even though the hotel was busy we never waited long to be served.

It was absolute Chaos - Extremely busy it was like being at faulty towers all you could hear was plates/cups smashing people walking into each other etc if and when you eventually find a table you have then joins the queues wandering around looking for something to eat - the bread is lovely

The pool was often not very busy so swimming was an enjoyment.

but as it is not a massive pool I understand in busy times its not ideal, My fish / son still had a great time playing in the pool minus his floats and a little splash pool for the younger ones.

Yes, it is a very busy hotel with so many children and families on holiday, I understand all that

although it was busy I never saw a queue.

but be prepared for a wait for a bus as they are very busy on market day and 2 filled up before we could get on one.

👌 😋 The restaurant was very busy, which took a couple of days to get used to.

The bar was busy (lots of people were on All inclusive),

but very busy, beach straight out the gate, lovely little resort, caters mostly  Spanish tourist who I found d some very rude and especially to staff..

In the evening the staff do come and ask you what drinks you would like and they are bought to you, the only downside is if you want another drink it is hard to get a member of staff to get this for you as always busy cleaning up etc.

although very busy and it seems like perhaps not big enough for the amount of guests.

Pool is only quite small and gets really busy to the point you cant even swim

Only downside for us, the hotel was full and therefore very busy.

This hotel could be so much better - ie sort the smell of sewage spray areas to stop flies etc - There is only one canteen that is clearly not adequate for the amount of guests - then maybe have 2 sittings at meal times  ?

Only problem it seems that the entertainment is geared for the Spanish guests.

If your not Spanish expect to be made to wait to be served by the bar staff who serve all the Spanish guests first and who openly ridicule non Spanish guests, expect to be pushed out of queues in any of the (very few) shops there are and expect to be looked up & down and scowled at when you walk along the front.

but if you're a English speaking family with no Spanish it is really not the place we found that if you didn't speak Spanish you couldn't join in with any of the kids entertainment or the nighttime entertainment as this was all in Spanish also the bar staff tended to leave the English guests just waiting and serve the Spanish guests first

On the occasions that guests were just walking in and not having the towels I assumed that they hadn’t paid.

It is geared as a hotel for Spanish holidaymakers so in terms of the entertainment most of entertainment is in Spanish and I think this an area that could be looked at

It was so loud in the evening as many quests wasn't happy.

If you want a quiet relaxing hotel, Best Sabinal is not for you, both spanish adults and children were rowdy, police being called on one occasion and spaniard guests extremely rude.

but very much catered for the Spanish guests and not English.

The majority of guests at the hotel are Spanish and it’s rare to see other English families.

As everyone else has said the majority of guests are Spanish.

I did think that maybe 33% of guests were foreign, from all over Europe and the entertainment should have been directed to a more international audience.

but outside round the pool and bar  it had never been cleaned this was 10 30 in the morning  bins were  overflowing  with what is going on in the world right now this is unacceptable  to me this should be clean before  guests start coming down around the pool very disappointed

Mostly spanish holidaymakers who were rude and ignorant throughout the holiday.

Going to the restaurant was such a stressful experience due to the sheer volume of people, it was so noisy you couldn't hear yourself think, you could never get a table, the staff are so over worked the restaurant is not big enough for the amount of guests.

Negative points - poor welcome on arriving.

The Entertainment was poor for the British, it was all Spanish.

They did run out of ice creams and the alternatives were in poor condition, pity.

The poor staff were rushed off their feet.

Room very poor, no thinking re cupboards and why 2 massive queen beds?.

The night time entertainment is unfortunately poor, to the point that after a few nights we didn't even bother to go and watch it.

The soundproofing was poor, could hear coughing and sneezing from the next room very clearly.

His manner is very poor and bordering on ignorance.

however were poor quality, often stained and on occasions not replaced when left for exchange.

The evening entertainment was poor, seemed to be more geared up to Spanish pensioners.

however, coverage in our room was very poor and hardly worked - we could get no connection at all on the balcony.

This combined with the noise from the children enjoying themselves and a very poor sound system for the entertainment which is situated right in the middle of it all makes for a very un-relaxing time and one literally can't hear oneself speak.

The food in general was poor,cold, very few vegatables and those overcooked, very little choice and breakfast was worse.

I have to agree that this time I found the entertainment on some nights to be very poor, especially when they have Bingo followed by a kiddies disco with no children wanting to take part.

That was the good aspects, In general the service in both the dining room & bar was very poor, generally we waited an average of 15 minutes to order a drink at dinner, one meal we never got served at all, the bar was not much better, in fact we stopped using the bar, and left the hotel for coffee & drinks after our dinner.

Rooms are clean and comfortable and all have a fridge in which is handy.

We had an excellent clean room over looking pool and sea,(room 418).

We had a large,clean room on first floor that had 2 large beds,  bath with shower, (however, shower head miniscule) sunbeds on balcony.

Little fella with glasses who I think works the night shift tried to explain what has happening, he subsequently ran off in a huff like some sort of petulant child and left the poor cleaners to try and sort.

The evening entertainment was very poor, not a lot of people even turned up to watch it.

Reception staff are poor at dealing with queries.

Overall, probably a poor choice on our part.

By the time the mini disco (and following ad hoc singing and dancing) is over the adults get an hour or so of some poor tribute act or a quiz.

Most of the time the food was only just warm and and there was a poor selection at the salad bar.

Also the choice for the children was extremely poor.

2 star entertainment wow so poor it let the hotel down.

however, the food in the Buffet of an evening was poor.

When the hotel’s website promoted a “unique experience”, I did not expect it to be a poor one.

More like 4 star hotel .food plates are never clean enough,foods are not great as you expected, very poor spa option(just bubbly water)if you planing to go sea for swimming water is to dark and sand too stoney, it’ is   not for couples more like family.

The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the speciality restaurant, the Asian was very disappointing and the food was poor, so much so we cancelled our reservation at the Italian the next night and enjoyed the buffet instead.

Entertainment was poor or perhaps not my cup of tea.

but other than that it was pretty poor and painful to watch!

The ‘professional’ acts we did see (the Disney show, a dance crew and the Spanish dancing) were really poor more suited to a 3 star hotel.

The hotel has tweaked a few things since the last visit for example the wi if was very poor last time

however dated (poor shower) and impossible to sleep before midnight due to the entertainment (not suitable for families with very young children).

The food was just one more part of the hotel that was just not  acceptable for a 4 star, this hotel at best could be considered a poor and very tired 3 star.

Wouldn't recommend this Hotel, staff not  helpful, poor quality of sleep due to lack of soundproofing in rooms.

We booked through tui and its very poor they didn't tell us.

but for the price it should of been included, I mean I asked for a bottle of beer and got told it wasn't included, now that's poor.

Only comment would be the AC units are outdated and don't work properly and the food was off poor quality with little choice for the kids.

Restaurants / food - main restaurant in my opinion, was poor.

Staff was not friendly or helpful in any way, we tried to book the Italian restaurant several days on site as the food was just so poor in the main buffet restaurant barring in mind it was 20 euro for adults and 10 for kids and all they was doing was sending us to reception they was sending us back to the restaurant

Alcohol drinks made with cheap alkohol (if are with TUI) with poor choice.

But the dinners were low quality in our opinion, foods often mislabelled, poor cuts of meat etc.

The food was extremely poor with very little choice and repetitive day after day.

but the whole week there wasn’t a decent meal on at lunch or in the evening very little choice and it seemed low quality meat, and you had to make sure the meat they where cooking was done as was twice served pink pork, if it wasn’t for the poor food choice and quality it would have been 5* but to go a whole week without getting it right once is shocking

The food was both poor in choice and quality.

There was only 2 al a carte restaurants open during our visit, the Mediterranean which was really poor and basically the same food you can get off the Buffett and the Italian which was much better.

Other hotel negatives: dirty carpets, poor quality buffet food, a four-star hotel should have four-star food, very small food selection, Hotel rooms are very small despite that we were paying extra to get better room, not enough sunbeds in the pool, constant problem finding free ones, strategically very bad placing of chairs and tables in front of the main stage what consequently caused that people passing from one part to the other part of the hotel obstructed others vision, very stuffy in the gym, you cannot play ball or use inflatable items in the pool even these little ones.

Mains arrived and oh dear it was a cross between Japanese and poor Chinese 

Very weird flavours and neither me or my husband could stomach them - random mix of chicken and sweet / savoury sauces neither resembled Chinese of Japanese food served with chips and salad !

The paving round the pool areas needs a bit of tlc as it’s breaking up in places and little bits of concrete/stone making it uncomfortable in bare feet

but the main problem everything was cold totally lost my appetite and felt unwell.

although plentiful is cold and undercooked (raw chicken) one day also pork and more pork in unidentifiable sauces no idea what it was as no label.

so basically cold bacon , cold hash browns and cold sausages.

The staff were constantly clearing and cleaning the tables and we never  had a problem finding one

The food was disgusting always cold, if you like pork for lunch and dinner everyday you would probably get by

I had some chicken soup one night it was stone cold and had hard boiled eggs in it?

although freezing cold, and 6ft deep all round, with no rails to ho,d onto, so this put people off from going in as they could not put their feet down.

The bigger pool in this area ranged from 1.2m to 2m All pools are freshwater and where quite cold especially on the windy days - what I did love was the fact that inflatables weren’t allowed in the pools, after other holidays having what seemed to be hundreds of unicorns & Flamingo’s etc getting in the way I was thankful of this.

but can get very windy and cold at nite this time of year would not go again

The food was cold in the restaurant and bland.

The food in the restaurant was always cold and as described previously was extremely noisy.

I never found the food to be cold or undercooked as per some reviews.

This was cold when we used the outdoor snack bar a real disappointment.

Lost 1 star due to the fridge in our room not working despite reporting it 3 times.

Once cleaned by ourselves we couldn’t find a cup to drink out of , the people in the room were like locusts all food had gone and there were large ques for every thing, the poor staff we run off there feet trying to clear tables and one poor chef had to cook eggs for Huddersfield of people in his own, wasn’t there fault they tryed there best!

but would suggest the sound system needs turning down and food kept hot enough to eat, you shouldn't need to provide a microwave.

however let down by the food , most days was barely warm , microwaves are available .

If you wanted piping hot meal you had to put it in microwave .

but goes next door that should raise the red flags.and even if you mention  something to  a tui rep it's either ring this number or go on the app.its such a shame the last bit of our holiday  was so loud and uncomfortable. Apparently  mid June until end September  80% Spanish  holiday makers ,according to english bar owners(just like bits in butlins,never been  myself  )

On check in you get a cup per each AI person, you have to wait in long queues to get 1 drink per person and have to keep revisiting the bar with your empty cup to get another drink, which was really annoying.

Not an English tea bag anywhere sadly and no kettle in rooms.

Our only quibble would be that if would have been great to have a kettle in the room,

Bar: have to give tickets in once in exchange for a plastic cup that is used throughout the day (they do change them for drinks, or alternatively you can fill your own from a small selection, if all inclusive) You can either get tickets back nightly or just rinse and use the next day.

This hotel is the cleanest hotel I have been to the food is absolutely wonderful and I am so fussy with my food lovely friendly staff there down falls too the hotel is solely catered for Spanish people the entertainment is in Spanish the animation is Spanish most of the holiday makers are too they take over this hotel and at weekends it is swarming with them you have to queue for ages for drinks because there is only one bar they don’t ever open the other lovely bar they have to people who are little older who want a quiet drink

but the hall ways all wanted carpets replaced now we will go to the restaurant .most of food cold even if it came from kitchen also putting new food on to old food ran out of butter and eggs some days microwave turntable not working so you had to keep moving plate but food was a bit better fri night sat sun but still cold pool area not washed down at all beds sprayed 2to3 times a week the only bar open was where they did the entertainment at some times 15 to 20 min to get one then next day 1 to 2 but glasses where mostly hot when you got a drink  they said couldn’t open inside due to government restrictions???

In the wisdom of the hotel, they placed the snack sandwich toaster directly under the smoke alarm which caused the alarms to go off!!

We paid €1 each for a plastic cup which you could swap back to a token at the end of a day by the pool and then swap for a cup again the next day.

but ok once in !We weren't informed about the plastic cup system( hard reusable or swap)!

Rooms are clean nice and big ,shame you cant unlock them from inside and our 3 yrs old daughter left the room twice and , you dont have acces tol restaurant before 7:30 to have a coffe !!!

Rooms are cleaned quite early which is good so after breakfast we always got back to a clean room.

Our room was spotless, bed sheets were clean and fresh and the cleaning ladies work really hard and are very friendly.

Our family of 11 people stayed here week commencing 16th Aug, 5 rooms on floor 3, clean well kept rooms with a mini fridge just big enough for some water and milk.

Upon arriving at the hotel me and my friend were well looked after and were sorted with our rooms very quickly, the rooms were very clean and were cleaned every day with fresh bedding and towels.

Well what can I say , “what a dump”the hotel is filthy with what I can only say are filthy corridors with stained dirty carpets walls skirting boards , my room 488 had a broken light next to the bed with bare live wires showing, a cracked shower try that could slice your feet, the restaurant is what I would consider being equivalent to a staff canteen in a dodgy factory, we only went in once

but that was no issue for us, although they smoke a lot.

To then be called a liar by the hotel management is disgusting.

Corridors in need of renovation as carpets badly stained and the smell of smoke when walking to your room is disgusting.
