but the disappointing part of the stay was when we went back to the hotel after a tiring day only to find out our key card was not working.

The sound was as if we woke up in the middle of a construction site 😂 and the only way we could turn it off was to shut down all the electricity in the room completely by removing the card from the device at the entrance.

but they didn't do anything special for it like a bottle of prosecco or bday card.

We requested a late check out for 3pm with no problems just small charge of €25.

You use your room card to call the lift and the entrance door was locked when we came at around midnight, opened by your room key or doorbell.

Tip buy an I Amsterdam card before you go.

I liked the fact that you had to scan your room card to get to this section.

Hotels are expensive in Amsterdam , as is the case for any West European capital , so the Inntel's charges reflect its excellent central location .

We arrived at the hotel at 10.30am to drop our bags off and they allowed us the check in early for no additional charge.

If you pay this by card you get it back in cash BUT what they neglect to tell you is your breakfast is taken out of this €50 and at a staggering €16 per person that soon adds up.

The staff was not friendly at all , the room was tiny, the check in process was not the best,  and I was charged 2 different charges I should have never been charged.

She was charged for someting from the bar at the room,

only 1 elevator was working, and we had to unplug a lamp and the coffee pot to plug in our phones to charge.

When I arrived none of my cards worked for their 50 euro deposit and they weren’t going to let me check in

I really like the security aspect as you can only use the lift from the lobby if you have your room card so that only guests could enter and get access to bedrooms, this is not something I’ve seem before

I stayed there 2 nights during a business trip, the great asset of this hotel is its location - 5 mins was for the Eurostar station and in the middle of Amsterdam historic center.

The male receptionist that evening was trying to compute the amount we supposedly  owe despite having a record that the bill was paid in full upon checking in.

I had to change my dates back in Dec due to lockdown in Amsterdam over NYE and the hotel staff let me and my friend who I was travelling with to change the date without any fuss or additional costs.

but a little over-priced in my opinion, especially when you factor in the tourist tax (the highest tax I have EVER paid in any European city - and I have travelled all over Europe! ).

A room cost 810 euros with taxes and breakfast for 2 people-4 nights.

Breakfast was a bit expensive for what you get (wasn’t included for my room price).

The ones we ate in were excellent- both in terms of the quality of food and cost.

In Fact we were very happy with everything here, speedy receptionists and very helpful concierge, only downside was the price and city tax, bit more than we are used to paying so probably choose a different city for our next break away.

There wasn’t any air-conditioning and it was a shame that the tiny window only opened a crack, so with no fan provided it could get a little hot.

My only negative was the temperature of the room, it had no air con only a fan, and the room got hot, i wouldn't want to visit in the summer.

The cost effective hotel is situated a little father out of Amsterdam,

Was really worried about the temperature as I read there's no air con, so was incredibly relieved to find there is a box fan already in the cupboard in each room.

Although the room didn't have any air conditioning, the windows were accessible and wide enough to open to keep it well ventilated.

but the worst hotel no A/C even u pay much money .

but the most surprising point was when we arrived the maids have been turned on the AC for us welcomed us by a cold bear which caused us to get rid of tiredness.

Room ventilation: Air conditioning could not be controlled so staff covered it with a tape

This place is awful, no AC in the rooms,and reception staff are useless.

Almost half of the walls of the room were in fact made of glass and due to the hot weather the room was very warm and there was no A/C.

Just stayed at Hotel Casa during the recent heatwave and after reading reviews, we were dreading the heat in the room without air conditioning!

I felt I was constantly at risk of falling out of bed because the thin mattress topper slipped around easily (we had the unit split into smaller twins.

I wanted to share with you my experiences in the hotel Unfortunately I really did not enjoy the room There is no air conditioning and the windows are locked and there is no air in the room The furniture is very old The mattress falls off the bed and it is not convenient to charge us for parking in the hotel parking

No air conditioning in rooms so roasting all the time .

The only complaint I have is there is no air conditioning and the windows to our room did not open either.

You have to leave a sign on the door before midday if you want housekeeping to visit.

Shower doors - put towels down or water goes all over the floor.

However, the shower doors did not close properly which led to a river on the bathroom floor (hence 4/5 rating).

but front office doesn't know that you are still there and you are OK and the care about you more than your mother so they decide to disturb you anyway by phone if they can't go through door over DND.

We received the room number and for our surprise, the room was already busy by a couple and it was embarrassed to open the door and look two people in your supposed room.

After the second day we found a letter from the reception under our door saying that they have contacted our booker and that the extras were not included so we had to settle our bill as soon as possible!!

but has a door which stops no water so floods the place all the time.

We still received a knock on the door from housekeeping.

Drunk boys shouting at the corridor in the middle of the night, banging doors.

The main reason it was my first room was that the doors in the shower did not seal so I ended up with about 1cm of water on the whole floor of the bathroom floor.

The only downside of our stay was that the shower in our room had a door that did not shut properly and the shower also did not drain very well.

- The room door electronic locker was not able to lock after you get out from the room :)))  
- The main entrance and reception location is currently being changed due construction works.

So I received a letter under the door to see the receptionist.

I was asked to move to another room that was occupied when I opened the door.

The bathroom have strange doors and the water leaks out when you have shower.

however the showers are a little odd and have a gap between the shower doors meaning water easily gets out onto the floor!

My only problem was that the doors of the rooms are not soundproof.

The only thing that is bothering is a bit of noise from the corridor - the door is not sound proof.

The restaurant had lovely food, we ate there a few times, they did send out cold sausages and incorrect orders a couple of times

The lobby area is spacious, with snacks and drinks available to purchase, a coffee shop and bar / restaurant at the rear.

Really liked the self serve food and refreshment purchase setup.

La Casa was a brilliant choice as the location, decor, staff, rooms, bars and restaurant were all top notch.

The front desk staff were great and took a lot of time to go through a map of the city with us as qell as their recommendations of what to see and eat while we were there.

It's lounge/lobby area is very comfy with bar, cafe and small gift shop.

Loved the hotel, the staff, the restaurant.

The lobby has a nice bar and restaurant area.

Bar and restaurant were staffed by friendly people, limited snack type menu, Burgers etc.

but every day is the same menu, at the 3rd day you do not want to eat the same, yet it is quite good.

Room service came everyday (unless asked otherwise)

The hotel has a bright entrance foyer with great facilities including cafe, small self-service shop (handy when returning to the hotel late at night), water bottle filling station, plenty of seating.

The lobby area was GORGEOUS, we had a mini photo shoot there, and there are lots of places to eat and work (theres a cafe and rooftop beer garden). 5.

Nice river outside located outside the hotel and nice café to grab a drink to start your day located just inside the hotel.

Would definitely stay here again, the rooftop bar and restaurant are a great bonus as well!

There is also a roof top bar for food and drink with a view - open late!

The hotel had a big cafe & loads of seating areas.

Extensive range of craft beers at around 20% cheaper than London.

I offer him to use roof top bar and dinner instead of wire Transfer to my account and he agreed.

Room 250, very large comfortable bed, clean room with a fridge, coffee machine and  a kettle.

The room was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities you’d expect from a good hotel.

Rooms are clean, the decor is modern, the bed super comfortable.

I stayed 5 days, called TWICE to get the room clean and nothing happened.

The rooms were really clean, obviously recently renovated and with great interior design.

The room was spotless, with a queen bed & single, fans, heaters, coffee machime.

The room's cleanliness and attention to detail were also nice, and I will recommend this hotel!

Think Premier Inn in the UK - a very standard clean room and you know what to expect.

Just slightly out of the city centre so not quite so ‘touristy’ Casa has a relaxed vibe with great staff ,excellent value for money, plus a fantastic rooftop bar & only a 1/2hr walk to the city centre.

Great rooms with modern decoration, great breakfast and the most important,  the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, solved any petition very quickly 😀

It’s in a good location, being in a quieter part of town yet only a few minutes walk from a main Metro station.

The hotel itself is an under five minute walk to Amstel station with very regular metros to the city centre.

tram was necessary, Tram, Train and Bus stops less than 5min walk to Amstell station.

About five minutes walk to Amstel Station for metro, train, and Tram 12 take you to Centraal Station.

but it's a few minutes to the metro and tram station.

Advice would be travel to Amstel Station from Central Station then it's only a 3 min walk to the hotel.

5 minute's to Amstel station, 3 stops to city centre.

Although the hotel isn't directly in the city centre, the transport links are fantastic and the metro will take you to central station in no more than 10 minutes.

We wanted to save money on food, and thankfully the nearby Amstel station had a supermarket inside, so we had cheap sandwiches /salads/baked goods all the time.

LIDL is a short walk around the corner and the train & tram station 'Amsterdam, Amstelstation' isn't far either.

This is a 5 minute walk fron Amstel train & underground stations whuchnus just 5 stops from Amsterdam Central.

The location isn't bad as there is station to Central station.

The location is near the Amstel station, there are lots of public transport options available, for us it was great.

but close to two metro and tram stations, or a leisurely 45 minute walk into the city if time allows.
