but most specially, don't miss the delicious caipirinha made by Dimas in the foyer bar.

At the rooftop bar, Jailton is a wonderful bartender and always has a smile on his face and makes our rooftop dinners very enjoyable!

Great breakfast and a nice bar at the roof top with the best view of Copacabana Beach.

The rooftop bar (and pool) offer lovely views of the beach.

Location is obviously excellent for Copacabana beach and the shops and European-style restaurants and bars in the green zone.

All around just wonderful, the pool was so clean and refreshing, the bar and drinks so tasty, I just cannot say enough.

The rooftop pool and bar area is pretty nice, with friendly bar attendants and spectacular views up and down the beach.

The rooftop bar is great for sitting day or night

The pool top bar is a great spot with a sideon view of Christ the Redeemer.

The pool and bar had a great view and the food was very good for the normal bar food fare!

Roof top bar has the best view and best caipirinhas
3.

All the staff were super helpful and friendly, and all the guys at the rooftop bar were fabulous people!

The bar and pool on the roof Top are excellent and prepares good drinks and snacks. a great way to enjoy the beach view if you don't really like to be at the beach :)

The pool area on the roof is fairly small with facilities for sunbathing with a pool bar.

but I believe is one of the places to come back and explore even more of Rio De Janeiro and meet again nice Brazilian friends it really awesome
Oh and cocktails is really nice at the top of the roof from bar with swimming pool
Thank you Amigos

Position on the beach is great and there are a multitude of restaurants and beachfront bars on hand.

The rooftop small pool is nice and bar too.

), in a restaraunt overlooking the beach.

What can I say, I booked a partial beach view and ended up with the beach to my left and Christ the Redeemer to my right, I guess that will do!!!!

We pre-booked this hotel for our Carnaval week stay
Location is great , right on Copacabana beach with views of the beach from our room and from the rooftop pool area

Generally friendly and helpful staff

The rooms are large and comfortable

Really good service, great, clean, quiet room with a side view of the beach.

The room is big and has a ocean and beach views.

Our room was really nice with a side view of the beach (502) it was spacious and comfortable bed.

Good location, right on the sea front with great views of the beach.

Clean property and rooms, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, great rooftop view, and most rooms have a full or partial view of the beach.

The breakfast buffet is substantial and is in a beautiful location overlooking the beach.

The location is perfect, in the middle of Copacabana beach and most of the rooms offer a beach view.

Roof bar & swimming pool provides wonderful views of the beach & the city.

but had a beautiful view over the beach and ocean.

Our room had a spectacular view of the beach and the free breakfast was delicious.

The rooftop bar and swimming pool is the standout feature of this hotel- the views of the beach etc.

I choose Arena Copacabana hotel because has the best view of the beach .

Across Avenida Atlantica is Copacabana beach - great location.

The view from the room is of Copacabana Beach, with no obstructions.

Love the rooftops views the service is located front of copacabana beach great customer service.

We'd specifically booked a hotel that would have a view to Copacabana beach.

This hotel is located in the heart of Copacabana Beach and just across the street from the beach.

although the night it is way cooler in temperature and the view in the evening over Copacabana beach is awesome.

Its represents excellent value for money given its location on Copacabana beach and is, in general, very comfortable.

But, after a lot of stress, I managed to enjoy the beautiful view of the
Copacabana beach.

The top floor has a panoramic view of Copacabana beach and you can see the sunrise in the morning.

Stayed three nights/ Hotel looks onto Copacabana beach.

This is a comfortable modern hotel in an excellent location right on Copacabana beach.

The main plus of this hotel is it's position right on the Copacabana beach and yet the rooms were not noisy.

A great place to stay, really top location and view to the Copacabana beach.

The location of the hotel is a major plus point with it being right opposite the Copacabana Beach.

Room was comfortable and our view was amazing looking right out over Copacabana beach.

Located right in the middle and in front of Copacabana Beach, this modern hotel is a great value.

Fantastic location on Copacabana beach and reception staff were very helpful with recommendations.

Furthermore, it took forever to book the New Year's party package. We also had to send our credit card details by E-MAIL (!!)

Felt safe security in the foyer lovely roof terrace view of the beach and Christ the redeemer lovely poo
Yes there was only one lift working it was not an issue really
But I would say check your bill we found a smoking charge added they didn’t point it out and we don’t smoke so we were a bit outraged requested second check and it was removed from bill .

If your travel company lives on a different floor than you, you cannot easily visit their room, because your elevator key card only permits you to visit your own floor.

only one comment, they charge the stay either when you book or at the check in+ instead of standard procedure> they should charge at the check out.

2) was charged for 2 bottles of ordinary water

There is iPhone charging points so you can simply plug in the USB adapter.

Adaptors can also be borrowed from Front Desk to charge shavers, etc.

In the room I could only locate 1 electrical outlet for charging which is too little these days.

Also note coffee reasonable price tea very expensive - we ordered tea for 2 to our room and was charged £12.

With 2 people we had 2 phones and 2 iPads so getting things charged was a challenge.

My only problem is one night I tried to bring a female friend and a security guard tried to charge me for a guest when a night before I had friends over with no problem so I thought that was kinda dishonest.

although you can still order fried eggs they are charged for.

The door card never worked, so on multiple occasions every single day for 5 nights during our stay we had to come downstairs to get a new card.

Unfortunately, till this day i did not received any post cards.

You think I have got this charges addressed?!

The only complaint is there weren't any outlets near the bed for charging phones, etc.

At check out staff didn't even looked at my face, instead kept talking to a coworker, the only time he acknowledged me it was when he needed my credit card!

However, the hotel had crammed the dining room full with tables so it felt extremely uncomfortable and the queues to the small buffet table were just too long. Queues to the two, already inadequate and downright scary elevators were long, and I actually ended up taking the stairs (a long and very sweaty work-out!)

The only thing I did not like too much was the elevator system.

The coffee at breakfast is always dreadful, the internet is rather flaky, and the lifts somewhat unreliable.

Out of the two elevators only ONE was working.

The lift clanked constantly all night so I couldn’t get to sleep.

Usually there are mirrors near the lifts so you can check what you look like before going out,

Our only complain is that one of the elevators was out if service for most of our stay, and the bathroom in one of our rooms did not want to flush at times.

The lift was a bit small and rickety and not good for persons with claustrophobia.

I was given Room 1203 which was right next to the hotel elevator so it was quite noisy with people coming and going all night.

even though we heard others talking about the elevator.

On 3 of the 4 days during our stay, my key stopped working which necessitated catching the lift and going back down to Reception.

Plus, you have to use your room key to get the elevator to go up and that didn't always work right.

Only downside was all the rooms are quite close to the elevator so if you have noisy neighbours they might keep you up

Hotel is very well positioned and has a great roof top bar with fabulous views.

but for us it was the roof top bar area and bar staff Jailton who made our stay fantastic.

The rooftop bar has an attentive staff, amazing views by its small pool, nice drinks, and some yummy snacks and even meals.

Also, I had the best time at the rooftop bar which has an awesome view of Rio.

We loved the rooftop bar which gives terrific views of Copacabana beach.

The roof top bar is very good with stunning view.

The roof top bar has an amazing view of Copacabana .

Roof top bar and pool are has spectacular views.

All these photos are taken from the rooftop bar.

The rooftop bar offers a magnificent view of the beach particularly at sunset.

There was a roof top bar with a small splash pool should you wish to cool down.

We had a nice time at this hotel, the rooms are okay, the breakfast is great, the location is in the middle of Copacabana,

Rooms were clean and housekeeping was great.

Had a beach view room ,saw the sun riset everyday.

The room is very clean and new and the sea side view is wonderful.

The rooms were confortable and breakfast also good.

The room was comfortable with great spaces nice beds and the decorations was amazing, working area in the room for business in town and the staff always friendly and showing the best willingness to help you out

The hotel offers COVID 19 test in your room if you need one to fly back home.

There would have been potential for so much more and, considering what we were paying for the room during this time, it felt like the hotel was just trying to maximise their profits to the greatest degree possible.

The hotel rooms are very clean, professional to get work done if you need, have a safe, extra blankets if your husband freezes you like mine, wonderful shampoo and conditioner and kept daily.

The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are large, clean and have large bathrooms with a stand alone glass enclosed shower.

The room was very nice: clean, AC worked flawlessly and it had a stunning view of the Copacabana.

The rooms are modern and very well kept; day and night.

Very clean, friendly staff, most speak English had beach front room

Our room faced the ocean which was an amazing view and the rooms were very nice clean and comfortable!

There were a few people who seemed dismissive

but the staff is the best thing, specially Dimas, Sueli, Rui, Baiano and Fabio.

Staff are very friendly and helpfull with all things ,such as tours ,directions and English is spoken very well ,buffe breakfast is included

They helped us with a variety of questions, always patient & smiling.

Excellent service from Mr.Emerson and Mr.Rui at the reception.

though we don’t speak Portugese, there are employees who speak English and are very informative.

The staff is very friendly and always eager to help.

Mr Ney in particular was most helpful in sorting out my flights and registration formalities under Corona restictions.

Lovely hotel, extremely helpful staff, perfect location.

They were very accommodating and friendly.

The staff is amazing they helped me while I was with locomotion problems.

He and his whole staff are each what a lot of hotels advertise,

Thanks to all at Reception, particularly Bruno and Felipe in reservations, especially during the "corona" period.

Taxi drivers are so polite and knowledgeable.

but, over all very professional, but also friendly and welcoming, when you are at a place for a week, having staff treat you like a friend really makes a difference, we will remember them both for the great service.

The maid staff was a delight and very efficient.

The view of Copacabana beach is just remarkable to look at (morning to night)

ROOFTOP POOL/PATIO AND BAR:
The rooftop is open until 10:30pm and it provides great views for Copacabana beach, Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf.

Great proximity to tourist attractions like Sugarloaf Mountain and the famous colorful Esclaria de Salaron and the Ipenemea beach.

This Hotel is also within easy reach of both Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain and of course the famous Copacabana beach is literally over the road.

Easy access to Ipanema beach by bus and shirt taxi to sugarloaf.

This hotel is in a good position for copacabana beach and sugarloaf mountain

Also short taxi to Sugarloaf (20R or so max).

For Sugarloaf Mountain, we took a bus one block back from the beach which dropped us off 5 minutes from the cable car entrance.

Smaller All Glass, modern, centrally located, oceanfront hotel, across street from beach with spectacular Copacabana/Sugarloaf & fortress views.

For a view of Sugarloaf Mountain we needed to go to the rooftop terrace.

Rooftop bar great views and photo opportunity of Copacabana and rest of Rio de Janeiro including Christ de Redemir and Sugarloaf Mountain

You can see from Sugarloaf all the way to Corcovado.

You get a view from Leme (with sugarloaf in the background) down to the end of Copacabana.

It has a great breakfast buffet, a great view of Copacabana, a great price, and a great location in the south zone.

Great location and amazing sea view. The breakfast was great as well
We come from Greece and it was our first time in Rio.

The location was perfect overlooking the Copababana beach.

Good breakfasts, nice variety, nice view from the canteen.

The price is good, in front of the Copabana Beach with Sea View.

The hotel is very modern and clean, the view was spectacular, and the beach is very clean. It feels great on bare feet :-)

- we'd splurged on a full sea-view/beach view

I had a partial Oceanview room and thought that the view was quite wonderful and the room was very comfortable and pleasant.

The view is amazing as well, rooftop bar is nice.

The hotel is also well placed for other restaurants, shopping centre, shops and staff plus beachside bars.

The breakfast is awesome, so are also the menu at the hotel and drinks in the bar.

The roof top bar great was great, good drinks selection and fantastic food, the view is pretty good too!

Nothing was too much trouble, every member of staff from Reception, cleaners, restaurant, bars, pool, beach etc were so happy to see you and help in anyway they could.

Amazingly located on Copacabana beach with the best views from the roof top pool which was super modern with a cool pool bar/restaurant serving great food and drinks.

We loved the rooftop terrace and bar, the food and drinks are delicious and the service excellent.

The pool / bar area is a particular highlight.

Really great hotel with exceptional staff and a particularly nice rooftop pool and bar area.

The burger in the roof top bar is good value for money.

My family and I will definitely be back, we had the best experience in food, room service, bar, pool and an amazing view.

do Carmo da Lapa do Desterro Museum, Buraco da Lacraia, Morro de Santa Teresa, Sala Cecília Meireles, Goiabeira, Mirante Do Leblon, Desbrava Rotas Turismo e Eventos, Lapa 40 Graus, Clube dos Democraticos, RIOHCTUR - História, Cultura e Turismo, Alto Lapa, Cana KrioK, Casa de Cultura Hombu - Lapa Theater, Isabell Erdmann - Lapa & Santa Teresa Tour, Lapa Irish Pub, Sinuca da Lapa, Solar de Grandjean de Montigny Museu PUC-Rio, Igreja do Sagrado Coraçaode Jesus, Parque Municipal do Penhasco Dois Irmãos, Rock Experience, Passeio Publico, Leviano Bar, Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro, Vivo Rio, Carioca da Gema, Café Cultural Sacrilégio, Carioca Aqueduct, Bossa Nova Mall, Improviso da Lapa, Teatro Odisseia, Circo Voador, Obelisco da Av.

The rooftop swimming pool and bar area too was great.

I sampled alot of PortoBays lunch, bar and dinner selections during my stay and

The hotel was clean, tidy, modern and had a fantastic rooftop pool and bar overlooking Copacabana.

The roof top bar and pool are a bonus as are the beach facilities.

The pool area has an amazing view and the service at the bar was very prompt.

A very nice modern hotel right opposite the famous Copacabana close to bars & restaurants.

Good location in copacabana , very nice staff at the beach service, i would recomend this hotell for the location and rom standard.

The location is beach front to Copacabana beach.

Again, the hotel Porto Bay, Rio International stands out with the best service and location in Rio de Janeiro.

Large room with balcony overlooking the beach.

It is close to shops restaurants the beach and all that you need for your stay.

Front desk, pool service, beach services are all perfect.

We stayed at the Porto bay hotel for 4 nights as part of a tour
The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything
Was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a deluxe room with a balcony view of Copacabana beach.

I expected more, compared with my experience in Porto Bay.

Very nice location directly at Copacobana beach with sunbed service, friendly stuff, good breakfast, comfortable beds and rooms, beautiful view from the balcony of top level suites, rooftop pool nice,

If you book a room with an ocean view you are guaranteed stunning views over Copacabana and Leme beach.

View of the beach from the room was amazing.

Situated in a great location with great views of the beach, the staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful and a lovely man on reception checked me in for my Latam airlines flight to our next destination and printed the boarding passes.

The beach hut crew looks after us and our belongings when we swim.

Great views from the balcony of Christ the Redeemer and Copacabana bay,
Friendly and helpful staff and a perfect location to explore Rio.

Whilst Ipanema is preferred for many - I still preferred the vibrancy of Copacabana with its many beach kiosks and drinking points around the cliffs at Leme.

We truly enjoyed staying in the balcony checking out people in the beach.

Location is very good, the tour busses for the attractions leave near by and the beach is across the street.

The hotel is fantastic, in a great location, right on Copacabana beach - I'd recommend a room with full (not side) beach view and balcony, it's really worth the little extra - you have superb views.

You can see Christ the redeemer, beach and the mountains.

Please tell your client when constructions are finished,
breakfast is very good by food and especially by the view to the beach and the service also is really engaged, and very important the lifts are really fast and in time

The balcony was nice and had a side view of the beach and it was nice to enjoy and drink and admire the view and the live music from a nearby bar.

Very clean rooms and communal spaces, great location, friendly staff, beautiful spacious rooms with great views of the city, the mountains and of course the beach and islands.

Very happy with our stay - well designed room with balcony overlooking the beach, excellent breakfast with some local treats and helpful and friendly staff.

Room: Perfect, great view over the beach, nice balcony and very clean.

Our room had a wonderful view of the beach and Christ the Redeemer statue in the distance.

Rooms are nicely decorated and many have a view of the beach and/or balcony.

The bar on the 20th floor, which we visited on our second evening, offers stunning views of the beach.

Staff was friendly and helpful and the bar on the pool level offers a beautiful view of the beach and surrounding hills.

Restaurant was on the 5th floor with panoramic views over the beach.

We had a side balcony room with great view of the beach.
