It's a  great resort with good facilities, pool, private beach.

The staff, dining options, great amenities, and proximity to beautiful beaches and water sports make this my go to hotel in Nusa Dua.

I also went for a run by the beach in the morning.

Kids movie nights near the beach was amazing for the children and they were raving on about Kendra making it a fun experience.

The beach is absolutely beautiful and has a path where you can go for a little walk, behind the other hotels.

The breakfast was amazing and also the possibility to have dinner at the beach or in the different restaurants of the Hotel was great!

Example: My son released turtles into the ocean and the proceeds went to charity.

Hotel sits right on the beach & has a nice area for sunbathing & free use of paddle boards & canoes etc.

but the beauty of this particular part of Nusa Dua is the lovely walk along the beach (beautifully lit at night with lanterns) where you can enjoy any of the cafes, restaurants and bars of the other hotels if you want to.

The beach is clean , white sands , and quiet .

Love the facilities, the conveniences and the amazing beach front.

The location is beautiful on the beach and the buffet breakfast is extensive.

It was a pity the beach side restaurant was being rebuilt,

Massage by the beach also comes highly recommended.

The setting by the beach is just stunning and perfect for relaxing.

We were upgraded to a bigger room with easy access to the beach and received a free afternoon tea for it too.

There were number of activities organisrd from water sports, bike riding, kayaking or just relaxing by the pool and beach.

The beach is lovely and very clean, and the property also has several huts near the beach so you can relax in the shade.

We were apprehensive about our stay having read about the beachfront restaurant renovation,

Loved the free bikes for rides around the area.

but again you’re in Bali you’re more interested in the outside world which is amazing here
You also get a free access to Bicycles and Kayaks which comes in handy trust me 😉
Food is great!

Bikes and water sports - I’one and his team were able to help with all needs from towels to bikes and pumping up air toys.

We also hired bikes for an hour and rode along the beach front which was good fun.

There should be bicycles with seats for babies .notice board for activities with location and place.

but there were bikes to use for bike riding, two table tennis tables, a small area for badminton and a luxuriously appointed spa.

We tried ping pong, bikes, canoe, pools, and the beach is amazing and safe for kids - plus they sell good ice cream/ sorbet at the beach entrance which we love.

The staffs, miss Dewi, miss Ari, miss Ayu, miss Tini, miss Ardi are kind and friendly 🤗 We just hope that there will be mini go kart bikes for the kids to explore the hotel next year!

They have free rental of bikes if I’m not wrong.

Several swimming pools, restaurants, billiard tables, pedal bikes and free group activities are available.

Also they provided free bikes and kayak for in-house guests which was making much more fun for the day.

They provide services like bike & also accompany you for running, would like to thanks Andika for running with me, it was an amazing experience.

Complimentary stand up canoe, bike, pingpong, badminton services.

The beach is excellent, we rent bikes riding all the way down the Nusa Dua coast.

The hotel also provides a bicycle rental and the guests can borrow from the hotel.

It has free bike, paddle board, kayak, and so many other classes you could choose differently each day.

The kids club is extremely outdated with broken toys and everything felt grimy like they hadn’t been washed and cleaned in 10 years, the Guinea pig area just looks sad and is filled with mosquitoes.

We booked 2 rooms ( 1 deluxe & 1 room with 2 bed rooms ), unfortunately on the deluxe room, the AC was broken & no hot water, we asked to changed to other room

At check out I was asked ‘how was your stay?’ 
I said ‘Not that great, our air conditioning has been broken for almost 5 days and nobody has looked at it’ 
She said ‘Oh ok, here is your bill’ 

There was zero follow up or apologies or discounting our bill at all.

The games and toys are mostly broken and some parts are missing.

Tiles are broken in many places inside the room and outside.

but the principle of the matter- this suite is OLD, if you wanted to sell it, certainly not at this price and be transparent about the construction at the beach!

There is huge construction smack on their beachfront - noisy and an eye sore.

The construction noise from the building of the new restaurant is constant every day.

In the main restaurant down by the beach is under construction I should be finished by November, that will be a really nice space.

The main complaint we have is that since Ikan is closed for construction all meals are now being served on the beach and the staff there are over run and understaffed.

Not sure why this is under construction in the first tourist season after two pretty dead years.

Construction by the salt water pool also wasn't ideal over the December holidays.

Particularly in the rooms - we arrived at night and upon check in, the rooms and corridors looked dark, haunted almost.

The hotel overall inside was quite dark -  different to the open Bali feel of other resorts.

🙌🏻 The only downside perhaps the changing room nearby the pool is a little bit too dark and it was without toilet flushers & showers.

As for my room, the cleanliness rating is 1 out of 10 ( for 5 star hotel), i found spider web on the bath room, dust on the top of wardrobe, the tile in the bathroom had been changed with different color, the room light were little dark,  it's not heavenly bed, the amenities just fine, the decor is too old, the service of staff housekeeping I supposed (when he gave my adaptor) was not polite, no greeting at all.

We saw few wings are not operated and very dark at night (limited lighting).

Our kids love them, and refused to return to our room until it was completely dark outside.

Lighting patern are extremely bad, you can only turn on all the light or turn off all the light, you should solve this problem, also light above the closet are bad, too dark
     C. The hallway to the room too long
      D. There are a little bit bad smell on Linen
      E. Wooden floor not fit properly sometimes there are open or lifted up in some area
      F. Still the interior there is a hudge empty corner or spot between the bed and closet
      G. Bedding condition not as perfect as my other Westin experience because i believed they use old bed.

Anyway here is my review while I sit by their small pool:

1) Room - small, dark, hot due to broken air con - bath tub not clean and tiles broken on floor

2) Pool - for a 5 star hotel on the beach - small pool

3) Pool service - not consistent - we waited 20 minutes just to get somebody’s attention to order food.

We were looked after so well  by the pool with Triadi with food and drinks, it was a tremendous family holiday.

Restaurant and hotel staff is very friendly and prompt in assisting.

The rooms are beautiful, spacious and cool, the beds comfortable, the food delicious and the staff catered to our every need.

Breakfast was lovely and such a wide variety, we enjoy trying all the different foods, especially the fruits.

We had a great time of 3 hrs of our dinner.

And the Prego restaurant does amazing pasta n pizza.

I wouldn’t say the restaurants were cheap, normal Australian prices,

Excellent rooms and facilities, professional and friendly staff, and wonderful food and beverages made our stay a relaxing holiday to remember.

We loved the buffet breakfast , amazing lunches with bintangs on the gazebo next to the ocean .

Restaurants at hotel are broadly very good and fairly priced.

The food was great too specially the Italian restaurant.

We celebrated my son's birthday in the resort and the staff did a excellent job in the decor and arrangements.

Friendly and helpful staffs, from the moment we arrived until we left.

The hotel staff are extremely friendly and really look after the guests very well.

The whole experience was extremely welcoming with friendly staff and excellent amenities and facilities, the most memorable part was during check out when the front office staffs (sherine and yuni)  had a lovely chat with me, they were extremely friendly and lovely, will surely come back and stay in Westin Nusa Dua Bali again.

The staff were so great and couldn’t be more helpful.

The staff at breakfast were lovely and we had a few giggles when asking them about the fruits and getting them to prepare a few we were not familiar with.

After numerous feedback, the hotel sent staff who failed to empathise, we asked for the GM

Agung and Sepata in the front desk took care of everything for us.

The staff are all welcoming & helpful too.

The staff are super friendly and helpful, they were able to arrange all our transport needs and any other requests were managed immediately.

Ms Ayutu and team made our stay memorable, thank you for giving special attention to our occasion.

Beds very firm and we failed to get the air con to move from 19 and enjoyed a screaming child through our holiday.

Definitely not 
Room: dirty and dated, air conditioning was either not working or freezing and there was no in between, called them twice to fix it and in the end gave up and asked for a blanket.

The air conditioning was not cool enough, and even when we mentioned this to a staff member nothing was done.

It didn't receive much sun and the air conditioning would always default to freezing temperatures when we left for our days activities.

We had a few issues whilst we were there and had to move room due to a faulty air conditioning unit

High ceilings across the 4 floors that meant it was naturally cooled even on the hottest of days.

One of the AC units was super noisy and the engine are just above the upper ceiling so you have the noise of these too.

Having paid for "The Level" access, we were whisked off to a separate air cooled lounge, where TL staff took personal care of our check in and explained the facilities.

but the real annoyance was the A/C that cooled the air but did not dry it.

A bit humid (we requested a dehumidifier) and old fashion, 
but this was not a problem for us.

The AC was set to 18 degrees and COULDN'T be changed.

We tried to adjust the air conditioning to no avail.

Our holiday was blowing us away and we had only just arrived!!

Loved our own little pool, and it was never freezing cold.

Beach and pool were great and it was not a problem getting a lounger

Even the beach sellers weren't too pushy and remember your name throughout your stay.

The location is excellent in a quite area with direct beach access.

The location of the hotel is also great, with a private sandy beach and a small green island  (Nusa Dharma) next to it, where you can go for a walk, run or  do some meditation early in the morning or late in the evening.

Their beach very clean and their foods very tasty!

Great amenities with multiple pools, clean beach (lots of effort from beach sweepers), great kids club, golf simulator, gym, multiple pools etc.

The cleanliness, hospitality, location of the hotel, beach water quality, water activities, privacy, quality of the food and beverage selections, the accessibility  of the facilities, variety of activities including for the kids, the gardens, and other amenities.

however this latest visit shows a real drop in service around the pool and beach bar area.

There are five restaurants including the Santeria Beachfront restaurant. We tried all, with the exception of the Sorrento (Spanish food) and would highly recommend the Lotus (Asian); Sakura (Japanese) and Sarteria (varied

We took the opportunity to enjoy some elegant restaurants while they toasted marshmallows at the beach (another activity run by Kids Club) and watched a movie back at Kids Club.

Our favourite restaurants were Sorrento, On the Beach and Lotus, the food was superb with excellent service.

The entire immaculately maintained site is in an area of great natural beauty with lots of wildlife and still with excellent facilities from the 5 different restaurants to the spa, pools, beach, and various activities.

I would have liked to see some outside Thai/bali style massage beds on the lawn area near the beach, I did have a massage at the spa, it was very good, the rooms are too bright

The beach is fine & stand up Paddle was fun too.

The villas are amazing, worth upgrading to the level for the private beach and all inclusive makes it even better.

Dinner at the beachfront restaurant was delightful, well prepared and very tasty.

Coffee was delicious down at the beach cafe.

The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed the daily activities including the bike tour, yoga, Pilates, water stretching and water aerobics and my teenage boys really enjoyed the pool volleyball, waterpolo and basketball.

You can ride a bike, you can sup, surf, kayak,  This resort truly is a first class experience.

We particularly loved the poolside service, being able to hire bikes and all of the watersports on offer.

There are bikes you can hire for and hour and ride them outside of the hotel.

Location was perfect close proximity for beach walks, bike rides, water sports, restaurants and day spas.

We enjoyed the aqua aerobics and stretching, a group bike ride and daily yoga led by the fabulous Agus.

but due to the about 12 hours tidal cycle, there will be good swimming conditions either in the morning or in the afternoon.

Restaurants offer variety of different food, and all inclusive pays off, since includes bikes, and other water sports, along with the food, drinks, snacks.

Cycle rentals and water activities are also part of the package.

but you feel safe and welcome using one of the hotels free bicycles to ride out along the coast.

We started each day with a workout at the gym, bike ride along the gorgeous coastline and gym H2O in the pool.

We took bikes out and rode along the promenade where it became clear that we had chosen the best-looking and busiest hotel in Nusa Dua.

Hotel has everything you need from bikes to paddle boards.

It is a large resort with a lot of kids running around, peddling bikes and screaming kids in the pool.

Free bike rental for an hour which we used to ride along the long stretch of beach and to the water blow.

We tried the bicycle ride with our toddler and that was fun.

The hotel is very well maintained, and they offer free non-motorized activities and bicycles.

They also have free bicycle so you can cycling around.

The hotel is really very well for children, they have a lot of activities for them: kids club with lovely wooden toys, small cars, bicycles, kallak, small pool.

Peaceful hotel, very clean rooms and bathrooms and exceptional cuisine.

Clean and great food, good choices of restaurants.

The room was clean, we really enjoyed the 2 bathroom areas.

The gardens at the hotel along with general areas were superb, very clean and welcoming.

The rooms and bathrooms are clean, well appointed (bar fridge, TV) and relatively spacious. Bath/shower combination and a comfortable, football-field sized bed (we never determined if the sheets were changed each day

We stayed 5 nights on a Luxury Escape Deal all inclusive food and drink staying in a Deluxe Room 
  Nice quiet clean room with decent balcony .The  Resort appeared at least 70% full
  There are plenty of children in the pool area

It’s beautiful, the food is great, the resort is very clean and most importantly the staff is amazing!

The staff were very friendly, grounds were immaculate, great location and very quiet.

We were delighted that the hotel and grounds were immaculately maintained.

The beach is lovely and clean golden soft sand with clear water.

Spotlessly clean, incredible service, brilliant facilities and amazing restaurants!

The resort is immaculate and the scenery is truly amazing.

One of the restaurants (Japanese) was closed during our stay.

One of the restaurants was closed, which was a shame.

I accept this as the hotel has been basically closed for 2 years so I will expect things to start being resolved now it is getting back to full capacity.

Sadly because of Covid it’s all closed apart from a handful of shops, a Starbucks and one restaurant.

The food in all four restaurants (unfortunately Sakura was closed for renovations) was fantastic.

Unfortunately the Japanese restaurant was closed due to works

The pool was closed at 7pm, which was a shame as we wanted to be able to cool off after a night out. 2.

but there was no sign on the directory saying it is closed,  and also front desk did not  inform us when we checked in.

The Collection Center was empty and almost everything was closed because of Covid.

but with our internal & international borders still closed, this is not to be.

but did the job and we arrived at the hotel around 11.15pm - at which time the Level lounge had closed and we were seen to by the front desk.

The pool for the level guests was a great experience, nothing was too much trouble for the guys, moving sun beds to meet our needs, cleaning glasses and delivering fresh cold water which was a must have.

Room service: food was cold and they forgot something.

Food often arrives cold, my ‘wagyu’ steak in the tapas restaurant was something Ive never witnessed or tasted before, disgraceful.

Room service food also bought to us cold, no wonder bali belly is alive and well.

An alarming number of guests had “juicy” coughs and colds

My partner’s meal of nasi goreng came out stone cold.

but then could spend all day without getting cold.

It is really too cold and the hot/cold changes each time you go in to fetch food must not be so good for the health.

Even when, after phoning for help, the maintenance person came several times to one of the rooms to try to correct the issue it made no difference: it was so cold as to be unpleasant.

The hotel room we stayed at was abnormally moist, cold and smelled badly - we  had difficulties to fall asleep under such conditions.

The only downside of being in the Nusa Dua areas was that it took ages to get to see the main tourist attractions due to the traffic.

Eventually I spoke to a manager and they investigated why no one contacted me despite stating they would and their answer was “there was some confusion in communication” by this point we had already booked a hotel somewhere else and due to check out early.

The size of the waves varies: during the rising tide the water is quite calm due to the shallowness of the bay,

Not sure if the staff numbers were impacted due to covid.

I recognize the hotel was extra busy due to NYE,

Knowing that the hotel lack of staffs due to the high seasons and crowd, I decided not to take the room and just staying at departure lounge.

The hotel was very well maintained (this was an important point for us as many hotels are not well maintained due to understaffed during the pandemic).

And due to limited staffs, sometimes the food station is unattended, so guest take the food directly,

When we know that we couldn’t fly back to Jakarta (due to certain restriction from Garuda), we decided to go back to Melia.

This time the hotel occupancy were higher due to higher seasons thus the breakfast area is moved to another restaurant compared to our stay 2 months ago.

Sadly we cannot have it on second day due to rainy day.

but unfortunately due to the current situation we are unable to travel but we have rebooked for September.

though our checkout was 5pm and we were due to fly out at 11pm.

Four stars due to the fact that the prices of the resort food were a bit on the high side together with the fact that the hotel taxi kept being recommended.

My only criticism of the room was that the bathrooms are due for an upgrade, particularly the shower/bath.

Pattri in Sorrento resturant is a very helpful and knowledgeable lady and a great asset.
