We always stay in the Pearl club rooms/suites with our 2 kids and this provides access to the Pearl Club lounge - we love sitting on the balcony for breakfast, afternoon tea and the pre-dinner cocktails.

Staff in the pear club lounge were lovely too

Mercy and her team in the Pearl Club Lounge offered a very warm welcome each day and conducted themselves in a professional manner, providing a very personal service and always having time to stop for a chat and engaging with the guests.

If you can afford a Peal Club room, its well worth the upgrade which gives entry to the Club lounge, where you can take breakfast, afternoon tea and complimentary drinks/snacks every evening from 5-8 pm.

This room gave access to the Pearl Club Lounge, which we loved!!

The club lounge made the trip extra special with the best team led by Mark, Sagar and Mercy.

Food choices were good especially in the club lounge.

Until now, we are so thankful for meeting them all – especially Ms. Sushana, a real gem from the Club lounge.

Furthermore, I would like to mention the team of the Club Lounge.

Definitely recommend the Pearl Club lounge as well 👍🏼 Felt super exclusive!

The whole team in the Pearl club lounge was so friendly and the service was just perfect.

The included club lounge was offering delicious patisserie/snacks/breakfast and evening Canapés.

but especially we have to mention Mr. Sagar Joshi club lounge agent and the rest of the club staff that gave wonderful service and solved each problem or gave answers to each question or service we needed.

We were able too check into our suite around noon so we waited in the Pearl Club Lounge until then enjoying a late breakfast and snacks.

We took out the Pearl Club Lounge offer each time and would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Food and drinks in Pearl Club lounge is really good quality.

We were also on the club lounge Pearl rooms which allows you to have breakfast in the club lounge and afternoon tea and cakes 1500-1700 and then pre dinner drinks from 1800-2000 which is a lovely touch.

A special thank you to the entire staff of the Pearl Club lounge - which can really be recommended.

We will definitely be going back for another family holiday in the near future and we cannot wait!

Lastly, this hotel is situated in a quiet and relaxing location and is especially good if you are looking for a relaxing holiday

We are still on a 11 night holiday at this luxurious hotel, the hospitality has been exceptional from arriving the reception staff and the restaurants staff could not do enough for us.

We had our family holiday here last month which included celebrating our daughters 18th birthday whilst we were there.

So friendly and made our stay so comfortable cleaning our room every day to a very high standard.

The hotel was really clean and thank you to Papu, Kumar and Parmod  from housekeeping, who looked after us and were exceptionally caring and friendly, providing us with  lovely towel art, rose petals on the bed and kind messages.

Okha and sushil from housekeeping were really good and friendly.

Housekeeping (sushii) did a fantastic job which was twice a day.

They were always smiling and helpful -  Achmed (night manager); Chandima, Perera, Saru, in the restaurant - wide range of amazing dishes (thank you kitchen staff); Angelica (bar); pool staff and Mohan and the domestic team for cleaning our rooms/communal areas to a great standard.

Our housekeepers Jane and Andreas did a great job.

The staff is what makes this hotel from every single department pool/beach staff, breakfast staff, front desk, palm Avenue and especially our housekeepers Rajat, Deepakand and Sangam.

We have had a wonderful stay in the Waldorf Astoria palm the staff cannot do enough for you the hotel is beautiful and the cleanliness is 5 star our housekeeper Rajan was outstanding and his towel art was beautiful and kept my 10 year old daughter extremely happy

Housekeeping was excellent lots of fresh towels and toiletries.

Also thanks to the cleaning team who added their artistic touches to our room and the pool team Aswin  Harshad and Joseph.

A special personal thanks to Muhammad (Front Desk) for the warm midnight welcome; Rajat (housekeeping) for the lovely 'towel art'; Sam (Mezzerie team) for her welcoming smile and personal assistance each morning at breakfast; and Borzo and Nicholas (Recreation team) for taking such good care of us during our daily stay by the poolside and for taking the time to have a chat with us from time to time.

In summary, the dining experience here is poor considering its a resort hotel, not near anything.

The food quality in the restaurants (I tried them all) was poor and should be upgraded.

-Once you are in the hotel, and attempt to reduce your stay due to the poor treatment you have received.

Response from management was poor even after email.

but I seriously would have refused to pay for a downgrade together all of the upset/anger/frustration their incompetence and poor management caused us.

And our stay was poor and the handling of  covid and the safety regulations was terrible.

There is not a 5 star feel and more a all-inclusive feel with a lot of families and poor amenities.

Service was really poor for the Waldorf brand.

But a hotel brand can be ruined by a poor check in experience, and this is what happened to my family.

Considering the quality of food they produce for adults this is poor.

One week ago, A poor choice of words left me uneasy during the check in.

Post covid should ensure the leadership team given their restriction would up  their A game .Instead, poor service quality  and lack-lustre options prevail.

The cases were  taken to the room and as I dared to bring my own case in the room the poor lad almost accosted me to stop me from moving it.

Poor location, uninspiring dining options, the most depressing late night bar I’ve come across at a hotel (no one went there) and poor room layouts.

This hotel lacks the luxury in lounges, restaurants, quality of service and generally a very poor hotel in this regards.

The restaurant manager eventually came to speak with us and apologised for the poor service re. coffees.

Overall we wish we hadn’t paid the extra for such a poor experience (taxi would have been 75 Dirhams each way).

Me and my family stayed here for five days, this hotel is amazing, it’s got everything, sandy beach, nice restaurants, great rooms

They had a blast and we could enjoy the amazing food.

Great service, got us our drinks and food quickly and helped adjust our beach umbrella multiple times as the weather changed.

but the cocktails definitely made up for it.

The rooms are amazing, the pool/beachside and all the hotels restaurants are amazing.

but what really made our stay was the staff especially chef Rahul who went out of his way to make sure we were happy with our dinner every night.

All the food was fab from breakfast, Social, Palm Avenue and Mezzarie as was room service.

but really enjoyed the food at Lao who have a set menu for those on half board.

A beer round the pool lunch tine £12 a pint, and Burger and Chips about £35.

I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel, rooms are spacious and nice, great view from a palm sea view room.good food and great hospitality from all the staff, I really felt looked after, lovely beach and not very  busy (at the time  I went)

Also very good and friendly service from Alex in the mezzerie, of which I very much appreciated and also from Quasem.

Lunch inthe restaurant next to he pool ws lovely.

Food was really nice and arrived nice and hot.

Clive Pereira who runs the restaurant and his team were fantastic as always.

I really liked that the assistant manager of the hotel seemed very hands on and approached us every time he saw us to make sure our stay was going well and to see if we needed anything.

Shankar who was the gentleman who looked after our room was truly amazing!

but was every staff member we dealt with.

Special mention to Abkishek and Okha for ensuring our room had everything we needed.

They were always very helpful and asking us if we need anything or if they could help in any way.

They were all very accommodating, offering drink replenishments.

The hospitality was definatek5 stars, all the staff are polite and courteous, no request was too much.

In fact all the staff are great in this hotel and ready to help.

These guys were amazing and did everything they could to help you have the best day.

but after I spoke to Manveer Singh the reception manager he made sure we had a unforgettable experience.

For me the adults-only pool is one of the best pool experiences in Dubai if you want a relaxed day.

It was our first family holiday with a 2.5 year old and 8 month baby in tow and I have to say, the Waldorf and it’s staff made it such a memorable experience from beginning to end.

They all went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible.

From the time you walkin(beginning of your stay) to the time you walkout(end of your stay) a wonderful experience.

We were welcomed like old friends and again as usual it’s the staff that make the experience so special.

I recommend this hotel and the experience to anyone wanting to visit Dubai Palm Jumeirah, you will not be disappointed - 10/10.

LAO - our experience in LAO was one of the high-lights

The service recieved was some of the best in the world I have experienced.

The food and drinks are delicious and we had a great experience.

This is was our first time staying at the Waldorf and I must say it was a fantastic experience.

These guys work so hard, making your experience at the beach so pleasant.

Just completed our 12th night stay here at the Waldorf and can honestly say it's been the best experience ( over 26 visits to the UAE) Everything from front of house check-in , room and soft furnishings, food ( absolutely outstanding) pool and quality of service delivery has been 1st-Class.

Looking forward to coming back and experience the Hospitality again.

Zoo Marine is a great day out for everyone, with dolphin, sea lion and bird shows as well as a pirate show for the kids.

We went to zoo marine which we booked with Melissa the thompsons rep who was lovely.

We walked down to the old town every night for dinner less than ten minutes .Check in was  very quick and the kind gentleman upgraded us to a fabulous room.We had a studio which led directly to the pool with our own terrace and sunbeds.The staff did a great job in cleaning the rooms and the entire place is spotless.

Big shout out to the cleaners, they are brilliant.

the room was very clean the maids are a credit to this hotel our room was cleaned everyday for the 2 weeks we were there.

The best restaurants were away from the old town head to the supermarket next door and walk that way there is even a better bakery and patisserie

Cleaners were great and did a good job of cleaning room every day, fresh towels were left if you left your ones from previous day on the floor outside the bathroom.

The staff at the hotel were all brilliant from the reception, breakfast staff, bar and cleaners were lovely, helpful and friendly.

The cleaners made our room up everyday and provided fresh towels, they also left treats for my sister in her room
after they noticed her birthday cards, such a lovely little touch.

Our room had a balcony to the rear overlookig the pool and the sea.

We had a studio with pool view, room 620, decent size room with kitchenette.

We have a studio with pool view,but,we can also see the sea!

We had booked a one bedroom balcony apartment with pool and sea views.

We had room 720 which was on floor -1 , room was large with a small kitchen area and a large balcony overlooking the pool.

Our room was big enough and had a balcony overlooking the pool so that was great.

We didn’t upgrade to pool view so was prepared for the rear car park view which was fine and caused us no issue or noise.

Apartment with pool view a must, ours was superb with large balcony and 2 sunbeds.

We had a lovely room with both a pool and a sea view,very powerful shower in the large bathroom.

If you can afford it get a room with a pool view.

Stayed here in july for my partners birthday, couldnt fault it, booked a studio with a pool view, room was spacious with a little kitchen,comfy beds, and a great bathroom with walk in shower, which was that powerful i had to turn it down.

The room was overlooking the pool and sea.

If you can, in my opinion, it is worth paying the extra money to get a room with a pool view.

The queue started around 8.30 when I first arrived

The hotel is well placed with lots of facilities nearby including the cake shop next door.Big problem is not being able to get sunbeds around pool unless prepared to queue at 8.30am.

We never struggled to get sunbeds during the holiday, there was a slight queue at 9am when the pool opened

Pool opens at 9 when the usual flock of people waiting for the doors to open go claim there regular sun bed put a towel on it then dissappear for hours,

Queuing starts around 8.30am and starters orders / tape goes up at 9am.

but ok once you get used to it just wish we didn’t have to join the rush to bag a sunbed queue started at 8 .15 am for when pool area opened at 9am.
