 - The location is a great base for many of the attractions and things to do, steps from the Chinese Theater and Dolby Theatre and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
 - You are steps away from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Dolby Theatre, the Chinese Theatre and the mall (it's actually connected to the hotel).
 - The location is unbeatable as you are part of the Hollywood & Highland complex adjoining the Dolby Theater and TCL Chinese Theater.
 - The hotel is less than a block away from The Chinese Theatre and Madame Tussauds is maybe 2 blocks.
 - The Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theater, and Hollywood and Highland are literally steps away.

 - The worst experience ever During the check in they asked me to pay 650 USD as deposit for the 5 nights !!!
 - After a two night stay, inquired about rates to stay one more night.
 - They don't offer room service which is ridiculous for a hotel in this price range.
 - Long story short I paid $250+ per night, my room was contaminated with blood on the BR floor and shower curtain.
 - The issue came when I used a Third Party to pay instead of going straight through the Hotel.

 - From the billing to the smell of each of the three rooms we got moved to, I will not be back
 - However, if we went over that 1 1/2/ hr allowance, then we were informed we would be charged half of room cost until 6pm or another whole day charge if after 6pm.
 - These surprise charges were deceptive and, truly, disappointing.

 - I stayed 5 nights at SLS and had a good stay. Well-located hotel, spacious rooms and very comfortable bed(as if we still need to mention in a luxury hotel room!)

 - So as I’m loading my bags I see omg they had my lights on again the whole time!!!!?????
 - - Guess what, the closet door couldn't shut close, hence the closet light couldn't be turned off!
 - Too many mirrors, no tables or lamps in the living rooms for reading or a place to put your coffee.
 - but again so dark and with no natural light, that my wife complained constantly she couldn’t see properly to do her make up.
 - We found continuous lack of light a little bit depressing 3.

 - Great location for walking Hollywood Boulevard and convenient to many restaurants.
 - We had the most amazing views of Hollywood Boulevard, the Hollywood sign, Hollywood high school, and more!
 - As locals, we really appreciate the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel- it truly is a beautiful getaway right off of Hollywood Boulevard.

 - With a location that cannot be beat across the street from the Chinese Theater, guests literally step right out to the stars on Hollywood Boulevard.

 - The room has a small table with two fixed chairs facing each other, which seemed like it would have been a workable area,
 - Our deluxe King room was tiny for 3 people (with comfy rollaway)
 - but keep in mind that it's a historic property and the rooms are tiny.
 - Also the rooms are very small.

 - The Roosevelt is expensive
 - There are many choices for hotels throughout LA and I was disappointed that The Roosevelt was resting on its history and not offering consistent customer care nor paid attention to details like basic room maintenance.
 - They even argued over how we were going to pay for it…we spent $800 in less than 24 hours there on the room and multiple meals and drinks, and it took multiple calls to figure out who was paying for the shipping for my wife’s purse and which account.
 - The standard rooms are much smaller than other hotels of this rating and this price,

 - Liked that the hotel elevators required a key card to get to your floor.
 - Unfortunately later that night, the employee was gone so a verbal altercation took place in the elevator because too many people tried to get on the elevator without wearing masks.
 - To receive the room key and to be actually walking to the elevators up to our room was a surreal experience in and of itself.
 - My adult son, Andrew G uses an electric wheelchair, he cannot transfer, so we rent a hoyer lift wherever we go and bring his personal shower chair.
