This place is a wonderful hotel, right in the middle of the beach walk from end to end of the cococabana, I would say, best location, and service, we were completely impressed by Lucas and Matheus, while everyone was great, Lucas and Matheus made our week stay above and beyond, from morning breakfast with Lucas to afternoon drinks by the pool with either Lucas or Matheus.

Breakfast is more than ample to satisfy any taste or appetite.

Breakfast was five star: a wide selection of choices and great coffee.

This is a comfortable modern hotel in an excellent location right on Copacabana beach.

Yes there was only one lift working it was not an issue really
But I would say check your bill we found a smoking charge added they didn’t point it out and we don’t smoke so we were a bit outraged requested second check and it was removed from bill  .

If your travel company lives on a different floor than you, you cannot easily visit their room, because your elevator key card only permits you to visit your own floor.

only one comment, they charge the stay either when you book or at the check in+ instead of standard procedure> they should charge at the check out.

There is iPhone charging points so you can simply plug in the USB adapter.

Adaptors can also be borrowed from Front Desk to charge shavers, etc.

In the room I could only locate 1 electrical outlet for charging which is too little these days.

Also note coffee reasonable price tea very expensive - we ordered tea for 2 to our room and was charged £12.

With 2 people we had 2 phones and 2 iPads so getting things charged was a challenge.

My only problem is one night I tried to bring a female friend and a security guard tried to charge me for a guest when a night before I had friends over with no problem so I thought that was kinda dishonest.

although you can still order fried eggs they are charged for.

The door card never worked, so on multiple occasions every single day for 5 nights during our stay we had to come downstairs to get a new card.

Unfortunately, till this day i did not received any post cards.

You think I have got this charges addressed?!

The only complaint is there weren't any outlets near the bed for charging phones, etc.

At check out staff didn't  even looked at my face, instead kept talking to a coworker, the only time he acknowledged me it was when he needed my credit card!

However, the hotel had crammed the dining room full with tables so it felt extremely uncomfortable and the queues to the small buffet table were just too long. Queues to the two, already inadequate and downright scary elevators were long, and I actually ended up taking the stairs (a long and very sweaty work-out!)

The only thing I did not like too much was the elevator system.

The coffee at breakfast is always dreadful, the internet is rather flaky, and the lifts somewhat unreliable.

Out of the two elevators only ONE was working.

The lift clanked constantly all night so I couldn’t get to sleep.

Usually there are mirrors near the lifts so you can check what you look like before going out,

Our only complain is that one of the elevators was out if service for most of our stay, and the bathroom in one of our rooms did not want to flush at times.

The lift was a bit small and rickety and not good for persons with claustrophobia.

I was given Room 1203 which was right next to the hotel elevator so it was quite noisy with people coming and going all night.

even though we heard others talking about the elevator.

On 3 of the 4 days during our stay, my key stopped working which necessitated catching the lift and going back down to Reception.

Plus, you have to use your room key to get the elevator to go up and that didn't always work right.

Only downside was all the rooms are quite close to the elevator so if you have noisy neighbours they might keep you up

At the rooftop bar, Jailton is a wonderful bartender and always has a smile on his face and makes our rooftop dinners very enjoyable!

All the staff were super helpful and friendly, and all the guys at the rooftop bar were fabulous people!

Hotel is very well positioned and has a great roof top bar with fabulous views.

but for us it was the roof top bar area and bar staff Jailton who made our stay fantastic.

The rooftop bar has an attentive staff, amazing views by its small pool, nice drinks, and some yummy snacks and even meals.

Also, I had the best time at the rooftop bar which has an awesome view of Rio.

The hotel offers COVID 19 test in your room if you need one to fly back home.

There would have been potential for so much more and, considering what we were paying for the room during this time, it felt like the hotel was just trying to maximise their profits to the greatest degree possible.

The hotel rooms are very clean, professional to get work done if you need, have a safe, extra blankets if your husband freezes you like mine, wonderful shampoo and conditioner and kept daily.

The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are large, clean and have large bathrooms with a stand alone glass enclosed shower.

The room was very nice: clean, AC worked flawlessly and it had a stunning view of the Copacabana.

There were a few people who seemed dismissive

though we don’t speak Portugese, there are employees who speak English and are very informative.

The staff is very friendly and always eager to help.

Mr Ney in particular was most helpful in sorting out my flights and registration formalities under Corona restictions.

ROOFTOP POOL/PATIO AND BAR:
The rooftop is open until 10:30pm and it provides great views for Copacabana beach, Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf.

Great proximity to tourist attractions like Sugarloaf Mountain and the famous colorful Esclaria de Salaron and the Ipenemea beach.

This Hotel is also within easy reach of both Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain and of course the famous Copacabana beach is literally over the road.

Easy access to Ipanema beach by bus and shirt taxi to sugarloaf.

This hotel is in a good position for copacabana beach and sugarloaf mountain

Also short taxi to Sugarloaf (20R or so max).

For Sugarloaf Mountain, we took a bus one block back from the beach which dropped us off 5 minutes from the cable car entrance.

Smaller All Glass, modern, centrally located, oceanfront hotel, across street from beach with spectacular Copacabana/Sugarloaf & fortress views.

For a view of Sugarloaf Mountain we needed to go to the rooftop terrace.

You can see from Sugarloaf all the way to Corcovado.

You get a view from Leme (with sugarloaf in the background) down to the end of Copacabana.

Ensure to request a beach view otherwise you will be looking at the picturesque favelas.

but the Isabel gets the edge because of the incredible views you get of both the beach and of Sugerloaf Mountain in the distance.

After mentioning this, she stepped to the back and returned to say she had upgraded my room to a prime view of the beach and mountainside.

but it has the usual amenities in the room including safe and in the hotel  such as spa (jacuzzi/ steam and sauna);swimming pool on the fourth floor and a very warm dip pool on the rooftop with amazing views of the beach and sugar loaf mountain.

There's 2 pools available; both have nice views of the beach and the ocean.

The room we stayed in was large with all facilities and a beautiful view of the coast.

A huge selection at the breakfast buffet and a very nice dinner restaurant that overlooks the beach.

Our room looked refreshed, we had a higher room floor and a wonderful view of the beach.

In addition, the room offered a spectacular view over the Beach.

We stayed in an ocean view king room and did not regret spending the money - being so far up Copacabana meant we had a view right back over the beach in addition to being able to cross the road to relax at the beach.

My silver status was recognized and i felt like a celebrity, the infinity pool had mesmerizing view of beach, sugar loaf and The Christ..Perfect vacation.

Got an amazing view from the 33th floor of the Copacabana beach and Cristo Redentor.

The hotel offers a direct Copacabana beach service (just opposite side) with their contracted partner Flavio, also he and his people are very nice and welcoming!

but spacious part of Copacabana Beach, very safe location with a great rooftop pool; staff was extremely accommodating and courteous.

The hotel is very close by to a lot of the famous attractions around Rio and of course, since it’s beach front, easy access to copacabana beach.

We really enjoyed our stay because of the close location to the Copacabana beach, sugar loaf and close location to Christ the Redeemer statue.

Our room was 3601, here we got the stunning panoramic view of Copacabana Beach and The Christ Redeemer of Corcovado!

Great location directly opposite Copacabana beach.

The location, as promised on the website, was perfect – right in the middle of Copacabana beach.

Right in the center of copacabana beach and towering over 34 stories the rooms have a magnificent view of the beach in both directions and we made sure to get a corner room so we actually saw Corcovado mt and Christ the Redeemer as well as the beach.

There was a jiucer available also if you wanted to make your own smoothies The restaurant was set on the 4th floor with a panoramic view of the Copacabana beach, what a way to start the day looking at that view!

However location on Copacabana beach was excellent.

Was told I would have a room with a sea view omg did I, from a very wide window I had the most amazing view of Copacabana Beach, Sugar Loaf Mountain and Christ The Redeemer, mind blowing.

Hotel has a great location on Copacabana Beach and is on the route for tourist site seeing pickup.

The hotel is just in front of Copacabana beach.

Even if the hotel is pretty dated and needs some renovation, the rooms looks good and well maintenented.

The accommodations were good despite looking a little worn out.

The overall appearance of the hotel is slightly dated

but below the variety of many other comparable places
- No minibar on the room (I am aware this is a Hilton policy lately), but still annoys me 

Pros: 
- Good location with front row to Copacabana beach
- Top rooftop area with great design, good drinks and DJ on the weekend

Overall, way overpriced and no Hilton standard in any regard, they should really consider their investment policy - competitors like Fairmont, Fasano and smaller boutiques offer much better value for money.

A curious detail is that almost all rooms are different each other and looks like they have been awkwardly arranged by buying objects that are out of  the context of the design of the room.

This hotel has seen better days - it’s badly in need of a complete interior overhaul, with dated and depressing room and common area decor and a pretty crap breakfast buffet.

Cons: old and worn out property, crowded/busy; cheap/broken furniture and furnishings, noisy air-conditioning in room, small and dirty pools, poor breakfast (no bacon or sausage, a small egg station with one attendant for hundreds of guests, poor presentation/variety/quality of food); poor room service (our dinner order was delivered in a paper bag, like take-out food), 

As far as overall quality and amenities, this is really a 3 star property, maximum.

On the roofdeck is another pool, tiny trendy style, next to a sleek loungey area.

but is actually very outdated on the inside.
