The staff are welcoming and extremely helpful, the only slight negative was that the food in the restaurant is fairly average.

Food in the restaurant for dinner was average for the dinners we had for our half board package , and we also tried the a la carte items which were slightly better.

The price level for restaurant and services is average.

Overall, we would definitely recommend Sanctoo suites and villas, especially if you’re planning to visit Bali Zoo. We will be back :)

Me, My Wife and our Son Liam had our most amazing family time together and discovered the most exciting adventures in Bali Zoo with some of the exotic creatures and animals over there.

We also loved the fact that we were minutes away from Bali Zoo and can actually hear the lions roaring and the monkeys howling from the Sanctoo lobby.

We love the flexibility of visit to Bali zoo which was the highlight of my daughter’s stay in Sanctoo.

By staying here we got unlimited access to bali zoo which is exactly the main reason i stay here at first,

Furthermore, we received free tickets to Bali Zoo too!

Only 3mins walking distance to Bali Zoo, which is super convenience.

Included was unlimited access to the Bali zoo, a choice of animal feeding (feeding either elephant or tiger), and discounts on restaurant.

We can go to Bali Zoo as many times as we want during our stay.

Bali zoo is one of the most pleasant zoo we have visited around the world.

Our package included breakfast and free admission to the Bali Zoo which is adjacent to the hotel and can be reached within a few steps.

We had a pleasant stay in Sanctoo.. Everything was great, the room was big, the environment was so nice and we could go to the bali zoo without any additional cost..

I stayed on weekday, the reason i choosen this hotel because we got unlimited access to Bali Zoo..

Just grab your wrist band from the reception on your way over (the zoo entrance is right opposite the reception and if you lose or rip off your band they replace them no worries)

Overall we really couldn’t fault our stay at Sanctoo.

I wish someone owned up to it rather than ignore it.

Lastly, before arriving there were many back and forth emails with the manager arguing that I didn't deserve the extra accommodations promised on the website because I used booking.com

but we were here 5 nights and found it all to be quite tasty and acceptable.

The restaurant had a varied menu with many Indonesian and western options - all of which that we tried were great.

Every morning we were greeted very well in the restaurant where we had our delicious breakfast, the staff very friendly to our son and always provide us with care and smiles.

The food was good, the only thing I would like to recommend was so alternative milk option for breakfast or smoothies (as we have a milk allergy)  .

The hotel restaurant serves fantastic food at a very reasonable price for a 5 star property.

but it was delicious and we can request vegetarian menu for our kids, Free foto session are great and last not the least staff are very friendly and helpful

During birthday celebration at their restaurant was also amazing.

The spa is brilliant, next to a waterfall and all the staff seemed very capable.

The spa was a very relaxing experience, my wife was pregnant during the visit and they were very courteous and adjusted treatments to make then suitable for her.

The spa is an absolute must-do, and definitely up there as one of the best spas I’ve been to.

The staff were delightful, the rooms were lovely and the spa was fantastic!!

This location, it’s staff, the spa treatments  and  villa was perfect for us!

There is also an on-site spa in the hotel that we patronised twice for massages, scub and a facial and it was extremely relaxing with the sounds of the waterfall as the treatments were administered.

Having a massage at the spa next to a waterfall was also a lovely experience.

Pretty great half open-air spa as well where you can see and hear the river gushing.

We also had a spa treatment while staying there and the spa location was breathtaking with a natural waterfall music on the background.

We just arrive from the airport and the massage by ms dewi and ms liana was very good and relaxing.

It was my first experience visit to ubud bali with my family, and we make a great decision to stay @ sancto suites and villa, everythink was perfect, begin we came until check out we get excelence service and a lot of smile from the crew, the healthy protocol is good, really safe if u travelling with kids, the room is very clean and big, so many channel television (netflix etc) the main pool and the view is very beautiful, breakfast is enough in the pandemic situation we can still get the delicious food, 
And the last

When checked out they give member card for us that give 10 % disc when book from their website.

During the pandemic the resort had been greatly upgraded and maintained and we enjoyed the super surroundings, the ambiance and the staff who, as usual was extremely supportive and helpful.

This is a one-of-a-kind Art Resort, perhaps the best art collection in Bali if not the world.

The art and history of Mads Lange and his family that is displayed throughout the room is a great starting point to dive into the history of Mads Lange himself.

Peter, the owner offers a tour of his outstanding massive antique art collection which has a history connecting everything about the resort.

I found the place bizzare with terrorism art work adoring every corner.

We did get to visit his private collection, a treasure trove of Indonesian history and art, well worth it if you get a chance.

!the decoration is unique and you have the sense that you are staying in an original balinasia house!

The rooms have terrorism related art with skulls words relating to death, terror and other things we run away from in a holiday.

Overall I would happily recommend this accommodation, particularly to people interested in the art or history of Bali and Indonesia.

Room decor was true to name of resort which was very artistic and unlike anything seen before by us.

Was here a few weeks ago and it has such a charm to it from the unique art, beautifully tended plants and tranquil pools.

During our stay, we were invited to tour the museum and art collection in the resort.

The hotel is like an ancient temple balinese style in the middle of a tropical forest.

- Room lighting I felt was a bit on the dim side
- Big spiders!

Infact there were cobwebs inside the lamp shade which i accidentaly saw.

A little advise -there is a light switch for the front courtyard lights to turn them out at night, it's tucked away on the right near the entrance gate, our first night we couldn't find the switch & thought the lights must just stay on for the hotel, so we didn't get any sleep because it was so bright.Once we found the switch the next day and turned them all off it was fine.

We did ask for an extra lamp and they gave us which improved things a bit

I then wished I had also mentioned the very dim reading light as they might have changed that too.

The whole area is overgrown with lush vegetation, intermingled with small temples, statues and ornaments, all neatly illuminated at night.

Also really disappointing that smokers are permitted to light up at the breakfast table.

If you are going shopping in UBUD, ask them to drop you off just after the one traffic light when coming into UBUD, (it looks like the old UBUD) that is where you will get some real bargins.

Great to see more hotels trying to save on plastic bottle waste.

A plastic container on the table containing wooden toothpicks was covered with mold on the inside!

This place has just the right distance to busy Ubud, it’s heaven to retreat here after a day of touring.

The jungle views was the epitome of serenity; from the pool, balcony, and our restroom.

On my arrival to Bali and the taxi ride from the airport, i was wondering what i had lead myself into as there was so much hustle and bustle going on, that this may not be the peaceful holiday i was looking for!

Art and antiques from all over the Indonesian archipelago and the imaginative construction of the villas and studios give an unbeatable feeling of experiencing the originality of this country in a very interesting and relaxed way.

There is even a tribal adorned rooftop bar and restaurant, where I have taken wonderful pictures of the sunrise with Mount Agung in the background and enjoyed meals/drinks overlooking the jungle canopy and sunset.

We stayed in the villa (Villa Bintang Suite no.1) with a private pool and a fantastic view of the Pertanu River.

Set in a gorgeous jungelly valley, lots of gorgeous views!!

This hotel looks better then ever, we stayed at the Mads Lange Villa, witch offered an amazing view.

The view overlooking the Penege river is incredible.

but that is actually a good thing, and the setting is the wonderful, you are certainly close to nature and the views are to die for.

The rooms are so big and the view to the jungle is breathtaking!

We had opted for a panaromic view room and we couldn't get any great view apart from the forest view.

The pool area was lovely and clean and the view was beautiful.

A handfull of the rooms have the view from the cliff that you see in photos.

We recently returned to Rumah Luwih Beach Resort and stayed for eleven nights.

The black sand beach is just a few steps away too!

The food was excellent, the pool was beautiful and relaxing and the ocean was invigorating to watch crash onto a black sand beach.

What we love the most is walking by the pathway to the beach under the moon light, it was so romantic and you can feel the sea breeze, im not sure if the beach is swimable or not. I will rate this hotel 9 out of 10, and for sure will recommend to my colleague and family, will be back soon :)

Ayu made us great cocktails and educated us about the area - he’s an asset for sure.

We were lucky enough to be there for new year's eve and joined their party which was better than many weddings I've been to, live music, entertainment, DJ, amazing drinks and food, fireworks and lovely atmosphere.

although I cleared my balance via cash, they now keep my credit card transaction unreleased for 14 days without notice!!

We consumed vegetarian food and they were so delicious and far from boring vegetarian food; only some of the dishes were too spicy without any chili indication on the menu sign.

The food quality needs improving, it's not 5 star and service is extremely slow.

Service was ultra slow and often did not return with our order .

It was sometimes a slow service in terms of drinks & food

but the view was blocked by a large tree!

The grounds, the pool, the outlook over the swan/duck occupied pond to the horizon of water was really gorgeous.

The pool is large and has a lovely outlook facing the lake, garden and ocean.

Bicycles, umbrellas, gees, a huge pool, hot hot showers and great views and only a short walk to the famous Keramas surf break.

The room is perfect with basic toiletries, that includes kiblat direction for Muslims, iron for the ladies, room slipper, great view & spacious room.

The hotel itself is gorgeous and close to the sea.

We loved everything about this amazing hotel: quiet location, wonderful view, great infinity pool (also with a view), 5 star customer service, helpful and friendly staff, delicious food and incredible professional management, especially Eka who went above and beyond to help us solve a misunderstanding with our travel agent and ensured we had an unforgettable experience.

The pool was my favorite part of the resort, one must try swimming while overviewing the ocean.

I felt comfort with the Hotel facility and their good service  I enjoy a sunset  view  Food and beverages is good , Really enjoy my time wiht Family in this Hotel.
