I don't know how to begin describing the amazing experience we had staying at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.

During the pandemic or not the Four Seasons in West Hollywood is hands down the best hotel to stay at in Los Angeles.

I often say great service is the unlock to any amazing hotel experience and this was proven by the exceptional team at The Four Seasons Los Angeles.

It's hard to describe Four Seasons Los Angeles as anything other than a nearly perfect hotel.

This was our first time visiting Los Angeles, and i can honestly say i couldn't have picked a better hotel to stay in!

This is my favorite place in all of Los Angeles and have stayed here many time.

Located just near the center of Los Angeles (perfect location), the hotel is clean and provides you a great hospitality.

I would higly recommend this hotel, especially if you are celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a memorable getaway to Los Angeles.

They give you excellent customer  service that is second to none  This is my go to hotel every time I'm in Los Angeles.

The Four Seasons LA at Beverly Hills is simply THE BEST hotel in Los Angeles.

It was our first time at the four seasons Los Angeles and we had a great time there!

For the cost of a stay at this location, these issues were completely unacceptable.

but food is not good and totally overpriced.

For one, the room service food is quite disappointing - I found the breakfast and late night meals very mediocre, especially for the price charged.

Yes, it’s all expensive (especially when dealing with a sterling: dollar exchange rate)

The pool menu has a silly “admin tax” which they explain as essentially a cost of doing business.

On our arrival at 10 PM @ LAX, rather than fight thousands of travelers trying to catch an overdue shuttle bus to an understaffed remote rental car location, the hotel provided a waiting car and driver for no more than the cost of a one-day rental car that I would have had to pay $50 for overnight parking.

but comparable hotels are priced the same.

Please do not think this is a paid review because its glowing - I’m a pretty tough customer so know this review is well deserved.

Now, it is quite expensive and is luxury hotel.

Very disappointing service at a very expensive hotel.

And also there was only a bathtub - no separate tub and shower which I consider to be a given in such an expensive hotel.

however not up to scratch especially for the outrageous pricing.

I expect more from Four Seasons and the price for the room.

My only criticism would be the price of parking, which I feel is very high with a price of USD 46 a day (ex tax).

but given we had chosen to pay more specifically for this feature I would have expected some other approach --- and wondered why we were even able to "book" the room if it wasn't available in the first place. Location.

but my one criticism would be that the master bathroom was small for this level of suite and price tag.

From the scent of the Lillies that filled the entrance, to the smile of Momodou Krubally at reception, to Jordan & Jessie at the bar, from the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we found it to be a beautifully refined and elegant experience.

Very amazing, modern, clean, and smell nice all the time.

The hotel smells great and the flower arrangements that greet you at the lobby and entrance to the elevator are stunning.

The pristine gardens and incredible fresh flower displays throughout the hotel inspire peace and tranquility and are a reminder to stop and smell the flowers!

This hotel is as close to perfect as you can get, from the moment you walk in and smell the lillies, to the time you leave.

The hotel grounds are impeccable maintained, white glove clean, filled with fresh smelling flowers.

Love the smell and its warmth when it's winter.

the decor, the flowers, the bathrooms in the room, the lobby, the furniture in the lobby, the moldings, the wait for the valet, etc.

The smell of flowers as you walk through the door wakes up the senses and brings a smile to my face.

I didn’t care for the toiletries they provided, the scent was god awful.

but everything you need steam, sauna etc and smelled amazing.

In Culina (the Italian restaurant) I had a truffle pizza with duck egg, the pizza was very dry and a bit burned.

From the moment you walk in the doors you are engulfed in the tranquil smell of tiger Lillie's, Beautiful bouquets everywhere.

Location for us very good, our room (De luxe with balcony) spacious-bath as well, clean,comfortable,free wifi, step out balcony (to have a relaxing smoke overlooking the breathtaking views,laundry service,inroom safe,marble bathroom with thick bathrobes,room service,bottled water.Comfortable beds, quiet.

You feel that you are in a beautiful smelly garden!

The hotel was the epitome of perfection and old Hollywood glamour with its notably kind staff, stunning architectural Art Deco design, state-of-the-art gym with an outdoor space, pristine pool, valet parking, a rich history of hosting A-list celebrities reminiscent of Hollywood's golden age continuing to this day (I saw Martin Sheen during my stay grabbing a drink), unmatched cleanliness standards, luxuriously appointed room suites, an exquisite on-site restaurant, and breathtaking views of Los Angeles—to say the least!

Hands down the best hotel in Los Angeles….my favorite in the US.

It is my destination address when in Los Angeles.

Sunset Tower was in a great location and provided a wonderful stay during our trip to Los Angeles.

we booked this hotel as regular visitors to Los angeles,and based on its reputation thought it would be an excellent way to end a birthday trip to Las Vegas,where we had just stayed at the beautiful encore resort for nine days.

Each has a wonderful view across Los Angeles, and a Nespresso machine with complimentary espresso.

I am lucky enough to work regularly in LOS ANGELES and Always stay at the towers.

I recommend the Sunset Tower Hotel for anyone traveling to Los Angeles and I highly recommend Tony and Angel!

From the tremendous brunch crew -- Angel (aptly named) who is quite literally the BEST server in all of Los Angeles - kind, attentive, always goes far above and beyond the call of duty, to Barbara and her warm, funny and hilarious hostesses -- to the incomparable and oh-so-chic Gabe at dinner.

Downgraded room for one of us
One of our room was very tiny and clearly not the superior room we had booked and paid for.

My room was so small there was no room for storage, the central air  conditioning  wasn’t working, the menu is limited, overall disappointment

The views are spectacular, rooms are small

The only drawback is that the rooms are quite small and the walls are paper thin.

The room was small and stuffy and about 80 degrees.

The room was small and noisy, I could hear the elevator rambling up-and-down through-out the night; there seemed to be a function on every day which prevented us from using the facilities of the hotel, which is why we came in first place; there always seemed to be a lot of confusion in the lobby with a lot of staff

Being on the Sunset strip, burn outs, mini drag races and over-revving of engines does happen all through the night.

You'll be very impressed by the crown molding in the room.

Staff was helpful  I chose this hotel because it is one of the few near Hollywood that don't use a bunch of fragrance.

but when you are paying that much for a room, you expect it to be clean smelling and in good order.

One of the highlights of the stay was being out on the balcony and having a Johnnie Walker Double Black and smoking a cigar.

Moreover, the quality of the furnishings just wasn’t quite there: from screws missing on light fixtures in the bathroom, to bedside tables with extensions that would fully retract, to warped base mouldings in the living room, to windows that have peeling paint and one must fight with to close – you just couldn’t ever get the feeling you were staying at a high-end property.

Special amenities included candles set up for a romantic bath, heavenly smelling cut soap, plus freshly baked cookies with turn down service.

Loved the Tower Bar and breakfast by the pool - Angel happily kept the coffee and hot milk coming and never rushed us when we lingered just to soak in the morning sun.

But it was just so comfortable to be there, enjoy the sun, and just read and talk (smoking aside).

We inspected the room and - fortunately - there was no smoking odor at all.

The rooms are spacious and exceptionally well appointed - espresso machines, wood and satin hangers, umbrellas, an excellent iron, sturdy ironing board, ash trays (on the 8th - smoking optional floor), cushy robes, well stocked refrigerator, a varied snack selection, glassware, ample Khiel's toiletries, pens, writing paper, post cards, iPhone dock alarm clock, dvd player, etc.

but had a first-class view of both downtown and the Hollywood Hills, comfortable bed and pillows, crisp sheets, comfy robes, a nice bathroom, and best of all, Kiehl's toiletries in my two favorite scents: grapefruit and coconut.

Their signature spa made sugar scrub is intoxicatingly good smelling as are all the products the spa uses.

I think this is a Hollywood thing, and I didn’t feel like complaining to the smokers or staff.

One used to be able to smoke outside on the wonderful terrace with unsurpassable views over downtown LA

but there are hidden fees everywhere and they do not provide the promised amenities.

Bathrooms are postage stamp sized, with old, tankless piping on toilets, tiny shelf space obviously an afterthought.

they provide face soap, shower and shampoo conditioning gel.

However, the guest rooms, bar area and amenities (gym and pool) are in desperate need of a refresh.

but the bathroom had not been properly cleaned.

The air conditioning blew right on my bed, I finally rigged up a bath towel and hangers to deflect the air.

the shower had two levels: blast you to the shadow realm it was so strong or so weak it just kind of slid out.

Even with such a great filmography background paint peels, walls are warn and dust covered the non working ac vents in our room AGAIN WE USED THIS AS A PLACE TO CRASH NOT A PLACE TO ENJOY AMENITIES so for things to detract our first LA experience takes a lot.

We were also surprised to find that all our cosmetics
had been disposed of three days before we were to check-out (the
employees were on strike, so it could have been a mistake by an
inexperienced room maid).

but there were no separate shampoos and conditioners but just one conditioning shampoo.

The carpet, furniture and baths need to be renovated as soon as possible.

coffee maker is not free it’s charging usd.35 and they also don’t provide free parking (charge start usd.50).

They also charge $40 a night for a rollaway bed.

A side note: consider bringing a small power strip if you need to charge multiple devices simultaneously.

but when we checked out I asked if they could do anything with the early check in charge  we paid seen as they now had a room they could use, she said she would ask her manager and get back to me but nothing has come of it

but my card didn't decline and i would have ignored the smaller things i had problems with and maybe even extended my stay since the location is great.

With all the extras they charge - really - they charge so much on top of the rate - that would be at least $500 for a mistake on their part.

I apologize that I am not rich and I don’t have an unlimited Amex card!

They charge a $35 per night “destination fee” on top of the hotel price that says it covers internet, pool access and water bottles upon request.

Hidden and frivolous extra bait and switch charges do need to stop.

Checked my bank statement and was charged after checkout a bunch of fees.

but nope, they just attempted to run on a skeleton crew, all while charging us full rate for little to no service.

The "destination fee" or resort fee of an additional $35 a night was charged to me without me knowing after my checkout in my billing statements.

Definitely check and know all the charges before you buy

I’m a 100% disabled veteran who has been grossly overcharged by the Biltmore Hotel front desk staff and as a result my checking account at Navy Federal Credit Union is now overdrawn because the computer system was not properly functioning

They tell you to email their billing team and they'll get back to you within 48 hours.

In February 2023, I had a 300 person wedding at the Millennium Biltmore for which the venue charged me $57,000 in fees.

$25 extra charge for breakfast was well worth it.

Then, they charged for things that were not even used, like parking: I have no driver's license or car and was charged for parking (60$) and had to spend an hour arguing with the front desk to get reimbursed.

Easy to get anywhere in Downtown Los Angeles from the Biltmore.

The smell in the lobby is so beautiful, it is like a day spa.

Our room smelled good and kept neat and well everyday, thank you to housekeeping!

I smelled it as soon as I got close to the bedsheets.

The room was okay, we got a room that stink like smokes .

The rooms were clean and smelling good, the crew was nice and helpful.

We was in room 777 on 7th floor, as we got put of the lift ypu was greeted by the smell of WEED and it was so strong.

Had breakfast at a French Patisserie just down the street, just OK with somewhat stale croissants

We removed the pillows that were now soiled, and realized we needed to make our own fun outside of the room and hotel.

But the more I stayed in the room the more grossed out I got.

Housekeeping quickly deodorized it, and took care of the odor.

The sandwiches were fresh and tasty, including cucumber, deviled egg, smoke salmon, and prosciutto, on a variety of breads, cut in different and appealing shapes.

The pool reminded me of a Roman bath with its pillars and decorative tiles. A poster explains the history of the health club which has been in operation since 1926 and used to have amenities like Turkish baths, ice showers, and a smoking room (of course!)

however it was clean and haven't seen any mold or similar.

The decor is simple and elegant, filled with beautiful crown moulding and highlighting the cinematic history of the hotel.

but chemical levels are so high it bleached my bikini.

NOW FOR THE FRAUD PART- After checking out 2 weeks later i started seeing random charges from this hotel on my card for $30 then a week later another few charges $25 at a time!

They also charges us for items we never received.

Everynight there is something going on..tarot card readings, bedtime stories, themes .

I was charged the full price for the room.

I don't think the hotel's hospitality is at the caliber they're charging.

The billing at checkout was messed up and actually still not resolved.

but that's what you owe, can I have your credit card”. Seriously?

Another note is that they charge $46 per night for parking, so definitely worth factoring that into your budget as we didn't realise until we got there.

I reported this and, hopefully, won't be charged.

Its the little things that matter, and charging a resort fee for a small bottle of water per day has completely shocked me.

Even helped sneak an envelope to us during dinner (I didn’t have a way of hiding the anniversary card from my wife).

In dispute with them now unfortunately as money has been taken off my credit card over a month after I checked out.

but of course, no one at the front desk seemed to know what money was, so he had to charge the parking on his card, but they wouldn't let him leave a tip on the card.

but the taxi had the card machine not working and didn’t know even the area I was supposed to be in to catch a pre-paid bus to Vegas.

How are they able to charge my credit card without a signature and while I was not there.

We got breakfast, parking, $25pp/day credit and a slightly-upgraded room for $250 (before tax).

They claimed we had ruined the duvet and so attempted to charge us $500 - yes $500 for something we did not do!!

The only drawback was the fees of $39/night charged for the overnight parking.

although the credit was not on my bill, and my bill was $150 more than it should have been that I would not be charged.

We explained that we refused the wine the evening before and asked that she not charge us the exorbitant $39 overnight parking fee, which she indeed dropped.

This hotel has the best vibe in Los Angeles.

Unyielding and uncompromising in its vision, the hotel offers a charmingly eclectic, unique, and even mysterious retreat from the city, transporting guests into a world that seems a cosmos away from Los Angeles—perhaps even from our reality itself.

The live music, gorgeous rooftop pool/lounge area, and incredible atmosphere have made Petit Ermitage my go-to hotel for visiting Los Angeles.

And enough has been said about the rooftop deck, which is one of the more unique and fascinating places to exist in Los Angeles.
