 - How must this hotel operate at capacity with conventions??
 - Lobby areas had lots of open space since it is geared for conventions.
 - though (with many, overlapping conventions taking place at once - the line to Starbucks is bananas long!).
 - We visited the Marriott for an animae convention.

 - The hotel also has a very nice pool area.
 - The pool area is nice and maintained!
 - Had a fun time explaining to my autistic son who had a bathing suit on that the pool was closed.
 - The pool is a romper room 24/7.
 - We were also in town for a dance convention at the connected Hilton property and were frustrated with the closure of the sky bridge (not mentioned in the any of the covid info on the hotel website- pool and gym are open

 - I went back to the desk and asked for a manager and got The assistant manager whom assisted me very well and got me in a better room then the last
 - but was asked to go to the front desk because it was being prepared (what?
 - We called down to the service desk and asked for pillow cases and towels and they sent us another set of sheets
 - When I asked why, the answer was because they were a Marriot Marquis and needed it for accounting.
 - The guest room had mold on the vents and no extra supplies even by request.

 - The staff was very friendly and helpful and this would have been a 5 star rating.
 - Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made our concerns priority.
 - First off, every staff member has been so friendly and helpful ( from the front desk to housekeeping) I can't say enough about the wonderful staff we have encountered!
 - Our waiter in the on-site restaurant, the bellhop, and valet parking attendant were friendly and helpful Sadly, they were the only positives.
 - Staff interactions were ok and the valet and front desk people were friendly.

 - I was so excited to plan a nice trip for our anniversary (although we had our 4 year old with us) so we chose this place based on the indoor pool (I knew it would be a rainy weekend).
 - Nice indoor pool and others said the gym was very well equippped.
 - The indoor atrium is simply stunning to look at.
 - Don comped the room, as well as treated me to one of the best steaks I've ever had in their indoor restaurant from Sear($150.00 hotel credit).
 - Nice pool for families and to cool off from the summer heat (indoor/outdoor).

 - Our first problem came with parking.
 - We drove by the entrance twice and couldn’t figure out how to park.
 - Oh by the way they charge $50 a night per car to park in their valet only parking deck.
 - Than again my husband had to get the car, and this time we paid $35.00 parking.
 - At $49 per night to park you would expect more.

 - Our room also overlooked the battery area which was fun after the Braves win on a Saturday night.
 - Some rooms overlook the stadium,
 - Amazing views from our room #1105 -see attached.
 - Great view from the rooms and love how there is so much to do around the hotel.
 - My room had a view of the field and if I didn't have a ticket to the game i could have watched from my hotel room.

 - When we made a comment to the gentleman in charge of the valet he rudely said “200 people checking out, 200 checking in”, no apology for the half hour wait.
 - I’m sure it’s a temporary charge.
 - They wanted to charge $6 for a room temperature bottle of water.
 - They charge for an extra night when Had to leave for an emergency.
 - My husband was able to purchase bottled sodas in the gift shop on another floor, again not a big deal and it was convenient to charge to the room.

 - He made sure that we knew where all the amenities were (ice machine, gym, pool, and restaurants).
 - Pool was a good-size, clean.
 - The pool on that level is great.
 - The pool area also overlooks the stadium and the fitness rooms was by far the best I have seen for a hotel.
 - We also enjoyed the upper pool deck to watch the game which was great with lots of good food and snacks available.

 - In addition, the elevator was incredibly loud.
 - but you would never have known it because the elevators were very fast, the breakfast area and lobby were never crowded.
 - though some guests ignored the request) and only 4 to an elevator.
 - However, trying to work the elevators is like going to one of those escape rooms.
 - The only slight negative was that the elevators were annoying as you had to use your room key and it often wouldn't scan properly so you'd be standing in the elevator not moving.

 - Parking is expensive.
 - Expensive and not the quality I would have expected for the price or a brand like Omni.
 - but we go early, have lunch, hang out on that green area in front of the hotel with our dog (Omni allows 1 dog 25 lbs or less with a $100 cleaning fee) and just enjoy ourselves.
 - Basically, it's a $100-150 room that costs twice as much and then hits you with extra fees if you touch anything.
 - but expensive.
