The location is stunning on the edge of the Agean, the hotel is beautiful and scrupulously clean, the service is warm and helpful and the breakfast is truly amazing.

The handmade breakfast was very delicious and tasty, we are going to miss it a lot.

The service was top notch, from everything you would want at breakfast, to providing you with towels and a beach bag everyday, and snacks, food and drink if you just wanted to chill in house (which i highly recommend).

We then asked her about a boat trip we had seen on the internet and she just said that they didn’t deal with the company without even offering to ring for availability.

At one point, I had a minor crisis involving my phone and a gypsy scam at a local beach.

The owners then went as far as calling an ATV/quad rental business and arranged our taxi and rental.

but i would say a torch (or like me use your phone) is needed for the path down to the main road.

At times I had to use my mobile phone as a torch!

That was a problem because I didn't have an international cell phone and I needed to make calls out of the hotel.

On the day we were meant to arrive at Milos, I received a call from a lady from the hotel (I reckon the wife of the owner) informing us that the driver wont be able to pick us up from the port (as we had arranged) due to sickness and suggested to take a cab.

On 3 separate calls over 3 days to the lady at the desk (I presume the owner's wife), no progress was made to fix this issue.

although the peace was spoilt  on a few occasions by some quite rude  American/ Canadian families who could not keep their kids under control.

but she was so aggressive, rude, and that was our first impression of her when we were there for 5 minutes.

The owner was really rude to me even before the room change problems, We sat in the lobby for at least an hour in the morning before anyone bothered to take care of us.

However, we found a bit rude her request to spend some time at the port, maybe grab some bite or a coffee, as the room wont be ready when we would arrive at the hotel.

They were also very kind when I asked for a darker room, because our first had a window on the door and we like the room completely dark.

We solved this by keeping the bathroom window open and the bathroom door closed
- The toiletries provided were a bit odd - they seemed old.

The bathroom was also spacious and our only criticism was that the shower tray was curved and the curtain was on straight rails, which meant that all the water ran off the curtain and soaked the floor.

We just didn't  enjoy the shower - curtains close up on you and you end up having very little space to shower.

The shower curtain did not prevent the water from getting everywhere!

however, to our chagrin, the shower did not have a curtain.

It was so lovely to enjoy a delicious homemade breakfast right on the water every morning.

Our accommodation was airy and comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious, the location is fantastic, and I can't say enough about the incredibly gracious and kind couple who own Nefeli.

In the breakfast room you are greeted warmly and offered various choices from the menu and can choose for a tray to take to your room/terrace/gardens if you like.

We liked the location, the room, the view, and the breakfast.

Fantastic rooms, friendly ownership, great breakfast (included), and beautiful grounds.

Each morning we had the best breakfast of our entire 14 day trip before setting off for the day.

The breakfasts were beautiful which were ordered of a menu each day.

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the owners could not do enough to help.

I had wonderful time in Nefeli Sunset studios, the location is front sea and you can have wonderful sunsets and breakfast facing the sea.

but not least the wonderful breakfast  and the great care and professionalism of all the hotel staff.

It’s a great location, very close to the village of Pollonia which has lots of delicious restaurants to choose from.

The daily breakfast was phenomenal (unlimited food using the freshest ingredients) and they even accommodated us for our early morning departure flight.

The location is perfect , the rooms are simply decorated, clean and fresh, the property is immaculate, the breakfast are wonderful .

I would say the only downfall with our specific room was that one side of the bed was up against the wall.

The only negative was having to climb off the base of the bed so as not to wake my wife up- the bed was against the wall.

The bed itself had one side up against the wall.

I only have two complaints about the room-- mosquitoes and the thin walls.

The room was basic and apart from one chair and the bed (which is enclosed on 3 walls) there was no place to sit.

My only complaints would be that the room seemed unusually buggy, we had to hold the shower head above our heads (it wasn't mounted on the wall), and they didn't change the towels daily.

The owner Katerina very pleasant the staff at the breakfast Sophie was very helpful and polite.

Breakfasts were more than we ever expected - a fabulous buffet with local pies, cakes, fruit, eggs - everything you could imagine, and dear Sophia made certain everyone was well cared for.

The bed is gorgeous, I slept like a princess, Nice litle balcony, fridge, friendly staff, beach towel to land and a beach bag, an exeptional breakfast if your in for sweets and traditional greek cousine.

The most pleasant surprise was the breakfast which was the best we have ever had.

We stayed her for three nights and found the place to be well appointed:  central location, great views of the port, clean, spacious room, friendly staff and great breakfasts.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was also very good.

The breakfast buffet was astonishing - lavish assortment of Greek traditional foods, as well as other things to satisfy most tastes.

!Freshly squeezed orange juice,bacon and eggs to order,omeletts and all the works!!

They make all of the food for the huge breakfast that they offer, that is so delicious and also a great way to get to try new and traditional foods of the area.

We were made to feel very very special and as for the breakfasts - rice pudding no less each day - amongst a huge array of goodies.

I will try to make a list:

1) Rooms not soundproofed.

However curtains are extremely thin so are woken very early and air conditioning makes a very loud crackling noise intermittently.

PS the air conditioning in our room was rather noisy.

When I had to take an ambulance to the island clinic where no doctor was working due to it being a holiday, our travel agent contacted the hotel to try and help us because we were supposed to leave the next day.

Other reviews mention the noise from the children.

It can be a bit noisy if your room faces the port, as there is a playground right outside your patio that will be full of loud playing children till at least 10 pm, and there can be carousing people out and about by the port until very late.

but it can be a little noisy at night with a play area for children and a restaurant below.

The only drawback was that the busy harbour can be a bit noisy.

There is a small children's playground just opposite the hotel which could be noisy, and I assume there would be more general noise and bustle later in the season.

but noisy at night time from the port - no fault of the hotel.

The location is very noisy throughout the night, which perhaps was worse as I was awake on the floor.

We stayed there during a holiday and the town square was a bit lively at night, so if you like to go to sleep early it may be noisy.

Unfortunately our air conditioning was very noisy.

It is quite a loud location and gave us some problems sleeping.

We slept with open window all night and was not troubled by any noise,

The outdoor restaurant downstairs does get very busy and noisy at night,

However our superior sea view room had a very small bathroom.

The rooms are typical for Europe, with single beds, small bathroom, etc.

The bathroom was very tiny and the drain hole, something you don't normally even notice, caught my attention as it was filthy.

the room was very small and the shower had the horrible plastic curtain that sticks to your bum.

The attractive blue-tiled bathroom was a bit small with a sink only and very little counter or shelf space.

The bathrooms are tiny and very not-posh.

It has it all: breathtaking views, amazing hospitality (shout out to our pal Alexandros), great breakfasts, nice rooms, private beach and is very close to lots of beaches.

The nice breakfast is very pleasant and also offering undisputed view.

The breakfast was delicious and the view from the restaurant can't be beat.

We included breakfast in our package and it was really worth it; a good sized breakfast with plenty of pastries to add in and a lovely morning welcome from staff each day.

We also recommend the restaurant with delicious Greek fusion food.

Having breakfast or dinner in the terrace of the restaurant is a dream.

There is a restaurant at the resort with a great breakfast.

Also the resort has excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner!

The food in the restaurant, both breakfast, lunch and dinner, was top notch.

And if you are staying here, bonus, as the breakfast is excellent - especially loved the delicious yoghurt brough in from the mountains in northern Greece.

We stayed in both suites during our stay and found that the pictures on the website don't do them justice - they have been so beautifully designed and exceeded all expectations. We started every morning with a delicious breakfast (which included a delicious homemade orange and kiwi marmalade!)

The delicious breakfast, especially enriched with yogurt, honey, fresh cakes and Dimitra’s home-made marmalades, is the best way to start a day of sun and sea discovering the incomparable beaches of Milos, some of which of a heartbreaking beauty in the wild framework of multicoloured rocks and intense fragrance of native vegetation.

The hotels restaurant is rated as one of the best on Milos, and their breakfasts were delicious.

Dimitra was still so welcoming, Marina as well for the breakfast and all the family was helpful and nice.

I was there just after a storm so the beach was just a sliver due to the water levels.

My husband and I arrived late at night due to a very late ferry.

We found the driving on Milos challenging due to steepness with abrupt switchbacks and
rough road conditions.

The only downside is you really need a car due to the location.

Also there is no swimming pool which is a major downside (they have plenty of space).

Breakfast is included, and grandmother cooks a special dish each morning. No pool and you cannot walk to the beach (unless you are willing to walk a 2 kilometers on a hill.)

We also had a great breakfast and dinner plus we had to leave extra early so they gave us a special breakfast that kept overnight so we did t head to airport hungry.

As it was end of season, the head of housekeeping, Sergio, seemed consistently bothered when bringing our breakfast and always stressed.

Rooms are very well appointed with breakfast offered either on your personal balcony or the hotel terrace.

We will miss the outstanding breakfasts and seeing Sergio every day.

With only 14 rooms, a restaurant, cocktail bar, and breakfast included (with the choice of it being served in your room or on the patio overlooking the sea), you really have the best of it all.

The breakfasts brought to the room, which we ate on our balcony, were incredible.

There were great breakfast each day, with many Greek specialties.

One reservation, which is entirely our own fault, this hotel is not close to other areas of the island and we were told it is 18 euro cab into the port which is the closest place to go for dinner.
