but we are really disappointed with it and stayed in far better hotels for alot less cost  on a positive note staff lovely and friendly.

All the staff are very hardworking and friendly, special mention to Marina and Javier.

The hotel is beautiful and well kept,very clean,staff are friendly and work very hard.Everything about the hotel was great.Food and drinks were excellent and there was a big variety to choose from.

All staff we encountered were warm, friendly, helpful, always interacting with our baby and we felt incredibly comfortable and safe.

From the moment until the moment we left, the staff were so helpful and friendly (a special mention for Oliver the waiter in the buffet, he was so attentive and engaged with all of our family).

There were lots of positives - it was spotlessly clean everywhere, the main pool with the lazy river was great, baby/toddler pool looked good, food available all day, good day time activities, lots of space for sunbeds (if you didn’t need/want to be round the pool), lots of cabanas, 1/2 bedroom suites were huge and nicely furnished, direct access to the public beach (which was gorgeous) free soft drink mini bar in all rooms, ice creams available all day, soft drinks/beer/sangria help yourself station and all staff were helpful and friendly!

In reception there is a small bar and again the bartenders are lovely and friendly.

All the spaces are clean and well-kept, and the staff are efficient and friendly.

On a plus side, the hotel is spotless throughout, most of the staff were friendly and accommodating, the lazy river around the pool was a godsend, never seen one before

Fantastic hotel, very clean,great location, friendly staff everything you would want for a family holiday.

We returned yesterday from our first family holiday with our girls who are 8&9 and I don’t even know where to start with explaining what a wonderful holiday we all had! On arrival we were greeted by some extra friendly and helpful staff and given our keys to check into our room which was ready for us, the room wasn’t as big as we’d expected for a family, all the beds were in a row with little space for suitcases

The staff were so lovely and friendly and never felt anything was too much trouble.

Starting with the good, the place is immaculate and clean, most of the staff are helpful and friendly, the exception being the man who cooks the meat on the grill at the buffet.

Returned from a weeks family holiday at this lovely hotel, friendly warm welcome, staff all very helpful, food good, plenty of variety.

On a positive note, most other staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful.

Little fella with glasses who I think works the night shift tried to explain what has happening, he subsequently ran off in a huff like some sort of petulant child and left the poor cleaners to try and sort.

The evening entertainment was very poor, not a lot of people even turned up to watch it.

Reception staff are poor at dealing with queries.

Overall, probably a poor choice on our part.

By the time the mini disco (and following ad hoc singing and dancing) is over the adults get an hour or so of some poor tribute act or a quiz.

Most of the time the food was only just warm and and there was a poor selection at the salad bar.

Also the choice for the children was extremely poor.

2 star entertainment wow so poor it let the hotel down.

however, the food in the Buffet of an evening was poor.

When the hotel’s website promoted a “unique experience”, I did not expect it to be a poor one.

More like 4 star hotel .food plates are never clean enough,foods are not great as you expected, very poor spa option(just bubbly water)if you planing to go sea for swimming water is to dark and sand too stoney, it’ is   not for couples more like family.

The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the speciality restaurant, the Asian was very disappointing and the food was poor, so much so we cancelled our reservation at the Italian the next night and enjoyed the buffet instead.

Entertainment was poor or perhaps not my cup of tea.

but other than that it was pretty poor and painful to watch!

The ‘professional’ acts we did see (the Disney show, a dance crew and the Spanish dancing) were really poor more suited to a 3 star hotel.

The hotel has tweaked a few things since the last visit for example the wi if was very poor last time

however dated (poor shower) and impossible to sleep before midnight due to the entertainment (not suitable for families with very young children).

Shout out to Avi one of the entertainers there who was fun and lively and lovely.

Staff work hard and always are keen to help.

On the outside this hotel looks like a 5 star hotel in reception and pool area 5 stars

Just returned from a very good holiday we had room 226 faceing the pool and sea view this was our 2nd visit to this hotel Drinks very good and BRANDED if you ask eg Gordons gin   though tonic from the pump we liked our lunch time drink in the pool bar and ate lunch there everday      We have a moan for main resturant We could NOT get a WARM boiled egg for breakfast staff where puzzeled why hot, ok yes there where boiled eggs

I have tried the spa services such as facials and spa therapies.The ladies that work there were very good and professional.

It was absolute Chaos - Extremely busy it was like being at faulty towers all you could hear was plates/cups smashing people walking into each other etc if and when you eventually find a table you have then joins the queues wandering around looking for something to eat - the bread is lovely

The pool was often not very busy so swimming was an enjoyment.

but as it is not a massive pool I understand in busy times its not ideal, My fish / son still had a great time playing in the pool minus his floats and a little splash pool for the younger ones.

Yes, it is a very busy hotel with so many children and families on holiday, I understand all that

although it was busy I never saw a queue.

but be prepared for a wait for a bus as they are very busy on market day and 2 filled up before we could get on one.

👌 😋 The restaurant was very busy, which took a couple of days to get used to.

The bar was busy (lots of people were on All inclusive),

but very busy, beach straight out the gate, lovely little resort, caters mostly  Spanish tourist who I found d some very rude and especially to staff..

In the evening the staff do come and ask you what drinks you would like and they are bought to you, the only downside is if you want another drink it is hard to get a member of staff to get this for you as always busy cleaning up etc.

although very busy and it seems like perhaps not big enough for the amount of guests.

Pool is only quite small and gets really busy to the point you cant even swim

The bar is great, good measures with proper brands, again staff are friendly and quick.

Staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and responsive - only had one minor issue when safe wasn’t left open by previous occupier

but hey get a life unless you live in Buckingham Palace and that might fall short of their expectations, the restaurant staff, the bar  staff, the pool staff especially Natalie, the cleaners everyone is so friendly and they keep the place immaculate,  2024  will be my fourth time of returning for 3 weeks and I cant wait .

There is always space by the pool, lots of beds available and the staff by the pool moving the umbrellas for everyone are very friendly.

We went all inclusive and the drinks were branded and you never had to queue at the bar.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and always tended to our need, particularly in the restaurant.

This hotel could be so much better - ie sort the smell of sewage spray areas to stop flies etc - There is only one canteen that is clearly not adequate for the amount of guests - then maybe have 2 sittings at meal times  ?

Only problem it seems that the entertainment is geared for the Spanish guests.

If your not Spanish expect to be made to wait to be served by the bar staff who serve all the Spanish guests first and who openly ridicule non Spanish guests, expect to be pushed out of queues in any of the (very few) shops there are and expect to be looked up & down and scowled at when you walk along the front.

but if you're a English speaking family with no Spanish it is really not the place we found that if you didn't speak Spanish you couldn't join in with any of the kids entertainment or the nighttime entertainment as this was all in Spanish also the bar staff tended to leave the English guests just waiting and serve the Spanish guests first

On the occasions that guests were just walking in and not having the towels I assumed that they hadn’t paid.

It is geared as a hotel for Spanish holidaymakers so in terms of the entertainment most of entertainment is in Spanish and I think this an area that could be looked at

It was so loud in the evening as many quests wasn't happy.

If you want a quiet relaxing hotel, Best Sabinal is not for you, both spanish adults and children were rowdy, police being called on one occasion and spaniard guests extremely rude.

but very much catered for the Spanish guests and not English.

The majority of guests at the hotel are Spanish and it’s rare to see other English families.

As everyone else has said the majority of guests are Spanish.

I did think that maybe 33% of guests were foreign, from all over Europe and the entertainment should have been directed to a more international audience.

but outside round the pool and bar  it had never been cleaned this was 10 30 in the morning  bins were  overflowing  with what is going on in the world right now this is unacceptable  to me this should be clean before  guests start coming down around the pool very disappointed

Going to the restaurant was such a stressful experience due to the sheer volume of people, it was so noisy you couldn't hear yourself think, you could never get a table, the staff are so over worked the restaurant is not big enough for the amount of guests.

Negative points - poor welcome on arriving.

The Entertainment was poor for the British, it was all Spanish.

They did run out of ice creams and the alternatives were in poor condition, pity.

The poor staff were rushed off their feet.

Room very poor, no thinking re cupboards and why 2 massive queen beds?.

The night time entertainment is unfortunately poor, to the point that after a few nights we didn't even bother to go and watch it.

The soundproofing was poor, could hear coughing and sneezing from the next room very clearly.

His manner is very poor and bordering on ignorance.

however were poor quality, often stained and on occasions not replaced when left for exchange.

The evening entertainment was poor, seemed to be more geared up to Spanish pensioners.

however, coverage in our room was very poor and hardly worked - we could get no connection at all on the balcony.

This combined with the noise from the children enjoying themselves and a very poor sound system for the entertainment which is situated right in the middle of it all makes for a very un-relaxing time and one literally can't hear oneself speak.

The food in general was poor,cold, very few vegatables and those overcooked, very little choice and breakfast was worse.

I have to agree that this time I found the entertainment on some nights to be very poor, especially when they have Bingo followed by a kiddies disco with no children wanting to take part.

That was the good aspects, In general the service in both the dining room & bar was very poor, generally we waited an average of 15 minutes to order a drink at dinner, one meal we never got served at all, the bar was not much better, in fact we stopped using the bar, and left the hotel for coffee & drinks after our dinner.

The entertainment staff were on it all day and can’t be faulted for children and adults.This is a very Spanish resort and so is geared towards the Spanish.

- Half Board doesn’t include any dinner drinks 
- Pool is freezing so I didn’t go fully in at all 
- Gym was good to have but no towels, no water, no music and no air con
- Found most staff to be not smiley and quite harsh the way they talk to you, rather than open and welcoming 
- Entertainment Bar area is mixed in with football TVs, which is mixed in also with kids games room machines, pool table, etc….

 our cleaner doesn’t even acknowledge us, said ‘hola’ for three mornings, to be ignored and not even acknowledged.

Maids clean and make beds everyday, staff are so nice and polite and fab with the kids.

Plenty of sun beds around the outside pool areas - Now as it says in other reviews staff always cleaning around pool area etc - whilst this was true for our 1st week - hosing /jet washing etc - we never seen much of this the 2nd week

Also Raquel another professional who took pride in her work.

There are a few bars and restaurants out the front and a tourist train takes 45 mins around the area for 7 euro and the local bus is 2 euro each and takes you into almeria about an olhour journey ask at reception for a timetable.

Staff were pleasant and helpful throughout my stay, food was very good and plenty of it amenities were well presented.

Food was fantastic, loved all the cooking stations, snacks were greats, drinks were great and staff were amazing as always.

There are 4 bars for drinks throughout the day and night and most of the staff are very friendly especially the men, the women just ignore you unless you are Spanish.

The food was just one more part of the hotel that was just not  acceptable for a 4 star, this hotel at best could be considered a poor and very tired 3 star.

Wouldn't recommend this Hotel, staff not  helpful, poor quality of sleep due to lack of soundproofing in rooms.

We booked through tui and its very poor they didn't tell us.

but for the price it should of been included, I mean I asked for a bottle of beer and got told it wasn't included, now that's poor.

Only comment would be the AC units are outdated and don't work properly and the food was off poor quality with little choice for the kids.

Restaurants / food - main restaurant in my opinion, was poor.

Staff was not friendly or helpful in any way, we tried to book the Italian restaurant several days on site as the food was just so poor in the main buffet restaurant barring in mind it was 20 euro for adults and 10 for kids and all they was doing was sending us to reception they was sending us back to the restaurant

Alcohol drinks made with cheap alkohol (if are with TUI) with poor choice.

But the dinners were low quality in our opinion, foods often mislabelled, poor cuts of meat etc.

The food was extremely poor with very little choice and repetitive day after day.

but the whole week there wasn’t a decent meal on at lunch or in the evening very little choice and it seemed low quality meat, and you had to make sure the meat they where cooking was done as was twice served pink pork, if it wasn’t for the poor food choice and quality it would have been 5* but to go a whole week without getting it right once is shocking

The food was both poor in choice and quality.

There was only 2 al a carte restaurants open during our visit, the Mediterranean which was really poor and basically the same food you can get off the Buffett and the Italian which was much better.

Other hotel negatives: dirty carpets, poor quality buffet food, a four-star hotel should have four-star food, very small food selection, Hotel rooms are very small despite that we were paying extra to get better room, not enough sunbeds in the pool, constant problem finding free ones, strategically very bad placing of chairs and tables in front of the main stage what consequently caused that people passing from one part to the other part of the hotel obstructed others vision, very stuffy in the gym, you cannot play ball or use inflatable items in the pool even these little ones.

Mains arrived and oh dear it was a cross between Japanese and poor Chinese 

Very weird flavours and neither me or my husband could stomach them - random mix of chicken and sweet / savoury sauces neither resembled Chinese of Japanese food served with chips and salad !

Also a Taco Bell, kfc, McDonald’s and Burger King etc.

Prompt drink service in restaurant,wine good.

However what I will say is that the TUI rep was helpful and tried his best

If you go with TUI, Morne is a wonderful rep, so knowledgeable and passionate about the area.

Staff served Spanish guests before us and would leave you waiting to get served, have conversations or pretend to be doing something so they didn’t have to serve you.

We arrived on Thursday 21st September, for 10 nights all inclusive, from the get go everything was brilliant, staff lovely, as for the sun bed situation, I'm not sure if other people were blind

Had absolutely no problem with the Spanish guests or staff.
