The room is perhaps a little dated, there is no option to charge via USB for example, and the shower cubicle could do with some sprucing up in places,

By the way there was only one bath towel in this room too, no other towels at all.

Terrible ignorant staff, went with shearrings coach tour never again, room was ok apart from that worse hotel iv ever been too .staff at breakfast were no help,milk had run out at the table when asked the proprietor she just snapped was told to check other tables, no facilities no wifi, it was christmas no entertainment, we ended eating at the next hotel down.

All in all good hotel to stay in especially if you want to enjoy typical Austrian hospitality and good food.

We were delighted that the staff were effectively giving up their Christmas break to ensure that we enjoyed such a memorable time.

Breakfast is basic, the juice is so dilute as to be little above water.

It will cost me £25 to replace my pole and I'll need to replace my bent pegs too.

but costs 2.50 Euro for a litre, the same can be bought in a local supermarket for around 1.20 Euro.

When we tried to complain, we were greeted with anger, made fun of as novice campers (I have almost 20 years' solo camping experience as an adult, I camped my whole childhood, and I'm a Guide leader, allowed to take other people's kids camping, hardly a novice.

Booked in advance via an on-line hotel booking site, Gasthof Post offers everything one expects from a quality, family-run hotel in a small European town: clean rooms, friendly service, and good food.

Again it wasn't any trouble for Elisabeth to explain the menu  and offer assistance.

Gasthof Post also provides wireless Internet access and ample parking, both without surcharge.

We all respected her gracious attitude which made us feel prestige.

Ms. Elisabeth Fimberger, the owner, is a very caring lady and it was a pleasure to find ourselves under her roof.

The owner recommended soup and wiener schnitzel, which I ordered.

An elevator has been incorporated into the old building, allowing easy hauling of suitcases to rooms on the upper floors.

Stunning views, beautiful lake, friendly staff who all speak excellent English, great food.

But besides that, our experience was perfect: super friendly and flexible Nussbaumer family with their excellent breakfast (delicious homemade sheep dairy products :) ), cleanliness and tidiness everywhere and reasonable prices.

Attersee is not among the most popular destinations in Austria and not very easily accessible by public transport.

The family is really amazing, very hospitable, truly genuine, beautiful place up on the hills with an amazing view & typical flowers on balcony.
