Bob knows Bali very well and can give a lot of advices for eg drivers, market, things to do, cheap simcard, food around etc.

We first wanted to stay at Aahh Bali for just 2 nights after our arrival at the airport in Denpasar, because Jimbaran is pretty close to it and was said to be a nicer spot than Kuta and Seminyak.

I only stayed one night at Aahh Bali Bed & Breakfast and I felt like home right away.

We will definitely be staying with them again next time we’re in Bali!

Enjoy the Balinese architecture and chill by the pool or explore Jimbaran, Uluwatu and the Bukit peninsula - either way, Aahh Bali as your base will not disappoint.

We stayed 5 days at AahhBali, and again for single nights between visits to other islands or to be in Bali for our international flight home.

Very close the airport so a convenient place as the first or last night of your trip in Bali.

I arrived before my boyfriend and the hosts made me feel so at home giving me recommendations and even had dinner with me so I wouldn’t have to eat alone!

They can make recommendations as for where to eat in the local area, and Lydia who used to be a chef at the Grand Hyatt in Singapore cooks up an absolutely wonderful breakfast every morning (I recommend the Mexican eggs with a fruit plate and ginger tea).

Lydia is a chef and her homemade food is just great, and made with love.Bob is alwaya prepared to give you some good advice about the island, transport and many other things.

The owners Bob and Lydia are extremely hospitable, friendly, open-minded and can give thousands of worth advices how to spend wonderful time in Bali.

Breakfast was really pleasant, with other guests, by the poolside.

Lydia's breakfasts were excellent and you could have a different breakfast every day!

Their breakfast was also amazing, super tasty and only made with the best quality food!

Lydia made breakfast for us as part of the BnB experience and boy it is good.

I love how we can order breakfast in the early mornings.

Lydia is a great chef and the food is excellent so enjoy the breakfast and the dinner.

The breakfast was delicious and they have the cutest puppy we fell in love with.

Bob and Lydia were wonderful hosts, the breakfasts were awesome, the beds were super comfy, the surroundings so beautiful and peaceful we didn’t want to leave.

But the best is the homemade breakfast like chocolate pancakes or omlett.

The place itself is a hadden treasure, off a very busy road far enough not to hear the noisy traffic.

Tho we were busy during the day, we found some movie time a couple nights.

Only in the evening at sunset time it became a little busy.

but we were busy every day, so it wasn´t a problem for us.

The main road is very busy and at rush hours it might take 30 to 50 minutes for 5 kilometers!

Indeed, getting to the Jimbaran beach can be a bit stressful if you take a walk, because it takes about 25-30 minutes along the road with busy traffic.

It is down a lane-way off a very busy main road.

Moreover, as animal lovers, we really enjoyed being surrounded by lovable cats and dogs that Bob and Lydia shelter at their home.

They also do such great work fostering animals and we had so much fun playing with the dogs and cats.

Lydia loves animals and takes care of many dogs and cats that she has rescued from around Bali.

I was looking for somewhere that truly pet friendly as I was fostering two little kittens.

Especially for our kids it was great to play with that plenty of lovely young cats and the dogs as well.

We were greeted by this over enthusiastic dog, only for him to run away and hide in the bushes.

We enjoyed our stay and we higly recommend to visit Bob and Lydia as well as their dogs and cats. :-)

This is a lovely intimate B&B in lovely kept grounds with pets for company when other guests are away during the daytime.

Overall we felt overwhelmed when Bob and Lydia were there to send us off , which was very touching and Lydia had a big bag of chocolate chip cookies which my son devoured later.Miss the place and their adorble pets who mind their own business.

One of the big highlights was just hanging with their sweet rescue dog Stumpy by the pool.

This little dog Stumpy has found a wonderful home and is just starting to learn that not all humans are cruel and he has found his forever home.

None of the meals she prepared fell into the rating of good

They deserve their high ratings on trip Advisor- I know how much effort and passion it takes to get such consistent reviews.

though that stop me from giving this a five star rating and I think it's important that people understand what kind of a place they are going to.

If you use google map, NEVER FOLLOW its direction that goes through Jl Raya Uluwatu
because it will direct you to go from from behind the house (which has no entrance from there), the right direction is you should ALWAYS take the entrance from Jl Uluwatu II

Having stayed in Sanur for the first five days at a reasonable hotel, it was great to arrive at the beautiful Lily Lane Villas in Ubud for the second part of our Bali holiday.

Great location - far enough out of Ubud central to feel like you are escaping the busyness and staying in a jungle oasis and in the “real” part of Bali (the local village and temple wrap around the villa complex),

The restaurant area is set in beautiful gardens that are a lovely escape from the busyness of Bali.

This was my first solo international trip and I decided to go to Bali with the Sofe Travel Network and they arranged my accomandations, i had no clue that i was staying at this most beautiful villa in Ubud.

My first trip to Bali, and what a lovely place to stay!

We once again returned to ‘Lily Lane’ (Our Bali Home) to celebrate a very special 50th Birthday.

with all on offer in Bali and I’ve chosen to stay at Lily Lane three years running! Why?

A wonderful haven to relax and soak up a gentle and beautiful Bali.

I only wish I could transport Jillian and all at Lily Lane Villas to each place we stay in Bali.

The stay at Lily Lane Villas was one of the highlights of our Bali trip.

I highly recommend taking advantage of the very good kitchen at the property -- eating a delicious breakfast in the peaceful jungle (where all we could hear were the frogs and other animals and the flowing water of the fountain on the property) was one of my favorite moments in Bali.

Stayed at beautiful Villa Frangipanni for our first week in Bali in August.

The staff turns lights on right before it gets dark so you never come home to a pitch black villa, you can order breakfast so it is ready or even delivered to you in the morning, and there is always a sweet soul to chat with and learn as much or as little about Bali as you like.

Would definitely love to come and stay again, next time we are in Bali.

Four family members stayed in lovely villa , the staff where so pleasant and helpful, organising taxis , restaurant recommendations.

Ask Jim for his recommendation for dinner spots - he suggested three places with great views that were our favourite meals of the trip.

Made, Jim and the wonderful staff make you feel welcome and are more than happy to give advice on where to visit, teach you about the area and help with your Bahasa.

Upon arrival she enquired about our interest in the area and made recommendations.

I booked on the recommendations of several Australian friends, who were full of praise after their holidays and Yoga Retreats Thank you to the owners and staff who ensured my stay in Ubud was especially happy and memorable.

Their recommendations for dining, cocktails, hairdressers, massages and shisha were all on point.

They gave us great advice about the places we wanted to go, and specific places for a couple of things we were wanting to see.

They are pretty much your one stop shop and can help you with any tour bookings or advice you may need.

Whether a taxi or a tour, a spa or a manicure, a massage or advice about restaurants or shopping, nothings was a problem.

I can't speak highly enough of Jillian and Made, our Australian and Balinese hosts, who went out of their way to make us feel at home, give us great advice and generally just make our stay a wonderful experience.

They gave us some great recommendations for places to eat, places to walk and to visit.

The Villas are so clean, big beds+comfy, free shuttle at certain times of the day into ubud, local knowledge and helpful advice on good resturants and things to do,walk to resturants 10min.

Made and Wayan are very special people who think about the details and give absolutely incredible recommendations for reasonably priced, off the beaten track tours.

but when we needed a driver, wanted some assistance or just needed advice about day trips or restaurants, the staff could not be more helpful and supportive.

Our hosts were truly amazing and came up with lots of local recommendations to keep our 11 year old daughter entertained including elephant rides and Bali swings.

Had a week staying here and just had the best time  The villas are super clean, the service is attentive and prompt, and the local advice of the friendly staff was invaluable.

Jillian and Jim and all the staff were friendly and helpful, with lots of advice on where to go and what to do to maximise your stay in Ubud.

Jillian went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible with great local knowledge and advice.

Everything was nicely arranged (airport pick up, introduction to Penestanan, recommendations for activities etc).

Our Villa was so tropical with such a relaxing vibe.

The energy of the villas and surrounds is lush and utterly romantic.

The feel and atmosphere at Lily Lane is exceptional and I cannot imagine anyone not loving a stay here.

Villa was spatios and had unique balinese style.

but also the place itself, which is located in a quiet neighborhood in Penestanang surrounded by lot of nature with a nice atmosphere.

Happily say in the delightful vibe of the great man Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator..

It was impeccably clean and felt very homely.

I  was very impressed with the gorgeous, serene surroundings and the clean, comfortable accomodation of Lily Lane Villas.

Everything decorated in the traditional Balinese style.

Since It was so dark, they were kind enough to bring 2 beam lights for pool which made my wife comfortable to stay in pool during night.

butter and jam (gluten-free available on request) plus either mixed juice (a thick, bright pink concoction) or fruit.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and truly reflective of the beautiful hospitality that Bali is known and loved for.

but there are much closer shops and restaurants  in Penenestan village (5-10 min walk)
Lily lane villas are a calm and relaxing place to stay, set in beautiful surroundings just 5 min drive from the hustle and bustle of Ubud.

Our villa was beautifully designed, comfortable and spacious with a private pool and outdoor eating area.

The gardens are lush,the pool and outdoor living area was like our own private resort.

Jillian and Made and their team create a very personal atmosphere and spared no effort to make our visit in Ubud as convenient as possible.

The grounds and building are stunning and really tastefully decorated.

The Lily Lane villas are not only beautiful, clean, tidy, homely and comforting -

Our one bedroom villa was tastefully  decorated, very roomy and comfortable; and had its own private pool.

The perfect place to unwind after a day of touring,shopping or exploring or to just spend the day hanging by your private pool in the lush gardens
We always indulge in a few great massages in the garden spa during our stay.

In general the house is spacious and has a lovely secluded garden whilst placed in a real Ubud village.

Staff were exceptional cleaning pool garden and house  twice per week, always very polite they saw to any little requests that might occur

The villas had well appointed pools, with comfortable  common areas where we enjoyed cooked breakfasts from produce gathered from their own lush gardens.

The grounds are stunning, with plenty of gardens.

The villa is situated in a private garden setting with your own pool.

The Garden and the whole ground is so tropical and peaceful which gives always a very harmonic feeling.

It's perfect for a family vacation or for honeymooners who want to relax and enjoy the beautiful gardens.

Our private villa (Frangipani) was gorgeous, with a lovely garden and pool, and

The home I rent is in fantastic condition, and well maintained, inside and out (garden).

A wonderfully relaxed retreat for the family - a authentic Balinese villa set in a tropical paradise with a private pool and beautifully maintained gardens.

We shared a three bedroom for friends for a week - complete with a large garden and pool - delightful.

The gardens and greenery are stunning and the villas are all unique, clean and tidy.

Our villa was gorgeous, and so well presented; our own slice of paradise - the bathrooms even had their own gardens!

Such a warm, welcoming place, and the gardens flowing down to the river are an absolute delight.

Our villa was very clean and comfortable and also very private and secluded with walled  garden and our own private pool.

We had Villa 1 with a lovely private pool and gardens and a beautiful bungalow.

Their are some great new little eateries near by or if you don’t mind a walk 1k down the road you gave plenty of choices.

We enjoyed room service dinner which was fresh and tasty.

We arrived late in the day and were hungry and Jim at reception was able to organise food to be delivered to the villa.

Right outside your door of the villa you will find great (yet cheap) restaurants who willingly prepare all types of meals throughout the day.

Great food, spacious and nicely appointed rooms.

There are some nice local and tourist restaurants within walking distance.

but also close in walking distance  to cafes restaurants and shops.

The food is delicious and everything about the common areas are peaceful.

The food was great and the villa was spotless and had everything you needed

Jillian was very welcoming and organised a group dinner one night which was great for me as a solo traveller.

And the little walk across the bridge and thru the little jungle walk to shops and restaurants was great.we stayed in villa 5, 2x bedrooms and the villa has everything you need, plus a big thanks for the vegemite.

It's also very close to the best yoga studio (Intuitive Flow) and many of the best restaurants and cafes (Zest, Revive, Bella by Sage etc).

Lovely menu available for all meals including snacks and alcoholic/ non alcoholic drinks .

Jill's local knowledge was such an asset - planning restaurants, organising drivers and day trips; as well as navigating the currency.

I particularly enjoyed having early breakfasts in the Lily Pad dining room, and the food was to die for!

), on-site massage/spa services, laundry, and the restaurant, the Lily Pad, for very good meals in a pretty and peaceful restaurant.

There are also beautiful rice paddies all around once you step off the main roads and the local village had lots of great places to eat and have coffee.

The housekeeping is immaculate and the Lily Pad provides a great menu including the best mango jam and orange marmalade on earth.

The food services were very good and The resort team can steer you to some great restaurants as well.
