The staff were all very nice, efficient, and helped arrange airport pick up and drop off.

What really made the trip extra special and relaxing were the staff, from Gede who met us at the airport and sent us there on departure, Agus who gave us a lift to Ubud central, the reception and restaurant staff , housekeeping, they were all very helpful and genuinely friendly and made us feel welcome.

Upon exiting airport i was greeted by Gede, he was very nice and professional and was always willing to help with whatever was needed.

We just arrive from the airport and the massage by ms dewi and ms liana was very good and relaxing.

Sanctoo Suites and Villa is a one hour drive away from Ngurah Rai International Airport, and a mere 20 minutes drive from Ubud.

First we were met by Putu, our kind and very knowledgeable driver who picked us up from the airport.

Agus, the driver who picked us and sent us to the airport was friendly and generous in sharing his local knowledge.

But when i stepped in Ngurah Rai Airport, all my anxious was melted away with the warmly greeted and politeness by Mr Agus.

With a luxury car that picks us up at the airport, it provides its own comfort in our 
journey from the airport to the hotel.

Was given a complimentary transport back to the airport.

They pick us up from airport to villa, check in was fast, explain the whole villa to us clearly.

As we booked directly from their website, our package included return airport transfers which were really useful and saved us the hassle of arranging our own.

This hotel is have a perfect location on the heart of Gianyar Regency, estimated 1 hour from Ngurah rai international airport and have strategic location for retreat.

It was only about 45 minutes from the airport as well (traffic wasn't bad when we went), so that was also a plus as we were headed there upon departure.

Overall, we would definitely recommend Sanctoo suites and villas, especially if you’re planning to visit Bali Zoo. We will be back :)

Me, My Wife and our Son Liam had our most amazing family time together and discovered the most exciting adventures in Bali Zoo with some of the exotic creatures and animals over there.

We also loved the fact that we were minutes away from Bali Zoo and can actually hear the lions roaring and the monkeys howling from the Sanctoo lobby.

We love the flexibility of visit to Bali zoo which was the highlight of my daughter’s stay in Sanctoo.

By staying here we got unlimited access to bali zoo which is exactly the main reason i stay here at first,

Furthermore, we received free tickets to Bali Zoo too!

Only 3mins walking distance to Bali Zoo, which is super convenience.

Included was unlimited access to the Bali zoo, a choice of animal feeding (feeding either elephant or tiger), and discounts on restaurant.

We can go to Bali Zoo as many times as we want during our stay.

Bali zoo is one of the most pleasant zoo we have visited around the world.

Our package included breakfast and free admission to the Bali Zoo which is adjacent to the hotel and can be reached within a few steps.

We had a pleasant stay in Sanctoo.. Everything was great, the room was big, the environment was so nice and we could go to the bali zoo without any additional cost..

We also had breakfast at Bali Zoo restaurant with Orang Utan 🤩

I stayed on weekday, the reason i choosen this hotel because we got unlimited access to Bali Zoo..

We had no fridge to keep things cold  during our stay (5 nights) we were advised of this on this on check in, with staff stating that the fridge looking thing did not keep things cold and to use the fridge in the hotel kitchen (on our last night we realised that the was actually a fridge

but until 6.30PM the room key was still not delivered while my children were already cold swimming.

Breakfast is very limited, 1 hot and 1 cold drink included.

but none the less they were cold and extremely refreshing after a long flight.

And it arrived cold, no salt and pepper, no milk for tea,soggy bread, the bacon was just a couple of strips of fat and inedible,
Breakfast in the restaurant was disappointing too.

You move the controls a bit it becomes either too hot or too cold.

Having meals delivered to the room cost an extra 150,000 IDR, where as in all other places we stayed this was free, and when the meals did arrive they were cold and overall not very nice.

Whenever we ordered room service, it would arrive in 2 deliveries, always cold, for one of our dinners our food arrived and our cutlerly was not delivered until 15 mins later, for what we were paying we felt this was ridiculous.

We stayed for 2 nights with 2 kids (14 & 4 yrs old), eventhough we had extra bed for the older kid, our 4 year still got charged  Rp.

The shuttle service to Ubud Town is not ideal, only one car to town at 9am and return at 6pm so have to spend entire day in the ubud town if shuttle service is to be used and if you want to come go later or come back earlier it is 250,000 Indonesian Rupiah charge.

but they dont do it anymore but you can still have breakfast served to your villa with additional charges.

When checked out they give member card for us that give 10 % disc when book from their website.

They agreed to not charge me the third villa,

The food is terrible especially considering how much they charge you.

We were lucky enough to score a room here when they were charging promotional prices.

Bottom line; they still have a long way to go to be a proper Bali destination and be able to charge accordingly.

even though the manager confirmed, (2) charged 150k for a motorbike that actually belonged to an employee - she rode it over and gave it to us with the tank half empty.

One of the best parts is when the staff greeted us by name before we step into the lobby during midnight on the first day, and to receive a handwritten card with well-wishes from Wayan (General Manager).

Do make sure to question the prices though, they will come down very quickly when you ask 😊
The daily zoo entry meant we could do short trips and then relax by the pool or come home for naps if needed so noone got overwhelmed or overtired (we travelled with our 7 month old).

My wife and I had an incredible time here staying in a pool side villa.

I have just checked out from a wonderful four night stay in a riverside pool villa with my husband and our three year old son.

It was such a treat to have our own private pool and tropical yard to enjoy after a day of exploring in Bali.

The villa unit was beautiful and it was so good to have our private pool after being in a busy resort in Legian.

We still couldn't move on from our stateroom, it was very comfortable and clean, we never worried to let our son to play around and Liam loves the swimming pool ver much and he did his first charity in the yard 😊 we can't wait to explore more exciting momments in the next coming vacation in Sanctoo villa and suite, we'll definitely come back for more enjoyable experiences with you all ..

Water pressure was excellent and the balcony gave us good views over the surrounding greenery and pool and made the room breezy.

We booked this hotel as it was close to the zoo, the rooms were lovely and the pool was great for our 3 year old.

My son & I had a wonderful stay at the Garden Pool Villa from 28 - 31 Aug 2022.

unfortunately we didn't try the pool because we would spent our time in Bali Zoo and Bali Bird and will move to another area

Overall it was just an amazing stay and would love to stay there again.

We spent 9 nights at Sanctoo in a spacious and comfortable pool view suite.

The pool is very nice and not very frequented during the afternoons as the (mostly Asian) guests leave for daily excursions.

The restaurant had a varied menu with many Indonesian and western options - all of which that we tried were great.

Every morning we were greeted very well in the restaurant where we had our delicious breakfast, the staff very friendly to our son and always provide us with care and smiles.

The food was good, the only thing I would like to recommend was so alternative milk option for breakfast or smoothies (as we have a milk allergy)  .

We ate our breakfast & dinners there & the portions were not only more than enough

Sanctoo suites and villa offered great views and efficient staffs along with exquisite Balinese food to western dishes.

The hotel restaurant serves fantastic food at a very reasonable price for a 5 star property.

Breakfast is okay in variety and quality of the food

we had dinner at the restaurant with yummy food and friendly service.

but it was delicious and we can request vegetarian menu for our kids, Free foto session are great and last not the least staff are very friendly and helpful

During birthday celebration at their restaurant was also amazing.

The spa is brilliant, next to a waterfall and all the staff seemed very capable.

The spa was a very relaxing experience, my wife was pregnant during the visit and they were very courteous and adjusted treatments to make then suitable for her.

The spa is an absolute must-do, and definitely up there as one of the best spas I’ve been to.

The staff were delightful, the rooms were lovely and the spa was fantastic!!

This location, it’s staff, the spa treatments  and  villa was perfect for us!

There is also an on-site spa in the hotel that we patronised twice for massages, scub and a facial and it was extremely relaxing with the sounds of the waterfall as the treatments were administered.

Having a massage at the spa next to a waterfall was also a lovely experience.

Pretty great half open-air spa as well where you can see and hear the river gushing.

We also had a spa treatment while staying there and the spa location was breathtaking with a natural waterfall music on the background.

Driver, like the rest of their staff, was great.

The staff were very friendly and professional, they were able to help us with any requests or advice we wanted.

We arrived to Sanctoo Suites and they were so welcoming from start with Tia at the desk.

The staff were extremely attentive, nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were all great with our son.

The Guest service team was also went above and beyond anticipated everything that we needed.

We wanted pancakes one morning for a change and they were very kind to make them for us.

The staff were very friendly and the location was great for visiting the zoo.

All staffs are very welcoming and helpfull.

but delicious. From the time we arrived till we left, all the staff that we met were very warm, friendly & courteous - from reception (hello Komang!)

All and I mean ALL of their staff always give 110%!

The most unfortunate aspect of this hotel package was that it was listed on the Luxury Escapes website.

When we arrived at the airport we were greeted really kindly and also given complentary drinks, which when listed in the description on the website, we did think it would be some form of local fresh fruit juices, something a little exotic

1) if you don't use their website for booking, you don't get access to basically all the amenities.

Lastly, before arriving there were many back and forth emails with the manager arguing that I didn't deserve the extra accommodations promised on the website because I used booking.com

but not featured enough on their website.

Risma from from FO department is very helpful since he picked me up from the airport untill my transfer to Kuta.

I Made picked us up from our airport hotel and also took us on a tour in and around Ubud.

We requested for an airport pick up (at an additional fee) and our driver was very punctual and friendly.

This is around ~60-70 minutes away from the Denpasar Airport.

Note:
- One hour journey from the airport & Kuta Town
- 1 hour drive to Tanah Lot from Santi Mandala Villa
- Less than an hour to Volcano sites.

Santi Mandala was great, they picked us up from the airport no probs, we stayed in a luxury private villa with its own pool.

Pros: Bagoos the driver who picked me up from the airport at night and got me safely to ubud.

The location is about a 45 minute drive from the airport, and they offer a free shuttle service to Ubud which takes about 15 minutes.

GREAT STAFF, amazing spa, lovely transfers from airport.

We asked for him again & got dropped off to the airport as well.

You can have him for half a day for the cost of the 20 minute taxi ride we took from our place to Sydney airport!

This resort is close to many actractions, like Bali Zoo,

Very close to Sukuwati art market , Bali Zoo, Bali Bird park, Celuk artists village, Ubud.

but there are many things to do including interesting tours of the local area and the Bali Zoo for the kids.

He took us up to the rice terraces, Monkey Forrest & Bali Zoo.

We planned to stay here for a few days prior to travelling the rest of Bali, so we could just relax by the pool, have massages and just chill after a long two years of pandemic stress.

Very good privacy and the main pool was excellent as well.

however the villas with private pool are very luxurious still and provide all you need to relax.

They got a large pool and a nice setting along the river, so the potential is there

We did the cooking class which involved an experience at the markets and then cooking a three course meal by the pool and then eating it in the restaurant.

We had our own private pool and outside bed for relaxing.

We have used the pool every day and had lunch there today and were the only people there.

the swimming pool is large and the perfect temperature.

The swimming pool was also very clean and quit.

The pool in the villa was a touch cold on a couple of the days as it's entirely heated by the sun,

The pool facilities were fantastic and provided a relaxing experience each day.

What a wonderful suprise, a very clean and quite place to come to after a day in the traffic and crowds, the pool is amazingly clean, food is tasty, and service is friendly.

Restaurant was really good, service exceptional.

Quiet room, delicious food, lots of choice and time of day, wonderful and friendly staff.

So beautiful, the grounds the staff the food everything's 5 star.

The on-site restaurant has a decent selection of dishes and have themed buffet nights with traditional Balinese dancers and music.

Dinner at the restaurant was great, breakfast was lovely, and the main pool was fantastic and beautiful.

The staff in the restaurant and reception were lovely.

The food in the restaurant was plentiful,  delicious and moderately priced.

but if you prefer there is a menu for what you would like cooked, its up to the individual .All other meals were tasty, light lunch or dinner at night.There is a swim up bar, all you have to do to order, is use the phone available and call reception.

We dined in the restaurant on 2 evenings both times the food was delicious with wonderful service.

We left early in the end due to all the fires around the villa, the smoke was dreadful, it was so bad it was making our eyes water and the children were coughing.

My only gripe would be that the tiles around the pool at our villa are very slippery when wet which could lead to some nasty falls.

butter, it had a foul odor, so we suspect it might had been expired and raise concern to the staff.

However we found the rooms tired and slightly musty, the outdoor bathroom completely impractical as it's part of the entrance and not very nice and the restaurant below par (being far from town where there are so many excellent eateries, this was a huge disappointment).

The main pool only had three sun umbrellas so if you didn't get one of those then you had to burn.

Then the back side opens to other greener portion, there is another bed and chair / table to relax and smoke.

5. lots of mosquitoes and only 1 mosquito  machine for the whole villa which doesnt work properly so we had to buy some coils and burn them in the kitchen/bathroom/pool area.
