Overall, taken all parameters into account, we would not stay here again and believe there are better options, more affordable in the neighborhood.

The quality of your stay will depend very much on your neighbours.

We hardly heard our neighbors and only saw people if we chose to use the dining room for meals.

but it does block out hearing the neighbors during the day and traffic from the outside.

Beautiful tree lined paths, inviting shady areas or sunny poolside spots were never crowded.

Make use of the mosquito coils, repellent spray and nets during your stay
• Noisy neighbours.

Do not go with the driver they recommend - we used him on our first day and he did not listen to what we wanted and dropped us off at dodgy places several times!

Our villa was very private, we could barely hear our neighbours.

Many areas of the hotel and our villa itself were decked with wooden beams, a lot of which were aged and warped from the sun and in some areas a touch dangerous because they were on the verge of lifting up.

The hotel also has a private beach club along Nusa Dua beach and it’s without a doubt the best location along the Nusa Dua coastline.

Situated a leisurely five minute walk to gorgeous Nusa Dua beach and Bali Collection for shopping this is the perfect location to enjoy everything Bali has to offer the discernible traveler.

It is a short walk to Nusa Dua beach which is clean an d there is a private area for Amarterra patrons.

Also the Nusa Dua beach is a mere 5 minutes walk away through the back gate and it has a special designated area there for the resort residents with sun beds, towels and a shower.

Just a short walk to your own private clean section of Nusa dua beach.

They have a private beach area with sun beds on the nusa dua beach, which also was the best stretch of beach on our trip.

The villas are a short walk to Nusa Dua beach, where Amarterra has a dedicated area, complete with on beach staff.

The location of the villa is very close to Nusa Dua beach.

although I wasn't too impressed with Nusa Dua beach in general.

Not to mention also the location of the hotel in regards to the beautiful Nusa Dua beach and other nearby attractions eg.

Nusa dua beach was a 5 minute walk from the hotel, with Amartera beach club providing towels and free bottles of water !

In this Hotel You can find peaceful and privacy, when You stay there time is stop and You can enjoy silence and get relax in Your in villa jacuzzi and private pool .

The private pool is amazing and outdoor living area like something of dreams.

Each villa has its own private pool and sitting area and the rooms themselves are spacious and well appointed.

The private portion is a relief and congrats to the beach boy who relentlessly clean the beach.

The private beach area is a short walk, and easily done everyday.

The villa is huge with a decent private pool, outdoor living room, spacious bedroom and nice bathroom with jacuzzi.

I stayed at one-bedroom villa that consist of living room, master bedroom, and private pool.

The one bedroom villa is huge , 200 square meters, with private pool and indoor jacuzzi to relax in full privacy.

Big private pool, wide and comfy living room and also nice bedroom with big bathroom and jacuzzi as well.

We love the hotel property and its quietness.

The team were very friendly and helpful, especially Rai who was always there to assist and make sure our short staycation worth the time.

Everyone were so great, Julian, Rai, Indah at front and Candra, Anna at restaurant also hosekeeping, can't remmeber all their name 😅.

The area of BTDC Nusa Dua is very clean, and quiet.

Rai - one of the duty managers (on his duty days) - for helping us with the many questions that we had about Bali, helping with our Nusa Penida trip and most of all, for his great attitude towards his guests, keeping us well-attended to, in such an easy-going manner.

For the very moment we were greeted by Jon at 1am to the moment Mr Rai and his team bid us farewell we had the most wonderful experience.

Hotel have very good working housekeeping , great cosmetics, and good choice of nice in villa massages.

We had the pleasure of having a one hour massage and the masseuses were very well trained.

We had also great massage in the Villa and a very great room service from breakfast to dinner.

Was great to have a beach restaurant and massage parlour right behind the Amarterra section.

Here there are heaps of shops, a few massage places and half a dozen ok restaurants.

I would definitely recommend having massages as those almost sent us to sleep.

The full body massage which was set up in the room was definitely a thing you cant miss.

The spa is relaxing both even for the kids.

Enjoying Bali to the fullest with calm ambience and indoor activities such as swimming, gym and massage.

The spa is great, we especially enjoyed the 3 hour Dharma of Love.

We also had complimentary 1hour massage which was just heaven.

We loved the outside shower and also made use of the spa bath whilst watching a downpour from a tropical storm.

My wife organised a romance package for me which included a couples massage at the Amarterra Spa and a 5 course dinner next to our pool at our villa and an 8 hour day trip.

From the private pool to the spa bath to the outdoor shower, we were living in a dream which we never wanted to end.

Private beach access, tremendous staff, fantastic spa and terrific restaurant.

The beds feature mosquito nets and the bathrooms are huge with two person spa bath and two semi-outdoor showers.

There are two outdoor showers, double basins in the bathroom and a large spa bath.

Really didn't want for anything as shopping, eating, and the beach were all close by (walking distance).

Also they have private beach club not far from the hotel whit shuttle service which bring you there and pick you up every hour the sea is very clean and the have bar  whit a nice cocktails menu and excellent food

Great location at Nusa Dua, near the beach, and they have private beach too.

The beach club was also very nice and clean, albeit the scorching heat from the sun during my visit.

Our 9 months baby also enjoy her time in the (private) kids club and (private) courtyard beach.

Every time we wanted to go to the beach, they organized a complimentary shuttle within a couple of minutes and we were there after 5 minutes.

Also there is a shuttle bus to the private beach and to the local shopping centre 🤗 special mention to Hovea and Carlos

Conveniently located in Nusa dua within 5 minutes from the most beautiful beach in Bali.

The free shuttle service to the beach club is excellent as is the Bali Collection shuttle which runs hourly - lots os places to eat there.

And close to the Bali collection shopping mall. Hotel provides shuttle service to the beach (7 minutes drive)

It's just chairs on a cornered off section of the beach.

The shower door didnt close fully, the sliding doors to the balcony(room 4008) had condensation running down them and the drawer unit was a bit chipped.

I could hear EVERYTHING in the suite next door.

During my stay I kept hearing door slamming, loud footsteps, dragging furniture and conversations of the people outside the room.

It was extremely uncomfortable, and we ended up using the facilities at the other Marriott resort right next door..

You could hear loud footsteps, echoes, doors slamming, conversations of the people walking by.

We would only return to this hotel if something was done about the awful door slamming!

The only downside was there was a connecting door from our room to our neighbour's and this makes for thin sound barriers.

Nor have I been woken up at 1-3am every morning by the aforementioned guests returning from the bar (with their young children ) shouting at each other in the corridors,  banging doors and watching TV.

Annoying portion is the coming past the gates and at the door: Security checks and all that.

On first day, our room door couldn't open after we went swimming.

Ask for a room without an interconnecting door though if you don't have a family as we were given an interconnecting room with a noisy family on the other side of the door initially

All through the night, you could head people walking up and down the corridors, shouting at each other, banging on the doors.

He came knocking on our door the day before our departure to advise that he would "not be at work tomorrow" and asking if we were happy with his efforts.

All the doors are badly design, it noisy when someone close the door due to the spring load or heavy doors when someone closed the door, it disturb when you are sleeping.

This hotel is actually a good hotel in terms of location and the overall building except the “thin” door (perhaps made by plywood) as I’m quite sensitive to noise.

If you leave 2 centimetre gap under the interconnecting door, you cannot expect sound proofing in any case.

Banging their doors, kids running down the hallway, people having loud arguments at night that everyone can hear.

On April 21 the guest next door was very noisy slamming the door and yelling in the hallway all night.

The rooms are a little dated and the hallways echo at night.

We were generally finished by 930am and there was already a long queue down the hallway to get a seat.

My only complaint is that the hotel corridors are very noisy at night time and in the day when trolleys are moving up and down.

The hallways are cavernous and noisy and soundproofing is lacking.

although we were sure they had other rooms around they seem to like to party in the hall at night and it was very loud as the tile hallways tended to make the noise reverberate.

The only downside would be the walls of the room felt extremely thin, you could hear everything that was happening in the next room and hear people’s conversations as they walked down the corridor.

The corridors were filled with cigarette smoke.

I would agree with previous reviews that the hall ways are noisy so if you like to sleep in late or go to bed early this may not be the hotel for you.

They are loud in the corridors late at night, when other guests are trying to sleep!

We were warmly greeted and asked if they could provide assistance every time we met in the hallway.

But the rooms and hallways can use some updating.

My only complain is that all the rooms are pretty noisy, even the suites - prepare to experience a lot of noise from neighbors, people talking loudly at the corridors, and others drinking and partying in the pool outside.

Overall we had a lovely relaxing stay here, only spoilt by children running up and down the corridors very early in the morning, rooms could be better soundproofed!

There was a bit of noise from the hallway on a few of the nights.

Although this hotel does not have direct access to the nusa dua beach, they provide shuttle every hour to bring you to the beach, so I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!

The location of the hotel is 5 min drive with the hotel's mini bus to the nusa dua beach and also same distance to the bali galeria foodcourt / open air mall.

We also did the bike ride with the activities team which took us down to the Nusa Dua beach for a ride along the beach path in the late afternoon which was great.

It is well connected to Nusa Dua beach and I would recommend staying here for people who want to stay closer to the Beach.

If you want a quiet place to enjoy, then Nusa Dua beach is the place.

For those who want fast access to the beautifull Nusa Dua beach, We couldn’t recommend any better!

For those who prefer fast access to the beautifull Nusa Dua beach, I can recommand this hotel!

Location is strategically located within a short distance to Bali collection and the Nusa Dua Beach.

The poor lady has to singled handedly manage the station and take orders.

This very poor form for such a reputable brand.

because Courtyard is the poor relation in the Marriott family.

We generally try to avoid big business chain hotels like Hilton, Hyatt etc, due to poor experiences in the past.

The buffets dinners we’ve always enjoyed at other hotels in Bali were expensive and very poor value for money , not the variety of choices you would normally find, hence hardly anyone was attending .

the sound-insulation of the room was really poor, we couldn't sleep as soon as anybody was passing by the room or just chatting on the neighboring rooms.

I think all the rooms in the hotel is with poor sound proofing.

Check in and subsequent staff, average to poor.

The reason why I gave it only 3 stars is because the maintenance is poor.

but for stretching or yoga it would be ok. 
- in evenings you'll use your smatrphone's\hotel's flashlight as outside lighting is poor.

However the wifi connection is kinda poor in here, other than that were totally great, the staffs very friendly and warmth!

After booking out of Seven Angels Villa's due to poor hygene and appalling Service the Marriott  a much welcomed slice of Luxury.

Food at the only restaurant very much poor.

I don't think the other guests were being unnaturally loud, it was just poor soundproofing.

We have experiencing poor service since we enter our room.

Its our first time in nusa dua area, we liked the quietness.

But the best part is the restaurant and breakfast section staff they really now how to spoil you the manager and his staff are very polite people and going around the floor all the time to check you always happy and don’t miss anything and if you have some special requests they will do anything to make it for you.

We stay 7 day melia hotel is very good .staf friendly .Had an amazing every saterday night at the Latino fiesta at the Sateria restaurant in Melia Bali resort.

Lots of cafes and restaurants just across the hotel including very cheap rental of motor bikes and scooters

But for those who want to get the completeness of the hotel and the food, I don't recommend it at all.

The food was very good, excellent service from the staff, and the pool was more than amazing (huge, deep enough to have exercise, and had sufficient sun ray).

He introduced me to bubur menado “balinese style”, it was tasty!

The restaurants staff was really helpful and treat us like a family !

Yummy breakfast and meals, attentive and genuine care from the people, well maintained facility, great yet affordable massage.

Had breakfast and dinner in Momo Cafe and another light dinner in Dapur Santai.

We like the food from Momo cafe (including the egg benedict and pizza) and it is also located right beside the giant swimming pool.

2) First night we had dinner in Restaurant -food really  good and not expensive- superb service.

Staff - from housekeeping to restaurant, check-in to security guards (yes they take security seriously here) - all of them were friendly and professional. 2.

though the hotel was running reduced service, plus the threat of corona virus Everything was excellent, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the breakfast and barbecue lunch was amazing.

Sellers are well organized and didn't push guests to buy their souvenirs or massage service.

Located within one area of around 3ha with the newly built The Marriott Gardens apartment service hotel with its own lobby.

The quality of the food and the service and attentiveness from the crews was at all time great and was one of the highlight during our stay.

As a hotelier I would like to highlight that the service here was in on the highest level.

The staff and service were amazing, always willing to help in any way.

My hubby and I were really satisfied to the service of this hotel.

Service is excellent and truly exemplifies  culture of Bali.

Any issue highlighted was attended to immediately which shows the efficiency of service.

A gym, a spa, their own shuttle service to the beach, 2 big pools and a jacuzzi.

We sampled all three on site and couldn’t fault the food or service.

For two mornings I was disappointed with the eggs served as the yolks stank.

The dampness ruined my whole mood and my whole honeymoon.

Most of the old pillows cases and the towels no more white, most of the five stars hotels pillows and towels are WHITE and smell fresh, I cannot believe your 5 stars hotels is worse than many other 4 stars hotels. 2.

My husband had a heart attack on February he is not supposed to breath strong paint fumes.

I had unfortunately sustained a nasty sprain to my ankle in Seminyak before we arrived.

I paid to have some laundry done and they also came back smelling musty.

When I arrived the toilet had urine stains which was unpleasant.

So there was a strong painting smell nearby.

but the front desk told me he was off so I spoke to assistant front office manager Frans Selamat Simanjuntak
Who helped me a lot through this disgusting situation I had pictures and video of this incident on that room.

Old furnishing, dirty windows, pungent smell of mould etc.

On the day of check-in, the room had a weird smell.

The pool was disgusting, so cloudy you couldnt see the bottom, looked dirty and full of leaves - not a chance would i have gone in.

There were many rooms with a humid smell.

But it seems like that problem couldnt fix properly, so we can see and smell the mould and water drifting from the corridor outside to the room ceiling inside.

Cons; All the hallways in the hotel smelt like mould clearly the ceilings need replacing as you can see the water stagnant on there, the hallways are too dark with the black tiled floor.

We headed off to the beach expecting as advertised a pristine beach and were very disappointed, it was low tide and the water surface was covered in plastic bottles,cartons and wrapers along with an unknown slimy residue of sorts.
