However jam dispensers constantly empty, pancakes and waffles cold and the breakfast room itself freezing!

Negatives
Main big problem in Paris heat- no refrigerated air conditioning, they only have evaporated air conditioning.

The air con could have done with being turned up a notch in the hot weather.

We were besieged with electrical issues due to a faulty iron…twice it blew all the power points on two separate days….ultimately fixed after a couple of requests.

As regards the rest of the hotel, the service at the reception desk was poor in respect that we had explained the air conditioning issue to one of the receptionists who was going to fix the matter whilst we were out.

The website, app, and every document related to this hotel reservation indicated A/C would be available.

The air conditioning wasn't working the room was sooo hot!couldn't open windows because of noise.

The air conditioner struggled to keep up with the warm summer days in Paris, so sleeping was a bit sticky,

Stuff tells me that "AC is the same in all rooms".

The night before we left they offered us to change rooms, providing not feedback on the AC.

On the first night we arrived the air conditioning wasn't working satisfactorily, we reported this to reception and the next day they said they had changed the filter and it was (very slightly) better,

After 3 nights of waking up drenched in my own sweat and having considered all options (virus, aircon, stress, etc) I finally checked the bed and realised Novotel, a 4 star hotel, uses plastified matrass covers right under the bed sheet.

No portable heater available even I requested for one.

This could be such a good hotel if it would only do something about it's heating system!

Even so, we had only one outlet that was working in the whole unit.

For a 4 star hotel, the a/c definitely wasn't up to scratch and the breakfast was a mess - they could arrange two areas especially during high season.

The only complaint I might have was the air conditioning was not too powerful

They came to check the a/c and they said that it would not get colder.

The location is wonderful, in the center and just next to a main metro station.

The metro station is opposite the main entrance and if you're arriving in Paris by Eurostar it's just one stop on an RER D or B train from Gare du Nord.

Metro stations were right outside the hotel, and tons of restaurants were nearby.

the location was perfect for us, with a metro station right outside the door and just a 10 min walk from Notre Dame.

Metro station is right in front, Le Louvre is a 10 minute walk, so is Notre Dam.

Friendly staff, awesome breakfast & perfectly located near a major metro station with great connectivity across and outside of Paris.

We were steps from the metro station at Châtelet-Les Halles.

Metro station just a few feet away, easily walkable to the Louvre.

On the plus side: 
Great location - Châtelet metro station is right outside the hotel and so using public transport is super easy.

The metro station is literally 50 metres away to get everywhere around Paris.

but I would preferred to have a refrigerator, the hotel is well managed and clean the service was great, the hotel is close to all attractions, lots of restaurants and bars in the area, Metro station almost in the hotel, shopping center just behind the hotel and lots of other stores, overall very satisfied

The location is perfect right on Shatlet metro station, plenty of great restaurants and patisserie.

We stayed at Novotel Les Halles for 3 nights, excellent location, 1 minute walk from a very well-connected central train and metro station, Chatelete station.

Just outside the hotel there is the main station that most of metro lines interchange

The location is very central, close to a metro station, close to great shops, bakeries and restaurants.

Few steps from the huge train and metro station.

Besides that, the metro station Les Halles is one of the main one, so lots of lines stop at it, including the one to CDG.

10 steps from a major train and metro station so very quick to and from the airport.

The hotel is at a very convenient location just right beside the metro station.

But the worse was a fire drill that launched the alarms at 120db and where we were instructed by hotel personnel to stay in our room for several minutes.

Cons: 
in the middle of construction - loud construction noises/banging/drilling starting 10am everyday for the entire 6 days we stayed.

Negatives:
1) Currently, there are some road constructions going on, so hard to get Uber to come by.

There was some construction on the streets and some roads were closed so maybe that's the reason why the driver couldn't get any closer or maybe he didn't know the right way.

Hopefully all this construction work will be done soon and this will no longer be an issue.

Someone wrote about some metro construction, it´s all done now, and you can acces the metro-rer-station right on the front door of the hotel (exit Porte m. de Navarre).

NB, there is no place for taxi to come  near to the hotel due to the construction going on  (No problem for the noise).

The only disappointments were the slow check in and the noisy construction work outside,

The only inconvenience was getting to the hotel by taxi due to the construction work which is almost complete.

We found out that the construction has been ongoing for about a year.

There is still construction out the front of the hotel

Only downside is that it's under construction, so taxi cannot take you to front.

The construction around the hotel, which was a bit of a bummer, will be done by September.

The location's construction problem was not so bad because we didn't have massive suitcases.

The construction (for a metro station entrance/exit) in front of the hotel is almost over and should make it even better connected with the metro lines.

The roads surrounding the hotel are under construction which makes UBER and TAXI drop offs a little difficult

Location is very central, walking distance to Louvre, Notre Dame, Metro (Les Halles) and the only issue is that because of the construction to Les Halles, taxis couldn't drop us at the hotel

but only after construction is fully completed.

Whilst we won’t stay here again as I’d rate it a 3 star property regardless of it’s actual rating, it’s not to our standard and the location wasn’t as nice as the Eiffel Tower area or others.

The free ice cream from 4-6pm was very fun and the room service was quick. The location of the hotel was decent (walking: 1h to Eiffel, 10m to pont neuf, and 1h to Arc de Triomphe)

and a 2 mile walk to Eiffel Tower, Montmarte.

From this location we east went to  Montemarte and the Eiffel Tower area via metro.

The hotel is in a perfect spot to get to the top well known places e.g Eiffel tower is twenty minutes away by cab or #72 bus.

We payed about 15 - 20 euros for taxi transfer to Eiffel Tower, Or Basilique Sacr Coer in Montmartre, Le Ciel Montparnasse etc.

We could also see the Eiffel Tower lit up at night.

Nice room with a view to the Eiffel Tower.

It is walking distance to a lot of places and specially to the RER/metro train which is just underneath that can bring you to anywhere in Paris - the airport, Disney, Versailles, Eiffel…
It is surrounded by a lot of restaurants and stores as well.

Accessible to Taxis/ Train to Eiffel, Arc, Pantheon, Versailles etc.

Oh and the Louv was right around the corner and the Eiffel Tower a 20 min walk

Walking distance to the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, Pantheon and much more.

We walked to the Eiffel Tower which was about 4 miles

We were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade with a view of the Eiffel.

I did notice reviews at the Novotel by Eiffel tower weren't as good, so it looks like each location can be different.

We were able to use scooters to get around paris super easy even to and from Eiffel tower in under 20mins (1 way) riding next to Siene.

It took us a good hour to walk back from Eiffel Tower.

They arranged our airport taxi and even found a knife for me to take on our picnic at a park near the Eiffel Tower.

Ps - on the Monday visit to Disney, it was our daughters 6th birthday.

Our girls loved the free ice cream in the afternoon!

We came as a family of 4 (2 kids age 7 and 10), and we had 2 connecting rooms.

We were there for  mother daughter birthday trip.

We were visiting with our son, daughter-in-law & our first grandson.

I am travelling with my teens so there are 4 of us.

Good room size, perfect for a family of two adults and two children to relax.

Sometimes they were handing out free ice cream cones in the middle of the afternoon, which my kids loved.

I came here with my two boys and I HAD REALLY GOOD TIME with my kids here.

The room which had a comfortable double for my husband and I plus a sofa bed for our daughter was excellent.

The WC near the hotel restaurants has a cutely set up, and there is also a childrens area which we thought was a thoughtful touch.

Kabira and Lucille helped us a lot to accommodate our need for room type

Our young adult children enjoyed the junior suite.

We had two kids (4 & 6) who really enjoyed the kids room.

The we made a note on our reservations that we had 2 children traveling with us and the staff decorated the room with balloons and provided coloring pages and color pencils for the kids.

Inside there was even a separate play space for young children!

My granddaughter and I met in Paris for a long weekend and completely enjoyed our stay at Novotel Paris Les Halles.

It has a large variety to choose from everything were delicious and the price seems to be a bargain as kid have breakfast for free.

Executive room with Queen size and sofà for two teens was nice and comfortable.

Hotel is incredibly well located for restaurants, shops, sightseeing and transport.

So - location wise this hotel could not have been more perfectly placed had we done it by hand.

Great ambiance, Great Food (Price-quality ratio is alright) and if You’re lucky You’ll be with Théo who is a great waiter. The Restaurant is located inside a hotel,

very good location exept that taxis cannot come up to main door so you need to walk a couple of meters to get to street.

Very good hotel, perfect location (there is a metro station right in front of it), outstanding breakfast (really good), the staff is very friendly and helpful (specially Paulo that speaks Portuguese and helped us Brazilians with some great insights about the local restaurants).

Novotel Les Halles is very well located, next to Westfield Forum Les Halles - a great mall, near RER and Metro.

This very nice hotel provides value for money in terms of location (atop a transport hub), great breakfast, nice and proficient staff.

Impeccable service, great location, beautiful internal court and committed staff (thank you Vincent for all your support) :-) The conference facilities are modern, elegant and the delegate packages and buffet restaurant met all our expectations.

The bathrooms are modern and overhead waterfall-type shower heads are a nice touch after a day of Paris sites.

The best food ever Pablo recommended us alot of restaurants were very good also lots of place to visit eifel tower also good restaurant and very friendly atmosphere I will come again so as I can recommend every that can come to go.

Restaurant (for breakfast and dinner)  is very nice and the food excellent as well.

Especially Paolo was very kind and helpful with our baggage and recommendations for places to eat.

In the heart of the action, lots of bars and cafes nearby.

The food during the whole event was simply amazing.

Which ended up being fine since the food was so great.

The staff was very friendly and almost everyone spoke English.

We had issues with our Eiffel Tower ticket which he helped resolve, he also went incredibly out of his way to assist us with a misplaced passport issue-he used all his contacts and skill to save us from a bad situation, the taxi service they used was also amazingly friendly and helpful considering part of the population can not be overly helpful.

We were lucky enough to see the Eiffel Tower from our window.

It's downtown, clean,  has views of the Eiffel Tower by walking a block,  and not your huge,  expensive hotel.

You can walk to the Eiffel or take the Metro all at once.

The room is big, beautiful and has a huge balcony with a view on Eiffel Tower 🥰 very clean and comfortable, mini bar, coffee machine are in the room.

The staff was excellent.The room was super clean.The location was close (walking distance) to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Musee d’Orsay, Moulin Rouge and more.There are a bunch of great restaurants that are close by as well.They have snacks at night which was really nice.I would strongly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Paris.

From here we were able to easily get to Montmartre, the louvre, champs Elysee and the arc du triomfe, the Eiffel Tower, and endless restaurants, patisseries and shopping.

The hotel is in a wonderful location - it's within walking distance of the Louvre, the shopping district, many restaurants, and even the Musee d'Orsay and the Eiffel Tower are within a bit longer walking distance.

They helped us get settled in and recommended great restaurants and trips to Louvre and Eiffel Tower.

There are a lot of useful establishments nearby (a carrefour (grocery store), a laundromat, a pharmacy as well as restaurants and a quick walk to the Palais Royal area with the Louvre, etc. I believe the Eiffel Tower is about a 45 minute walk along The Seine with it's views and lower level where folks exercise, have dance instructions at night, etc.)

Only 5 mins walk to the Louvre, and a wonderful 25-30 min walk to the Arc or the Eiffel tower.

The hotel is centrally located and a half hour walk to almost anywhere, including Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, Moulin Rouge and Musee D'Orsay!.

Close to Louvre, lovely walk to Eiffel Towel along the Seine. Fabulous!

From the hotel, you can walk to the Eiffel (45 mins).

If you like to walk, it is only 30 minutes on foot to reach Eiffel tower.

The location was great and granted a perfect walk to the Eiffel Tower whilst also grasping the wonderful streets of Paris.

Walking distance from Le Marais, Notre Dame, Eiffel, Galeries Layfayette, Champs, etc.

We had a lovely stay with our family in the heart of Paris close to the Norte Dame, Eiffel Tower and Galeries Lafayette.

It is easy to walk to and from the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower and Montmartre etc as long as you are reasonably mobile (and have comfortable shoes!).

Walked to Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur, and Notre Dame.
