My room, pool area, toilets, restaurants, and everything else just shines and there is a very special scent in the whole area.

All of the locations were similar in terms of amenities and customer ratings.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations both in terms of the facility and in terms of the hospitality and amenities.

The rooms are spacious and have all amenities.

The hotel offers fantastic amenities, in-house activities, well-maintained rooms with great air conditioning, and comfy beds.

The room was huge, with excellent amenities and extra seclusion.

The perfect Internal and external design integrated with being in hills and in front of the ocean, will let you fall in love with the amenities and get connected with the surroundings.

The rooms are super sized and designed to give you all the space you need to relax , change , shower.

The bed was huge and the most comfortable we've ever had, the bathroom/dressing area could be completely closed off from the rest, very well laid out, loved the shower.

In other Thai resorts, they usually arrange the bed, bathroom amenities, towels very well and help to organize your toiletries also on towels.

But then again, you are staying in a lovely sort of tree house, very comfortable and with all amenities

The room is large with a spacious bathroom section.

Our flight home was at 10pm and we were able to stay on and offered a room to have a shower before leaving at 6pm as our rooms had other guests coming in, several staff members asked if we needed to make use of this service and there was no extra charge.

The resort amenities, rooms, service, food and drinks are all top-notch.

Fantastic venue, service, food, beverages and amenities.

It is quiet and the resort has everything you could possibly want in beauty, amenities and experience.

Everything also smells dreamy here - from the incense to the shower gel.

We felt connected with the nature around us without having to miss out on any kind of amenities.

Most sadly, this is the loss of the two families that historically have worked on the beach in harmony with the hotel and provided things such as drinks and beach massages.

The private beach is clean, calm water, and nobody trying to sell you anything.

The property is located in lush tropical surroundings with private beach.

The location is excellent on the Surin beach next to the Amanpuri.

It was one of the very few which offer rooms which have direct access from the room onto the beach, which is what we wanted.

Absolutely beautiful resort on one of the most gorgeous beaches I've ever seen.

The Surin is a stunning hotel with amazing private beach views.

It was really nice hotel with the beach on our doorstep.

The private beach is beautiful and very relaxing.

The staff is excellent food is good and the beach is probably the best in phuket.

A second visit and this remains a great resort, on a beautiful beach, with the experience made by the exceptional staff.

So the hotel understandably build a protective wall to prevent all the future visitors of this crappy walkway boondoggle to flood beautiful Pansea Beach.

The rooms include stylish beach hats to help protect you from the sun and they even provide a nice beach bag.

Took a hotel buggy down to the entrance to stroll to Surin Beach and did a private boat trip to Phi Phi provided by the hotel.

The surroundings of the hotel, the private beach and the room were all stunning.

This hotel is stunning with its private beach and the feeling of absolute privacy of the rooms.

Quiet, secluded, private, spacious and relaxing are just a  few words that can be used to describe this location and property.

Before each service, we were welcomed with a delicious tea then taken to a private room where we could enjoy our services side by side.

Very well maintained and clean hotel resort located at a wonderful and clean beach (which is due to the location a real private beach).

From the private beach views, the incredible staff, gorgeous pool, amazing restaurants with full Thai Vegan menus, it felt like heaven on earth.

The beach offers a nice, private ambience.

The hotel is built on the hillside and you will be required to walk few steps to go to their fabulous private beach or to their pool.

It was our third stay at The Surin at private Pansea Beach.

Gorgeous private cottages with a feeling of home with private balcony facing the Sea.

Just a private, quite place, with a nicely mixed public of mostly couples and families, with views to die for from the restaurants.

The room was very private with a beautiful view of the ocean.

For example we ordered a plate of pasta, which arrived sweet- how is that possible?

Exceptional staff, beautiful hotel and rooms, great food and easy access to explore Phuket - we did a guided car tour round old town, big Buddha and Wat Chalong.

Outside of the resort there are several convenience stores if needed, and you can easily take a taxi to tons of restaurants nearby.

In my experience, the restaurants are a chapter by themselves - There is a great variety in the menu and the food is of an extremely high quality.

It was the ideal first stop on our honeymoon - complete with attentive and friendly staff, delicious food, and wonderful views.

The lunch and dinner food was also good and if you didn't want to leave the resort you could easily not do so.

The food is of the highest quality - the breakfast, a dream!

The food and drinks were delicious as well.

Breakfast was amazing, all the choices and al a cart menu, poolside cocktails and food were great.

Went for BBQ & Thai dinner, highly recommended.

We have the Loy Katong Buffet Dinner and it was exceptional Thai traditional food.

We mainly eat at the Thai restaurant which was my favourite.

The food was delicious at every restaurant

Breakfast was a lot better, they have buffet and you can also order off menu.

Every detail from the flowers, music, set up, entertainment and food was arranged to prefection allowing us just to enjoy our day without any worry.

The stairs didn't bother us, because a club car was always available to drive us to our room.

The rooms are pretty small compared to the hotels we have stayed at recently

The check in experience was a breeze and our room was incredible.

The decor of everything (room, restaurants, pool etc) is beautiful and authentic.

In addition to the wonderful rooms and the most beautiful location.

Stunning room, stunning views, wonderful beach and sea, would 10/10 do this again.

We settled onto a beach lounge chair to wait for the cleaners to prep the room.

Everything from the staff, food, rooms and facilities were outstanding as usual (this is our fifth trip here and won’t be the last!).

For a hotel with such a loyal cohort of return visitors - especially in the Christmas period - this shift had effects on goodwill and enjoyment.

All of the staff are happy and enjoy working at this resort- I rarely see this at hotels/resorts around Phuket (staff usually look burned out, or unhappy to be there).

The hotel staff are enormously smiling and very service minded.

The service is superb, and staff genuinely do all possible to ensure you have an enjoyable stay.

They were alwaar extremely friendly and helpfull.

Our friends had recommended the hotel to us initially, and we’re so excited to pass our recommendation on to others. Thank you for making our stay so memorable (helping us celebrate a honeymoon and a birthday in the same stay!)

I wanted to especially thank: Bee, Mujalim, Charida, Beau, and her team (I forget the woman who checked us in, and the Bell men who helped with our luggage), as they went well above and beyond to provide personalized, timely, and thoughtful service and care.

Almost everywhere you have to go through stairs and there are no elevators in the resort. Overall, excellent hotel, nice attentive staff, everything (nearly) perfect :)

As others have mentioned there are a lot of stairs (not something that bothered me at all) just something to note for those who may find it difficult.

The only downside for me was the room was a little small to what I am used & lots off stairs .

So long as that continues, and you’re not daunted by stairs (I’m sure other reviews explain this in detail) then I’d strongly recommend you add The Surin to your vacation plans.

Lastly the stairs to get everywhere in the hotel is very cumbersome.

It just is part of the character that makes this place special - and by the way, you can always ask the staff for a buggy ride to bring you up a bit higher, so the stairs you need to take to your room can be reduced drastically.

Be aware there are A LOT of stairs here - if you have problems with stairs, I would not come.

The only thing is that it has lots of stairs and you might wanna choose lower ground rooms if you have kids or elders.

Many stairs so not suggested for people with moving issues,

Be warned, there are a lot of stairs to get around,

Only negative aspect I can mention is that there are some trees that loose berries at this time of the year and these fall in front of our room which made it look somehow dirty, also on the stairs to walk down to the beach.

If you book a Hillside bungalow there are probably 100 stairs.

but you need a degree of fitness to move from beach to reception as there are a lot of very steep stairs.

Would not recommend for those that need accessibility, too many stairs!

Because of the hillside location, you may need to walk quite a lot of steep stairs to reach your room though.

The hotel is built on a cliff edge and therefore a little challenging for anyone disabled as there are a lot of stairs to manage.

It is built into a steep slope and you need to be able to negotiate stairs.

The only downside was the large amount of stairs to climb to reach the room,

although if you have mobility problems or joint issues, this may not be for you as the cottages are built along the hill which means that there’s a lot of climbing up and down stairs to get anywhere.

The Surin is still the grande dame of Thai hotels that we always relish going back to.

We had a complimentary Thai massage which was also excellent.

We walked on the beach, we all had massages and the last night we ate in their Restaurant and had a lovely Thai meal.

Tasty Thai food and magnificent sunset constitute a memorable dining experience during our stay in Phuket!

We also ate in the Thai food restaurant which I can recommend likewise.

The Thai food was excellent and even for Kids there is always something on the menu.

The Thai food at the Beach restaurant is some of the best you will find anywhere in Thailand.

💕 they made us our favourite cocktails and taught us Thai!

Fantastic Easter break at The Surin Phuket, tranquil location, stunning beach front cottage, delicious Thai food at the beach restaurant, perfect level of staff service and cleanliness.

but when in Thailand we prefer Thai cuisine.

We ate food in all of the hotel restaurants as well as trying some Thai food in the local cafes / restaurants just outside the hotel gates.

The food is amazing especially the very authentic Thai food.

The food was delicious, and I highly recommend the Thai restaurant for a romantic meal.

Definitely would be back 

Oh and definitely try the spa..even

If you do not like to have a massage in the Spa there are several Thai-ladies on the beach offering massage services on your chair.

The spa was a great deal and we visited almost every other day of our visit.

We went to the spa every day and I was so happy we used the spa as it was amazing.

We also absolutely loved the spa and the child activités in the afternoon (parents need a break too from time to time!).

Of course, I had to check out the spa and I had an amazing Thai hand massage with organic oils.

This is comes from the reception staff, the housekeeping, the beach boys, the spa girls and in paticullar the staff at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We had the chance to experience a  massage at the Spa and it was fantastic.

The spa,  food, room and bathroom amenities are at top quality as last year.

The spa situated up on the mountain offers a beautiful retreat from world below and offers traditional Thai treatments.

The drinks are cheaper and the massages cheaper than the spa,

We visited the spa and had massages which were great!

the service, the food, the spa, the location, the setting, the rooms just fantastic.

Quite pity that during my stay some concierge staff and the spa team is really warm, kind and attentive.

The spa has by far the best offering in Phuket.

For a moderate to higher priced all inclusive I did not have high expectations of food quality.

Puerto Vallarta has so many fabulous restaurants it's one place we prefer to not be all-inclusive.

We really enjoyed the all inclusive part about the resort, drinks and food any time.

3) Poolside entertainment is some of the best I've seen at an AI.

but that you can get an any all inclusive.

The staff and entertainment offerings were excellent and the food was outstanding for an all inclusive resort.

Have visited various all inclusive resorts include in Cancun Hyatt Ziva.

The 3 we did eat at- Pureza, Italian and Blaze, were some of the best restaurants I've been to at any AI.

This is probably one of my favorite all-inclusive resorts thus far.

It was my first ever all inclusive resort so the patience part was great.

The food and drinks are delicious, it's a wonderful all inclusive hotel! !

The food was above average for an all inclusive.

My first all-inclusive and I was not disappointed at all.

We've never been to an all inclusive so we didn't know what to expect.

The all inclusive resort food was pretty bland and average at best each day.

but had a large screen TV and great shower area.

Good service, no bathroom privacy if you are with family.

What was even more alarming was the discovery of vomit in the main bathroom by the buffet, as well as in the lobby garbage can.

Great food, amenities and friendliest people.

The bathroom was nice and big, and there is a small sitting area in the main living space.

If you’re looking for a quality resort with amazing staff and amenities look no further.

Alot of the extra amenities that are offered at the other locations weren't offered at this location.

They have a steam room, sauna room, 2 different rock walks, hot tub, scalp massage in the hot tub, infinity pool with jets, and like 5 different showers with cooler water each shower is different.

but that’s why we splurged extra for the club tower jacuzzi suites.

The room itself was nice size, with shower and separate commode area.

Big spacious rooms, all oceanfront, and a large bathroom with private quarters.

Some rooms were recently upgraded / decorated, others visibly aged with inconsistent water pressure, air conditioner, cleanliness etc.

The rooms are clean and has plenty of amenities.

And also, use the amenities at the spa one hour before your massage to have a better experience and you’ll be more relaxed.

Of course the location is a 10/10, can’t beat the private beautiful beach.

Having the felling of a private beach in a cove was nice as well.

The beach was the highlight of the trip - very swimmable and gorgeous at all times of the day and the most amazing sunsets.

The location is great because it’s close to old town and the beach is private.

The beach was beautiful and pretty well maintained for cleanliness.

We’ve stayed at Hyatt Ziva Montego Bay and Punta Cana before.

But the highlight was the Movie and dinner at the beach experience.

We stayed here almost every year pre-Covid and I loved the clean, private beach and laid back vibe of the resort.

The Beach at the hotel is private an amazing, the Hotel has good food and a lot of options, The Staff is very helpull, The Spa is amazing, great people all over the place

Missing some things for accesibility, the ramps are too steep for a wheelchair,  and some places are difficult to get there in a wheelchair, bit everything else was great

The pool is Ok

Great secluded beach surrounded by mountains and jungle.

The view, the beach and the hotel facilities are excellent.

You are truly living beachfront and get access to basically a private beach.

Relaxing, beautiful beach, with big waves on some days.

I would also note that the shore break and tide seems to be really strong on the private beach the hotel sits on.

The beach is beautiful, pools are nice, very secluded from the PV public beach scene.

Food, entertainment, property, beach were all fantastic.

In all the restaurants, on the beach, loud music.
