but for anyone on AI very repetitive & we would have appreciated more variety.

ignore any bad reviews about food..it was very very good and wine was very good.we were all inclusive and had a superior room with front sea view on the first floor ( room 123 ) ..large terrace with table and chairs and 2 sun loungers..comfortable bed.

We did not need to leave the hotel as we were all inclusive and the hotel grounds are extensive so you can sit and enjoy the beautiful gardens and the sea beyond from many different places.

All Inclusive drinks were also of a good quality at all three bars and in the dining room..

Food and drinks on AI were decent quality.

We always go All Inclusive and cannot  fault the quality of both food and drink.

We were on the all inclusive package and found the drinks and food package really excellent.

They were very inclusive of all age groups.

The good and drinks on offer for all inclusive were varied and plentiful.

Drinks on all inclusive were good , cocktails were watery

The main meals were ok (mass AI standard),

All inclusive it is not  Spa is £10 extra , decent wine and spirits extra.

Being all inclusive we found the poolside bar good for lunch.

First time All Inclusive couldn't have been better.

We have stayed in many all inclusive hotels

We were went half board ( you could do all inclusive ) and sometimes ate lunch at the pool cafe which had a good choice of snacks and drinks to suit all pockets.

Probably the best all inclusive food I’ve had in an hotel.

One bar on seafront was busy and only four of us in there .

It did get busy for limited periods during the organised activities (aqua fit,  water volleyball and basketball) which were well attended by holiday makers

but did get very busy at times in evening so maybe need one more on the bar.

Swimming pool with sunbeds was very busy and full by 9am, there's a beach nearby ( 25 minute walk)
Hotel offers to take you to a local resort , you have to book well in advance (3 days)

Not much on offer for lunch and dinner.

It was never excessively busy, except for 1 day,

The hotel has a total of about 200 rooms so is never very busy like big resort hotels.

The only disappointment was the pool bar which was very busy around lunchtime and I had to give up waiting the couple of times I went there.

He will also serve you at the table when not too busy.

My recommendation to enjoy the best of the hotel is to visit beginning of October as I understand that it gets very busy at the height of the tourist season.

The hotel wasn't too busy (even for August) with plenty of sunbeds available around the pool.

The place use to be extremely busy throughout the day with various sports activities and why the terrace bar is closed in the evening I do not know.

Breakfast is open from 7.30am, can get busy at about 9am.

but probably not in high season as we prefer the less busy September period.

There was always space around the pool and the dining room was never overly busy.

When it got busy during the evening they opened one of the pool bars too.

Overall:
For us, as a couple, the San Luis was too busy, noisy and full of children, as well as the restaurant feeling more like a canteen and the food being disappointing.

The sports facilities are  excellent and the Hotel and grounds kept very clean and tidy.

The positives, were friendly, helpful and efficient staff, clean & comfortable bedrooms and also the public areas of the hotel.

The staff were very friendly & helpful & the hotel spotless.

The room and hotel was immaculate..as soon as we entered the lobby it was beautiful and the check in staff were very friendly especially sylvia..greeted with a nice cold glass of champagne..very much welcomed in the heat.

The Hotel was clean and all the staff was helpful and polite.

We went as a family of adults and from our first impression when we entered the beautiful foyer and were greeted with a glass of Cava, until we left 5 days later, we could not fault the friendly staff ( special shout out to Virginia and Nachos), the cleanliness of the hotel and the great food and entertainment that was on offer.

Overall, it was clean, we felt safe and always found something to eat and drink at meal times.

Big shout out to staff, Mandy on reception, Justo and Julien and the young man Vicente who in the evenings cleared glasses in the bar, and a big thank you to all dining room staff, chefs and cleaners who keep hotel very clean.

A welcoming hotel, very clean and nothing is too much.

Our first impressions of this lovely holiday hotel were ones of functionality, efficiency and cleanliness.

The hotel was absolutely spotlessly clean everywhere and the lady who cleaned our room 513 left it clean and immaculate for us to return to everyday. Excellent.

We spent a weeks holiday at this hotel with 6 other friends.

We went for a nice relaxing break & that was what we got.

If you want a relaxing break within a beautiful setting, then this hotel is the one for you.

If you are looking for a quiet break with no noisy distractions then this is the venue!

If you want a holiday with plenty of surrounding nightlife this is definitely not the place to stay as it is in a nice quiet area for a restful holiday.

All in all we had a fantastic relaxing holiday.

The hotel has many excellent facilities as described in their publicity and many holiday makers took advantage of them.

Nice holiday won’t be going back there again tho …

Firstly I must say - overall this was a wonderful, relaxing holiday!

Chose this hotel for a short break in the sun with my friend and grandson.

All in all a great holiday, just get the kids club sorted! !

Its worth the effort to do this to get the best of your holiday.

We have just arrived back from a 7 day half board holiday with upgraded drinks with dinner.

The holiday was fantastic and we would definitely consider returning.

The entertainment team leader is very enthusiastic and energetic and tries his very best to ensure everyone has a great holiday.

Entertainment - think of a poor man’s Phoenix nights

The sunbeds and sombreros are in very poor condition  and need replacing.

Very poor labelling on the food, sometimes totally incorrect labelling, sometimes none at all.

Negatives/ The food is repetitive and cooked to a poor standard.

The only thing that spoiled it for us was the quality of the food, sometimes alright, sometimes poor, there didn’t seem to be any organisation from the kitchen, food was brought out lukewarm and put out on to the heated display counters, even the soup was lukewarm and there was a microwave to heat it up!

Hotel was great ..food mediocre …service at desk good ..room was well cleaned .the swimming pool was far too small for the number of guests .bar service was very poor there seemed to be a severe lack of staff .On one evening there was line of 20+ people

Entertainment - two nights this was provided by the animation team, and it was so poor.

The only thing letting the restaurant down were 2 minor niggles: The orange juice at breakfast was watered orange cordial not fresh, fresh orange juice is 2.50 Euros, really, at a 4 star hotel, very poor.

Only negative about the hotel was lack of music around the pool during the day, and the very poor evening entertainment.

although it was on the menu they had none all week which was poor.

but currently it is being let down by poor service and unfriendly staff members who need training in how to make customers feel welcomed.

but it was full of them, not the hotels fault but it really wasn’t for us and with the hotel being of poor standards, mo bottled water anywhere, no coffee machine at reception,  I assume because it’s not strictly all inclusive, it has different bands.

but not in July/august when it’s so hot and the air con is poor.

For paying guests the drinks are poor value, especially the cocktails, a premixed cocktail for €7 they were rubbish.

Book non-sea view if would bother you
- Bathroom door didn’t shut which was mildly irritating
- Tv with English channels 
- One cleaner great (friendly, helpful and good job) the other poor (unfriendly and left bits)
- Squirty hand soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner attached to walls in bathroom which was really helpful.

The entertainment in the evening was pretty poor and held indoors and felt like we were being entertained in a Care Home sometimes .

but it was very random they would dress up as clowns and walk around the pool to get you involved in a certain activity which was a bit odd the other letdown would be when were eating our meal one of the team came around singing in peoples faces which was a bit rude and as for the entertainment they provide in the nights was poor the vairety show on the monday was that poor 15 minutes in half of the guests left it was cringey they do also bring outside entertainment which is of better quality.

), we missed our occasional evenings up at Las Palmeras (now no longer part of the AI package) and there was a definite cost cutting regime around food quality and getting the AC working in the rooms, the evening entertainment was particularly poor by comparison with previous years (but on a positive note made going to bed so much more peaceful).

The dining was first class with a good choice of good quality food at all meal times and the poolside buffet a real bonus.

Very good beds, room and most of all food.

Great food with plenty of choices to suit all.

but do expect excellent service, quality food and wonderfully clean rooms many over looking the sea, which is about 300 metres away.

Lots of restaurants and shops to go and look in.

I do realise that room allocation depends on availability and the type of room we had chosen,

but the changes made by Hyatt have reduced the rating from 4*  to  2*
Firstly I would like to thank the wonderful service the staff offer, this has never changed in all the years we have been at this hotel and the entertainment as usual was excellent.

It was great to have entertainment in the evening too, starting with a fun game of bingo and then  live performances.

but still enjoy a good time with great entertainment which was provided.

They have an entertainment team with nice staff and there's activities you can do during the day like table tennis, tennis courts, target shooting, etc., and stuff in the evening like bingo, Karaoke, etc.

We could not complain about anything, made exceptionally special by the small animation team of Virginia, Nachos and Dan, who made every effort to make our stay enjoyable, fun and indeed memorable.

Upon the evening you may get hollered by staff of pubs and clubs if you walk past along the magalluf strip, asking if you want to have some drinks

We had a singer one evening and he was brilliant, got everyone up dancing.

We didn’t go to the evening entertainment as it wasn’t to our taste, we usually had a short walk after dinner then liked to sit on our balcony to read.

Pool was clean, enough sun beds available and the evening entertainment was unbeliveable.

I'm afraid our experience was limited to the pool, restaurant and evening entertainment, all of which were first class.

The entertainment team were brilliant , Nacho was loved by the kids and a great energy.

The day and evening entertainment was of a good standard,  always something going on if you want to join in,

Kept us smiling laughing and on one occasion crying.

but a polite 'no' gets them to leave you be.

although clean, are very small and especially the shower.

On our second day the shower head broke - we reported this at 6pm and within an hour the maintenance team had replaced it with no fuss.

It consisted of three single beds (one converted sofa bed), a desk with TV and fridge and en-suite with shower, toilet and basin.

The shower was so small it was near impossible to safely shower 2 small kids, I dread to think how plus size guests must feel.

Also there was no toiletries provided other than a slither of hand soap.

Room tiny, bathroom uncomfortably small, shower untiled and peeling.

The hotel looks tired in places externally, cracked render around pool area , rusting metal fire escape staircases, paint chipped off staircases to pool toilets and to grass area.

The bathrooms in particular are really shabby and the shower is tiny and overflows/leaks if you don’t have it on a slow flow.

The sink was right in the way so it was very challenging.

The bathroom was nice and clean on arrival, the only downside is the shower cubicle was very small.

We stayed in a twin room which was a good size with a small fridge the bathroom is a little small and the shower is tiny.

Rooms - as mentioned in previous reviews, the shower cubicle is tiny.

The only slight negative was sink in bathroom is wide & and it could be a bit awkward to get in, & when we checked out we didn't get asked if we enjoyed our stay

Having watched various youtube videos, we had become worried that we may have booked the wrong accommodation as the rooms looked very small and the showers looked even smaller,

Bathroom: shower cubicle which is small, toilet and basin.

The very worst thing of all is the stench of the toilets.

Shower cubicles in rooms are very small so not recommended if you weigh over about 10 stone.

Very easy to get into Mahon from the bus on the doorstep of the hotel (absolutely worth a trip, we went twice)

Landtrain to lovely beach at Binibeca (I would recommend this beach over the beach at Punta Prima)

So what are the negatives/what would we do differently? 1.

There's a great bus into Mahon, as well as the mini bus into Punta Prima.

2nd time to this hotel and its got alot better in 7 years the location is brilliant and a free bus to punta prima

The free shuttle bus to Punta Prima beach was great and there were 2 other options for getting around - a bus to Mahon (every hour) and a little tourist road train that went along the coast to Binibeca were there are some lovely rocky coves for swimming and snorkeling.

Bus stop in the car park outside the hotel and runs every hour (timetable on the bus stop).

Free return bus from hotel to the nearest beach.

The bus and land train stops right outside the hotel which was perfect for trips out.

Shuttle bus to beach ran hourly and was free.

There is a free bus to the local beach at Punta Prima

There’s a daily shuttle bus to punta prima beach.

We visited Mahon, we got the bus from outside the hotel which was just over €7 for the four of us.

Firstly there are lots of great things about this hotel: the staff are brilliant and work so hard to keep everything running and clean, the water park is great and an added bonus saving lots of money, the hotel has a free bus to Punta Prima beach and there is plenty of choice in terms of food in the restaurant.

Free shuttle bus as well I think it’s a such a good idea.

but if you want to venture out a free bus is provided to take you to the beach.

We used the free bus to the beach and also the ting ting train, which was fun for everybody.

The location is great, close to Mahon with a bus stopping outside the hotel hourly, and a free bus down to a beautiful beach also runs throughout the day.

Free shuttle bus to the beach every hour truly stunning beach only 10 minutes away!

If you want to visit the beach at Punta Prima then there is a free minibus every hour or a ten minute walk.

Shuttle bus goes to Punta Prima beach every hour.

Very clean, very quiet, with nice sea view from 1st floor.

Staff were really great and friendly and we always found everywhere to be clean and tidy.

If you want the kids to have a good time, it's just the place, if you book all inclusive, water park just over the road from the hotel is included, good value for money , plenty to keep them amused the hotel, very clean hotel, staff very helpful,

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, clean tidy lots of food choice :) loved it.

but extremely clean and had the best shower I have experienced in a hotel for a long time.

Rooms were spotless on arrival and cleaning staff visited daily and kept rooms clean and tidy.

Staff always making sure the Resturant is clean.

The pool was clean and well tended to- lifeguard always on site.

Although the rooms could be better and bigger they were spotless due to the quality and impeccability of the cleaning staff
