The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole holiday.

What a wonderful hotel, friendly staff, great food ( I am a fussy non meat eater), and great views.

Everyone from the front desk right through to the maintenence men are friendly and cannot do enough to help you out.

The snacks were really tasty & I can't praise the friendly staff enough.

All of the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and accommodating - we particularly want to mention Marianne at reception,  Christos at the beach bar and the cleaner of our room (she did a brilliant job every day- with fresh towels including beach towels).

The food lacked taste and the number of guests made the dining experience very poor, rushed with staff taking one person plate whilst the other person was still eating.

but in the afternoon if you just wanted drinks in the bar area was very poor.

I did manage with my mobility being poor and believe me it’s worth it to be in this paradise.

Lassi itself was incredibly quiet and due to the roads we only went out during the day as poor footpaths and no street lights didn't make us feel safe to walk along the road.

The main buffet restaurant was very busy and noisy and the service, in particular the clearing away of plates was very poor.

but the food & beverage experience was remarkably poor in need leadership from a professional.

We thought food was poor, trays nor re filled fast enough and  not enough choice compared to other hotels.

The food at both breakfast and dinner is poor.

It is a large resort on hillside with very poor signs for rooms.

but nothing we have witnessed or heard of during our total of 20 weeks’ residence can justify the hurtful assessments of the “poor” and terrible” reviews, which frankly seem prompted by a sadly increasing obsession with upgrades and refunds as a right and personal victory rather than an appropriate response to a genuine grievance. Every guest in every hotel is likely to have some personal reservations but these are minor compared with the basic facts: White Rocks has splendid accommodation in an exceptional setting, the staff (all of them!)

Before booking we looked at a few reviews which talked of poor service and staff.

but coffee very poor and was charged for coffee from machine which tasted as bad as the one served.

The service was truly abysmal, we have never encountered such poor service either in the UK or overseas.

The service in the lower bar we found very poor, I waited twenty minutes to be served and had to go to first floor bar to be served.

Staff in all areas very helpful and attentive, especially front desk.

The room was lovely and modern, the staff were great and very helpful, the food was good (we were half board) and plentiful.

Staff were great and would help you out any way they can.

Spoke to Jet 2 rep and she didn’t give a monkey.

We also booked QueenB boats for the day which was the best boat I’ve ever been on with an amazing atmosphere throughout the whole day, created by the Captain!

but is low staff and cut corners in order to save money, which is at the guests expense.

We were on bed and breakfast,  the restaurant was very clean and bright with the option to eat breakfast on the patio with a nice view,  there was plenty of choice for breakfast,  well cooked and replenished regularly,  the staff were all very friendly.

but the general sound proofing of the rooms is poor quality!

Now the downside;
The food was poor - school dinners at best.

The food really was poor no traditional greek meals all just very bland and standard so we ate out locally for the rest of the week which was much better.

The only time we ate an evening meal was on the first day, the food, clearly been under heat lamps for a long time was of a poor standard, with some of the items being served at breakfast the next day.

Desserts are poor with the same offering every night.

though the quality was still as poor and bland.

The card machine in the beach side restaurant is a dinosaur and I think the poor woman cashier's patience was tried every time she had to operate it.

The only major criticism of the hotel bedrooms as others have stated are the poor curtains and some early morning noise.

The not so good things:  the air conditioning was quite poor  ,  .

When we spoke to reception we were informed it was the phone lines and the bush fires which we found a poor excuse.

but the poor wifi makes it almost impossible to do anything but check the odd email.

Breakfasts are excellent with a huge range from hot to cold and rotation every day. The pool area is a delight and we spent many hours in it and around it lazing away the hours (with a little bit of people watching) - the inflatables policeman made us smile every day when he politely asked folk to take their blow up monsters out of the main pool (the bays are so tranquil that inflatables in the sea pose little or no danger) and the poor chaps 'selected' to be the towel police (no reserving at 6am and clearing off for the morning here!)

but I suppose these days as it is an older hotel then soundproofing is poor and carpets have been put in to help reduce floor noise.

Bathroom was cramped with basic over bath shower and room carpet was in a poor state.

This problem could definitely do with some input and policing from hotel staff.

Great hotel and staff lovely to have the beach so close by .

Breakfast great, loved eating outside each morning, staff very good.

All the staff from the room maids, bar staff and reception were all great.

Yes the bar may be a little expensive with a wine and pint costing €16, the advantage was it was moderately busy rather than noisy etc

My partner and I had an outstanding stay and we met some lovely people on our holiday - guests here are super friendly and share recommendations for car hire, places to eat and beaches to visit.

The care and attention of all the staff is second to none.

Christina & the team made our stay at the Avithos a most pleasurable & relaxed experience.

The receptionist in the evening Sophia was lovely and bubbly and sorted out our shuttles requirements in the evening.

We did mention this to reception who outlined that they had trust and faith in their cleaning staff, which is fair.

Staff were most helpful rooms were clean, spotless and done daily, peaceful and tranquil.

They speak many languages and are very helpful with answering all your questions.

but if you are just there for a week, then there are plenty of tavernas and beaches close by to keep you satisfied
Every member of staff is really helpful and willing to assist with anything you need - but extra shoutout to Christina on reception and Artaluka and Jonida who look after all your needs at breakfast along with Ervisa, who also looks after the pool bar.

but a collection of suites/apartments near to a central reception, pool and bar area.

So peaceful, some lovely updates, terrific breakfast 🍳, the accommodations and gardens are truly delightful, and all the staff are so kind and helpful. The only thing I’d say is the pool bar prices are over high,

I asked the 2 girls that were clearing up if we could help in any way and asked who this man was that was making us feel so uncomfortable, where they informed me it was the owner of the hotel.

There was no sun protection on the main terrace so we couldn't use it during the day and the wooden chairs were particularly uncomfortable.

My only gripe was the very hard, uncomfortable bed and very odd pillows

The downstairs beds are extremely uncomfortable.

The furniture looked like it was from an 80's Blackpool B&B, with the most uncomfortable mattresses I've ever slept on, and that's saying something given the years I stayed in hotels.

Next day again we had killer looks from her when we told her that my nephew had unfortunately wet the bed, so we avoided her for the rest of the week, feeling very uncomfortable in her presence.

Our only other gripe would be the very uncomfortable beds.

This hotel has superb amenities, the staff are friendly, helpful and courteous and the breakfasts are most enjoyable, with a wide variety of food choices.

Nothing was too much for the staff: They were attentive, friendly and so welcoming.

The greatest asset of this hotel though, is its staff who are without exception friendly, polite and very helpful, especially the ladies on reception who helped us in securing car hire, a later check out and some phone charging to help with our very late flight home.

The staff were a delight, so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble,  they made our stay even more special.

Pros: excellent location (10 minutes walk to Lassi), close to some lovely beaches (check out Costa Costa), beautiful breakfasts, lots of sun loungers, gorgeous pool area with two big pools, friendly and attentive staff.

Compared with the breakfast available in the hotel, what we were served with was disgusting and had to be thrown away.

There were 2 very old, stained & smelly armchairs which were removed & not replaced on our request.

The room we were allocated was not a Junior Suite all it had going for it was the Sea View - it was dated, to say the least and had dirty scuffed walls, handles falling off wardrobes, scruffy old furniture and the bathroom was old and dated with a constantly dripping shower and water coming through drain on the floor; the balcony and the furniture were no better the divide to the next apartment was broken and just left broken.

There was an awful smell in the room which was worse when in bed as it permeated up from the floor between the two wooden single beds that had been pushed together.

We heard of issues with sewage for other guests.

I didn't like people smoking there, the majority didn't,

.we had a note put under the door at 3am on departure morning ( I was awake as too hot ) saying they would move us at 11 o'clock to another room at a fee of 150 euros , disgusting.

The smell was the mould and mildew omnipresent throughout the room.

Superior room has an AC that runs louder then an old truck and has a bad smell (not cleaned, clogged filters).

The pool is a tranquil escape where you can take a dip and soak up the sun with the smell of olive trees and lavender in the air.

It was musty/ damp and dirty with basic shoddy furniture which was chipped and scuffed, along with well worn/paint peeling doors/surfaces.

The bathroom had a broken drain cover that was sharp, the doors didn’t fit together leaving water to pour out on the tiled floor meaning it was very, very slippery.

Immediately on entering there was a smell of damp and the linen actually felt damp.

The shower was grubby with Mold (see pics).

although had a sea view  it smelt and felt very damp.There were also numerous cracked and broken tiles in the bathroom.For what we paid which was nearly £2000 for 7 days I would not expect this.

Minus: Room was damp and smelled mouldy, despite being the middle of summer.

The hotel, & staff where all amazing, it was just beautiful, it was so quiet, and just a perfect get away, nothing to complain about.

One example of how attentive they are was that we ran out of creamer for coffee and asked at reception if we could have a couple more.

Came back from here on the 30th September 2023, incredible place , fantastic swim up room, amenities were fantastic food incredible, staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you, I would recommend 100% will be returning 😀

The breakfast area, main bar and reception area are similarly welcoming.

We received a wonderfully warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble by any of the staff throughout our stay.

Best of all the staff were fantastically helpful and just really nice.

We then had staff cars leaving late at night, and returning around 6am the following morning.

The breakfasts are plentiful and it was always a pleasure to be met by the staff for a conversation about the day ahead.

The staff are extremely polite and helpful and they really go out of there way to ensure you have a wonderful relaxing holiday.

The shower room was a similar size to what one would find in a caravan.

I had scaffolding outside of my balcony, the sink had a tap that stuck out enough so that you hit your head on it when washing your face, the hairdryer was smashed so that you could see the impeller, which was too close the sink, for safety reasons.

The bathroom is so small that you can hardly wash your teeth.
