* Rooms are a little tired with very poor sound proofing.

but the general sound proofing of the rooms is poor quality!

Now the downside;
The food was poor - school dinners at best.

The food really was poor no traditional greek meals all just very bland and standard so we ate out locally for the rest of the week which was much better.

(I’m sorry)

The only time we ate an evening meal was on the first day, the food, clearly been under heat lamps for a long time was of a poor standard, with some of the items being served at breakfast the next day.

Desserts are poor with the same offering every night.

though the quality was still as poor and bland.

The card machine in the beach side restaurant is a dinosaur and I think the poor woman cashier's patience was tried every time she had to operate it.

The only major criticism of the hotel bedrooms as others have stated are the poor curtains and some early morning noise.

The not so good things:  the air conditioning was quite poor  ,  .

When we spoke to reception we were informed it was the phone lines and the bush fires which we found a poor excuse.

but the poor wifi makes it almost impossible to do anything but check the odd email.

Breakfasts are excellent with a huge range from hot to cold and rotation every day. The pool area is a delight and we spent many hours in it and around it lazing away the hours (with a little bit of people watching) - the inflatables policeman made us smile every day when he politely asked folk to take their blow up monsters out of the main pool (the bays are so tranquil that inflatables in the sea pose little or no danger) and the poor chaps 'selected' to be the towel police (no reserving at 6am and clearing off for the morning here!)

but I suppose these days as it is an older hotel then soundproofing is poor and carpets have been put in to help reduce floor noise.

Bathroom was cramped with basic over bath shower and room carpet was in a poor state.

The hotel, communal areas and rooms are spotlessly clean as always and the service across all areas Excellent.

The room was spotless and the view was incredible.

A very enjoyable and memorable stay.The room was very clean with an excellent view of the bay and a sunset that casts a red glow over the sea.The food very good with a wide choice of dishes with ingredients, I was told, locally sourced if possible.It  was a great opportunity to sample Greek cuisine which was usually delicious.

Rooms are very clean with cleaning staff really helpful, particularly with things like fresh beach towels.

The food lacked taste and the number of guests made the dining experience very poor, rushed with staff taking one person plate whilst the other person was still eating.

but in the afternoon if you just wanted drinks in the bar area was very poor.

I did manage with my mobility being poor and believe me it’s worth it to be in this paradise.

After reading some poor reviews we were nervous about our holiday

Lassi itself was incredibly quiet and due to the roads we only went out during the day as poor footpaths and no street lights didn't make us feel safe to walk along the road.

The main buffet restaurant was very busy and noisy and the service, in particular the clearing away of plates was very poor.

but the food & beverage experience was remarkably poor in need leadership from a professional.

We thought food was poor, trays nor re filled fast enough and  not enough choice compared to other hotels.

The food at both breakfast and dinner is poor.

It is a large resort on hillside with very poor signs for rooms.

but nothing we have witnessed or heard of during our total of 20 weeks’ residence can justify the hurtful assessments of the “poor” and terrible” reviews, which frankly seem prompted by a sadly increasing obsession with upgrades and refunds as a right and personal victory rather than an appropriate response to a genuine grievance. Every guest in every hotel is likely to have some personal reservations but these are minor compared with the basic facts: White Rocks has splendid accommodation in an exceptional setting, the staff (all of them!)

Before booking we looked at a few reviews which talked of poor service and staff.

but coffee very poor and was charged for coffee from machine which tasted as bad as the one served.

The service was truly abysmal, we have never encountered such poor service either in the UK or overseas.

The service in the lower bar we found very poor, I waited twenty minutes to be served and had to go to first floor bar to be served.

The rooms were clean containing a large bed with bedside tables either side, somewhere to place the suitcase.

We stayed in one of the family bungalows and are rooms were spotless, the housekeeping was excellent.

Bed linen and towels were changed daily, and our room was spotless.

The hotel staff and all friendly and helpful, the rooms spotlessly clean and if you book a sea view room you will not be disappointed. Wow!

but the bungalow was beautiful spotlessly clean with a great view from the terrace with sun beds our maid Irena was fantastic she kept our room spotless with fresh towels and bedding every day what an angel.

That's being said rooms are spotless, cleaned daily and are nice and modern.

My room was immaculate everyday and whether I left money on the side or jewellery by my bed it was always there when I returned from the beach.

Staff were most helpful rooms were clean, spotless and done daily, peaceful and tranquil.

The rooms are cleaned every day and we’re spotless.

Friendly and kindly hosts, good acommodation with very clean rooms, very nice and big pool with a nice pool bar.

The room was clean, tidy and well equipt.

The Housekeeping department did an incredible job every day to ensure that the rooms were always clean and well presented.

We stayed here for a week, resort is ok , rooms are dated bathroom very small.

I asked the 2 girls that were clearing up if we could help in any way and asked who this man was that was making us feel so uncomfortable, where they informed me it was the owner of the hotel.

There was no sun protection on the main terrace so we couldn't use it during the day and the wooden chairs were particularly uncomfortable.

My only gripe was the very hard, uncomfortable bed and very odd pillows

The downstairs beds are extremely uncomfortable.

The furniture looked like it was from an 80's Blackpool B&B, with the most uncomfortable mattresses I've ever slept on, and that's saying something given the years I stayed in hotels.

Next day again we had killer looks from her when we told her that my nephew had unfortunately wet the bed, so we avoided her for the rest of the week, feeling very uncomfortable in her presence.

Our only other gripe would be the very uncomfortable beds.

When we arrived we were given room 17 which was a very modern , clean room

The hotel, pool, restaurant, pool bar, rooms are all so clean and tidy.

Room was very clean and fresh plus the cleaner was in every day to freshen up, we loved our large balcony with fab sea views and also we enjoyed watching the planes landing and taking off, also great sunsets.

The room was very clean and we were very satisfied.

The room was really clean and well maintained and it had air conditioning and a safe included at no extra cost.

Rooms are very clean and bed are so comfortable.

The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained with lovely vistas, the rooms are great and spotlessly clean, the pool is fantastic (best loungers) and the food was varied and tasty and I had lots of choice as a vegetarian.

They cleaned the room every single day and changed the towels every other day, it was nice to come back to a clean room after a day out.

We stayed in the upper part of the hotel in a premium room (143) which was superb and we would like to give special praise to the room maid who worked really hard to keep the room spotless.

Shower was not so good  as it was difficult to position without it falling off.

The only negatives we had were, our room was next to breakfast and unless your up at 7am, we were woken up with chairs scrapping along the floor, our bathroom did have a sewage smell at times and flooded after a shower (wasn’t too much of an issue, we just shut the door and to be fair the maid always cleaned it well).

Maybe due to the furniture not being modern and a shower curtain instead of a door/screen

But the shower design was poor, so the floor got very wet, the dark headboard was a bit oppressive, and there were very few sockets (we brought an extension lead, which got full use).

The room was quite small and the tiniest of bathrooms, asked to move room

The bathroom was rather on the small side and the floor got rather wet whilst showering.

As others have mentioned, the shower isn't great and if either of us showered the bathroom would be full of water for a few hours.

The shower head in my room kept falling down, so had to be held!

The bathroom could certainly do with an upgrade the sealant is black and the shower was awkward as the taps were in the middle and the shower head at the end.

This was solved by taking the shower off its wall fitting and using as a hand-held shower.

We were moved to this hotel as our original booked hotelectricity was overbooked .This hotel is lovely and friendly and spotlessly clean ,it's a little dated with the tiniest and most annoying shower curtain that sticks to you.

Arrived in September when resort was quieter, facilities were basic..no bath, shower with curtain (which caused bathroom floor to be wet everytime we showered), plenty of hot water, beds comfy

but the ladies poolside toilets had no locks or toilet seats.

For the price we paid it was more than adequate, the room was very clean and had everything we needed.

I find the hotel clean staff friendly rooms are clean and have plenty storage space, we were told  the water would be on in an hour that was 1/12 hours ago.

As a beach person with taverna's on beach I found I was quite happy to sit around the pool (the first time in 28 holidays in Greek Islands) only think that let's this hotel down is the small showers in bedrooms and they don't serve TAZISKI in the pool diner.

Hotel is in good location,rooms are clean, bathroom is a joke.to small and a little dangerous with wet floor after showering, because only have a curtain that does't stay in shower tray.There is a local dog that barks early morning and late at night.

Shower was very small with plastic curtain which stuck to you when showering and no change of towels during whole week.

The bathroom was also tiny and there wasn't anywhere to leave cosmetics, not even a shelf, the only space was on the side of the sink.

but who cares it had what it needed a toilet, sink and a powerful shower with no loss of warm water in the fortnight, it also had a deep tray with a wall to wall curtain so no wet floor at all.

Shower is crap don't bother with curtain as it just sticks to you and floods the room anyway.

You may have a bit of a fight with the shower curtain

The shower was a shower tray with a slightly raised lip and a curtain around.

however really sets the room off, it has no discernible view whatsoever and the toilet window of the neighboring room opens above the seating area on the balcony for 218, all of this I am told is perfectly acceptable by the well known tour operator that I had booked with.

The rooms were not particularly clean the linen/towels were not changed regularly, remaining constantly damp due to the bathroom being constantly damp as the shower spilled over onto the floor with only a flimsy shower curtain.

negatives very dated still have a shower curtain that stuck to you when you showered..abd had to pay for air con really!!!

The bathroom is tinier with no room for toiletries.

The rooms are small and the bathroom very small.

The shower room was a similar size to what one would find in a caravan.

I had scaffolding outside of my balcony, the sink had a tap that stuck out enough so that you hit your head on it when washing your face, the hairdryer was smashed so that you could see the impeller, which was too close the sink, for safety reasons.

The bathroom is so small that you can hardly wash your teeth.

but definitely not 4 stars, very basic in terms of amenities, no mini bar, no kettle or coffee machine, no complementary water after the first day.

We used about a quarter tank 25 Euros of gas over 2 days with about 90 minutes of drive time per day.

The only thing this hotel could improve is having a room available for guests to freshen up and shower before travelling home.

but quite small and the bathroom was also very small.

The only drawback was the shower did not have soap dish or other holders for shampoo etc…We had to place all on the shower floor.
