we can safely say that this hotel is one of the best in Thailand: good rooms, delicious food, perfect beach, excellent service, beautiful views.

but did enjoy casual lunches at the beach restaurant.

The hotel is situated right on bang Tao beach which is stunning!

There is a complimentary boat and bus shuttle to nearby Laguna shops and restaurants

The rooms are large and well appointed, the public areas spacious and the location between the beach and lagoon ideal.

It is at a good location in Laguna Complex, you can easily get to the beach.

Beach restaurants next door and little town in 5min with shops, supermarket, pharmacy, all you need

As a long term resident of the Laguna, this is a first
And will avoid the hotel in the future.

Hotel is located on the beach front which was very clean.A number of beach 
Bars/ restaurants  are nearby and offer excellent local and European food at very reasonable prices.Lots of young families having a most enjoyable time.

Love being able to go from the pool to the ocean so easily and taking the shuttle between ferry’s and tuk tuks between hotels and Canal village.

The beach is beautiful clean, The Front staff are kind and friendly.

For cocktail, we try Chalong bay rum which is authentic Phuket rum.

The restaurant next to the beach was mesmerising.

This resort has a great view , nice set up of breakfast , provide good selection of reakfast , nice club lounge and excellent staff !

The main part we enjoyed during our stay is the access to the Club Lounge.

The club lounge is lovely and surrounded by greenery and F&B was good.

We really enjoyed the Club Lounge last time and had hoped it would be as good.

The staffs are very courteous and the service standard of Housekeeping Staff, Food&Beverage Staff, Club Lounge as well as Front office is excellent.

The Club lounge was a fantastic additional benefit with a good selection of drinks and canapes in the evening.

Dont forget the cozy Voyager 47 Club Lounge , at the laguna, - serving tapas, cocktails, coffee, tea and drinks - delicious and relaxing in a very beautiful scenery.

The Voyager 47 Club Lounge was visually attractive and was near the lagoon with lots of seating areas near the water.

We had access the club lounge, this is a fab lounge the staff or amazing nothing is any trouble to them they are always smiling.

The service provided to us by the staff at the Club Lounge was excellent.

The restaurants were great and the club lounge was a bonus.

The only down side was the quality of the food in the Club Lounge, apart from that, everything was spot on.

I was a member of a club lounge, so I had access to drinks and snacks which was amazing,,,really worth paying for it.

The club lounge was just fabulous The staff were so professional and attentive and the chefs are excellent providing 5 star canapes in the evening as taster sides from their Voyager 47 menu  with you'r coctails.

Definitely outside the norm for a club lounge anywhere on Asia.

Not the best hotel for couples as I would rate it a family resort with the pools and waterslide and many kids running around.

We had a great 9 night stay with our toddler.

Our room is spacious and the daybed was the perfect replacement for our daughters usual baby cot.

Recommended for family vacation with kids.

She helps us with organisation of daughter’s birthday, restaurants, zipline etc.

The hotel is very clean, meals are great and the room was perfect for us, a family with one child.

The pools are good and one good slide which kept the kids entertained for hours.

My daughter is a coeliac and the staff made a huge effort to make gluten free food.

I wish there could be a few more lifeguards to help ease the parents concerns with kids playing on the beach.

The location and facilities is just perfect specially for kids.

The pool is big and has a huge waterslide which the kids loved and shout out to the kids club and the team of caretakers.

The room was cleanliness  , many  thing for complomentary     , there are  many activities  ,the staff  a very helpful esspecially  Operator/ and foods very deliciuus,the pool  very  goods , and kid clib for children

this time we went there just for relaxing and playing with kids at swimming pool.

The pool area is ok suitable for families and kids.

The hotel in PhiPhi island and Pucket has several swimming pool where the kids can enjoying.

though is that they are very much marketed as a kid friendly family hotel.

There your patio is protected from the wind.

On arrival we are met by security at the entrance barrier whereby all visiting cars/ taxis/transport are security checked underneath  with mirrors.

Really nice day bed great swimming pools with a seperate kids pool and kids club (maintained and monitored) a few small shacks are also next to the pool/beach area not run by the hotel.

The entrance armed guards as well as a few around the pool area - a safe place.

The service here is tremendous from wonderfully welcoming reception, concierge and security to the "nothing is too much trouble" restaurant, bar and room cleaning staff.

Most rooms are more protected facing at an angle the pool,or at the back on the lagoon.

-	I have to commend the staff whether from reception, concierge, the security and the cleaning staff to the restaurant wait staff – they were all friendly and helpful – their warmth felt genuine.

away from the busy town areas, one of the best quietest beaches, and security for the resort also.

All staff greet you with genuine hospitality from the concierge and security staff all the way through to the Sports Coordinator to Senior Management.

The two chaps had gum boots on and security belts?

We were very impressed ,with the cleanliness of the room, which was monitored by the eagle eye of Nok, the charming housekeeper.All surfaces throughout the hotel were immaculate.

Which brings me on to Yai (Mr Piya Tumket) our guest relations officer - not only was he a lovely smiley face everyday, he seemed to interact with the other staff in such a friendly way that cheered everybody up.

In particular the guest relation officer Mr Piya Tumket whose cheerful demeanour brightens our stay.

Special thanks to the Guest relations officer who speaks great Korean.

We felt like we were welcomed as friends every day, not strangers there for a short time.

For those who plan to hit the beach, might face disappointment during this monsoon season, as the tides are high and the hotel security did good job in securing the guests' safety.

When we arrived at the resort, I felt that I am going to enjoy my stay as the guest officers and receptionists gave us a very warmth Thai welcome with smiles, galants and welcome drinks with cool towels.

It was milk-time for our youngest and the guest-relations officer, Fang, offered to sit us at the lounge and even got hot-water for baby's bottle.

Really can't understand the logic as credit card copy I'd good enough security.

A couple of grumbles in that smoking is allowed around the pool and the sun beds have seen better days.

There were so many kids around too and people were chain smoking 🙄

One room smelled so bad that it burned our eyes.

I paid my room about 400usd per night and was full of coachroaches dirty all around bedsheet smelling bed and custoner service at its worse.

Outdated rooms, mildew smell, the pool is not maintained, the photos on the website do not reflect the reality, the dining room staff is not helpful.

The bread was stale beyond words, we couldn’t eat it.

We had tears in our sheets, the room smelt of damp, service is slow and the staff don’t seem to know much about the resort.

This is just disgusting and shows the type of management of this hotel.

The smell is too traumatising to go back.

Coffee bag without the filer in room can not help a coffee-lover.. 
the smell when we entered the room is excellent, I bought a bottle of lemongrass essence oil when we checked out.

It stinks with a combination of metallic/sulfurous odors.

Nor do I expect to smell a strong stench of the drains when using the sink.

9) The floor of the hotel room was filthy.

Dark ,musty and old.The bathroom was really tiny and no double basin.

Woke to a very loud diesel motor outside door and a huge fog of toxic gas.

241 had a strong smell of damp, so we asked to change.

but when we checked in it was a bit musty and my wife's allergy reacted badly to it, so they moved us immediately to a sea view room with a free upgrade.

Staff were very friendly and willing to help with anything.

The hotel has great facilities and wonderful staff.

The staff has been excellent, sincerely listening and supportive to make it our best stay possible.

Friendly and service minded Staff, great with the Kids.

The staff were polite and helpful which makes our booking in experience all the more difficult to fathom.

All over this Saii Laguna Phuket.. is a lovely place to stay. .

Dec. 12-2023 at about 3.00 PM Drove to the hotel as was going to meet a friend in the lobby and was planning to book the Thai Restaurant  Mr Tomyam.

Its an attractive Thai style and requires investment (discreet refurbishment underway) 

We went there 3 nights and were stuffed with delicious thai dishes.

Restaurants were all very good with incredible thai and european food.

The cons - by Thai standards for the cost of this hotel it is genuinely sub-standard.

We had a great time there for the Thai new year Songkran weekend.

The staff are very Thai friendly and food is divers and good.

Thai boxing is also available by appointment on the hotel app, and one of the teachers for this class, Kwang, is very capable and kind.

We went out onto beach where you can get sunbeds for a 100 Thai baht and drinks and food much cheaper from locals.

Thai dance and Zumba dance were especially enjoyed by my child.

When u walk on the beach there are a few shacks where u can get local Thai food.

One can opt for different cuisines from Thai to Italian to Mediterranean.

From Muay Thai to Tennis he taught us so much.

Breakfast buffet ( ala carte ) was delicious with a choice of Western and Thai Food.

Some nights there were special buffets such as Thai Street Food, seafood, Thai buffet these were also excellent.

Along the west coast, White Beach is backed by palm trees, bars and restaurants.

The beautiful multi- faceted pool of the hotel near the beach with its bar is another interesting venue for relaxation.

The entire experience set the bar for resort holidays quite high.

My children's bar level has been raised again!

Shangri-La Boracay is, bar none, the best hotel-resort that we have stayed at.

The Burger at  Shangri-la Cielo beach bar was a hit with my kids,  ordered every afternoon.

The infinity swimming pool with the panoramic view of Banyugan Beach invites one to hang out, read a book, or enjoy a cocktail at the Cielo Poolside Restaurant and Bar.

Next stop is the pool bar, with a great menu for snacks while lounging right in the middle of a huge infinity pool.


The Shangri-La Boracay is a stunning resort, with its own private beach and set in purely idyllic surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of Boracay’s bars and clubs.

The only evening entertainment was a live band at the pool bar in the evening.

The pool bar is well- priced and food is tasty.

The hotel facilities were brilliant, the pool, breakfast bar, cocktail bar, Chi Spa were absolutely fantastic.

Nice bars and restaurants including Rima for Mediterranean food and Sirena for sundowners.

Here we spend most of our dinners as the chef de cuisine, Mr. Shanmuga Raja Ravi was first extremly nice and helpful and second the fish was really tasty and well cooked and the staff (special thanks to Alma and Lara) was very kind too and took care us for all our belongings really perfect … again, a big „thank you“ to all at SIRENA for all the nice dinners and another special „thank you“ to Franz from the SIRENA bar and Prince for taking lovely pictures from us at the SIRENA lounge.

1) Food - Resort has various in house restaurants and bars.

Breakfast in the main dining area was fantastic, with plenty of options, juice bar, doughnut wall, and chefs on site to cook for your preferences.

There is a free shuttle to White Beach so we spent half a day there as it’s lively, has a selection of shops, bars, water activities etc.

The private beaches are gorgeous and are decked out with life guards, comfy recliners, towels and umbrellas.

We stayed Tree-top house which faces station O Beach.

The treehouse villa was fabulous- two stories with a jacuzzi on the balcony and a panoramic view of the beach.

Sunset dinner by the pool (beach front) was splendid

I'm writing this sitting on Banyugan Beach early Saturday evening listening to live music and soaking up a beautiful sunset.

In the Pungta Bunga beach, special attractions were sailing with gateway under skipper Mel who was simply brilliant.

Big pools.. comfortable beach couch, clean facilities and of course very peaceful.

Stayed in Room 529 with excellent views across the beach - close to reception & restaurants.

Interior design, private beach location, wonderful staff, and the best breakfast ever!

We had 2x Unique private dining.. 1st at the Sea Pavillion and the 2nd was by the beach.

If you want more privacy (comparing to the main beach), nice facilities, clean beach, nice pool & good food.. well I think this is for you 😊 Worth your money.

It offers utmost privacy and serenity with great view of the sea and the private beach from our private pool and gazebo.

Unlike here we have the beach to ourselves.

Robert would actually visit us at the beach during sundown because he knew were to find us.

About the beach, the sand was not as fine as powder. But i think it was clean ;)

So depends what you are looking for your holiday… Also I would recommend  to have a quiet area including on the beach .

Just came from a trip in Nusa Dua, Bali and it was a far cry from it.

I noted the price of PHP1,600 for the Papaya treatment

Or if the view is not important to you, you can stay on a Deluxe room which is much cheaper.. Our room have coconut trees infront of our balcony.. blocking the view lols

On our first day, I ate laksa & nasi goreng & got sick the next day.

The hotel is beautiful and perfect, my only concern is that the location is too far from where my friends are staying and since the island has a curfew at 1am, it's quite expensive and difficult to go back to the hotel after a night of partying.

but surprisingly I was given a quotation for the fee I need to pay which totally doesn’t make sense.

but buying them directly from the hotel is an unnecessary cost.

You don't have to be with a lot of people in a boat nor fall in line to pay your dues.

But we knew this was out of the price range for most of our guests so we decided to have only the ceremony at Shangri-La and reception at Crimson Resort.

However there are many problems here which will impact your stay, for my mind this is totally unacceptable when paying the price they are charging for accommodation.

We ordered a bottle of champagne every day, a little expensive,

but to fork out on meals at inflated rates.

I was told that I had to pay a premium price for "peak hours" only to find out that nobody would want to play there anyway and nobody else was in fact there other than us.

This is definitely not something you want put on you at the last minute given the price of the hotel per night especially being a young couple!

I'm not typically one to splurge out on a Loft Villa, as they cost a fair amount more than a regular room,

After I paid, I walked back to the lobby to catch a tuk-tuk and was chased down by Aries.

From the food to the services such an outstanding job.

Food is great, rooms are squeaky clean, and the facilities are just Fantabulous.

So easy to spend several hours relaxing, swimming, reading and then ordering something to eat and drink without leaving your recliner.

the food in all their restaurants are all superb, tastes great and delicious!

Would definitely go back for another long weekend to dine at Rima which reopened on the day we checked out.

Food, service, view, attention to detail, everything was outstanding except high-priced.

The breakfast buffet was spectacular, with lots of selections, including fresh smoothies, sushi, and a wall of donuts.

Food and room service was superb & deserving of 5 star rating.

Other than that, foods and drinks were fantastic.

Coming to the food- they have amazing selections.

We finished with a private dinner, Levi, Patrick and Lester made our night!

We actually had a company event.It was a bit pricey.But we understood because the food was great,amenities superb!

We had a great time at Sirena Restaurant.

If we stayed more than 4D3N we can probably exhaust the menu.

Among the amazing people is Prince, he was one of the waiters assigned in our sessions/meetings and buffet dinners on the first two nights of our stay.

We tried their Unique Private Dining and the food was superb.

Kudos to the officers and staff of Shangri-La Boracay!

Well life guards and security man are more accommodating and helpful.. they take pride on their job.
