The room is perhaps a little dated, there is no option to charge via USB for example, and the shower cubicle could do with some sprucing up in places,

By the way there was only one bath towel in this room too, no other towels at all.

butchers shop attached to this hotel, so we had some lovely meats served at breakfast and our evening meal.

Food was fantastic gorgeous meat well cooked, breakfast had a good buffet selection.

Our room was clean, spacious and warm; the food was always delicious; and the staff provided most excellent service.

There was a huge choice for the continental breakfasts, with items being constantly replenished.

Think we were in a staff bedroom as it really was so poor, it in itself was not overly clean either, I could go on and on

Terrible ignorant staff, went with shearrings coach tour never again, room was ok apart from that worse hotel iv ever been too .staff at breakfast were no help,milk had run out at the table when asked the proprietor she just snapped was told to check other tables, no facilities no wifi, it was christmas no entertainment, we ended eating at the next hotel down.

Breakfast is basic, the juice is so dilute as to be little above water.

although we never really achieved hot water status.

The breakfast was simply the traditional Austrian style and very delicious.

Both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were really good.

Again it wasn't any trouble for Elisabeth to explain the menu  and offer assistance.

Gasthof Post also provides wireless Internet access and ample parking, both without surcharge.

An elevator has been incorporated into the old building, allowing easy hauling of suitcases to rooms on the upper floors.

Excellent location with beautiful lake views, Super friendly and flexible hosts, excellent breakfast (delicious homemade dairy products), easy car park.

But besides that, our experience was perfect: super friendly and flexible Nussbaumer family with their excellent breakfast (delicious homemade sheep dairy products :) ), cleanliness and tidiness everywhere and reasonable prices.

Attersee is not among the most popular destinations in Austria and not very easily accessible by public transport.
