There was little hanging room even for only 3 nights stay and particularly with winter coats etc.

Our room was a bit small (no closet or dresser, there is a clothes hanging rack and shelf),

My only complaint was not enough hanging and storage space so we had to keep a lot in suitcases.

On the negative side, the room was really small with no closets.

The only problem was lack of closet and draw space in The room.

My only real gripe is that there is no storage in the room; we had an open hanging area with about 6 coathangers, and one shelf, between two adults.

First up this hotel had no closet,no dressers and was considered 4+ rating.

One thing I would say is that room we had was quite small and there isn't a lot of storage in the room, only a canvass wardrobe

Very little storage which meant only one of us could empty clothes and try to find space to put items.

but not large: bed, desk, open style rack/shelves for clothes and bathroom with full size shower. Room had a wall mounted TV, ihome clock radio, in-room safe and mini frig with complementary non-alcoholic beverages, or space to put your own F&B (with several min-marts and a supermarket within a 2 block walk.)

Towels were a hit and miss ~ some days no wash clothes, some days no hand towels.

Any longer might have been slightly challenging given the very limited places to hang and put clothes -

Easy to walk to Le Marais, the shopping area around Galeries Lafayette, and Montmartre.

Easy to get to so many sites, Le Marais District, Norte Dame, the Louvre, Galleria Lafayette.

You can walk to Châtelet Les Halles shopping Centre and Gallérie Lafayette / Printemps.

We like walking so the hotel was close enough for us to walk to the Seine and galleries Lafayette.

We read about the tiny rooms in Paris and the bedbugs and hence approached the hotel with apprehension.

Rooms are a little small by US standards,

Rooms on the small side and could use some maintenance (drywall putty in bathroom was an eyesore and shelf falling down)

but larger room this time, because the basuc twin room was too small to move around in it.

We walked to the Louvre, Opera Garnier, the metro, the Galeries Lafayette, and many dining places.

We had a lovely stay with our family in the heart of Paris close to the Norte Dame, Eiffel Tower and Galeries Lafayette.

We stayed for 5 nights at this excellent, centrally located boutique style hotel, just a 6 min walk to the louvre, and a few minute walk to the Opera House/Galeries Lafayette.

Location is good as it is walking distance to the opera, galeries Lafayette and the louvre.

The location is great, you can walk to the Louvre or the Galeries Lafayette within a couple of minutes.

The location is fantastic, just a few blocks north of the Louvre and about 1/2 mile from several of my favorite spots in Paris, including Galeries Lafayette (shopping!)

Location wise, this hotel was about a 7 minute walk to the Louvre and about a 15 minute walk to the Galeries Lafayette shopping precinct.

although there is construction across the street, that can be noticed at times.

Across the Place, there was construction of a new multi-story building, so noise was a problem between around 8am to 5pm approx.

There was construction going on, so the small square facing the hotel was quite noisy at times.

The bedroom overlooked the opera area which is sadly under construction on the lower level

One thing it was not good is the front of the hotel(^_^;)It was middle of construction

but had wished they warned us about the construction.

The nearest metro station (Richelieu Drouot) was closed for construction,

The issue that compromised our stay was the construction.

My only complaint was that there was some hideous construction going on nearby that woke everyone up at 8 am with earth shattering crashing,

It's a rare thing, so imagine how disappointing it was on our 2 night stay in Paris, one of the few times we might have actually been able to sleep past 6:30am, to be woken up at 8am sharp by loud construction.

There was some construction going on out in front of the hotel during our visit, which made for a less than spectacular building facade and entrance,

but the sidewalk is still cut up, so I suspect there may be follow-on construction at a later date.

Would have been very quiet if not for the noise of road construction -no fault of hotel!

It spoilt breakfast having a pneumatic drill about 2 foot away from you and the noise was deafening.

I loved that they kept the original ceiling wool construction and just painted to match the interior.

There was some construction noise in the morning from an adjacent building and they play music in the hallways almost 24 hours a day it seemed.

Maison Favart is in fantastic location easily walkable to the Opera and Galeries Lafayettte and so many fantastic restaurants close by.

The hotel was perfectly situated to Galeries Lafayette, Louvre, Touleries Gardens and several metro stops.

Very close to Galeries Lafayette and there are super restaurants all around.

walk to Opera Garnier and Galeries Lafayette, with great options of cafes and restaurants within minutes of walking distance.

Wether you want to enjoy a Ramen in rue Saint Anne, have a fancy lunch around la Madeleine or simply do some shopping and enjoy tons of cakes at Galeries Lafayette, it's all around!

The hotel is located on a quiet street near Boulevard Des Capucines and near Place de la Madeleine so it’s great for shopping, restaurants and attending a show: Paris Opera, Olympia, Place Vendome, Galeries Lafayette and Printemps Department Store are between .5 to 1 KM away.

The location is great (especially for my wife), with Galeries Lafayette and Printemps both a short stroll away.

The hotel is also right near Metro stops, restaurants and cafes, and a short walk (5 - 10min walk) to Galeries Lafayette.

but just around the corner from two metro stations (less than 2 mins walk) and only a 5-10 minute walk from Galeries Lafayette/Printemps.

The hotel is ideally placed on a beautiful, secret yet central spot in Paris, close to the Opera, the cool shopping of the rue Montorgueil or the extravagances of Galeries Lafayette or Printemps.

5 minutes walking to Gallerie Lafayette and so many shops and restaurants.

We can also recommend the rooftop of the Galerie Lafayette for a fabulous view of Paris and the Astair restaurant in the nearby Colonnades.

Beginning with wondering out your front door to the Comique Opera itself, you have a five minute walk to the best high street shopping in Paris, including, Printemps and The Gallary Lafayette, where an evening sunset trip to the rooftops is essential, followed by a show at Palais Garnier.

but close to all the stores (7min walk to Galleries Lafayette, 1 min walk to cafes and restaurants and 12 min walk to the Louvre).

It’s about a 10 min walking distance to the louvre and gallery Lafayette so also very convenient.

It is very close to Haussmann Blvd which has the Galerie Lafayette (it is broken up into several mega stores) and Printemps (more upscale).

It was lovely, directly looking onto the Oper Comique building and located within a few minutes’ walk from several sights including the Louvres, Galleries Lafayette, and Palais Royale with its beautiful gardens.

It is about 5-10 minutes walk to Galleries Lafayette department store.

Close to Galleries Lafayette and Passage.

Also close are Les Galleries Lafayette and Printemps for shopping, and the beautiful Palais Garnier.

This lovely hotel in a quiet location,but in the heart of 'everything' short walk to the Palais Garnier and Galleries Lafayette.

just in front of the beautiful “Opera Comique”, next to the Opera, to Grand Boulevards, to “la rue Vivienne”, to “Galleries Lafayette” and to lots of nice restaurants and bars!

Cons were that two of our rooms were quite small, the lift could be slow to arrive, and there was some kind of strong perfume in the lobby most days.

although rooms are a little small, the facilities and team are amazing.

The room was small and the balcony view was the wall of another building, so we didn’t use it.

I will say the rooms are a bit small by American standards,

As the floor space in the room is compromised by the main stairwell, we did find the shower room particularly small so perhaps ask for another room if space is an issue.

The fitness room is very basic - no hand weights, the room was on the small side and the air con wasn't up to much, so we wouldn't recommend staying there in the height of summer.

Our room was very small and definitely did not have a King size bed as advertised for all rooms.

but I we picked a small room since we were moving around town.

That being said, the room was very small, barely holding a queen side bed.

Only drawback is the lift is a bit small and difficult to use when there’s lot of people.

though with the lift (elevator), it’s really small.

but i think they should mention it as some people cant stand the heat even in may, the elevator is so small but it shouldn't be a problem if you are a family of 3 and no stroller, we had to put the stroller in reception as it was no room for that in our room.

Be aware when reception tell you to get the first lift it is tiny!

but gets no sunlight at all so is always quite dark and dismal and not good if you are at all claustrophobic it is also right next to the lift shaft so can be noisy for the breakfast rush.

The lift use stopped around midnight and seemed to recommence around 05:30/6am so we got very little sleep.

The lift is gorgeous and teeny, nothing we’ve seen before.

Oh yes, they have a small elevator so heavy, bulky luggage isn't  a problem.

The lift didnt go as far as my floor so had to take the last floor using the stairs.

although more should be done to the toilet. Hotel lift was exceptionally small - can take at max 2 people & 2 pieces of luggage (which is a good experience!)

There is a smallish lift available that goes up to the fifth floor and then a short flight of stairs up to the top, sixth, floor.

On the day of our check out, the lift broke down.
