I expected a casino much like other Ontario casinos, I was so wrong……….

Way easier than going to the bridge and walking through the casino.

They are missing attention to details in the hotel like picking up glasses and bottles that are everywhere in the casino and just plain good housekeeping.

We got a voucher for $10 each for food at the hotel when we signed up for the casino rewards.

The casino, the coliseum, and the hotel take up a lot of real estate, so you have to walk a lot to get where you want to go.

We booked this hotel for a 1 night stay over the weekend  The hotel is directly connected to the casino for convenience.

The rooms are once again, a walk through the casino,

I got there several hours early valet, park the car my girlfriend showed up with valet parked her car we went did some visiting outside the casino.

Great parking options (Free parking in parking garage) Good options in food selection, nice to see it has a 24hr Tim Hortons in the Casino.

but you can’t take them from area to area or into the casino.

So, have to walk all they way back through the casino find a restaurant and eat.

They have a not-bad casino and that's it, otherwise I highly-recommend you don't throw your money in trash by coming here especially if you're looking solely for a hotel.

If you choose to not use valet, you can park across the street for free and drag your luggage across the walkway and about 1,000 yards through the casino floor to registration.

The casino is very clean and spacious with good slots, tables and restaurants.

Nice hotel with a large casino, very good selection of restaurants, and nice, spacious rooms.

They make you walk through multiple sections of casino and the signage is poor.

Dirty glasses, probably means poor cleaning, which means flies.

Assumption is: you know where you're going as a first timer, which leads to a poor experience and will not return.

His demeanor and attitude towards us was very poor and un acceptable.

Contributing to the poor experience overall was the early closure of all on property food and beverage.

But poor or nonexistent services and amenities has no place in the hospitality business.

They installed new shower heads with really poor water pressure.

Top Take-Away: Really poor internet in-rooms, otherwise would be 5 out of 5.

Could use improvement, dealer was not very enthusiastic to say the least and both cocktails bought and drinks from beverage bar were of poor quality.

But the casino has a very poor comp system.

Did I say hard to connect, that's only the 1st part of poor service?

it was a room with no view, no WIFI, just poor service on that aspect.

Casino rewards poor, casino staff and management treat customers like trash.

 Service is poor, no recognition of being a diamond guest with Caesars, rude check in staff, amenities in room are poor and didn't even get replaced during a 4 night stay.. was told to stay at the MGM in Detroit by a colleague, should have listened.

I booked my room a few months prior to the date.

The room is beautiful and spacious, the bathroom is HUGE with all of the high quality amenities, and the staff were very pleasant.

The room was clean,  well decorated and comfortable.

She told me I had 5 mins to vacate the room and then had security stand outside my door as i got my things onto the bell cart.

We were there three nights and had our do not disturb since up the whole time since we don't need the room cleaned in that short of a trip and housekeeping never came in, which we appreciated!

The rooms were reasonably sized, and we had great views across the river to Detroit (we were in the tower).

I was very unimpressed with the hotel room at the Augustus Tower.

The room was clean and large even with a king bed.

Pretty Caesars property, great food at Spago's, slot machines tight Great view  of downtown Detroit from our 11th floor room.

We booked 2 rooms and was reassured they were connecting rooms (even confirmed with front desk when checking in)

The check in was awesome and the room was as well (except someone had set it at 59 degrees F).

We enjoyed the entertainment, shopping, clean rooms, wonderful staff and food.

Anyway not going to complain about Caesars because their rooms are always clean, people very pleasant!

Our room was clean and upgraded since the last time I had stayed at the casino.

The room was clean and I was given an extra day for free and the staff were excellent.

but now they are charging you $20.00 to check in early unless you are Diamond Status, there is also a resort fee now as well, next thing you know they will be charging for parking (good thing I take the train)  The rooms are still really clean and the staff are friendly in the casino and the security are as well but the front desk staff not too friendly.

Great location, clean rooms, mini-fridge available; quite a walk from the on-site parking lot to the check in area and then again to the room if you are in the far wing.

Room was clean, overlooked the river to the US side.

Stayed for two nights and the room was clean and well maintained.

Room was clean comfortable and we had a wonderful view of the river.

This is a great place to visit nice clean rooms,great eating places and pleasant staff and the slot machines are fun to play..A special praise for Ramona Popa who went out of her way to help with our internet connection.We will be back and I highly recommend this Hotel Casino.

I booked a very comfortable and clean room at Caesar’s for a girl’s night out.

The room was very clean, casino was clean and no one blowing smoke in your face, parking was free and all of the staff were friendly.

I requested the Augustus tower because it’s close to the ballroom our party was in.

If you like shows and gambling, definitely a place to visit.

Entertainment and restaurants are top notch.

but know what you are in for if choosing this hotel for anything other than gambling and shows

Great place to watch live shows in the Colosseum too.

Going forward I will attend whatever show I was there to see and get the hell out of Dodge asap

The long and short of it is, the casinos are great, the entertainment lively, and the restaurants seemed fine (though bars are super understaffed), and we had some great service in the in-casino restaurants,

My wife and I stayed the night at Caesars as my work was having our holiday party in one of the ballrooms.

The room and the show were amazing… Their ability to serve everyone was much to be desired!

Band was playing both nights at bar and was great entertainment.

Also, the entrance to the Friday night show was mismanaged.

We not only had great food and a wonderful DJ that had us dancing most of the evening

Though part of the Caesars Entertainment group, this Windsor outpost seems to share little in common with any of it's Vegas stablemates.

You’ll get a coloured bracelet for each day……just show it for all entries that day.

I love spending time there and watching the shows and the bands they have are always top notch and very entertaining and the beer is always cold

but not least enjoy world class entertainment.

Great service, great accommodations, great entertainment.

(I should probably add: if there is parking space available on-site, it will cost you an additional $68 per night. Oh and there is also an additional, "reverable" $100 damage deposit charged at check in, which I have still not had returned more than a week later.)

BUT what they don’t say is that the offsite parking will be more than the $68….our lot will charge us $60 for overnight

Then Jose came to assist with our USB outlets & when it was going to take longer than expected he brought us water & wall charges to tide us over until he could fix it.

but there is a card with the channel list.

Gave a 4 instead of a 5 because I was unaware until checkin that they charge a daily $33 amenities fee.

Very welcoming and no hidden charges or fees.

We told the front desk we were celebrating a birthday as well, they proceeded to send a card and wine up to the room!

Tom, the operations manager, left a birthday card and balloons for my son in our room and made him feel like a total rockstar!

Only thing I wasn’t expecting were some of the hidden fees that were charged at the hotel, a 30$ fee is charged at check-in for bottled water, coffee, records and breakfast along with pool use, and another 200$ is charged for a security deposit

They charge a manditory  scammy resort fee that basically gets you access to a wading pool and the worst breakfast I've had in a long time.

We did get a credit for the activities fee for the night.

Why was I charged for this when I didn’t even get to try it?

nevertheless, since I used Expedia, I was charged $140 additionally for amenities (including pool and breakfast).

My one and only complaint is the exuberant valet charge.

There is a $25 per night charge per room for the WiFi and the continental breakfast in the morning.

My only real complaint would be the steep charge for valet parking ($65 per night),

Consider carefully if you are going to have a car because they charge $65 a night to park your car there.

but if I'm paying extra I'd rather the money go for good beds and an elevator instead of a lot of staging.

There is no elevator, so remember that when you pack that heavy bag.

Only two issues:  1) did not know there was no elevator to my room, fortunately I had a light suitcase as I was only there two nights, 2) unable to reach hotel staff after my stay regarding my bill and no one returned my voicemail.

Two small nits to pick: $68 valet parking was higher than expected, no elevators in this vintage hotel, so lugging suitcases up the stairs wasn't ideal.

There are no elevators (in case you prefer rooms on the second floor).

No elevator: only relevant if you have multiple bags

But like many a two story motel, this place does not have an elevator so if you're on the second floor, expect to walk a couple short flights.

Also, no elevator in the building (only 2 floors).

Lacks elevator which wasn't a huge deal for us

The trek to our room on the second floor,(there is no elevator) was not user friendly.

but the hotel lacks basics, like even an elevator.

Why isn’t this review rated excellent - there is no elevator to the second floor (I have a disability) and the on site parking was very expensive at $68, double than comparable Boston properties.

If you cannot do stairs, request a room on the first floor, as the second floor is not accessible and has no elevator access

He helped us load up our cart to bring up to the room and even helped transfer our luggage so the second cart on the 2nd floor (unfortunately no elevator).

Right by Fenway Park and in walking distance to the T.   The staff was extremely friendly and was very helpful.

Also great music selection with a truntable in every room and as close to Fenway park amd Berklee music school as you can get.

We chose it because of the close proximity to Fenway Park, since we were there for a game.

I really enjoyed this hotel because it’s proximity to Fenway Park.

Location is great — close to Fenway Park and within walking distance of the T. The rooms are clean, and each one has a record player, with vinyls that you can borrow from the lobby.

the verb is close to all of the Fenway park area, too, which was perfect.

The location is amazing for anyone who loves the Red Sox as it is right near Fenway Park!

We chose it because of the location near Fenway Park.

But the only reason they can command such a high price is proximity to Fenway Park.

It’s right next to Fenway Park and walking distance to many favorite destinations!

Great access to the Fenway area (the park is literally out the window) and a short walk to MGM music hall and House of Blues.

I was happy to see a live musician playing guitar at breakfast.

The fact that much of the rock and roll memorabilia is Boston-based and some of it is functional (a guitar and amp in the lobby; a pretty decent Fender J-Bass in the men's room), makes it feel less like some random assistant went to the R&R prop store to gather decorations.

Especially on Saturday with the live music.

Classic vinyl music that you can take one from lounge to your room to listen.

Lots of blasts from the past with the music posters and records to chose from.

Easy valet parking, great music to choose from and dining suggestions.

A real treat for music (especially Rock) lovers.

Retro, music themed vibe, and royal, extremely friendly and welcoming treatment by staff makes you feel like you are a rock star yourself returning home!

My mom followed and we both marveled at how amazing it was to be sitting in this 70s styled tour bus- with a guitar, radio and record player handy.

and Crisela Amador accommodated us with vegan waffles while Joe played great live music..we're still here till tomorrow;)) for my daughter's birthday!

Oh yeah- impeccably clean, great music and sooo close to the MFA.

The Verb Hotel is a great hotel with a super vibe — a must-stay for music enthusiasts.

If you are going to the house of blues or MGM music hall, there isn’t a better place to stay.

but you can enjoy free music of your choosing  in your room without  worries of listening to others choices.

Retro music themed, turntables are furnished in every room on which you can play vinyl records from the extensive library in the lobby.

The decor is so entertaining (music posters, etc.

The included breakfast was soo good, with so many different options and live music to listen to while you ate!

The lobby was amazing, I was so excited to see the abundance of albums, and rock and roll memorabilia throughout the hotel.

I agree with all the positive comments about the hotel itself: clean facilities, convenient location, serious commitment to the rock & roll theme (in the best way possible).

From the get go you’ll notice a cool collection of memorabilia displayed throughout, kind of a mini rock and roll hall of fame.

They put so much attention to details and carry the retro Rock’n’Roll theme  throughout the entire hotel .

This was our second time staying there, and they treated us like rock star royalty.

They actually treated me like a rock star, which helps cause I was playing their guitar in the lobby 🎸.

We all love selection of vinyl to play in our room.

The icing on the cake was the turntable in the room.

Awesome room darkening curtains, turntable and vinyl was Awesome (Led Zeppelin and Bowie favorites).

The room was clean, fun and well appointed. We can't wait to go back again (and again and again!)

We booked a room at The Verb and were greeted by Leo and Mackenzie.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the front desk staff were all friendly and impressive.

The room was nice and clean, and the staff were friendly and made sure that my son’s room was in the same corridor.

The room was comfortable - loved the bed and pillows.

The rooms are good sized,  the beds are comfy, the staff is great and the neighborhood is lively and lovely.

It has a laid back atmosphere, the rooms are clean and the staff is awesome and super helpful!

The turntable in the room and the vinyl library are a nice touch.

The room was spectacular the employees were amazing, the restaurant was phenomenal, enough good things cant be said about The Verb, we will definitely be back!

He gave us a phone charger to use in our room and we enjoyed a wonderful conversation.

A real door on hinges with locks would make these room close to perfect.

We asked for an early check-in and were upgraded to a trailer room.

Every room has a record player and we were encouraged to bring records from lobby to room.

Not only could we pick out and listen to our favorite records in our room- we had the best dinner at Hojoko, and after I went out to see a show at the Sinclair in Cambridge I came “home” and got a drink to take to my room.

Best place to stay when you're in Lisbon. A historic building with irs own soul :-)

A great stay at this magnificent classic hotel.

The hotel, located in a perfect area of Lisbon,  is a historical hotel.

If you enjoy traveling to well kept and maintained historical site, with an amazing team who only wants to make certain your experience is pleasant then you just found your home in Lisbon!

If you want historic, best location in the middle of everything, great views, great staff, this is the place.

The hotel is beautiful and historical, we had room 416 with a statue to the right of our window.

The location was perfect for visiting the sites of historic Lisbon.

This is a classy place and I'd recommend anyone going to Lisbon stay there.

The hotel is classic old school with beautiful areas to enjoy.

The hotel is extremely ornate and historical in design.

Apart from being a most elegant and historic hotel, with an impeccably professional and friendly staff and a top flight breakfast buffet, this classic luxury-beauty from 1892 - ideally positioned slam in the middle of everything the city has to offer - has a really great ambience.

Perfect location, caring staff, personal service and classic old world European charm.

This hotel had all the classic charm supplemented with all the modern touches the traveller of today requires including lots of chargers and a fully charged no cost I phone in your room to take out and about with you if required.

The Avenida location within historic Lisbon is the best.

We chose Hotel Avenida Palace because we are very fond of historic hotels.

From the moment you walk through the doors everything is beautiful, the staff is courteous and caring, classic and charming hotel.

but also for its historical connections - you will be staying in a building which in its time has hosted not only the rich and famous but also Spies, secret agents, world celebrities, Royalty, and of course, Alves Reis, arch conman and brilliant criminal mind, who used the Palace bar as his office, ( do go for a look at his house, The Casa do Menhino D’Oro, The house of the golden boy, and then afterwards visit the home of Amalia Rodrigues, which is close by, Amalia’s pet parrot, Chico, will welcome you!)
