To iron anything, you had to go downstairs and do it in the small bar area, which again was weird.

What is not so good is the free internet at rooms - signal is too weak, had to go to the lobby area for connection.

Located in front of La Fontana Luminosa, right at the bottom of Corso Vittorio Emmanuele II, the hotel is located right at the entry of the downtown area.

Good location, garage disposeable (10 euros per night) clean rooms.

Very nice staff, rooms are very clean and you can get in and out of town from there in 5 minutes.

Our room was clean and modern, clearly recently redecorated, and quiet, despite being on the main road.

A note should be made to wi-fi which didn't work at all.

Windows of the room was those weird roller type ones.

Unfortunately, the room was in the first floor so the window was directly towards the next roof/building (not towards the mountains :|).

Not sure what to write about this hotel as it was a bit of a mixed bag.

Stairs only with big suitcases do not take 2 floor.

My room in the annex was dark and a bit worn.

Interior decoration a bit on the dark side.

Particularly on weekends, hotel guests would be wise to book a table ahead.

The people in this hotel really know how to treat their guests.

Some eggs (that I hadn't ordered) arrived cold in front of me after having been sat on a counter for 10 minutes (not sure why I was chosen for that particular treat).

The owner is seen constantly, helping guests with their every need and even occasionally taking orders and serving in the restaurant.

We had a great stad for one night, very nice en clean room.

Spacious, clean rooms, friendly accommodative staff, run by family who treats you like family.

The hotel is clean and modern, food is very good, the staff are very helpful and the rooms are clean.

Strange towels, more like very large tea towels.

but honestly a coffee and pastry is like, EUR2 so its not going to break the bank. There is also a supermarket, Lidl approx 400m away - flat walk & open Sat & Sun.)

Breakfast is very light, so do not expect anything more than a cappuccino and a croissant or two,

The only recommendation I'd make is that you take your own towel as towels supplied were more like tea towels! There was ample car parking and you'll need it as it's a bit of walk to L'Aquila centre (and it's uphill and we struggled to get taxis!)

I honestly expected more to be open in the main street -

The only point I need to make is that the old town of L'Aquila is still very very much under construction despite the earthquake being 2009 - 7 years ago.

The room was clean and offered a good stay and has also a swimming pool.

The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and really nice bathroom and a good breakfast selection was served each morning.

Unfortunately, the hotel is pretty far from the city center or tourist attractions of any kind.

Especially one waiter, whom we met frequently at the bar (who sometimes works in the restaurant, too), did not look like he had a shower in the previous days.

Only minor negative point: I have seen better internet connections, even in Italy.

Our room was really clean with supercomfortable bed and huge terrace with an amazing view.

Rooms are clean and confortable, personnel.

Just ask, if it's karaoke night and that bothers you, perhaps they can send you to the aunt and uncle down the street.

but nothing was done , when we came to pay we did get €40 knocked off our bill , breakfast was typical Italian but walking to our room at night we noticed it was laid out uncovered for us the next morning , only water and coffee available no fruit juices.

Although as i,m a foreigner it was very difficult for me to find a hotel, because the picture on the internet showed only restaurant that serves meals in the bread and breakfast service and not the actual hotel.

We, unfortunately hit a warm night when we wanted the windows open and that night the place across the street had very loud karaoke until late into the night.

Our only negatives were that the air conditioning didn’t work on the first night (quickly rectified) and the bar on the ground level was a bit noisy on the Friday and Saturday nights.

If you had a different room the noise wouldn’t be a problem.

We stayed one night and the location was perfect, the room was clean and newly renovated.

the breakfast has been another not exciting experience.

but small enough (10 or 11 rooms) that it's still a personal experience, and the fact that it's just steps from the city landmark it's named after.

bad experience with the hot water not available on the morning ("the heather does not work and we're waiting for the plumber.

In the event - standards at the restaurant seemed to have plumetted.. we waited ages to get served.. so much so could not face ordering a pudding.

We heard the receptionist speaking to an old man, servicing the area and he apparently already closed the storage (Though it was 14:30) and had to go home.
