Walking the Public Market brings back so many wonderful childhood memories.

but what you are really paying for is the location, right at the entrance to Pike Place Market which absolutely cannot be beat.

The room was very spacious with so many windows that allows for a spectacular views of the pike place market,  the puget sound, the piers, the cascade mountains, and full on view of the sunset.

We really enjoyed the location and despite being so close to Pike Street Market, it was quiet.

This hotel has the best location, right at the Pikes place market, walking distance to all activities, restaurants.

It is such a tremendous location (right near Pikes Market; you can walk to everything) with a very friendly staff and great rooms.

The room we had one with a view of market and water .

Easy to get to market for quick snack or meal or shop in a moments notice.

My view was of bird poop, a large crane, the HVAC system and public market sign.

Walk to restaurants across street or pike market.

We wandered through the huge Public Market, down to the waterfront.

Great choice for location near to Pike Place Market and seafront areas.

Two of the rooms, 708 and 710, share a large patio with an amazing view of Puget Sound, the city of Seattle (Pike Market) and Mount Rainier.

The Inn, literally steps from Pike Place Market, is a tucked away jewel worthy of a visit.

The paint on the walls had lots of scuffs and scrapes and some of the lights didn’t work.

The one minor issue I had with the layout of the room was that the tv was on the side wall so I had to lie sideways across the bed to watch tv.

There were several issues with the bathroom: the shower is partially open so you get cold, the towel and soap racks were not fully secured on the wall and wiggled when we took stuff off them, a lot of missing grout in the tiles, the countertop and sink are waaaaaaay too small and if you just want to wash your face you can knock your head on the shelf above it, needs another shelf or something by the shower where you can put your clothes.

but flimsy glass wall on one side I guess so people can watch while you shower but there is nothing to hold on to.

We were originally in a room with a view comprising a view of a concrete wall with a bit of the waterfront at the top.

And the floors are hardwood with an area rug, so no "questionably clean" wall to wall carpets!

but another window looks on the brick wall of the building next door.

Moreover, the TV was mounted on a wall to the right of the bed, thus forcing a very awkward viewing angle to watch TV.

The wall towards the lake was all windows.

My only complaint is we shared a wall with the elevator which we could hear operate at night.

TV position on side wall makes viewing awkward from bed.

The view (which could have been awesome from pretty much any other floor) was of a brick wall.

We stayed in Room 609 and unfortunately, one wall shares with the elevator shaft and you can hear the elevator gong past on every trip

before add on taxes etc which takes you well over 450 a night looking at a brick wall 10 feet away.

Large, granite walls and floors and a double size shower.

Corner room next to an intersection, next door is the maids trash door which is opening and closing constantly, and it is at the end of the hall where three other rooms are which created an echo chamber every time someone closed the door, and the other wall was the divider to the elevator which in itself is constantly moving and making noise.

Our room on the 4th floor had two walls full of windows with a slight view of the market and Ferris wheel.

Location-wise, this hotel is close to the Queen Vic Markets, the Lygon St restaurant strip, and the CBD; which was just perfect for us.

We will definitely recommend this hotel to all not only for their superb location which is just across Victoria Market and near all stops and tram station with all sorts of eateries nearby including some halal cuisines too.

One of the hotel's greatest advantages is its convenient location, being a stone's throw away from the Queen Elizabeth Market.

We firstly found the Ibis on Therry street Melbourne many years ago and have stayed there many times the location is very good just a stones throw from the markets on the edge of the free tram route and within walking distance to Melbourne baths - Lygon street - city centre etc.

I think being close to the Queen Victoria Market is also a plus.

Walking distance to shopping centres and markets.

Staff are quite pleasant, If you want to be near the Vic Markets this is a perfect place to stay.

Wonderful staff, comfortable rooms, super quality beds and linen, clean bathroom and superb location for CBD and the tourist precinct of Carlton, Victoria Markets with trams around the corner.

The manager was horrible the hotel charge my credit card 💳 twice so I couldn’t fix it and I would have to wait 14 business days for me to get a full refund when I’m on vacation and can’t use my card now because of the hotels mistakes.

To acquire Decaf I was directed to the Hook & Plow restaurant on campus and they provided at no charge.

I purchased a $500 gift card for my mom to take a break from being primary caregiver for my sick dad.

To compensate, we were given a choice of 750 Bonvoy points or a card for a free breakfast in the restaurant for each night stay.

could switch us to another Marriot and ensure we were not double billed, they could not.

Then the hotel charges something like $55/night to park.

The TV allows streaming from your Netflix or YouTube accounts for no additional charge.

And while they took off some charges for my stay they need to do something for everyone else’s future stays.

He agreed and offered us $30 credit for breakfast.

So, here I am 3 weeks later with fraudulent charges on my credit card and the Seattle Marriott Waterfront couldn't care less.

Now, the management decided then to tell us, oh, well, too bad, we cannot credit any more of your stay because parking is a different company.

There were ample plugs for charging electronic devices.

To top it off we received an early morning warning that if we are not out of our room by 11 am we would incur a charge.

(they did give us a $50 credit the second time we expressed displeasure) We booked for 3 people, yet there were no sheets in the room for the sofa bed.

Then was lied to (eventhough I didn't ask for an excuse) by one waiter who forgot to bring the sugar. Then our primary waiter snarkily told me, "Well I wasn't going to charge you anyway!"

I am a BONVoY gold member and was disappointed that the hotel tried to charge me $10 per envelope or package delivered during my stay.

Last there was some confusion at check-out to adjust charges from the restaurant which had not gone on the bill; again front desk issues and confusion !

No trays or other extraneous junk, and no complicated charges.

Worst thing is the $20 surcharge for Platinum Elite members for the M Club for scrambled eggs and bacon.

I unfortunately found out the next morning that that was not the case and there would be a charge.

The location of being both at the waterfront and just a short walk to Pike Place Market make this an ideal location for me.

In addition, close to the Pike Place Market and several good restaurants.

Brought us a vase to the room for flowers purchased at the market.

It is walking distance to pike place market and all of the attractions at the waterfront like the Ferris wheel and aquarium.

The hotel is in walking distance to many of Seattle’s tourist attractions like the waterfront, Pike’s Market, Sculpture Garden, Ferries, and Space Needle.

This hotel is centrally located within walking distance of the Public Market and there are many eateries around it.

It is also walking distance (15 minutes) away from Pike Place Market.

Excellent location for Pier 66 Ferris Wheel and Seattle fish market.

You have to walk across the street, go upstairs at the convention center and walk across the walkway to get into the downtown area where the Pike Place Fish Market and the bars and shopping are located.

Location works very well for walking around waterfront, Pike Market, and downtown Seattle.

It was also a short walk to Pike Place Market and there were a lot of food options in the nearby vicinity.

We walked to Pikes Market and had dinner at Athenian Restaurant where they did some filming of Sleepless in Seattle.

Lenora bridge is a shortcut to pike place market adjacent to Marriot.

The hotel is perfectly located at the waterfront with a very short walking distance to seafood restaurants and shops at the Market.

Great for walking to pike place market and to walk the boardwalk on the waterfront.

This hotel has a great view of the harbor and is close to all the tourist activities along the harbor (few blocks from fish market, ferris wheel and tourist boat docks).

We stayed here one night for $500 and paid $68 to park a car.

Valet parking is expensive at $55 per night,

After the show, things went a little sideways with the Paramount parking garage so we ended up having to cancel our reservation at Aqua and decided to eat in the hotel restaurant after checking in and dropping our stuff off.

You will need to use the valet service or pay for parking.

Be ready that the lobby is going to be crowded, it can take a long time to get your room ready and the parking is almost $70 (valet only) including state and Seattle taxes.

My only complaint was that parking was expensive.

I did the self parking thru the app and accidently payed for two days instead of one.

The beds were uncomfortable and parking was expensive.

I called the hotel and spoke with someone named Misoko (not sure of the spelling) who told me that she would email the accounting team who would investigate and then they would decide if I parked there or not. What?

As hotel overnight parking is very costly

Parking is not very convenient if you're driving or have a car to this specific hotel.

Car parking ridiculous..cheaper self parking just across from the lobby at $19per day

Parking a rental car was expensive and space was limited.

We had a car and left it parked the entire time.

We opted to park in a parkade about a block away that was about half the price of the hotel valet and considerably less than the next door parkade.

The valet parking is expensive ($60+/day with taxes), so if you really don't have a need for a car don't get one.

Valet parking only and  @ an outrageous price of $63.75 per night.

This is not what we expect at the price we paid.

Although pricey, the amount of money we saved in cabs and Ubers more than made up for it.

Given the price of the room this widely fell short of expectations.

We ended up leaving a night early because we decided we’d rather eat the cost and sleep in our own beds.

Beware the taxi/uber is very expensive to the airport--I think I paid about $65-70.

Bonus - We valeted a vehicle (a bit expensive,

If one tale into account the price for the hotel it comes out as an average stay for sure.

But on top of the view issue this has been a huge disappointment, and I would recommend looking at other options, or at the very least don’t upgrade to a corner room cause you may not be getting the view you are hoping you paid for.

but somewhat overpriced since they did not have everything opened back up yet from their remodeling.

This was inedible so we just gave up, paid, and left.

It is one of the most expensive Marriott I've stayed in and probably one of the worst for upkeep. 2.

Good hotel in an excellent location, very close to Queen Victoria Market.

The only good thing about this place is location: it is within the free tram zone and right next to the Victoria market (there's a great Indonesian restaurant nearby).

Queen Victoria markets are next door with amazing food vendors
The room was clean, roomy and despite other people’s reviews, the wifi was fine.

The location is good, on Elizabeth Street, near the Victoria Markets and there is a tram stop approximately 50 metres away from the front of the hotel.

Quite sad the breakfast option and  I suggest to simply go to Vik market right beside that is an amazing place.

Great location to easily access Melbourne with a tram stop 50m from the front door and next door to Vic Markets.

Sitting next to the iconic Queen Victoria Market, this fact is made even more evident by the fresh ingredients used in their in room breakfast (also reasonably priced).

The free tram service takes you straight down to Flinders Street and Vic Market is a few metres away, the location is definitely ideal.

The Jasper Hotel is a boutique hotel a stone's throw away from the Queen Vic market and short walking distance to the CBD.

Lovely spacious room, impeccably clean, big comfortable bed, nice shower and great location between Vic market and lots of little asian fusion cafes.

The breakfasts were lovely and the location of the hotel was very close to the Market, the CBD and hospital.

The added bonus for us was the location of this hotel, being close to Melbourne Central, the Queen Victoria Market and is within the free tram zone.

Unfortunately they downgraded us to  King Rooms which were very noisy.

There was little to no outside noise and they have a cute little courtyard too.

Only downside was proximity to construction noise.

The room was a little noisy from the construction work going on.

At night, you can hear drunk people on the street quite clearly, which is a downside to this hotel.

The street side of the hotel is a bit noisy especially because of the tram station right outside the hotel,

The floorboards of our sofa bed were falling out and the sink was rusty.

I could hear the neighbors in the next room which isn't helpful when trying to sleep.

With double-glazed windows, street traffic is an unobtrusive background noise.

Also, there is a massive building site behind the hotel which can cause some noise in the morning and afternoon.

Couldn’t hear the trams running through the tracks and pedestrians.

Also one of the bathroom walls was louvred, meaning you could hear everything the other person was doing in there.

but I live in the country so I hear that wherever I stay in a city.

Also, I must have picked a really busy time as I could hear the bang of the other guest doors quite loudly

However I was awakened several times by the slamming of the fire escape door.

It took two nights to get used to the noise of trams outside (and I was on the 6th floor!

A couple of tiny gripes were that the shower leaked all through the bathroom which wasn’t the nicest and it was a wee bit noisy given its in the heart of the cbd

You seriously need to put thick block out curtains in the front facing rooms.

Fortunately, the windows could be opened to bring in cooler air from outside.

The window seals were very poor so noise leakage into the room was significant and not fixable, leading to very disturbed sleep every night of the stay.

Had issues with blinds which were addressed.

Unfortunately you cannot leave windows open at night if the room faces Elizabeth street as it’s too noisy.

but we generally kept the curtains closed most of the time due to privacy.

Only downside was that we had no window, not that we cared because we wanted the room for sleeping, not socialising.

The windows didn't appear to be double glazed (you can actually open them - I was on level 8).

Everything about the room was cheap and nasty, including a thin blind instead of proper black-out curtains which neither blocked out light through the blind or around the sides.

But the walls and windows must be paper thin.

Room for a share was VERY small and bathroom lacked enough privacy in that there were louvered windows into it.

but the blind was a bit tatty and did little to keep out the morning sunlight, the bathroom was not particularly clean with hairs from previous occupants in various locations.

I found the window covering to be frayed and the furniture to be worn out.

Probably a couple of things I would like to point out was that the room we were given had windows which were not cleaned (i.e spider webs, bird droppings, and the like) and the seals of the window weren't tight which meant we could feel wind blowing into the room.

The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is that the windows don't seem to be fully sealed - so it let in a draft (which would be bad during winter) and lots of noise from the street.

The room was very small the windows looked out onto other buildings, the bathroom was well equipped with good quality toiletries, shower recess was very small and not suitable for anyone that is over weight, water was hot, not much room to dry  yourself off or anywhere to lay out your make-up.

There is a lot road noise on the 5th floor, the windows offer no protection, it sounded like the windows were left open.

It is situated opposite Reading Terminal Markets, which is one of the nation's oldest and largest public markets.

Great location directly over the road from the convention centre and the Reading terminal market with its many food options.

The hotel is in Center City, across from the Reading Market, a lively indoor food court, and well located for walking and the bus.

The location is right at the convention centre, Reading Terminal Market and there are lots of restaurants near by.
