also they have private beach club not far from the hotel whit shuttle service which bring you there and pick you up every hour the sea is very clean and the have bar  whit a nice cocktails menu and excellent food 
If you look to stay in Nusa dua don’t think twice just book whit  COURTYARD by Marriott 
Definitely I will coming back next time me and my wife already plane for next trip and stay again here

Great location at Nusa Dua, near the beach, and they have private beach too.

The beach club was also very nice and clean, albeit the scorching heat from the sun during my visit.

Our 9 months baby also enjoy her time in the (private) kids club and (private) courtyard beach.

Every time we wanted to go to the beach, they organized a complimentary shuttle within a couple of minutes and we were there after 5 minutes.

Also there is a shuttle bus to the private beach and to the local shopping centre 🤗 special mention to Hovea and Carlos

Conveniently located in Nusa dua within 5 minutes from the most beautiful beach in Bali.

The free shuttle service to the beach club is excellent as is the Bali Collection shuttle which runs hourly - lots os places to eat there.

And close to the Bali collection shopping mall. Hotel provides shuttle service to the beach (7 minutes drive)

It's just chairs on a cornered off section of the beach.

The hotel beach is a free shuttle ride away

but offers a free shuttle service to the beach club all day.

The shower door didnt close fully, the sliding doors to the balcony(room 4008) had condensation running down them and the drawer unit was a bit chipped.

I could hear EVERYTHING in the suite next door.

During my stay I kept hearing door slamming, loud footsteps, dragging furniture and conversations of the people outside the room.

It was extremely uncomfortable, and we ended up using the facilities at the other Marriott resort right next door..

You could hear loud footsteps, echoes, doors slamming, conversations of the people walking by.

We would only return to this hotel if something was done about the awful door slamming!

The only downside was there was a connecting door from our room to our neighbour's and this makes for thin sound barriers.

Nor have I been woken up at 1-3am every morning by the aforementioned guests returning from the bar (with their young children ) shouting at each other in the corridors,  banging doors and watching TV.

Annoying portion is the coming past the gates and at the door: Security checks and all that.

On first day, our room door couldn't open after we went swimming.

Ask for a room without an interconnecting door though if you don't have a family as we were given an interconnecting room with a noisy family on the other side of the door initially

All through the night, you could head people walking up and down the corridors, shouting at each other, banging on the doors.

He came knocking on our door the day before our departure to advise that he would "not be at work tomorrow" and asking if we were happy with his efforts.

All the doors are badly design, it noisy when someone close the door due to the spring load or heavy doors when someone closed the door, it disturb when you are sleeping.

This hotel is actually a good hotel in terms of location and the overall building except the “thin” door (perhaps made by plywood) as I’m quite sensitive to noise.

If you leave 2 centimetre gap under the interconnecting door, you cannot expect sound proofing in any case.

Banging their doors, kids running down the hallway, people having loud arguments at night that everyone can hear.

On April 21 the guest next door was very noisy slamming the door and yelling in the hallway all night.

The rooms are a little dated and the hallways echo at night.

We were generally finished by 930am and there was already a long queue down the hallway to get a seat.

My only complaint is that the hotel corridors are very noisy at night time and in the day when trolleys are moving up and down.

The hallways are cavernous and noisy and soundproofing is lacking.

although we were sure they had other rooms around they seem to like to party in the hall at night and it was very loud as the tile hallways tended to make the noise reverberate.
