The staff were friendly, rooms were cleaned very well, the spa was nice and the shuttle service to the shops and beach was an added bonus.

but the shuttle bus drops you to the centre of Sanur or the beach every hour.

Shuttle bus to beach and supermarket was great too.

We found Prime Plaza Suites in Sanur an absolute pleasure to stay at.From the Very Friendly and Helpful Staff at the Resort to the Beautiful Facilities.Also the Sanur Beach was only a 15-30 minute walk pending on your fitness,once there we found the Beach Absolutely Beautiful with a Huge Variety of Restaurants to Dine in.I would Highly Recommend Prime Plaza Suites to Anybody Travelling to Bali,Particularily in Sanur.

A lovely calm beach, perfect for children.

Went to get shuttle 'bus' to the beach as it comes once an hour,  the van was full so we waited an extra 15 mins for a van to come get us and another family to take us to the beach.

We used the complimentary bus a lot to get around to markets, supermarket and the sands beach club.

The shuttle to Saur was great, and there is a back gate that made walking down to the beach a breeze, i just wish they'd keep it open later than 6pm when the bus stops - this is prime time for getting down to Sanur beach and the nightlife - all in all it was a great place for the money, and a LOT of room for the kids with the kitchenette and cable tv - will definitely return, especially if they have a reno!

We stayed in a nice clean and very spacious suite with a balcony overlooking pool area.

Bed super comfortable , rooms are very clean and grounds are well kept .

We stayed in both the 2 and 3 bed options and they were spacious, clean and comfortable!

The rooms were modern, spacious and sparkling clean.

Had a 3 bedroom apartment which was very spacious, clean and main bedroom with own bathroom.

The place is extraordinarily clean and tidy.

Food was nice, room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Rooms are really spacious for a family with great clean facilities.

We had a slight problem with our bill (due to my mistake) and this was fixed immediately without issue and hotel apologising profusely for the error.

but to those senior needs a energy to reach the second floor due to there was no elevator.

Also after having to check out three nights earlier then usual due to gov corona virus etc, they very kindly refunded us, which they didn’t have to do.

even though it was dark inside due to no sunlight.

We unfortunately had to leave our stroller behind (due to a mix up with weight limit) and in Kuta they had strollers you could hire direct from the hotel for $5 per day.

but due to that hotel being disgusting we checked out and moved to the Prime Plaza Suites where my son and his family were staying.

Interior of room is starting to show heavy usage and is probably due for a full refurbishment in a year or so,

but almost quicker to walk due to traffic & one-way streets.

To be certain there was not a misunderstanding due to our language barrier I had an Indonesian friend call to speak with the hotel the next day and again we were told they had not been found.

Only the room slightly gave me goosebumps due to the low light.

however taxi require after 6pm due to back gate closing.

When we checked in when room was ready we were given a 10% discount voucher (which we gained through Expedia due to booking previous holidays with them before) This gave us 10% off spa treatments, all food (including room service) and non alcoholic drinks.

Complete breakdown of communication due to lack of English understanding.

however due to the volcano we noticed that there were not many people in the hotel.

We asked to move rooms due to dogs barking in the Neighbourhood and were told that rooms were full and we could move later.

but due to having 2 kids under 4 with us this time decided to try the suites.

Only drawback of the hotel location is that you cannot easily access Main Street Sanur by foot in the evening or return to the hotel due to the rear entry of the hotel being closed off for security reasons.

The kids did not want to leave the hotel at all, due to this pool!

I was a little bit sceptical at first due to my first experience of a Balinease massage at a previous hotel

Coming through the front, off a very busy road is incredibly dangerous in the dark.

We found Semminyak too busy with traffic and dangerous for kids,

It is locked up at 6pm so if you return or want to leave later, you are more or less forced to get a taxi as the walk along the main road is pretty dangerous.

I have only two small moans - firstly, the beach area allocated to the Suites has moved to a more shady area largely under trees and it was difficult to get sun beds actually in the sun.

However we spent most of our time downstairs in the very inviting, shady pool areas.

The gate leads to a lane that has a pretty uneven surface, no lighting and feels a little dodgy.

We stayed here for 6 nights from February 5 th we paid $172 per night for 2 bedroom suite it was really clean and nice to stay in.the only down side was the laneway to the Main Street can get busy with moped bikes my children are 6&8 so it wasn't that bad with smaller children it could be a bit dangerous as the laneways are narrow.

You can't walk via the front entrance, it's quite unsafe (even the pavement is unsafe with large holes in the path), and a very long route, particularly with kids.

My only suggestion is to perhaps consider upgrading the kids playground equipment next to the kids pool - it must have been installed when hotel was originally built is very tired, verging on dangerous - would make the area a bit more appealing and safe particularly for small children.

but unfortunately the alternative path from the front of the hotel isn't safe to walk on if you have a stroller and is a bit dodgy and dark.

The main pool deck area is dangerous and slippery when wet.

I totally understand why this back gate is locked at 6pm as you should not attempt to walk this lane with children after dark it would be very dangerous traffic wise etc and why take the risk when a taxi home is only AUD$5.

however it is a residential area and we had a scary incident with dogs that ran out of a property and attempted to attack our young son.

We loved the pool area, the only negative is that the daybeds could do with upgrading, they were old and could not be moved into shady areas.

And at night (it got darker earlier than we expected) there was very little lighting in or around the pool, which we felt was unsafe trying to keep track of the kids.

The resort, the huge rooms, the staff, the food and the cleaning keeps us coming back again and again!

Breakfast buffet was nice with a good variety of breakfast cuisine available.

Great facilities for family at this hotel, kids have so much fun, food is good we’ll priced something there for anyone.

Served from 6.30-10.30am each morning which was perfect in case we wanted a late start or needed to eat before leaving for a day trip.

It's also an easy walk out the back gate to the local shops and restaurants.

The room service provided various food options.

moreover, after check out time, i visited the restaurant for an online meeting and ordered lunch,

There's also heaps of warungs along there if you want to eat cheaply.

Everything we needed organise food when we didn’t want to go out.

Rooms are spacious and private, the food was great, especially the local dishes.

We had the free flow drinks package which was great and combined with the food options on offer, we did not have to venture far meaning more relaxing pool time!

However this is locked at 6pm, it would be great if management would leave it open till 8 or 9pm to accommodate going out for dinner.

The only downside to the apartment is the bathrooms are quite small - hard to fit 2 people in there at once.

The bathroom was small, door almost touched the toilet bowl.

Bathrooms are very small, not ideal for large people.

Our apartment was huge, except the bathrooms were a bit on the small side.

Otherwise comparing to kitchen size the bathroom is tiny, two people hardly can be there at one time.

The only thing I would think isn’t on par is the very small bathroom

They are enormous, the living area and bedrooms are huge, the bathrooms are small,

The main bedroom was a good size and the minor bedroom and bathrooms were very small.

They could do with a second DVD player in another room and the bathrooms are quite small and dated,

however the bathrooms were way too small.

although the bathroom was a little small when trying the bath 2 kids at a time and fit an adult in too.

Bathrooms are tiny and not functional at all.

Our family on vacation truly enjoys the bird's eye-view of the horizon from the hotel high tower by the shore, where starry sky, ebbs and tides are our observation delights.

The garden looks beautiful, the beach was not special; shallow and a lot of stones, no restaurants.

We stay 2 nights at Nikko Bali, the hotel is quite luxury and well designed, strategic location and place are beautiful with private beach.

They have swimming pool and they have own beach, kids club etc.

The beach area is nice and if you are used to living near a F1 track the the constant revving engine noise from the countless Jetskis zooming across the sea, and the waft of fuel every now and again.

The hospitality, spacious and clean room, tasty breakfast, and  the direct access to the beautiful beach are all are very great.

The location was next to the beach and close to nearby shops.

Recommend to book the beach view or beachfront room on higher building for a better view and less crowded.

It is located perfectly near all local shops and on the beach.

The resort is on the beach and the backend faces numerous shops and restaurants, all very reasonably priced with live entertainment.

We chose to pre-book a romantic beach dinner and we were not disappointed, the set up was stunning and very romantic for our special trip - the steak the prepared for our main was to die for!

The hotel beach offers the most beautiful sunrise too and is a key selling point for the venue.

And they offered lots of other little things like a romantic dinner on the beach, local cuisines and dance nights etc.

A popular destination for foreign tourists who spends weeks here enjoying the beautiful environment and the sandy beach.

Friendly and efficient staff, good buffet, the excellent Italian restaurant (with live musicians), very good rooms and located next to the beach, great bars and a myriad of high-quality spa massages.

but rooms are good, and grounds are immaculate, but maybe a lack of funds has stopped the enforced covid shutdown period, not to be used to tackle the tiredness  look to the hotel and give it some vav a voom.

At 45 sqm it was huge!he foyer and grounds of the hotel are beautiful and spotlessly kept.

but clean, staff are very friendly, helpful and professional.

Lovely stay nice and quiet and clean comfortable rooms with fantastic staff with a smIle on their face all day.

The hotel grounds are immaculate and the pool enormous and very clean, they staff happily blew up large pool floats for our children to use whilst staying!

Pot plants in the hotel are cleaned daily.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff are friendly and accommodating.

The staff accommodated quickly a late room clean upon us realising and were very helpful.

The cleaning was immaculate throughout the hotel and the surroundings and pool area were pleasant.

Our Room was fantastic, great daily room services, clean, tidy, pool was a delight and breakfast was absolutely out of this world!

The hotel was clean and bedrooms were large and comfortable.

Got the cheapest room we could get and it was great really spaces and very clean.

but I found the hotel very noisy late at night/early am as noise echoed off the tiled walkways with foot traffic, and the relatively large gap under the door also let conversations intrude easily.

Room looked old, doors were broken, breakfast was sad (except for the nutella),

$15 AUD for a cocktail is Way too high, when you can go next door and get them for half the price!

Talking of jet skis etc - it does get a little busy when the tide is right as they sell jet skii and boat rides etc right next door -

Resort is a little tired and Slightly disappointed in garden View room as I am looking out to a wall with another multistory resort next door.

Spoke to reception who told us to show her what was wrong and told us we had double locked the door.

but it never went on late and we couldn't hear the music when our patio door was shut, despite being almost next to the main area where the performances were held, which resulted in a great nights sleep every night.

But beware, the door to the hallway are thin.

We did find it quite noisy outside our room in the mornings while we were still sleeping of doors bagging and people.

but not as bad as the beach in the public beach areas next door which are pretty much disgusting.

We ended up going to the hotel next door and spent a lot of money on food and drinks.

Firstly , the room service wasn't knocking door when they bring us a towel to the room.

- you will wake up very early every morning as the doors get slammed
- there is a company right next to the beach that do paragliding - an absolute nightmare!

but window and balcony door could not be closed properly and bathtub stopper knob does not work, is using the manual stopper.

We looked out over a back service door and an unfinished building that had no sign of workers.

There are no curtains on the balcony doors, merely shutters, so you are either in the dark or exposed.

One door to our balcony was permanently locked shut, not big issue

However they were very noisy as the front doors were not well built.

The doors slam close and the ice machine is being accessed 24 hours s day.

The fridge wooden door was difficult to open, as well as the drawers, the safety deposit box was not working, the water cattle lid was broken and it couldn't turn off automatically, the wall paint started to pealing off with cracks here and there, the lap shades were moldy.

When I asked him to delete he said his phone was dead.

We accidentally left the dishes outside the room instead of calling for a pick up,

but it sounded like they were running, moving furniture and thumping around to the point where I did call reception to ask if construction was being done.

We had to livestream the game on our mobile phone and were disappointed that we could not watch this big game on TV.

Excursions via the hotel were more expensive so we used a local specialist and made friends with a taxi driver who took us everywhere we wanted pretty much on call (inc trips to Bali Safari, Bali Swing and Waterbom).

Anyway we went and had a look around the so called resort if you could call it that?

The plumbing was an issue and we twice had to call maintenance to unblock the loo.

There were so many power points in the room, you’d never run out of points to charge your phones or devices!

They did not replace the towels accordingly and we had to call the reception 3 times with no results.

Our toilet was not flushing properly and we had to call maintenance to check.

We looked up every bottle on their list with our phone and they were charging like $60 USD for a $4 USD bottle in the states.

When I saw the camera I called for security immediately, it took 15 minutes and 3 phone calls from me before they sleepily showed up at my room.

but you can call the housekeeping department and ask for one and they will bring it to your room, you can keep it for your entire stay at no extra charge.

Then we rang again the following day to book for the next morning and were told again they weren't on.

$13 for a poorly made cocktail is not what I would call relaxing.

i booked ocean view suite, every day i need to call maintanace to look after one or other issue.

Ive tried to call for the engineering service,

buttons and reading the screen of the machine it came to my attention that there was an issue with the machine, i brought this to his attention, he then spoke to the manger who rang the bank and 20 minutes later payment successful.

Apart from this on our third day, the towels were not replaced and we had to call for towels, it took about 10-15 mins for it to come, so I suggest guests to call as soon as you see them missing, so you have them when you'd like to use them.

but this is where we found delicious food, the sea was immediately visible from the room, warm and fast service from the head of housekeeping, Mr. Ucok.

but even the Nikko Bali is to quiet, come back fro a meal out at say 8 or 9 at night, you might want to sit out on the loverly veranda overlooking the beautiful hotel garden, but try finding a beer, a coffee, tea, ANYTHING!!!

And also they have various and tasty breakfast!love it.

Loads of fun, loads of info and hacks from Godasan, we laughed, we learn, we eat, we want to go back.

The meals were included in the Silent Day package and were fresh and delicious .

Walk out front to great selection of restaurants and mini marts near by.

Food and beverage prices are very cheap and quite tasty.

We did go outside of the resort for a few meals

Top Japanese restaurant, Nagisa, great Sashimi chef, goes to a lot of effort in shopping fresh from the markets each morning.

Hotel has very big outdoor swimming pool and nice restaurants.

The hotel was very accommodating to us as a large group and even thanked us for spending time and money at their bar and restaurants.

but compare to other hotels and locations that we’ve stayed in Bali, we definitely can say : we love it here

Easy stroll to other resto for culinary adventure.

Broken tiles and lots of moss/slime so not amazing.

but when you're in it you find missing tiles everywhere was left with a few cuts to my feet.

Tiles were missing on the sides and bottom of the pool.

The shower unit itself was showing signs of wear with a tile broken and rust from the metal frame running down the tiles.

but poorly maintained..tiles are missing everywhere and the pool also is not well maintained.

Only negative on the pool is that there are loose tiles.

but nothing too noticeable as where the tiles were loose were too deep for us to stand on anyways, so I'm not sure what the other reviews were talking about.

The only negative was the hotel it starting to show its age and a little faded in areas, scuffed woodwork and paint and occasional tiles missing around pool

However the pool does have a bit of maintenances needed to maintain it, a few cracked tiles on the bottom, not a deal breaker,

We waddled down to the pool to escape our room, only to find once you're in it, all the tiles on the bottom are loose or floating around like little plastic fish nipping at your ankles.
