Breakfast is very good, typical Italian with croissants and cakes, juice and superb cappuccino.

Breakfast was available early which was great as we had an early start and great choice of foods.

Having chosen La Compagnia del Viaggiatore for its positive reviews we also discovered the restaurant attached to the Hotel and enjoyed three excellent dinners as well as most delicious breakfasts.

The included breakfast was fabulous and included eggs and local ham.

Anyways, the reason why I always come here is because of the breakfast, it's delicious and there's a variety of food, from the traditional Italian breakfast to the international one.

Food and Beverage: Restaurant provide a complimentary breakfast and is almost always full for dinner.

The overall experience was excellent - from the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms through the quality and service of the restaurant for dinner, to the outstanding breakfast.

The people in this hotel really know how to treat their guests.

Some eggs (that I hadn't ordered) arrived cold in front of me after having been sat on a counter for 10 minutes (not sure why I was chosen for that particular treat).

The owner is seen constantly, helping guests with their every need and even occasionally taking orders and serving in the restaurant.

but the restaurant is only opened for groups and breakfast in the morning) is a three-star hotel with spartan furnished rooms.

The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and really nice bathroom and a good breakfast selection was served each morning.

Here when you go downstairs for breakfast you will feel almost like part of the Canadian family.

Unfortunately, the hotel is pretty far from the city center or tourist attractions of any kind.

Especially one waiter, whom we met frequently at the bar (who sometimes works in the restaurant, too), did not look like he had a shower in the previous days.

To iron anything, you had to go downstairs and do it in the small bar area, which again was weird.

What is not so good is the free internet at rooms - signal is too weak, had to go to the lobby area for connection.

Located in front of La Fontana Luminosa, right at the bottom of Corso Vittorio Emmanuele II, the hotel is located right at the entry of the downtown area.

He sat us down at the bar which was still closed, made two beautiful cappuccinos himself and brought over to us croissants from the breakfast room reserved for the paying customers.

It is a modern hotel with nice and comfortable rooms serving good breakfast.

Unfortunately, the room was in the first floor so the window was directly towards the next roof/building (not towards the mountains :|).

I highly recommend you try the Chitarra Alla Amatriciana there it's insanely delicious.

The breakfast is also standard Italian - nice cakes and breads, yogurt, any kind of coffee you want.

Breakfast is included in the price and it is very good -- there is a selection of pastries, yogurt, and fruit.

My personal recommendations would be the ravioli agli olaci (like spinach), the stracotto (a kind of stew),  and an unusual dessert consisting of ricotta, saffron and pistacchios.

but small enough (10 or 11 rooms) that it's still a personal experience, and the fact that it's just steps from the city landmark it's named after.

In the event - standards at the restaurant seemed to have plumetted.. we waited ages to get served.. so much so could not face ordering a pudding.

Restaurant in the house is based on traditional italian cousine, where everything is made from quality ingredients with care of whole family Massari.

Dinner and breakfast were simply magnificent with a huge range of traditional home cooked food including delicious cakes and tarts.

The food was delicious and in reasonable price.The staff is very welcoming outgoing and friendly (Manuelle was always willing to give information to help or even drive us somewhere in his free time).

The breakfast is typically Italian, that is coffee and something sweet.

Just ask, if it's karaoke night and that bothers you, perhaps they can send you to the aunt and uncle down the street.

but nothing was done , when we came to pay we did get €40 knocked off our bill , breakfast was typical Italian but walking to our room at night we noticed it was laid out uncovered for us the next morning , only water and coffee available no fruit juices.

Although as i,m a foreigner it was very difficult for me to find a hotel, because the picture on the internet showed only restaurant that serves meals in the bread and breakfast service and not the actual hotel.

We, unfortunately hit a warm night when we wanted the windows open and that night the place across the street had very loud karaoke until late into the night.

I stayed in room 22 on 23 and 24 Sept 2016, single traveller for EUR45/night room only - Booking.com (discount of 20% available at the train station cafe for breakfast -

While we stayed it was a holiday and the breakfast place in our building was shut.

Breakfasts served were typically Italian - croissants, cakes, coffee and juices.

Strange towels, more like very large tea towels.

but honestly a coffee and pastry is like, EUR2 so its not going to break the bank. There is also a supermarket, Lidl approx 400m away - flat walk & open Sat & Sun.)

Breakfast is very light, so do not expect anything more than a cappuccino and a croissant or two,

The only recommendation I'd make is that you take your own towel as towels supplied were more like tea towels! There was ample car parking and you'll need it as it's a bit of walk to L'Aquila centre (and it's uphill and we struggled to get taxis!)

I honestly expected more to be open in the main street -

The only point I need to make is that the old town of L'Aquila is still very very much under construction despite the earthquake being 2009 - 7 years ago.
