Our stay at the Vira Bali Hotel was perfect.

With it’s close proximity to the airport, great central location next to Lippo Mall and local money changers, it makes for a great first night or two on our trip to Bali.

What stood out about this hotel was the friendliness of all the other hotel guests and I think I would struggle to return to a large resort in Bali now after experiencing the difference of staying at this beautiful boutique hotel.

Vira Bali was very accommodating as we arrived after midnight due to flight delays and our driver was waiting as were the check in staff.

Will go back to Vira Bali in a heart beat.

The hotel has upgraded the rooms and Added new suites .

After a week of scuba diving in Komodo, we arrive in Bali and stay in the vira bali hotel for 3 nights.

Pool great room loved all the Bali touches.

Overall a good airport hotel for one or two nights to start your trip in Bali.

When we arrived at Bali airport there was a driver waiting for us.

A balcony is my must in bali and the rooms include balconies.

My boyfriend and I vacationed in Bali and stayed at the Vira Bali Hotel.

It is very close to Lippo Mall, restaurants, waterbom park and airport.

Waterbom park is around 10 minutes walk as are all the restaurants and markets.

Walking distance to Waterbom and the center of Kuta and Cinemaxx across the street.

Decent clean hotel, good pool, friendly staff, nice breakfast with plenty of options.Easy walk to shopping centre and waterbom park, beach, etcAnd very close to the airport, 5 - 10 minute taxi tops (be careful with transport from the airport - walk away if anymore than 100k rp for a family).

It near by waterbom, around 15-20 minutes walking from the hotel.

Very friendly staff and nicely situated in a busy area across from Lippo Mall, a few minutes walk from the beach, Discovery Mall and Waterbom Water Park.

Walking distance to Discovery Kuta Beach and Waterbom.

Great walking distance to Discovery shopping mall, Waterbom park and many restaurants and market stalls.

Within walking distance to everything (waterbom, beach, discovery mall, poppy lanes, etc)

A short walk away is the Waterbom water park and Discovery Mall.

Vira Bali is close Waterbom, Discovery mall (walking distance) and short ride to kuta square.

The location is good if you consider the LippoMall directly across the road and the Discovery Mall and Waterbom park less than a km away BUT the traffic is manic where just crossing the road can be quite dangerous - beware the excessive scooter drivers - they are totally undisciplined regarding road sense and pedestrian safety!.

Perfect location (across the road from LippoMall), 5-10min walk to discovery mall and waterbom park - the room is clean and actually looks like the photos, the pool is quite small

The Grill Restaurant caters to all tastes and their Nasi Goreng is the best.There is no need to catch a taxi as a short walk will take you to The Discovery Centre, Waterbom Park and Kuta central shopping area.

Great Indian restaurant "Queen" within walking distance as is Waterbom, Discovery mall and the beach!

They offer a free airport collection and drop off service,  which is great.

Firstly close to airport under 5 minutes and on main shopping strip of Kuta.

A great boutique hotel, close to the airport and beaches.

The location is superb, ten minutes from the airport and in a good tourist location.

It was really awesome that the hotel is close to the airport when you've been traveling for many hours and you just want to lay down and sleep.

It's close to the airport and you get free shuttle and acros the road you have a mall with a supermarket.

Pick up from airport and drop off was fantastic also.

They were organised and pick up arranged from the airport.

Location is easy to go anywhere and you could walk from the airport

The location was 10 mins away from the airport and across the road from the Lippo Centre.

Close proximity to the airport and shopping centre and is on the main street.

The location is walking distance to Kuta shopping and beach if that’s what you after and close to the airport.

It's near the airport and there's a shopping mall directly opposite.

All up staff great ,oh yea and you also get picked up for free from Airport. Excellent.

The pick up from the hotel at domestic airport was smooth and it took 10 mins from airport to the hotel.

We were looking for a hotel near the airport and we would choose this hotel again.

If you want to be near the airport, this is ideal.

Perfect location if you want to stay near the airport for a late night flight out.

We were only here for one night and selected the hotel due to proximity to the airport and easy walking distance to malls and eateries.

The breakfast buffet was good and it was nice to have the airport shuttle as a freebie perk. Best.

Recommendations for hotel team : Please provide more storage spaces in the rooms

Recommendation for the travelers : Use Online or the Bluebird taxi's there are many drivers standing outside the hotel - they will charge double the amount than online or government blue taxi's

The only gripen as such is that instead of taking an inprint of the credit card when we arrived they took the payment for the room.

I also booked a meeting room for the tea ceremony, and I remembered seeing Ms. Ririn in charge for the occasion.

Which they could take pre-authorization blocking an amount to cover the room charges and incidental!

After that, the staff asked me to have some more red wine without telling me that it would be charge.

We ordered to small Bintang and were charged idr 95.000 extra.

Either they were never there or they were trying to charge us for something without reason; we even left our excess items for the staff to share.

We have been staying at Vira for 10 years and have never been charged for kids.

What is more annoying is that in the website they indicate Accor card are honoured.

No more fighting over who can use a power point to charge a phone.

The store owners are cheeky and will try to charge A$25 for a sundress.

Only issue was that they insisted the room deposit be paid in cash, so at the end of the holiday I had 500 Rupiah that I had no time to spend - a card transfer would have been much easier.

We had dinner there once, the chicken tasted like rubber, the rice was cold and tasted like week old lumpy glue and it was too expensive after all the charges were added.

I e-mailed the hotel and received full co-operation from the staff and their agreement not to charge me for the missing night.

Got deluxe connecting room and it was very nicely decorated and had everything.

Our room looked onto the catholic church and pool - it was a delight to hear the choir practising their christmas carols.

Rooms are spacious & staff are very thorough with cleaning - which was a relief as we were here during the Coronavirus outbreak.

The room we stayed in was clean,  spacious   well equipped, with a mini fridge,  TV, sitting area, and was right next to the pool,  accessed right outside our double rear door.

Rooms and hotel grounds are spotlessly clean and the shower is so good (better than mine at home).

It’s not a luxurious hotel, so for what we paid it’s value for money and can not be faulted.

Loved how clean the room was and  breakfast was really good as well.

The hotel itself was a little gem - efficient check in , clean room with nice bathroom & comfortable bed .

We had a lovely stay for our first night in Bali, rooms were clean and decent.

however, I think they over-treated it with chemicals as I got a green tinge on my skin and nails each day.

but on the last visit our room had a persistent sewer smell, and the A/C didn't work very well.

One of the bathrooms had a cracked sink and the toilet constantly emitted a foul smell.

I did not give a 5-star because, at one point, there was a stench in the bathroom that was immediately corrected by the maintenance department.

but the only issue was myself and daughter were put in a room (2nd flr) wherein the sewage smell was coming out of the bathroom drain and it was really bad.

The rooms required some more maintenance though, shower heads needed to be cleaned, pillows and blanket were lumpy and room smelt really bad when we first arrived.If you come here to relax be mindful that Lippomall across the road has a very loud entertainment/cover band every night that echoes through the hotel courtyard.

but instead they  brought spray, which leaves strong bad smell.

The should use bleach and a brush to desinfect for sure.

I did notice that the towels in the room had a slight smell; as if they hadn't been washed or properly dried.

2) Foul sewage smell emanating near the main hotel entrance gate.

From the beginning hotel smells and does not have any privileges.

The next day the pool was actually closed off and when we inquired why, was told the chemicals were being adjusted.

The beanbags are too hard to get in and out of for older guests and get a bit smelly when wet.

The first thing that hit me on entering the room was the back flow odours of the drains only to find that this smell emitted every evening form the drains.

The Vira Bali is a lovely hotel in a horrible town, Kuta is ugly and overpriced the beach is disgusting and as this was our first trip to Bali we where disappointed with what we saw.

The A/C in the rooms are too noisy to leave on when you're trying to sleep, the pillows and beds are lumpy, I had to help my mum in and out of the bath as it's too high (shower is in bath), after 5 days the bathroom smelled bad and got worse everyday.

The rooms are starting to get tired and the ground floor room that i stayed in during this visit had an obnoxious smell emanating from the bathroom.

The bed is very comfortable, the staff is cool.

Definitely looking forward to visit again as it was such a homely and welcoming stay!

The staff was absolutely amazing - polite and smiling the whole time we were there.

All the staff were excellent & very helpful.

The resturant and cood is of high quality with great service by all staff and especially Dewi who is a true leader,i cannot fault it.

Had a lovely break in a beautiful environment with beautiful and tentative staff.

So we have been traveling for the past 2 months and staying in many places in Bali…but we decided to stay in Kuta and closer to the airport because we leave in couple of days back home…this hotel is nice, as I mentioned…it is close and more convenient for our last few days in Bali.

The best feature was the swimming pool, I think it is one of the best pools in Bali which makes up for everything thing else lacking here.

Recently returned from another 15 nights at the HGI Bali and its great to see that the superb friendly service (from all those you encounter at the hotel) is still being maintained - thank you.

Bali is always my first choice of holiday destination and these stars mentioned above are making me choose HGI always for my stay.

Over all great place to stay a few nights before or after a flight into or out of Bali

Good hospitality from Front of the house, special mention to Mr Prima from Garden cafe, always help me to share the information about Bali.

As always in Bali the staff very friendly.

Hilton Garden Inn Bali Ngurah Rai Airport has an excellent and perfect location close to the airport, couldn't agree more on the shuttle service punctuality and people in charge were all organize and very welcoming
During my stay, I had a massage service that i couldn't get enough as it is affordable :)

but then every one in Bali is very polite.

We booked the Hilton before flying out of Bali the only good thing was acceptable food and close proximity/shuttle to airport.

They definitely made our stay delightful - we will definitely stay at this hotel when we visit Bali again

d'sHilton Garden Inn is located 2km from Bali Airport, not in proximityof every thing.

One small improvement will be to provide the free refill of water bottles upon request as Bali is generally very hot and other similar hotels tend to provide it in South East Asia.

I needed a hotel close to the airport before my night flight and booked a dayroom which was super convenient.

The location is really near from airport.

If you have a late flight in, or an early flight out, it’s a good choice, as it’s a quick taxi ride to the airport.

Close to the airport and the next day the staff helped me to arrange for a driver so I could get to my destination.

Hotel is convenient in the sense its only 10mins from airport.

Hint 1: it is in walk distance to airport, which can be reached by feet esily just not most direct way.

The hotel is about 500 meters from the airport and during this time as passengers are so rare they stop the complimentary shuttle.

but for the price, proximity to airport, and services/accommodation supplied it is well worth the money.

but similar to this) needs a high applause for helping to drive back and forth to airport few times on 13th march.

There is also a free shuttle bus that will take you to the airport every half hour.

Hotel provides free shuttle bus service between airport and hotel with 30 mins interval (The ride is about 5-10 mins). Nothing around the hotel, better register Grab (Uber in S.E.A.)

Although close to the airport it would not be a pleasant or easy walk with luggage. .

Very close to the airport, perfect for late arrivals.

The only reason to stay here near to the airport is to catch the next day's flight.

We stayed for three nights and had a very pleasant stay, friendly courteous staff and being close to the airport is also  very convenient.

If you want cheaper, close to the airport with shuttle, there are plenty of options.

A very good hotel if u want to transit tru other parts of bali.the suite rooms are very good.the breakfest is average.the pool area is spectacular.would recommand it as a stop if.u want to be close to the airport.

but given the hotels proximity to the airport and the value the Hilton brand cache enables, it seems unlikely the hotel couldn’t afford to recognise frequent returning guests a little more.

Hilton Garden Inn Bali  is very close to the airport and it provides free shuttle to and from the airport to the hotel.

even though its close to the airport, its relatively quiet.

Firstly I would like to thank Ms.Anggrina from reservations in arranging the airport shuttle and placing request for my connecting room.

They also offer a free shuttle to the airport.

They have a free airport shuttle which is handy .

They have an airport shuttle that runs every 30 minutes.

Good food clean rooms and there is an airport shuttle that provides transportation to and from the airport.

Still a nice experience and they have a free shuttle to the airport also

Free shuttle to the airport leaves every 30 mins and takes less than 10 mins.

Got an amazing price for 2 of us plus breakfast and shuttle  to airport.

Check out was drama free and the free shuttle to the airport was fine.

The Airport shuttle was also easy to use.
