I was able to walk the small village nearby, use the shuttle service provided for getting to and from the airport and had a quiet and comfortable stay for the night.

I think it is a long  hike from the ZRH airport if one tried to walk

Also the location is great: near to supermarkets, to the airport and to a very nice park.

I stayed at the Hilton Zurich airport for one night, I chose it over the hotel that is attached to the airport because it had nearby running trails and I had a mid day flight.

on a positive note, it was very convenient to the airport and the breakfast buffet was good.

You should know that they have a shuttle that will take you from the airport to the hotel for free.

It has an amazing restaurant with a beatiful view to the city, it is 15 min walking distance from the shops at the airport and it has a breath taking forest just behind.

The hotel is located very close to the airport and it offers to it’s visitors a shuttle bus, making it a very convenient choice.

The staff is friendly,  quick trip to the airport.

He said the taxi driver did not charge according to the meter or the supposedly negotiated rate of CHF 17.

The only disappointment was that we had been told by hotel there was an agreed upon rate of $17 CHF for a taxi from the airport outside shuttle hours and we were overcharged by taxi driver who wasn’t understanding of the price.

but come on, just include it in the room charges then.

Took us a long time to check-in as the trainee had trouble getting three different credit cards to work.

but to make people staying with you feel terrible because they question excessive charges ?!

My advice: fire the GM, increase the room prices by 10-15% and stop charging every bits and pieces which only upset every single guest.

but just a little reminded only free of charge from the first time from Airport, other ride is 5 CHF per person.

Hidden charges that I am not used to with Hilton.

I would not batter an eye if they charged 10 - 15CHF for this

but this is the same charge for nearly every other airport hotel in the area so it's not just a Hilton thing!

Even gold members are charged for local calls, which was odd.

They actually charge you, I believe 5chf to use it..

We had done that and it forced the hotel to provide it without an additional 50 CHF charge per day.

I still dont understand at the rates this property charges why there is a charge for the return shuttle to the airport.

Both the service, management and hidden additional charges when using third party booking services like hotels.com.

A bit surprised that a 5.00 per person Swiss Fee is charged for the Hilton Shuttle to the airport.

however the corridors and rooms are very dated and tired.

The only thing is that my room is at the end of a long corridor which is a bit of walk from the lifts.

Overall the hotel needs some attention, the carpets are old, WC a bit outdated, rooms need some sound proof as you can hear every single noise from the next rooms and the corridor.

The corridor of my level (level 2) smelled a little musty, like an old hotel

Other than that, there were not too much noise from the hallway.

My only concern was the noise from the hallway and maintenance works.

The hallways need sprucing up and so does the bathtub,

Hallway noise diffuses into the room a bit too much for my liking.

They had sculptures made out of zip-ties in the hallway and dangling in the stairwell.

Rugs in hallways and rooms were dirty and stained.

We did hear a staff telephone buzzing in the corridor when we first arrived and this concerned me as we wanted to sleep,

However, the carpeting seems dated in the hallways.

**ISSUE - My only issue is walking down the hallway to/from my room during the day, early and late evening, housekeeping carts, room service trays, etc were left in the hallway!

but also had lots of noise from the highway outside and the hallway.

Three areas for improvement from my perspective: very overcrowded arrivals hall, slow check in, they charge 5 CHF for the return shuttle to the airport. Really?

but if they have events make sure you ask for a room opposite of the conference halls.

When we arrived, were told that due to high occupancy, they only had a room at the end of s long hallway.

For Diamond members, the breakfast is in the restaurant.

The breakfast is really good quality and the restaurant has a beautiful view.

My favorite here will be breakfast and their swiss/Hilton burger.

The on-site restaurant was surprisingly good, I had dinner there and the service was good as well as the food.

The hotel is very nice , good food options and helpful staff , they provide us with shuttle bus from hotel all day long and the breakfast view is amazing, rooms are spacious and they have a lounge with games the gym is a bit small

I like the breakfast and the variety soo much and the garden next to the hotel you can workout there the staff were really nice and good rooms are big and clean even i treid the dinner buffet they have alll the varieties vegetarian and non vegetarian options

I visited this hotel for a short stay and it was great.. the staff is very friendly and the service is very nice with great food and wine, surprisingly from the Italian region I’m from, I was very happy to see it on the menu.

There was a shuttle to and from the airport, excellent breakfast, great steam room and sauna.

But the best is the steam bath and the sauna.

I just want to shout out to the team at the Hilton Zurich Airport, and to Bastian Sokolowski with his hospitality.

Hotel employees kind and helpful, always attentive, ready to share information.

The staff were working their socks off trying to cope with the volume of customers and doing a really good job considering their numbers vs customers.

What made this hotel better than average was the front desk staff.

Breakfast was very nice, lot of variety and staff is helpful and very polite.

but they were good for only a beer or a glass of wine whereas the executive lounge had spirits too.

The highlight of our stay was the Executive Lounge which served a full hot buffet each night during happy hour varying from pizza/pasta choices, vegetables, to Swiss dishes like Züricher Geschnetzeltes (sliced veal strips in white wine and cream).

During happy hour the fridge has beer and wine as well.

There is an Aldi down the park, and a Mövenpick wine shop down, in front.

but yet he was going round filling up everyone's glasses with wine.

I was checked in with great ease, and made my way downstairs for a quiet dinner and a glass of wine.

Alcohol selections were good as well, beer, wine and spirits.

Stayed here overnight - great hotel - clean - close to airport - transfer took 5 minutes very 20 minutes; restaurant had lost of choice and good selection of wine.

The evening meal in the lounge was magnificent, so much choice and all regularly replaced and a great choice of wine, beer and spirits including a lovely Prosecco.

I had driven in front eastern France and that glass of wine helped me settle down.

The executive lounge food, beer and wine were great, the afternoon cakes and pastry could use some thought

during happy hour a variety of wines, beer, liquor, and cold/hot drinks.

Found the hotel room very clean ,front desk staff friendly .Being a Hilton member they offered a free glass of wine or beer and soft drink .Shuttle to airport right on time the next morning .

The lovely reception is also offering hot wine on christmas holiday seasons, totally recommend this hotel.

I have stayed in other Ibis hotels in Bali and In Australia.

I also don’t understand how to operate the air-conditioning and the QR code on the desk to get help is damaged/unreadable.

It was more effective to walk down and wait in line among check-in customers to seek assistance, as there was no central concierge service.

Try no air-conditioning in a room that faces west on another hot European day,

The final room I was given had air con of sorts

but it hardly compensated for the lack of AC.

Thanks also to Justin the Duty Manager whom quickly changed my room to another room due to aircon issue.

But :
- There was no heater in the room despite the outside temperature was 8 degrees.

nevertheless the air conditioning was not working either.

Very disappointed with both the customer service (unwelcoming, disinterested and unhelpful) and room (no air conditioning or tea/coffee making facilities.

This time I found the room a bit stuffy and there were no amenities like even coffee or tea.

Albeit it winter, the rooms can get a bit stuffy since the windows seal tightly to protect your sleep from the airlines arriving at all hours,

Noisy vent so you really can't have a relaxing bath which is a shame.

Good gym - the ONLY downside was that the heating didn't work in my room (room 1517) (someone had clearly been fiddling with the radiator thermostat) and it was a cold night.

Note we were there in June and there was no air conditioning in the room.

I found this odd as most hotels have air conditioning as standard and I've never had to pay extra.

but adequate, although the room did not have air-con meaning it was like an oven in August.

If you go during the summer book superior room, there's no a/c on the standard room and the window does not open much.

Would highly recommend if travelling around the airport, especially with a pet.

We stayed at this IBIS as it is close to the airport.

Absolutely fine for an overnight airport stay.

However, upon arriving at Schipol Airport and taking a Bolt ride to the hotel, my expectations quickly unraveled.

After a 20-minute hanging by the straps bus transfer from the airport with your and your fellow passengers' luggage sloshing around your feet, we arrived.

The shuttle bus is a great conection to the airport.

It's a 10 min drive from Amsterdam Airport and they have a large airport shuttle bus.

Check times for shuttle bus back to airport as they can be up to 40min apart in the afternoons.

The shuttle back to the airport the next morning was on time and very convenient.

the location is near the airport so good for travellers with a free shuttle bus from the airport once or twice an hour.

I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and we had morning flights.

On top of that we paid €490 for approximately 10sqm

Conclusion - I'd rather sleep at the airport then this hotel.

The hotel is located next to the Airport.

Upon arrival at Amsterdam Schiphol airport , the Hotel Ibis Shuttle bus arrived on time, and it was the same when we left the Hotel.

Easy to navigate airport,  quick security,  easy to find the hotel shuttle,  full train station access to take the metro into Amsterdam or other surrounding areas.

The only positive experience was the shuttle to/from the airport.

Check out: Just dropped my key card in a glass box and caught the shuttle back to the airport, which again took about 20 minutes.

I still do not have an answer or an invoice with the data.

Charging devices and curling hair was a challenge.

but the machine unexpectedly ejected my card without dispensing any money.

Hi still no invoice from your site - your staff even refused to answer of the mails which I send - this is the worst service I ever had!!!

but I haven't received the invoice 3 weeks after the booking date.

Backing up, I reserved the room weeks in advance noticed that the room was pay on arrival, so I contacted the hotel thrice and was assured that my credit will be charged automatically on the day of arrival (not upon arrival).

Apperently it takes five people (including the manager) to make a simple Key card so we could sleep.

I made reservation via booking.com your reception issue the invoice under the name of Booking.com.

They want to charge 10 euros an hour for early check-in.

The meals in the hotel are expensive (~20-30 euros each) and the take away doesn't accept cash (only credit card).

However hotel claimed this was a mistake and charged me an additional fee for breakfast.

In addition to that, they charged $20 a day for parking.

Got charged double and are now telling me that I will need to wait a month for a refund.

Upon arrival to the hotel I was greeted with the realization that the hotel does not take cash, which was all I had along with a pair of cards that had refused to function properly since I left home.

There was a problem with my credit card and Iara didn't know what options she  have to use it.

But check in time is started at 2:00 so I pay early check in charge.

They reserve 10 euros from your credit card without telling you.

The desk clerk said it is normal for the Hotel to charge the account to make sure it is credible.

but they only pre-authorise a small amount, so you can't charge anything to your room!

The food is fine and the gym is OK as well.

As a foreigner in an unfamiliar country with no means to pay for my family's meal, I was stuck.

All I could eat was yoghurt, some scrambled eggs, mixed fruit and a banana and an orange.

The restaurant was closed so they have us some vouchers for the self service packaged food counter in the lobby.

the hotel offers a gift shop, a bar a takeaway cafe, a burger bar (which was closed when we went) and  a buffet .

Good selection of stores and restaurants inside.

But they did take the price off for the burger, apart from that our stay was amazing.

Excellence food and I couldn’t recommend highly enough, I had burger and was a bit picky regarding the context.

There is also good food places through the hotel.

Hope there are more food options for next time as it's a very handy hotel for when you have an early flight the next day.

However, the restaurant service is below quality standards, and both the bar and the restaurant are closed.
