This time a tap in the bathroom that sprayed you with water when washing your hands and a water heater that didn't work to mention two things.

•	The air conditioner kept blowing dust.

The aircon was very cold, might even be too cold at night during summer day.

The room however was freezing (even with their central heating), the lighting was almost non existent and they didn’t have a restaurant in the hotel (which I guess didn’t matter because all restaurants ended up having to close anyway due to coronavirus,

Aircon could not be stopped, window can’t be opened.

The bathroom light is controlled by a sensor, no good, a reasonably quick shower and the light would go out, usually twice.

especially when you get back after having been out for twelve hours and there has been no ventilation as everything was powered off to save energy.

Use the air con and close windows if it's noisy outside.

Rooms were freezing cold , Telly was slow.

The room often got warm and the air conditioning was probably not the strongest.

but with carpets on the floor, and a wall mounted A/C, which makes the air "heavy".

We did have to move rooms due to building works starting at 7am and a constant smell of weed coming from the vent in the bathroom,

but two lifts - one to the second floor and another one to the fourth floor and our air conditioning was broke in room 4128.

One thing we requested was a fan as the air con is a bit pants, other than that was lovely!

The wall mounted airconditioning / heating was ancient and hard to control .

but was way too hot and stuffy at night even with the heater turned off.

though the location of the hotel was convenient it definitely not worth the price we paid - hotel room and bathroom was dated - heaters made a loud ticking sound.

In terms of the room it was very old, decor very dated, heating made a creaking sound, and the tv didnt play videos from a usb device as it was ancient.

In the morning i smelled weed in the hallway, which is really not oke when you are with your child.

You can hear people in corridor , in another rooms and etc.

In the hallways alcohol bottles are on the floor and none of the employees collect.

My room was situated on the 4th floor in the second building which meant me having to take the lift to the second floor, walking the corridor and changing to a second lift, all a bit of a palaver really.

We found it a bit strange to begin with to get lift from reception to 2nd floor then walk along corridor to lift for higher floors

They have vending machines on the corridors and the carpet has seen better days and there was a awful smell.

The one downside was that it was quite noisy and it was easy to hear people opening and closing their doors, talking in the hallways.

We was on the 5 floor in a second building so had to get the lift from the lobby to the second floor, walk along the corridor and over the bridge and then get another lift to the 5th floor, This lift had boards around the inside which looked a bit dodgy as u can see from my picture, this was a bit annoying especially in the morning when it was busy as some guests were rude and despite us waiting patiently they would just barge in front of you which is very rude and frustrating.

Hotel corridors are dark and dated (including a very odd carpet)

To access this room - you have to get lift to second floor, then walk along the corridor and get a second lift to second floor..not a problem really, at least it was more quiet.

To get to my 3rd floor room, I had to take a lift to the 2nd, walk along a corridor then take another lift to the 3rd, which seemed a little odd.

The hall carpets play a little mind game with you.

Hotel decor is weird with canvasses of randoms above the bed and the hallway floors have a gutter/drain image on them.

The rooms and hallways are outdated and need a refurb

although I only saw one dog being walked around the corridors, and this in no way spoiled my visit.

take the lift to the 2nd floor, get out, walk along the corridor to the end and take the other lift to the 3rd floor!

The rooms are not sound proofed and the cleaners bang and clatter in the hallways from 7.30am and don't seem to realise they work in a hotel when people are sleeping.

but actually make the corridors look dowdy.

Our room was in another building, so we had to take the lift to the third floor, then walked a minute down the corridor to the next building and take another lift up.

The only thing that's sort of negative is that we had to get a lift to the second floor, walk to the end of the corridor to get another lift to the 3rd floor

Great location , very central for all exploring .

Location was only 22 minutes by train from the Schiphol airport.

It's well located and the spa room bath is amazing.

Hotel was situated in a great location & staff were friendly.

The location of this hotel is great, right in the city centre and a short walk from Centraal station.

Very fair price for aa hotel of this quality in such a great location.

Location proved good as Centrum Amsterdam is very walkable.

Top location as it is only 6-7 minutes walk from Central Station.

Only 10 mins walk from the Central station, and a great location for everything.

The Inntel hotel's location is absolutely perfect if you are interested in staying in the heart of Amsterdam.

I stayed there 2 nights during a business trip, the great asset of this hotel is its location - 5 mins was for the Eurostar station and in the middle of Amsterdam historic center.

Great location right in the centre, kind and helpful staff.

We stayed in the room with jacuzzi and sauna.

Nice room, excellent check-in and check-out experience, never seen faster.

Hotel is also lovely and the rooms are clean.

We had a twin room which had everything we needed.

We stayed in Wellness Room - I would definitely recommend spending the extra money and booking this room it makes the experience even better!

Rooms were spotless and staff were so friendly and helpful.

Rooms were clean, good sized bathroom, nice shower.

The room was very tidy and clean and an overall good customer service.

The room was clean and the hotel is in a great spot for a short walk to the canal and shops.

but all the rooms seemed clean and spacious.

The hotel was very good,quiet and clean rooms with good comfortable beds, excellent breakfast.

Our room was spotless,  with comfortable king bed, TV, air conditioning,  hairdryer,  robes and slippers.

The room was really clean and the bed was very comfy.

i had every intention and this is disgusting.

Especially if it accidentally slips out of your hand creates a fire or toxic fume.

6.30 am a intense bacon smell invaded the room.

The jacuzzi in our room was faulty and didn’t work, the coffee machine had not been cleaned in years we turned it on and stale green water came out smelling so bad we had to leave the room.

I sprayed quite a bit of my Chanel perfume to mask it!!!

I would like to bring to your attention the notes of my experience and complaint:

The room smelled of damp and like a smokers room.

Mountains of garbage bags piled up against shop fronts and literally millions of cigarette

Unfortunately this means that smokers of cigarettes and cannabis congregate outside and, to enter the hotel, you have to pass through their cigarette and cannabis smoke!

The “ wellness centre “ consists of a cold sauna and a cold steam room (that smells bad)!, both of which you can turn on the timers for and wait 30 minutes to warm up if you  have nothing better to do .

The ledge outside our window was full of cigarette

Once inside I felt let down, the room was smelly and very dated.

however there was no plug for the sink, again not particularly green to pour tens of litres of water down the drain.

although at first glance room looked clean, having dropped something that rolled under bed I was disgusted at how filthy it was.

but when I'm paying £290 plus a 50 euro deposit (and what's that for? Do I look like someone who's going to smash a room up and smoke bongs ???)

Also a section of floor 4 really smelt like curry because of the restaurant next door.

The room did kind of smell of urine at times, which detracted from the overall experience.

The desk was helpful with advice, business services (printing in this case) and holding luggage.

Although he apologised for the incident, we still need to say something so that they will learn from the incident.

Plus, we saw a few people at reception have to book their breakfast time slot in order to make sure the hall wasn't overcrowded,

Calm, atmosphere, little noise, friendly and helpful staff.

but we were out all day and come back late so no staff around to ask.

The staff are really professional and polite

The staff at the hotel were wonderful and accommodating and we are grateful for everything they did for us.

Friendly & efficient front of house staff.

The hotel staff were very polite and helpful.

Breakfast was very good and the service by the hotel staff was good.

Staff were extremely helpful ( trust we requested a lot of directions).

- Shared dorms and bathroom were extremely clean.

We used the comunal kitched whwnever we needed, which was also nice and clean.

Great Hostel, clean and great facilities, breakfast was good, could be better

The hotel itself is modern, clean and comfortable.

Overall, very clean, private and easy to navigate the city from.

I stayed at this hotel with 23 friends and every room was a decent size and Very clean.

The rooms were all Morden, tidy and practical.

but it was very clean and service was good.

We Stayed here from 22/11 to 25/11 as a group of 7 friends we can not fault the hotel whatsoever friendly staff clean rooms and great transport links from both the airport and to central , when returning to Amsterdam we will be sure to book again

My room was clean, except for the fact that the bin was full with previous guests' litter.

Overall, the room was spacious for the four of us, with clean bathroom facilities,

Room on 5fl for 3 of us had enough space, clean and large bathroom.

Hostel itself is lovely and modern, very clean.

The rooms and communal areas were spotless and the room had the nicest shower I've ever had in a hostel.

However, that’s not what happened, we put on the door a sign that we didn’t want to have the room cleaned and when we came back my charger that was on the power plug wasn’t there!

- Common cooking area was a bit messy due to hostellers not cleaning up after themselves,

For cleaning, we requested front desk and they confirmed it will be done,

I marked a 3 because they were late to clean the room the one day, and subsequently, the room went uncleaned that day, plus, the room was a lot smaller than the picture of the room shown when booking.

although in this particular day no one clean the room until 1 pm and i asked reception to send someone to clean it i came back from our trip to find these lost things from our bags 
I asked the reception to investigate this situation.

We had an incident with a room not being ready, being issued keys and then getting yelled at my the housekeeping staff for coming up.

Cleaning of the room could also have been better.

When we returned to the hotel to collect our bags, it was clear that the cleaner had been in and the Euros that were in the trainers, packed in the case had been taken and the  English money had been left.

The floors and baseboards could have been cleaner,

In general the quality of cleaning service was very poor.

but the cleaning lady shouts like a jail warden, dictating how to sort-out yourself the litter, glasses, plates, cutlery in different sections.

Room was never cleaned and bed were not once changed- only folded to make look neat.

The hotel is exactly next to the station and if you spend some days in Amsterdam is at a strategic point.The staff was really kind and all speaking English fluently.The room was really big and clean.The only thing that is not so serious for us because we stayed only 3 days,was that no-one came to tidy the room.Super market at 100 metres and many other shops in the train station! !

Also, I did not like the fact that cleaning in some rooms started very early and the cleaning staff began to move the furniture noisily, even at 8-9 am on Saturday.

Unfortunately it was not cleaned up until after the next morning when we came up to the front desk and asked to do it.

First day we were out and when we returned that evening the room was not cleaned, on my talk with the front desk they were evasive and finally a senior manager by the name of BRAT (who was very true to his name) attended me.

Went into the toilet - the door was damaged as if someone had punched or kicked it on the other side of the door there was old blood dripping down the door- after informing reception about the damage to the door and the blood the receptionist didn't even flinch there was no apology after i repeated again that there is blood on the door he asked for the room number and said he will get someone to go up and look at it.On the third day of our stay when the room was serviced that is  when the door was cleaned.

The only critic is for not cleaning the floor in rooms - it was dusty the day we came in and it wasn’t vacuumed even once during our 5-day stay.

Only thing that stopped a 5 was that the room could have been a bit cleaner.

There is a Spar right next door 
Concrete walls so despite being a busy place full of young people.. it was silent in our room

Bad Points :
The room was MUCH smaller than the ones used to advertise on the website
The beds were uncomfortable
Our room was cleaned and left without towels on both occasions

After having sent 3 e-mails and never receiving a response, I tried to ask my question via telephone.

sent several emails and tried to call with no joy absolutely discussing customer service from a major hotel chain they don't care ..I will not leave this and will tell anyone who will listen and won't let it lie and intend to seek legal advice.

The hotel is no way to be contacted either through phone or mail and website.

No phone in the room so in case you need something you have to go physically to reception.

We have booked 5 nights for Eister from wednesday to monday through booking.com when we arrived it seems that a mistake happened the room was reccorded into the hotel system only for 4 nights (from w to sunday) after coiple of minutes they said that we have to call ourself booking

-If you need something/have extra requests while in the room (ex: toilet paper, extra towels), you need to go downstairs to the front desk and ask instead of calling from your room.

I was disappointed at the lack of phone, iron and ironing board within our room.

but no lamp, so I had to use my phone's flashlight a lot.

You need to choose the floor while calling for the lift.

There are slight ledges above the beds we had on the seventh floor, which we could use to put phones, etc on.

I used two different access codes for my phone and my laptop,

only downfall is no breakfast is included and no phone to reception in the private rooms.

but no extras - like a telephone but in this day & age of smart phones.

but no fridge, no phone in the rooms, so shouldn’t be a 3* hotel.

We were told that the 24/7 bar was in fact not 24/7 to us and that they also would call two police if we did not return to our rooms.

There were no glasses in our room, and the lack of a phone to call other rooms bothersome (the Frankfurt airport location had phones, and we were travelling with another party).

but some queuing was involved - which seems quite natural these days. WiFi is included in the rate - but you'll have to be very patient in the evenings (all these teenagers with their mobile devices.  )

No phone in the room, so unless you want to get out of bed, I suggest ear plugs.

Unfortunately, I have to leave a poor review after my experience with dealing with this hotel chain.

The buffet breakfast was very poor, crowded dinning room. 120€/night?

The only criticism would be that the coffee was poor.

but I would not stay here again due to the attitude and poor customer service shown by staff.

The room was a good size and the only thing that let it down was the air con, the room was like a sauna every evening when we returned which meant very poor sleep for us all.

However we received really poor service regarding the travel cots which I booked in advance, double checked the day before and on check in.

Finally the breakfast is really poor and the milk from automatic machine really bad.

If you need somewhere near the station, with 0 character (both decor and staff) for poor value, then this is the spot!

I regret that I wont be using this hotel again due to my poor room size.

However:
- soundproofing is very poor, you could hear everything from neighbouring rooms and the hall; + the hotel is right near to the train station and you can hear trains coming and going;
- the maid accidentally took my towel that I brought with me and they couldn't find it.

The only thing I found that was poor about our stay was the staff.

This is either a really posh hostel or a quite poor hotel.

My only issue would be the breakfast, which was expensive and quite poor,

When you combine that with poor cleaning, no toilet paper, non performing wifi, under dimensioned breakfast and restaurant area we all in all were VERY dissatisfied with our stay.

but I guess it's no fault of the staff, but probably the poor management.

This is particularly surprising given that our initial request was not to cancel the booking or request a refund in anyway,

I emailed on april 5th and was replied that refund is requested to related department.

We were not explicitly told when booking that a parental consent form would need to be filled out for the 17 year olds and since there were two adults and we had not been asked in any other establishment (we stayed in Barcelona just days before), we assumed we didn’t need to.

No kettle in the room even if we requested it to reception.

When we went downstairs right afterwards to confirm with the staff before our checkout time, we were told by two grumpy employees that their “quota” for late check-outs had been met and that there was nothing they could do to accommodate our request.

Only 30 seconds from the the train station, which takes you directly into the centre of Amsterdam for around €5
- the spa shop is 1 minute walk away 
- a taxi back is around €30 from the centre

Bad points

- were not provided with large towels and when we asked we had to pay, which someone else in another room didn’t have to pay.

I had to request it was done straight away as the kids were tired.

When they turned up they were turned away despite us filling in parental consent forms etc as requested.

When i asked him to come up and have a look at the room condition he was blatant that he had no time and if we are not happy we could move out.

There was a bit of an issue with the room bookings as we had requested for a 5-bed room and instead were given a 4-bed room and one of us had to be separated.

The taxi drivers asked us why we're staying in such a dead area.

We understand that young people like to have fun so tried not to worry too much about it, they did quieten down when we politely asked them to.

but when we asked at 9am before we checked out if we can stay until 2pm (our sister was feeling bad) the receptionist told us very unfriendly that we have to leave at 11am.

When asked why no one told us this at checkin, he says 'it's policy'.

when I asked for a bigger room, was told I could not change.

We were asked to clear our own tables and to put our crockery and cutlery into different trays/baskets for the dishwashers.

I went to amsterdam with 3 of my friends and we stayed in a room with 4 beds, thinking we were going to be safe and super relaxed.

- The room was extremely hot one of the nights,

The room wass nice and clean with new furniture.

From property perspective the location room size and bathroom is nice,
