Old room, bathroom is like a jail, door doesn't close properly so you can enjoy all the noises from outside when you sleep, the minibar is grim, not refilled, no water and .

so my new husband and I had 3 very bad nights sleep and could not wait to check out to go to our next destination.

On exploring Paros lengthily over our stay we realised the location wasn't great and ended up hiring a car as the hotel transfers to the port or town were restricted and to be honest we wanted to get away from the hotel until we had to sleep there!

Our whole next day = exhausted
It took us a few days to recover from our night of not sleeping.

but we were hardly there besides to sleep.

Our bed was possibly one of the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on with an extremely hard mattress.

I'm a passionate photographer, woke up long before the sunrise and drove to the beautiful church of Agios Fokas at the end of the island which is close to the Agnanti Hotel, spent there a lot of time to take photos and nobody bothered me.

but it was impossible to sleep due to the light.

There were 5 of us in the room, two of us slept upstairs in the queen bed under a mosquito net and three slept downstairs on the single beds.

The bed was as hard as concrete, therefore we had no sleep in 3 days, and the bedlinen had a musty smell.

The views are stunning, the rooms are modern and immaculate, and the staff was EXCEPTIONAL.

The staff have been pleasant and the breakfast is good.

And most importantly, the staff was amazing.

We found the staff to be incredibly accommodating and kind.

Front desk personnel were great and very helpful.

Big thanks to the staff for being so welcoming and attentive too!

George ran to our door immediately after our return to scream (I kid you not, scream) at us because we left a few shirts on the floor, because he could smell the chicken we had cooked the night before, because he found makeup on a towel, and to tell us that we were the worst guests he had ever received.

The owner is incredibly sweet, so friendly, and is very helpful with everything we needed.

We loved this hotel, all staff were so friendly and rooms were beautiful with a breathtaking view.

The walk into town is 25 to 30 minutes along a road that feels a little dangerous

although we didn't - Bill gives everybody a lift as needed and no doubt might even bring you back if free - that said a taxi is 6 Euros only back from town- 
There is some road noise in the rooms and one can hear a bump if your neighbour is loud - 
Plus the humming fridge drove me to disengage it !!!

The only downfall was the walk to beach through fields as dogs came out after few days and at night it was a bit scary, it is not a long walk,

The floor of the shower was the foor!, there was a dangerous stair after the door..

+/- 20 to 30 minutes walk from Paros port
- cold shower (if neighbour take shower, you will have no warm water) no sun = no water and a long shower of neighbour = no warm water for yourself
- leaking shower
- no internetconnection in the room
- television does not work
- very old towels
- bedroom is not cosy --> more like a factory (bright light, bad badfreame and matras) you can see that there are no pictures of the rooms on there website.

Excellent communication from hotel with pick up drop off at Ferry.

What stands out for the Akrotiri is the staff.

We relied mostly on taxis at least one way which any member of the helpful team was able to arrange without any issue.

Margarita was so welcoming, showing us where to go on the map, and Lauren and Maria, and all the staff were so hospitable, making our stay very memorable.

We love all in Akrotiri and particularly the staff, from Marousso to Margharita,  MARIA (Bravo!

We were greeted with lemonade with a twist and our luggage was taken to our room as we relaxed in the outdoor patio.

but in the current climate I feel the need to say how good this hotel and staff are.

Spacious rooms in a beautiful garden, lot of space around two pools closed to the beach (Beach sets availabel for 15 Euro / Day) and a very friendly and helpful service rounds up this 5 star hotel.

We arrived  at the hotel to an indifferent reception staff which was rather disappointing and left a poor first impression.

Initial room was poor,small and shabby,certainly not 4*.

WiFi is dire both the log on system that's logs you off after 30 minutes requiring a reconnect that often doesn't work and the poor or no signal away from reception - major frustration.

I am already one night here and yet I have faced no running water in the toilet, no hot water in the hub, sticky tv control, very expensive and very poor breakfast with extra charge on the coffee!!!

Also the gym is very poor not that I needed it since there are so many more fun ways to exercise on the beach and in the sea!!!

..DONT bother getting it is HORRIFIC, very poor EXTREMELY BAD, coffee . .

The owner, an aged rude guy is hiring inexperienced service personnel, apparently to cut  costs, that are obviously oppressed and have only poor knowledge and no real willingness to provide good service.

however a point to note is that I do not think there is a lift to the rooms.

The only thing was there is no elevator so you have to carry your luggage to your room.

Please keep in mind there are no lifts in this hotel, so you will have to carry your luggage up some stairs.

One other point- there is no elevator in this hotel if climbing stairs is an issue.

The drain for the shower is in the middle of the small bathroom so the floor does get wet.

the shower is tiny, with a heavy curtain all around.

The shower was too small and I hate curtain.

However the rooms were very small and basic, the shower is very tiny and the towels were like sandpaper.

The shower is small, that the shower curtain sticks to your body when showering.

There are a few things that I feel I should mention that we were not too fond of, one is that the beds are on the hard side and the other is that the shower curtain sticks to you when you shower because the shower curtain is so thin and light and the shower is so small.

only quibble being that we felt the shower was a little too small

Only downside was the small shower with too short curtain.

(Bread could sometimes be fresher though)

Points of improvement:
- room was basic, only 4 hangers, small bathroom (especially shower!)

though the Hotel was near the shops and square the windows and wooden doors you could close blocked out the sound
The only negative was the small shower with the shower curtain and the wifi didn't work in the corner bedroom we had , we had to go into the courtyard to use it

but very small room and bathroom, old and unfunctional furniture (wardrobe),  no space for clothes and luggages, due to the presence of a mini fridge and seif inside the wardrobe.

However, the rooms are too small, specially the bathroom.

This hotel was our favorite of our stay in Greece: the quality of the room and the service, the hospitality and kindness of the staff, the quality of the breakfast, the location.

Extreme kindness of the team, Nice and zen décoration  , very quiet patio, fantastic breakfast.

Way too small, the faucet is very annoyingly placed and the shower curtain is always clinging to your body while you shower.

(a note on the bus station-if you buy your ticket from the window instead of the machine then be aware that the guy working there tried to short change us twice!)

but the combination of uncomfortable bed, no curtain and being noisy meant I didn't sleep well and hence the two stars.

Tiny, with a shower curtain (which I hate) and irregular waterflow.

Only criticism was street light shining into room window all night, and no blind to limit its' glare.

The only thing to improve is the fact that it has no blackout curtains and the light enters in the room very early in the morning.
