The all inclusive nature of the hotel is luxe, the full breakfast, open self-serve bar, afternoon snacks with wine, plus the helpful staff, are all excellent.

The all inclusive buffet was great too with lots of branded drinks to chose from and the cheese trolley was delicious.

The all inclusive aspect of the hotel makes for a great stay: nightly wine and cheese, unlimited soft drinks, and my favorite, sparkling water on tap!

The hotel is impeccable, very well maintained, well located, all the details taken care of, the personnel very attentive to everything, the “all inclusive”, a great plus, snacks, wine, drinks, and specialty coffee and teas almost at any time.

We had a fabulous time at the Banks Mansion Hotel, our room and the hotel was so lovely, our bed and the pillows were so comfortable, their staff were so friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble, plus the all inclusive concept is a great idea that we really enjoyed and we would recommend this hotel as a wonderful place to stay.

From checking and open bar till midnight to breakfast and luggage service, everything is fantastic!

The free breakfasts were yummy with made-to-order omelets, fresh OJ, and a cappuccino machine; plenty of seating.

Every day was special from the lovely and excellent breakfast made by Alphonse, Sandra and other great people, to the wonderful desk staff who were always friendly and helpful, including Jean-li, Kouatar, Shafani, Noureddine and Patrick- who gave us great restaurant recommendations and much other excellent advice.

Exactly what we hoped for—great location, clean and comfortable accommodations, and terrific extras (superb breakfast service, excellent beverages available on demand, and more.)

Breakfast at the hotel was a wonderful way to start the day.

The hotel is well-appointed, has a great location, is very clean, and each morning had a yummy breakfast buffet with a large selection.

Room a bit small and the bed was two single beds thrown together.

Though the rooms are a bit small by American standards, ours was a lovely room and with our view of the canal, we were very pleased.

However, the first room we were given this time was small and narrow, not the room requested!

The offerings of wine, a large variety of drinks, cheeses, snacks is terrific.

They also put out assorted wines and snacks daily around 4pm.

but I stopped and made myself a cocktail in the Living, had some wonderful snacks and cheese and was able to relax enough before I went out for dinner that night.

The lobby is basically a big living room with daily snacks, drinks, wine and beer and all free!

The reception area was comfortable and clean; lots of people mingling and enjoying drinks and snacks.

They have a self-serve bar in the lobby available 24/7, free snacks, a wine & cheese hour each day, hot breakfast, and a complimentary minibar in the room!

The staff can make or break a hotel, and this staff was there to help with everything from directions, to snacks, to first aid .

The snack selection during the day is delicious and the breakfast is very luxurious.

The hotel provided Dutch snacks in the lobby throughout the day.

Too bad because the location is great, a few stops of the M52 and you are in the city center and you have a lot of choice for breakfast.

Ok…so…the hotel is 2min walking from the train and metro station.

but also thanks to the nearest train and metro station, located next to the hotel, it is good connected with Amsterdam City Center.

The location is super convenient: the train / metro station is literally outside the door, not to mention all of the restaurants and shopping opportunities close by.

Everything about the hotel was perfect in every way, just a few steps from the metro station, modern, nice and clean with a very nice breakfast and super friendly and helpful staff.

It is in a very busy area, just a minute walk from Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena train and metro station.

The best, the location (next to the train and metro stations), the breakfast, the size of the rooms and the attention and professionalism of the staff, with special mention to Franjeska, very attentive and ready to clarify our doubts.

even though the staff spoke perfectly English she was insisting on add car park price to our rate and couldn’t understand when my husband wanted to split the payment in 2 cards.

They charged me one more night by blocking the sum on the card.

I have been charged additional EUR 165+ without using services applicable.

She then informed her colleague checking in early comes with a fee of 20 euros per room and charged us accordingly.

No small refrigerator, beds are hard, no electrical outlet in the bathroom to blow dry hair and no USB outlets to charge your phone.

Combined with the Amsterdam Regional Card we never thought twice about going anywhere.

Called back and spoke to someone else who claimed to be in charge and gave his name as Vincent who was equally unhelpful

In addition to all the hassle of moving rooms, it also turned out that there was apparently an error on my credit card so that the required deposit could not be charged,

Breakfast is a lottery as you need to get a card with the half hour time you can have it , if you get there late you can only get the 7 am or 10 am coupon.

But they felt the need to charge me for an umbrella which I never bought off them.

Note that Dutch taxis charge surge rates during transit strikes; instead of the fixed 45 euros to Schiphol, we paid 72 euros.

But, I also requested a late checkout based on their site in regards to "policies",
which states "Late Check-Out Fee 25.00 € Request upon availability. Check out after 6PM, full night will be charged."

Due to a heat wave in Netherlands guests were provided with a spare card to keep a/c turned on when they're away.

Stayed here on the 17/03/2019, when me and my wife arrived we were advised to pay 11.51 euros for city tax which we did we also purchashed 2 48 hour travel passes for 27 euros, both payment were made with my debit card and pin number entered.

I advised them that all charges were to go to my credit card (which they never were).

We bought a 48 hour public transport card and travelled into Central Amsterdam several times over the course of 3 days.

Was slightly cheaper booking via booking.com, at EUR99, and seemingly I am going to get a $40 credit due to loyalty (time will tell).

Then when we were departing the girl wanted to charge us again for the room when we had paid cash on arrival, Then to top it off once we returned home my friend had noticed that the hotel had taken another large payment out her bank.

The hotel was in an excellent location, a 5minute walk from the arena and located next to the train station.

Highly recommend this hotel, specially if you’re going for a concert in Ziggo Domme like I did, the arena is just a few minutes walking.

The location, if going to the arenas  in Amsterdam is ideal.

This Hampton is in a great location for the arenas (we were attending a gig) and the train station right outside offers both the metro into Amsterdam and suburban services across the country (a day trip to Leiden is thoroughly recommended).

In short, our stay at Hilton Arena Hotel was beyond exceptional.

We chose the hotel due to its closeness to the arena and it really served its purpose.

Aside from the great reception we had at Hampton Inn Amsterdam (Arena Blvd), I'd like to highlight the cheerfulness and helpfulness of the following people: Angelyn, Jackielyn, Naveed, Sandra.

The hotel is located just opposite the Bijlmer Arena train station where you can catch the train to the airport or the metro to Amsterdam city center.

There are so many other places to stay, I would only stay here for one or two nights specifically for an event at the arena or dome.

While this hotel would suffice for an event at the arena or Ziggo dome, I don’t recommend for more than 2 nights.

Stayed here for 4 nights when there wasn’t anything on at the Arena and found the hotel met my needs.

but well located directly next to Amsterdam Arena train station, so easy access to Amsterdam Central and the airport.

The front desk clerk in the evening were very entertaining with providing me option of places to visit.

This hotel may be convenient for certain business visits, and proximity to the arena,

Location is really good right next to the Bijlmer Arena station.

Walking distance to John Cruyff Arena, Ziggo Dome (concerts, basketball & hockey), ING Building, Decathlon Arena, Adidas Coach Performance Center, Train Station & many many shops & restaurants.

My stay was fantastic, as was my general experience in Amsterdam itself! - Location is great, both for people attending events at the nearby arena (hence the hotel name!)

The only complaint was that the room was quite small

The hotel is clean and looks ok, our room was small for saying it’s using the name Hilton, only one coffee each provided and the only place to plug in the kettle was in front of a mirror, as you can guess the mirror got steamed up, again not something you would expect for a Hilton.

but clean room with close proximity to Ziggo Dome - also good transport links.

The Ziggo dome and AFAS live, are very close by.

We chose to stay here as we were attending an event at the Ziggo dome.

You’re walking distance from the Arena and Ziggo Dome.

Convenient for the football stadium and the ziggo dome.

Perfect for our visit to the ziggo dome and the following night to the Arena concert.

We were visiting to attend a concert at Ziggo Dome, it was literally a 5 min walk from the hotel.

excellent location for Ziggo Dome and Ajax Stadium.

Even when extremely busy at 11.00pm after a huge concert at the nearby Ziggo Dome the service was quick efficient & friendly

This is a fantastic hotel if you are planning to attend a concert or event at the Ziggo Dome or the Amsterdam Johan Cruijff Arena and want to be closer to the metro.

Excellent right by the arena and the Ziggo Dome.

Used this hotel in April 2018 as a base for both the Ziggo Dome and the center of Amsterdam.

The Hampton near the Amsterdam Arena is one of my favourite hotels in Amsterdam, thanks to its quiet and comfortable bedrooms, free very good breakfast, upscale feel, and very good prices IF there is nothing going on in Ziggo Dome or Arena.

We absolutely love this hotel and everything about it from the delightful staff to the very comfortable room and excellent breakfast.

The restaurant was delicious and the pricing was perfectly reasonable considering the quality of the food and the high level of service.

The breakfast was delicious and copious, with cooked choices  as well as a wide, fresh buffet selection, beautifully presented.

The breakfast was delicious and bar was the perfect place for a glass of wine.

With the ideal on-canal location, terrific staff, superb accommodations, and wonderful breakfasts, the hotel was our gateway to a few magical days in Amsterdam.
