Our family on vacation truly enjoys the bird's eye-view of the horizon from the hotel high tower by the shore, where starry sky, ebbs and tides are our observation delights.

The garden looks beautiful, the beach was not special; shallow and a lot of stones, no restaurants.

We stay 2 nights at Nikko Bali, the hotel is quite luxury and well designed, strategic location and place are beautiful with private beach.

They have swimming pool and they have own beach, kids club etc.

The beach area is nice and if you are used to living near a F1 track the the constant revving engine noise from the countless Jetskis zooming across the sea, and the waft of fuel every now and again.

The hospitality, spacious and clean room, tasty breakfast, and  the direct access to the beautiful beach are all are very great.

Would also recommend to clean the beach near by hotel from seaweed.

It is located perfectly near all local shops and on the beach.

Pool bar, breakfast buffet, Giorgio, Nagisa Izikaya, the spa, yoga class, of course the pool and the beach.. all are awesome !!!

The resort is on the beach and the backend faces numerous shops and restaurants, all very reasonably priced with live entertainment.

We chose to pre-book a romantic beach dinner and we were not disappointed, the set up was stunning and very romantic for our special trip - the steak the prepared for our main was to die for!

The hotel beach offers the most beautiful sunrise too and is a key selling point for the venue.

And they offered lots of other little things like a romantic dinner on the beach, local cuisines and dance nights etc.

A popular destination for foreign tourists who spends weeks here enjoying the beautiful environment and the sandy beach.

Friendly and efficient staff, good buffet, the excellent Italian restaurant (with live musicians), very good rooms and located next to the beach, great bars and a myriad of high-quality spa massages.

but I found the hotel very noisy late at night/early am as noise echoed off the tiled walkways with foot traffic, and the relatively large gap under the door also let conversations intrude easily.

Room looked old, doors were broken, breakfast was sad (except for the nutella),

$15 AUD for a cocktail is Way too high, when you can go next door and get them for half the price!

Talking of jet skis etc - it does get a little busy when the tide is right as they sell jet skii and boat rides etc right next door -

Resort is a little tired and Slightly disappointed in garden View room as I am looking out to a wall with another multistory resort next door.

Spoke to reception who told us to show her what was wrong and told us we had double locked the door.

but it never went on late and we couldn't hear the music when our patio door was shut, despite being almost next to the main area where the performances were held, which resulted in a great nights sleep every night.

But beware, the door to the hallway are thin.

We did find it quite noisy outside our room in the mornings while we were still sleeping of doors bagging and people.

but not as bad as the beach in the public beach areas next door which are pretty much disgusting.

We ended up going to the hotel next door and spent a lot of money on food and drinks.

Firstly , the room service wasn't knocking door when they bring us a towel to the room.

- you will wake up very early every morning as the doors get slammed
- there is a company right next to the beach that do paragliding - an absolute nightmare!

but window and balcony door could not be closed properly and bathtub stopper knob does not work, is using the manual stopper.

We looked out over a back service door and an unfinished building that had no sign of workers.

There are no curtains on the balcony doors, merely shutters, so you are either in the dark or exposed.

One door to our balcony was permanently locked shut, not big issue

However they were very noisy as the front doors were not well built.

The doors slam close and the ice machine is being accessed 24 hours s day.

The fridge wooden door was difficult to open, as well as the drawers, the safety deposit box was not working, the water cattle lid was broken and it couldn't turn off automatically, the wall paint started to pealing off with cracks here and there, the lap shades were moldy.

but you can sign up to a free harmony card to get 10% off and there's a 50% off 3-7pm happy hour.

More could be done to encourage people to stay in the hotel and spend money. For example, a music system by the pool area and some free daily activities (yoga, aqua aerobics etc.)

Aware there is a free bus twice daily to Kuta shopping area.

There’s a free bus to Kuta from the hotel, it leaves at 11am to return at 3pm.

but the miss at the reception gave us an upgrade with overview of the ocean, free.

Hotel provides free daily shuttle to a shopping centre in Kuta, which is about 30 minutes away.

but still modern
- Food is amazing and reasonably priced
- Free shuttle buses to Kuta
- Away from loud/rowdiness of Kuta

Negatives:
- Can be a bit hot at the restaurants (breakfast and Bali Luna) I recommend installing more fans
- Staff can be more friendly towards non-Asian patrons

TOP TIPS:
- Seat near fans when eating
- GO OCEAN VIEW SUITE ROOM OR HIGHER

But overall still a 5 star review, will definitely come back as the experience was amazing, and highly recommend!

Free coach trips for shopping malls & various restaurants.

The hotel is just perfect, superb staff, ample grounds, a magnificent lagoon style pool, gym, spa, steam rooms, restaurants, well equipped rooms very tastefully decorated and maintained, kiddies day activity centre, business facilities, internet access, free Wi-Fi the list just goes on and on.

They have two bottles of water that you get replenished every day for free

The free shuttle to Kuta is clean and nice and cool.

They have a free shuttle to n from Kutta for hotel guests.

There were free services like a shuttle bus to Kuta and Bali collection everyday, so was good we didn’t always need to spend too much travelling.

Bikes can be rented, and the resort operates a free shuttle service to nearby Kuta.

- Daily free transport to Kuta and Bali Collection (a turist trap market place, don't go there) at set times.

We didn’t stay in our hotel of an evening to see the entertainment (so I cannot review this) as we always went out to try the restaurants on the strip as the hotel was in a perfect location for a wander to many restaurants, Bumbu Bali was a great restaurant and next to the hotel there is a sports bar with a free pool table and the staff in there are a great laugh and have stuff going on most nights like karaoke, quizzes etc.

They should try and have more activities that are free.

Free shuttle (3rd Party) from the resort to and from hourly until 9PM to Bali Collection shopping Square.

Its further down the beach in Benoa where the ocean is very average in comparison to Nusa Dua Beach.

The best part about the room was the balcony which gave a sweeping view of the Nusa Dua beach.

Hotel's location is great, just 20 minutes or so from the airport and there is a free shuttle service which runs to Nusa Dua beach.

We were having a honeymoon in bali searching a hotel is near to Nusa Dua beach for water activities,

The nusa dua beach grill is near geger past the humongous mulia  hotel with great food beach view and they pick you up and drop you off for free.

Aston is at Benoa beach, sort of an extension of Nusa Dua beach which is more on the quiet side.

I phoned Wotif and they worked for two days to move us and they were able to get us a room at the Nusa Dua Beach Resort & Spa.

We also had easy access to water sports in Nusa Dua beach area

When I asked him to delete he said his phone was dead.

We accidentally left the dishes outside the room instead of calling for a pick up,

but it sounded like they were running, moving furniture and thumping around to the point where I did call reception to ask if construction was being done.

We had to livestream the game on our mobile phone and were disappointed that we could not watch this big game on TV.

Excursions via the hotel were more expensive so we used a local specialist and made friends with a taxi driver who took us everywhere we wanted pretty much on call (inc trips to Bali Safari, Bali Swing and Waterbom).

Anyway we went and had a look around the so called resort if you could call it that?

The plumbing was an issue and we twice had to call maintenance to unblock the loo.

There were so many power points in the room, you’d never run out of points to charge your phones or devices!

They did not replace the towels accordingly and we had to call the reception 3 times with no results.

Our toilet was not flushing properly and we had to call maintenance to check.

We looked up every bottle on their list with our phone and they were charging like $60 USD for a $4 USD bottle in the states.

When I saw the camera I called for security immediately, it took 15 minutes and 3 phone calls from me before they sleepily showed up at my room.

but you can call the housekeeping department and ask for one and they will bring it to your room, you can keep it for your entire stay at no extra charge.

Then we rang again the following day to book for the next morning and were told again they weren't on.

$13 for a poorly made cocktail is not what I would call relaxing.

i booked ocean view suite, every day i need to call maintanace to look after one or other issue.

Ive tried to call for the engineering service,

buttons and reading the screen of the machine it came to my attention that there was an issue with the machine, i brought this to his attention, he then spoke to the manger who rang the bank and 20 minutes later payment successful.

Apart from this on our third day, the towels were not replaced and we had to call for towels, it took about 10-15 mins for it to come, so I suggest guests to call as soon as you see them missing, so you have them when you'd like to use them.

but this is where we found delicious food, the sea was immediately visible from the room, warm and fast service from the head of housekeeping, Mr. Ucok.

but even the Nikko Bali is to quiet, come back fro a meal out at say 8 or 9 at night, you might want to sit out on the loverly veranda overlooking the beautiful hotel garden, but try finding a beer, a coffee, tea, ANYTHING!!!

Food and beverage prices are very cheap and quite tasty.

We did go outside of the resort for a few meals

Top Japanese restaurant, Nagisa, great Sashimi chef, goes to a lot of effort in shopping fresh from the markets each morning.

Hotel has very big outdoor swimming pool and nice restaurants.

The hotel was very accommodating to us as a large group and even thanked us for spending time and money at their bar and restaurants.

but compare to other hotels and locations that we’ve stayed in Bali, we definitely can say : we love it here

Easy stroll to other resto for culinary adventure.

Broken tiles and lots of moss/slime so not amazing.

but when you're in it you find missing tiles everywhere was left with a few cuts to my feet.

Tiles were missing on the sides and bottom of the pool.

The shower unit itself was showing signs of wear with a tile broken and rust from the metal frame running down the tiles.

but poorly maintained..tiles are missing everywhere and the pool also is not well maintained.

Only negative on the pool is that there are loose tiles.

but nothing too noticeable as where the tiles were loose were too deep for us to stand on anyways, so I'm not sure what the other reviews were talking about.

The only negative was the hotel it starting to show its age and a little faded in areas, scuffed woodwork and paint and occasional tiles missing around pool

However the pool does have a bit of maintenances needed to maintain it, a few cracked tiles on the bottom, not a deal breaker,

We waddled down to the pool to escape our room, only to find once you're in it, all the tiles on the bottom are loose or floating around like little plastic fish nipping at your ankles.

but there does seem to be more and more tiles coming away from the floor area of the pool, this I think needs addressing before it gets way out of hand!

however the pool flooring around the wet bar is looking rather sad and dare I say it, dangerous as many tiles are missing from this area.

although the pool needs some work as the tiles are loose and does sometimes cut you thus the reason for the rating of 4 and not 5.

but seriously, the pool itself is in poor condition with many many of the tiles coming away as I was continuously stepping on them.

The only reason I haven't given an excellent overall rating is the number of loose or missing tiles on the bottom of the pool.

There are a lot of loose tiles around by the pool bar and several times you could feel them coming up between your toes which is not nice to stand on.

It really needs upgrading, there are tiles missing from the floor & I did cut a toe very slightly.

We loved the pool, after looking at reviews mentioning the tiles missing we thought it must have been a drama

but the pool itself requires work done to it (tiles missing).

although a lot of rooms were vacant, they gave us (familie Lyon with two teenage boys) two bedrooms with a view on the ramains of an abandoned hotel.

Watching the kites fly bys while sitting in the ocean pool was a relaxation dream I came to Bali for.

the view is amazing, staff and service were excellent.

We visited for Nyepi Day ( Silent Day ) March 2021 and stayed at Ocean View Suite ( 89 square meter ) with large balcony, garden and ocean view.

Tranquility 'n panoramic view were indeed impressive.

but the outlook is great and plenty of comfy sun lounges around.

View from room is pretty, bed is very comfortable.

We were offered an upgrade at check-in to rooms 330 & 332 which had excellent views of  the ocean and pool.

Amazing breakfast with a nice sea view and specious cozy rooms.

Other than that, the view is breathtaking and tranquil.

Such a vast variety of different foods (including an omelette station) that changed daily and situated with views of the ocean.

but get what you pay for and I accepted that the views may not be the best for the cheapest rooms.

but within easy walking distance you have many options for restaurants Nikko offers a great shuttle service into Kuta to which we used a few times but I’m finding it hard to give a positive outlook on the Nikko

Special shout out to chef (Wayan I think) at Ayana breakfast for making my wife gluten free pancakes.

It is also connected to Ayana hotel and guests from both sides are free to explore and move around both hotel compounds, including using facilities and restaurants at either hotel.

free refill drinking water (first provided 4 bottles), tea using the brew me brand and coffee using nescafe sachets.

Mr.Jul was all smiles and Mr.Eka was very kind to upgrade our booking 1 level up, for free, since the occupancy was accomodating.

It was excellent: 

- Service that goes beyond and truly cares (one of us fell sick at one point and they arranged a car and driver to take us for free to a non covid hospital to get checked out.

Even in the high season (at least it was in August 2018, cant select it anymore) everything is very quiet, both in the rooms and in the pool area, so that you can relax undisturbed and enjoy your free time.

There are many things to do for everybody and the complementary kids club is fantastic!

She said they made her the best gluten free spaghetti she has ever eaten!

Special thanks to Damar who was the most amazing host and all the staff who went above and beyond to make us feel special.The leaf is situated in the highlands of Jimbarin with a mini mart and laundry sevice at its door
They also have a great shuttle service free of charge.

Family friendly resort with great kids club (not free

We stayed at Jimbaran room which is really good and i love there is free shuttle  every 10mins to go around the resort
which is very convenient.

There is a free shuttle provided between each of the hotels and it runs every few minutes.

The grounds are extremely extensive and the ability to use the other result Ayana everyday with the free open air tram which takes 5 minutes .

The fact that you can access 2 resorts in a single stay is already a bonus!

What I love is the fact that the guest are free to utilize the facilities in all of Ayana resort and to top it all, there’s also a private beach in the vicinity.

The waiting list means nothing as the staff don’t police people jumping on free beds!

The restaurant were ace and access to the sister resort was a bonus

We figured out and organized a trip and activities to the Nusa Dua beach ourselves.

Every night around 11 p.m there's always people running or shouting in the corridor, it is so frustrating and i cant sleep because of that, i try to call a receptionist and he just said that we'll work on that, i wait for 30 minutes and nothing happen, people just rush and shout in the corridor.

We went to the River Pool as they usually have a ban on cameras during the day time - which we liked the sound of as it can get a little tiresome dodging around people taking endless pool photos after a while,

but there’s a bathroom door 
So every morning got awake with bit of sunlight  go through the curtains

but all experienced the same issue of noise.

The other thing is very disturbing to use the other pools from Ayana they are consistently asking you for.your room # and after a while they keeping asking the same question, it makes you feel not welcoming there or that you are doing something wrong!

This time I had to bring my very close friends to experience Rimba & Ayana’s top notch service and when i asked my friends how their experience was this time around, i could hear nothing

dirty pools, noisy people, not genuine Indonesian food, all food taste mediocre.

- Rooms are dead silent - can hear absolutely EVERYTHING around you - people walking, talking, screaming, etc
- Kids in bar area and hot tub SPLASHING when the sign literally says “no splashing”.

although at some facilities we found it a little bit crowded and noisy.

however the original room we had was quite close to the car park and you could hear a fair amount of noise from the balcony and when the doors were closed.

The only thing that bothered us as light sleepers is the lack of adequate sound proofing.

but the housekeepers would non stop ring the door bell to clean the room even after telling them personally to come back at 4:30pm and then tell reception to come at 4:30pm I was disturbed once late morning and also early afternoon!!

They could at least monitor the noise level and tell the tourists to keep the noise down.

We had to sleep with earplugs and didn't rest well.

however the way it is designed it is directly above another pool which isn't adult only so it is not very relaxing hearing screaming kids.

but kids running and shouting in the relaxation area

The doors always slam this meant that I was woken up every hour in the night.

So many restaurants to choose from, with high end dining.

The resort has multiple restaurants and the food and cocktails were delicious.

I really liked that you could use the facilities of both Rimba and Ayana Resort when staying there, very big choice of restaurants and things to do.

Excellent resort with great views, tasty food, and accommodating service.

We enjoyed their robust facilities, from Spa, 12 different pools, secluded beach, various bars and restaurants.

The facilities are incredible, the many choices of pools, bars and restaurants it’s staggering!

although I recommend the chinese one just outside Rimba > back then, we could have the restaurant deliver up to our room.

Breakfast was sensational and dinner at the Roof Top Bar at Rimba were food highlights.

Can't fault the staff, facilities or food while we were there.

It’s the perfect place to stay for relaxation as it has everything you need and you don’t need to leave - multiple restaurants, pools, private beach, spa, golf, tennis, gym.

The food was great, service was amazing and the view from Ayana is just spectacular.

Their staff are helpful and polite, scrumptious breakfast, beautiful sunset dinner at rock bar, very well maintain hotel facilities and clean private beach, We really enjoy our stay here.

The warm welcoming staffs, the clean and spacious room and very helpful and friendly staffs, the foods, all the ayana - rimba facilities always crave us to get back to this hotel for every of our Bali Trip.

The room is quite spacious, and the view to the jungle is amazing.

I stayed at Rimba in the Jimbaran suite and it was absolutely spectacular, highly recommend if you want a super spacious and luxe room.

The room so hommy and clean with complete room amenities set up.

When we get to our room we were welcomed with beautiful happy anniversary sign that truly set a romantic mood for us.

but that being said, from what I could see those rooms are gorgeous as well.

It is the perceptive and friendly service that makes it worthwhile staying in this hotel, The room we had was spacious and had an amazing view, the breakfast is good and the distance to the beach is limited, there is a shuttle service to Ayana / Rock Bar to access the beach.

but regardless everything went smoothly, from the Check-in to our Room.

The property is well maintained, the rooms are clean and cosy.

The beach itself offers us a very beautiful sunset 🌅 
Room was clean, pretty spacious with HUGE BED *super love*!

Our room was spotless and well stocked with everything we could possibly need.
