Staff were efficient and breakfast was good.

It's clean, good value and breakfast is nice for 6 euros.

We also had breakfast the following morning; a typical French continental buffet style breakfast.

but the buffet restaurant next door more than covered our requirements.

We opted for the breakfast too which was out of convenience more than anything as we wanted to get some extra skiing in in Meribel before our onward journey and this suited us well.

On the plus side, breakfast was cheap and ok.

Fortunately more rooms were available so had to pay for two more which were £10 more expensive.

but as it was the worst at my holiday trip we  slept bad- better was to pay a little more and take other hotel.

However as we needed secure parking we chose the Ibis Budget, even tough it was on the edge of town, it was a small price to pay for peace of mind.

The choice of hotels in this town is very poor and this one is cheap - I paid about 40 Euros including breakfast.

However, it was cheap and the breakfast was OK. 

Biggest complaint was that the room heated up at night and so I had to open the window - which ordinarily is something I like to do,

but cheap and ok for one night also when you arrive late, because of credit card check-in when there's no staff.

We expected to get what we paid for in terms of simplicity and minimalism,

No smoking signs everywhere which are ignored.

The bathroom also smelt strongly of drains.

but what I didn't expect was a bed that was more like a rail-car couchette (firm plasticy stuff, like sleeping on a slightly padded bench) and the red-wine chunky vomit that ran down wall behind the main door.

Breakfast is a traditional, simple French breakfast.

I feel the restaurant deserves to have it's Michelin Star awarded again, all the food is home made, bread, cakes, foie gras, puddings etc.

The breakfast was great - homemade breads, tarts, cake, and even home-made croissants.

Breakfast is 12 Euros and is simple French assortement of One croissant, one roll, a boiled egg or two, some ham, cheese,  etc.

Breakfast is included and we were treated to eggs to order in addition to the buffet.

Breakfast was continental and no complaints.

there are menus at 44 euros, 54 and 84. the amuse-bouches were plentiful as well.

Everything was perfect, the service, the rooms and the breakfast.

but I think rather over priced for what you get.

There was no bottle of water and the room (and no mini-bar), access to Wifi is free for the first device, every additionel access / device costs 5€ a day.

The restaurant was very expensive so we eat in a brasserie just down the road.

The room cost €160 for the night and was much worse than a room at an Etap hotel.

although room prices now include breakfast, a bit of updating is overdue and the first floor smelled a bit musty.

I had thought that I had lost an expensive item in the room

To make this worse, incredible noise from a pub with a live band and “happy” clients yelling right across the street. Closing windows for less noise means sitting in a humid oven (the carpet!)

However, the hotel rooms are very basic - small bed, small table, small window, small washroom, one small piece of soap, etc.

So we closed the window and put on the air conditioner, it would not work.

And proceeded to pull back the drapes and opened the windows beside us, I was shocked!

I'll start off with the positive notes: it's dirt cheap, there is free parking, the staff (French speaking, not sure about their English) is extremely friendly and very helpful, and the breakfast (small buffet) was more then decent.

It smelled of moisture and of cigarettes, despite the fact that we had a non-smoking room.

My only issue was opening the window, you couldn't let air in without everyone being able to see in the room (I was on bottom floor).

However, the accommodation was extremely basic and the rooms were smelly.

but will never do so again , smelly , tiny rooms , no reception desk service at night , dirty floors .

The rooms are small and extremely outdated.

This motel is a filthy dump , I had to stay there for a night, having chosen because of its vicinity to the ski resorts ,

The owner is friendly, and makes a great breakfast, so well recommended.

The breakfast provided is both sumptuous and authentically organic.

We had a very warm welcome, went to bed in their comfortable and warm rooms and then on the Friday, we were able to have a late breakfast.

The breakfast of breads, fruits, yogurts, juices and coffee is great.

Breakfast was fantastic; we appreciated the home-made jam made by Christine; and all milk products Claude served were "bio" and of the highest quality.

My wife and I were on a 35 day visit to France and wanted to explore areas where we have never visited over the years.

but comfortable, small bathroom, breakfast was OK, good parking at the rear.

Really nice central hotel in the town with a lovely help yourself buffett breakfast.

but always clean, every day the towels were changed, and the breakfast was excellent.

OK it's not a 5 star hotel and is in need of an upgrade

Here for a wedding, we spent one night and really didn't make many demands on the staff.

Efficient welcome, nice garden, good wifi, a special mention for the well above average breakfast with fresh products.

but worth it with lovely freshly cooked omelette.

The staff where friendly and the breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices including omelette which where excellent.

The hostess makes eggs or omelet with cheese forum you.

All the courses were delicious and imaginatively presented, accompanied by a battle of good local wine.

Breakfast is ok, there was fresh fruit, yoghourt, croissants.

Food was fine and the breakfast buffet did the job.

The room was tiny and no fan in the room and given the temperatures were in the high 30s, it was impossible to sleep as there was no fan provided.

We didn't eat in the restaurant as the menu was uninspiring and there was an excellent café nearby for breakfast and other good restaurants in Albertville.

We were really discussed by the dirty carpet and filthy shower.

There was a smell of cooked food everywhere.

I have a cold and my sense of smell is off

We kept the balcony doors open the whole time we were there and still it smelt.

They were up in the roof space with only a small skylight window for daylight ,had black mould growing up the walls and were dimly lit by a few lamps, there were no lifts to access the 3rd floor rooms, the bathroom was not pleasant either and extremely dated.

At the restaurant they couls do better with the menu and for people staying there make an "affordable" breakfast so you are keen to take it there and not go to the centre of the village

Room are really basic and a refresh of the bedding could be done.

The rooms are basically a bed, sheets, a single wooden chair, Lino on the floor, single glazed windows, thin walls plus a shower room.

but it can be removed if you don't mind re-making the bed!

This place surely makes money during ski season; they ought to invest in furniture and linens that don't look like thrift-shop rejects.

The breakfast buffet was a bit higgldy-piggldy

There was a buffet breakfast of cereals, pastries and coffee.

Ask for a room on first floor if you have trouble with stairs.

There is no lift so you will need to lug suitcases up the stairs and the lights, which are on a short time switch, need to be switched on at each floor.

but others in my party said that the corridors when very noisy and the walls between rooms very thin.

Breakfast was perfect, witth fresh coffee, croissants, pain au chocolat, lots of different jams (all home made) and yogurts .

although the road was very busy when we stayed, mainly due to the cycle event.
