On top of the price they post a sign saying “complementary breakfast will be charged a 15% gratuity”.

They charge $13.95 per person for a small breakfast buffet, which was disappointing and not very appetizing.

Weird foam floating in the hot tub in the pool area, not enough hot water for my wife and I the morning of our departure, mold on the caulk in the shower, stank in the air, double charged at breakfast. .

As we walked in late night the hotel has you scan your card to enter as a security measure. Yet the front desk clerk implied we weren't supposed to be there as he said in a snarky voice, "do you even have reservations here?"

Rude experience, hhonors points room assured nothing put oin card then subject to demands about funds to be chzarged and held as if I was doing a pre pay, which even still then Ive had better expoerience with pre paid bookings who are upfront abpout security holds and charge at chekout everything else added.

I checked my credit card statement when it came in and they had charged me $200.

Its a little unfair to charge extra for less space.

Infuriated I went to get new key cards and was met by another crew of drinking people from a bachelor party or something in the elevator.

You can guess what happened when trying to charge something to my CC a few days later . .

K-Cups came with room and more could be asked for no extra charge.

Around 10pm I went out for a smoke, to the exit closest to the elevators, to find out that key card would not open the door and I had to walk around the dark building to the front entrance.

They practically ignored us except to take our credit card.

The lamps on the nightstands had outlets in them so you could charge your phones.

Stayed at the hotel for 1 night on business and was pleasantly surprised with it - the staff are very friendly - both reception and restaurant staff.

The group continued to party until the early morning hours.

though it was a bit noisy - which was no fault of the hotel - the hockey team parents on our floor seemed to be having a party on the floor - and thankfully the party did break up at a reasonable hour.

Too bad, it would have made a nice exit gift from our party.

Of course, unless there are wedding parties going on.

but avoid a room on the highway side, it's very loud.

A hockey team rolled in - decided they were the 'only' guests in the hotel - yelling - playing 'hockey' -running up & down the hallways- b/c 'they are a hockey team'.

although it's very small (OK for kids to play around in).

but a little loud being by the elevators.

Then noisy guests started coming back from parties and could not sleep till 3am in the morning.

There was a loud party across the hall -- some sort of professional convention after-party.

Hotel was 98% full with hotel staff very minimal for 98% full, every floor partying till 4AM and housekeeping knocking on your door at 7:45 am even with a do not disturb sign on the door.

The nature of my stay unfortunately was for a family funeral and we were a party of 8.

The main downside was the very loud air conditioner.

They were loud and had the TV on super loud and were partying until 2:30 am.

Foul smelling room, broken room furnishings, heater not working, only one sheet on bed, mattress support broken, pool filthy, and second night no sleep from partying neighbor from the wedding held at the hotel.

The latter occurred at 2am when a wedding party (I suspect) came back to rooms a little too loud for their own good.

but this was already 1:00am I didn't see the party(s) ending anytime soon.we demanded our money back and left.

People jumped (nude) into the pool yelling at each other and were very drunk.

The first night we let it slide for the first 3 hours then at ten o'clock we called the front desk to complain about the loud screaming, yelling kids in the pool.

Then his lousy excuse was” I’ll have to call my tech guy and then he can call you to make sure your phone is ok”. Really!!?!?

the housekeeping department returned my call and said no problem just stop by and they are here to pick up,, ( i would think they would know that i stayed there BECAUSE i was from out of town,, not a hotel that ,,shall we say rents rooms by the hour,,,so a 1800 Km trip for a couple of phone chargers was not happening).

The staff needs to pay more attention to people in front of them verses people on the phone, as I was made to wait for a while checking out because someone was on the phone (business not personal).

Young lady on the phone seemed as if she was reading the script when conversing with me.

Calls to the front desk and housekeeping resulted in busy signals.

Everything during our stay at this hotel was fine (check-in, cleanliness, bedding and linen of the room, elevators, hallways, etc), except that when trying to contact someone at the front desk's phone absolutely no one would pick up; absolutely no one.

but then the next day we discovered that the phone was missing.

I had to leave this hotel, get on my cell phone, and try and find another hotel on a Saturday night at 3;00 pm, and it cost me twice as much money .

I spoke to the housekeeping manager, manager and general manager and they still told me the room was used and they found evidence and refused to look into it more and hung the phone up on me and I still got charged.

Noise: Were placed in a room directly above their banquet hall where the noise was deafening until 1:00 a.m. After several calls to front desk, they promised to turn the noise level down(never happened) When I asked to be moved, was told that they were completely booked(which I found out the next was also a lie)

I've been frequenting the Hilton chain(loyally) for over 23 years and have referred hundreds of my clients to them.

Once on the elevator with a bartender, one staff, and a security guard, I was told they would be calling the police soon and evicting guests.

You can checkout automatically from the room phone to avoid having to stop at the front desk.

And since I like to read, the only thing to sign was for parking, non smoking, and deposits,

I point out the sign and she says ‘that’s just a sign, there is no smoking here’.

Restaurant closed from 11am to 5pm was a nuisance since there is nothing within walking distance if the weather in nasty.

Room smelled like someone smoked a box of cigars.

The bathroom smelled musty and the ceiling fan did not work.

The one room we didn't even stay in and to boot we don't smoke!

but the new blanket was just like the last one, minus the bleach stains.

but the room was EXTREMELY scented to cover up what appeared to be foot smell in the carpet.

Standard Hilton room except the hotel is under construction and our entire floor had an off putting smell as a result.

There is no smoking in the entire hotel so that rocked.

no challenges with hot water, our non smoking room smelled of smoke or was quite musty, no one else in group had any problems with the rooms.

however there was a terrible musty odor coming from the carpets, and windows couldn't be opened to air out the place.

but there was always an attentive member of staff ready to help you behind reception.

but the most important aspect is the staff who are really superb, shout out to Leslie at the front desk who seems to anticipate your every need, but the whole team is really first rate.

Several rooms available for teams to gather after hours, food at the restaurant is great quality and the staff are terrific.

Excellent stay experience, kind and prepared staff, comfortable and clean rooms.

Both were pleasant, professional and understanding of our request.

Ukrainian lady checked me in, extremely professional and courteous.

I find that slightly pushy considering check out is 11. Breakfast.

I was able to have a wonderful sleep and retrieve anything that I needed at the front desk.

Our A/C was working when we left for a few hours.

The bathroom had no exhaust fan with the light switch on the outside of it.

but nonetheless, it's reflected in my rating) The breakfast did offer a variety of foods but we had to eat in a strange, windowless room with poor ventilation.

The hotel was 80 degrees + if not more the entire time, no AC available and just completely uncomfortable.

Horrible smell was coming from the halls and rooms, rooms were not very clean at all, a few rooms had zero air conditioning.

The room, was run down, shabby, had an stale smell (we wereable to open the window) The wall and ceiling were damaged, the air conditioner smelled, the wire on the telephone was hanging off the wall.

Lacking cleanliness in room and guest room, odor in room - carpet seemed quite old, humid air in the room, patches of paint repair in the room.

Tv didn’t work well, power went out in room,wall paper peeling off walls, ratty bed skirts, noisy heating system.

Second, the air conditioning was not very adjustable and it was wayyy to warm in our room.

The room was hot and the A/C really had almost no effect on cooling the room down - even after I turned it all the way down.

The heater on wall was not working properly, could only get cold air

There isn't a pool and our room didn't have a working heater.

The old baseboard heating was left with the addition of a heat pump.

The sink is on the outside of the bathroom, again weird.

Very disappointed with price for what you get and the room was bit messy with bugs all over the washroom definitely not the best for the price and the people that stay are just staying to party which gets annoying.

We will never stay at this building again due to the lack of room amenities and the lack of cleanliness this building could provide.

From both the sink tap and the shower the water was hot and couldn’t be adjusted.

I wiped down the shower walls and tub before my shower due to residue I spotted just before turning on the water.

Broken furniture, unable to close the bathroom door, phone not working, crumbs on the floor.

The bathroom headstand pushed up in the corners there was hair caught under the door and there were no grab bars or nonslip mats in the bathroom and when we went to call for assistance there was no phone in the room.

No water pressure, lights not working and kind of outdated.

had no plug for our tub, our room smelled like marijuana, quite old almost motel like.

The shower went from hot to cold then hot to cold again.

From the arrogant staff, to the TOENAILS all over my room, I got electrocuted by a lightswitch with no cover on it, flooding toilet and leaking bath, heat that would not turn off.

My only minimal complaint was that the bathroom was not as clean as it could have been

It is an old hotel in a run down part of town
there are no amenities such as classy restaurant, lounge or anything within walking distance.

It is clear that the hotel is older and can use some updates in the rooms and bathrooms.

Outside by the back door to the parking lot were people smoking pot & drinking.

Other guests were very loud after 11pm, yelling and slamming doors ( I realize that this this is not the hotel's fault,

Then to finish off, the hallway door outside my room would slam shut every time someone would use it waking you up due to the noise.

We couldn't lock our bathroom door because the handle was very loose and falling off.

Typically, for this sort of hotel, a lot of noise travels under the room door so you will hear people in the halls and people occasionally letting their doors slam.

The elevator entrance around the side is great for people that have trouble with stairs at the front door.

TV was broken, Phone was broken, (they said they could not fix them, and I would get use to the huge black spot in the middle of the TV screen) Closet door was broken, bathroom ceiling falling apart, Internet kept crashing, no cell signal.

Hotel is dirty, poor maintenance of the rooms, door lock battery is bad.

The review about the sliding glass doors at front .. it's for protection in cold winters!

Two of the doors we tried to get into were ‘Exit Only’.

Te boys were loud in the hallway and slamming doors until way past midnight,

Door locks don't work properly, water pressure comes and goes (stops completely when showering just for fun), internet is slower than most hotels and staff don't seem overly interested in fixing the issues.

Room: spacious, clean, comfortable, awkward light switch in cupboard as you enter, cooling system was not turned on - could only cool down room by opening window, white noise needed due to loudness of patrons up late on Friday night, suggest adding a sign on back of doors - please close me gently!

The only negative I have is that we chose to have our bill sent by email instead of a hard copy under the door.

Only downfall are older metal doors makes it so noisy you hear everything in the hallway with a huge gap under the door.

You could hear people in the hall when they were talking and you could also hear doors shut.

The breakfast attendant was friendly and helpful.

David & Taylor were amazing hosts…cleaning ladies super friendly, hotel was great, clean, linens were crisp..conveniently close to the GoTrain, perfect fit for our BlueJays game…I left an item behind, and they went above to get it returned to me…
