Our advice is pay the extra to stay in the palace..no need for all inclusive as that's what you get, along with free wi-fi.

First time to Bali, decided to take the Travel Agents recommendation and stay at Nusa Dua Beach.

The resort has a sizeable length of beach and 3 large pools all surrounded by many beach lounges.

The hotel keeps the beach and area,s around the hotel very clean and tidy.

We also booked a romantic dinner on the beach and had a most accomodating waiter named Yudi who looked after us.

the pool, wide and well distributed, the bar and restaurant of any kind and style and an amazing beach with impressive landscapes.

We ate at a few of the other restaurants and also enjoyed them, in particular the Asian restaurant down near the beach.

It's right on the beach, with a lovely walkway between the handful other classy hotels in the area.

I had 2 massages in the beach gazebos which were fantastic and so relaxing listening to the waves rolling in.

but its a beautiful thing to try for the first time,,the white sand beach is just phenomenal and the service from the staff was also so great,,the facilities is of the chain and everything is so kind that greet us everywhere we go,,,,thank you for made my day,,cant wait to get back to nusa dua beach hotel and spa again again and again,

For variety there are many choices at each of the hotels as you walk along the beach.

The other hotels along the stretch did much better with their stretch of beach.

The beach was lovely and clean and the Balinese ladies wandering the beach selling their wares were very polite and sweet.

It was regularly clean and linen changed daily.

However, the guys tried very hard to generally keep the beach and shoreline clean,

Friendly personnel, excellent breakfast, clean beach and also swimming pool.

But cleanliness hygiene and actions for this are all our responsibility and particularly hotel managements.

All the areas at the hotel were always so clean and beautiful.

Worse of all we have already put down a 50% deposit for our photo session.

On arrival we was informed we would need to leave them a deposit of £270 ($350) incase of incidents, this was dissapointing as we were not informed about this before booking.

Don't: 
(1) It might be a burden for regular guess on standard room deposit at Rupiah 1 million per night stay on room deposit & the amount will only credit back 2 weeks upon check-out.

The food was good aswell the only down side was we were never made aware that we have to put a “safety deposit” down and it’s £50 per night you stay they do take it off your bill when you buy drinks,food ect when you charge it to the room.

After trying two different credit cards for the deposit, he abruptly requested cash - when I insisted that there was no reason for my cards to be declined he then found that the EFTPOS machine wasn't working -

Firstly the 4000000 IDR they take off you on check in (security deposit I assume) it has to be a credit card not debit.

The only disappointing thing is the deposit in 366$ we had to pay at check-in.

Despite this, we would return to Nusa Dua Beach Hotel at the drop of a hat and would recommend it to everyone!

That being said, the Nusa Dua beach hotel offers something a bit different.

We had a wonderful retreat during the Day of Silence at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel.

Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa will give you best deal for your room and their accomodation, we also got upgraded room and free of pre wedding charge.

We recently stayed at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa.

The 3 restaurants have varied and delicious meals catering for all food needs and preferences.

Breakfast was great really hot food which is a nice change.

Pools and facilities are ample, even attended a free water aerobics class followed by a cooking class with free lunch from the class,
Breakfast was filled with variety of food, fruits and drinks and the staffs were amazing, my hats off to them.

The club is peaceful for breakfast, afternoon tea & evening cocktails.

There are fish, herons and other birds sat in the water besides you while you eat.

I enjoyed dinner at Tamarind, a beachside restaurant.

Back home this meal and experience would easily be around 1000 + I would highly recommend this as I would do this every visit , I don’t know how I could ever top this .

The restaurants are reasonably and offer a range of choice.

The big positive for us is the standard of food, drink and service in the Palace Club Lounge.

3 restaurants (1 was closed during our visit) Amazing breakfasts.

The food was great and the hotel was spotlessly clean.

Here a la carte breakfast ( which was probably the same menu as available in the buffet) was available, afternoon tea and cocktails.

The restaurants were lovely and all staff hospitable and caring.

The lobby bar was often crowded during happy hour so service could be slow

though were the slow service in the bamboo restaurant (which is really very nice), you would always have to call for service (particularly upstairs) and drinks would take forever to arrive.

There is a glass panel and water will go allover the floors.. then the water pressure is very slow so taking a shower become a bit of an task.

Even tough the meals are now reduced to breakfast, wich were delicious and available until early afternoon, we found also thanks to the recommendations given, plenty of alternatives outside.

Great advice in relation to what to do and where to go as well as just relaxing next to the pool with a cocktail.

While you’re there, make sure to ask Eve for food recommendations!

By the way, the Banyu villa is also a major recommendation for couples on honeymoon (they also have a wonderful flower candle light dinner).

but decided to go all out (on the advice of other reviewers) and book the pool suite villa.

They have a beach club that we didn't even use because we were so content to just stay at our villa.

Close to the beach and the hotel area is very safe and quiet, the main pool is big and beautiful.

from the airport, and no plains noise since they seem to start from a different direction away from the Resort close by the beach and other sightseeing places like Uluwatu.

The beach is only about a 5 min walk and is lovely early evening.

It was a choice when booking between a beach hotel and the Jamahal, which is a very short walk down a nice little lane from the beach, we were so glad we chose the Jamahal.. We generally like to get out and explore and when we did, we found ourselves longing to get back to the comfort of our villa.

The resort is a five minute walk to the beach.

We hired a motor bike and each day headed out to Bining beach, Pedang pedang beach or out shopping.

The beach is just around the corner and you can book a driver for day tours.

The pool is great and the partnership with Ibiza in Bali Beach Club means you can also enjoy the beach and soak in the atmosphere on the beach.

If you stay at the resort, they give you access to the nearby Ibiza in Bali Beach Club, where you can soak up the rays or go for a dip in the ocean.

Less than 5 minutes walk to a wonderful sandy beach (clean !).

We loved having breakfast on our patio every morning, and relaxing by the pool and at the beach club.

Once we took the shuttle bus to the beach club, and walked back on the beach.

Later for dinner we went across the road to the famous seafood restaurants on Jimbaran beach and had a beautiful dinner watching the stunning sunsets.

The beach is only 10minutes of walking away and it’s very clean too.

And one more perk of staying here - you get a free access the beach club 'Ibiza in Bali', in Jimbaran.

The resort is in a fantastic location with many things to do in the surrounding area such as Kuta Beach and Beachwalk Mall.

From the resort, it is a short ride to the attractions in the south - Uluwatu temple (the sunset from here is gorgeous), Nusa Dua beach etc.

The food was amazing, the spa was amazing, and our whole experience was just perfect. We really wanted an 'authentic' Balinese experience that the larger hotel chains can't really offer and this fit the bill (with, of course, added comfort and luxury that one would expect for a honeymoon!)

It rained all day, and we were offered a chic spa massage, the hotel has only 13 villas, so it was very quiet and calm.

Offered us an upgrade deal which eventually we took (good sales girl) this included 120 minute massage and a villa with own pool.

We ordered a couple spa treatment, 90 minutes of heaven, I think that was the best massage i ever had.

We were lucky to have an upgrade for a final night of pur stay and we moved to a villa with a private spa room, huge private garden with swimming pool and fireplace.

They were so kind and accommodating; they included many unexpected complimentary services and goods, including a one hour massage at the spa!

We stayed in the Spa Pool villa for 2 nights the the Master Pool villa for 3 nights and both were amazing.

Also got a  massage and felt so relaxed afterwards.

We can HIGHLY recommend Jamahal resort and spa for everyone that wants to celebrate life as it should be done :)

We also had a fabulous 90 min spa treatment which was incredibly relaxing.

Minor grumbles were that the TV was too small for the size of the room, it certainly couldn’t be easily viewed from the bed and the hard wooden furniture itself was uncomfortable - low backs and little cushioning -

With the hot and humid Bali weather using the toilet outside is VERY uncomfortable and inconvenient, especially with the bugs.

but decoration has an uncomfortable mix of southeast Asian, and western elements.

It was my first time going to Bali and I appreciated her expert advice.

Took advise from my agent who attended some Bali function in Brisbane and was impressed with the Nikko - value for money, right on the beach great  option for me.

But best possible advice after being in Bali for a week: go someplace else!

My recommendation is if you are looking to take a trip, say Ululate Temple, you arrange with the hotel and their driver.

We went to this resort on the recommendation of a friend.

My advice to travellers is go to local supermarket 'coco-mart' which does nice fruit/snacks and is air-conditioned.

My husband and I recently spent 16 nights at the Grand Aston Bali on recommendation from friends who stayed there last year.

Pak gives as well good advice for our own benefit like keeping away glasses or camera from the monkeys that could easily grab it.

The Grand Aston was just perfect, I booked an ocean view room following the advice of this site and was not disappointed, the room was so spacious, clean and comfortable - especially the bed, good wifi reception and TV for the times when you need to check in with home or be absorbed in a movie.

), and we were given lots of great advice on tours and activities in the area.

Take my advice: if you are hungry- go across the hotel & walk to ur left.. u'll find a small Indonesian restaurant : Mandollow café.

We stayed at the Aston Bali for our first trip to Bali on recommendation from our Travel Agent.

Most places serve well, waiters are attentive and give good recommendations.

Our family on vacation truly enjoys the bird's eye-view of the horizon from the hotel high tower by the shore, where starry sky, ebbs and tides are our observation delights.

The garden looks beautiful, the beach was not special; shallow and a lot of stones, no restaurants.

We stay 2 nights at Nikko Bali, the hotel is quite luxury and well designed, strategic location and place are beautiful with private beach.

They have swimming pool and they have own beach, kids club etc.

The beach area is nice and if you are used to living near a F1 track the the constant revving engine noise from the countless Jetskis zooming across the sea, and the waft of fuel every now and again.

The hospitality, spacious and clean room, tasty breakfast, and  the direct access to the beautiful beach are all are very great.

The resort is on the beach and the backend faces numerous shops and restaurants, all very reasonably priced with live entertainment.

We chose to pre-book a romantic beach dinner and we were not disappointed, the set up was stunning and very romantic for our special trip - the steak the prepared for our main was to die for!

The hotel beach offers the most beautiful sunrise too and is a key selling point for the venue.

And they offered lots of other little things like a romantic dinner on the beach, local cuisines and dance nights etc.

A popular destination for foreign tourists who spends weeks here enjoying the beautiful environment and the sandy beach.

Friendly and efficient staff, good buffet, the excellent Italian restaurant (with live musicians), very good rooms and located next to the beach, great bars and a myriad of high-quality spa massages.

but I found the hotel very noisy late at night/early am as noise echoed off the tiled walkways with foot traffic, and the relatively large gap under the door also let conversations intrude easily.

Room looked old, doors were broken, breakfast was sad (except for the nutella),

$15 AUD for a cocktail is Way too high, when you can go next door and get them for half the price!
